Sat on patio. Could use some extra greenery or flowers to spruce it up and make a bit more private from the parking lot. Very nice server. Attentive, low key approach. Had the Mista salad, scallops, lamb empanandillas and Quebec cheese. All really good. The bacon wrapped date was okay (bacon great but date spongy and soft). Great beer - Reserva.

We did takeout and the food was fantastic. It was a night in with the wife so I can't speak to the service. The dollar value with the 15% discount was perfect at $47 for a charcuterie board, extra bread, and pork belly. The pork belly and its sauce was amazing and worked perfectly as another meat to the board. The meat options that came with the board were great however the amount was average. The cheese options in my opinion were fantastic due to the 2 blue cheese out of 3. However it's not practical to have 2 strong cheeses when serving only 3 options. The sauces and mustard was perfect. Having the extra bread added a few more sauces which helped. I had to add a bit more mustard due to the small portion they provided. In my opinion if you add the pork belly, another mustard, another cheese and double the bread his would be an amazing board for $50.

The only comment we could make (and this is not a complaint) is that our server was a bit slow, but the place was super busy at the time. Food and drink were excellent. We have been back several times. Great for date night.

This is our second time here and it was just as good as the first. The food is fantastic, the servers helpful and engaging. My wife and I shared a number of small plates (the sardines are wonderful) and their seafood paella. Portions are generous, we had enough left over to have lunch the next day!

Friday night and the Chef at Bodega never disappoints. Every dish from start to finish was mouth watering, if you have never been, well you just gotta eat here. Flavours that compare to some of the best restaurants in New Orleans.

I will start with the punch line: We are so fortunate to have Bodega in St Albert. Or anywhere for that matter. This is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. I think we have been maybe 10 times and it is nowhere near enough. We have never felt so delighted to be at a restaurant and we cannot get enough. The ambiance, the food, the service is just unbeatable. There is a gentleman named Olofee who is not only extremely helpful and pleasant, he is also a very high level host and server. He knows his food and wine and makes the experience speical. We cannot recommend Bodega in St Albert enough. See you soon Olofee!

Went here for the first time today and I will definitely be back. This place is beautifully decorated with a great ambiance. The wine selection is amazing, and pairs really well with their food selections. Because we got there around 3, we decided on the tapas, loved every option we chose. Everything was delicious. Great food. A bit pricy for the portion size but I can look past that given how delicious the food was. We ordered the chicken and shrimp family style feature, bacon wrapped dates, and beef empanadillas. I’d highly recommend and we will definitely go again!

My husband and I wanted to try this restaurant! We ordered take away We got dinner for 2 (option1) which is very generous servings. Food and sauce was great veggies and meat was tender seasoned well and prawn was cooked perfectly, dipping sauce highlighted the flavours. We had almond cake and Cheesecake for dessert that completed our fabulous dinner. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We will come back again for the other menu items to try. Highly recommended.

We’ve ordered from Bodega in the past and the food was very good. Unfortunately I called on Sat Feb 13th to place an order for Valentines Day, and was told to call the next day anytime before 4pm and place the order the same day it was to be picked up. I called at 2:45pm on Valentines Day to place my order (as they directed) and I was told that they were not taking any more orders. In fact, they told me that I could/should have placed the order the day before. I explained that I did call the day before and was told to call the day of, but they would not take my order. Very infuriating.

No barriers between tables, zero room to social distance (I was basically shoulder to shoulder with the table beside me) and best part is when I showed my vaccine passport, my vaccines were folded down so the employee waved me in without looking or verifying my ID. Also they don't scan QR codes. Food was ok.

What a wonderful experience! Our first time and first date night in awhile... it was incredible. The service was some of the best that we have ever had. The atmosphere is relaxed & beautiful. They had an awesome special on that gives you a bottle of wine and quite a few dishes for only $60. Every we tried was unique and bursting with flavors. Highly recommend!!

Fabulous evening here with girlfriends. Food and service exceeded my expectations. Bartender went out of his way to craft a special martini for me using flavours I really enjoy. Our waitress was so helpful with suggesting menu items. Her friendliness and sense of humour contributed to a fun evening. Cod fritters were yummy, mushroom risotto was good. Muscles were tasty, brussel sprouts were okay. The ginger beer with jin drink we ordered definitely needed a cherry - but otherwise was great. Friendly server.

Very nice, but not 5 start for value. It's a beautiful restaurant with a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is mainly tapas as if you were in Spain. Happy hour had deals on wine, by the glass or the bottle; half price. We really enjoyed ourselves but it struck me as a bit pricey for what you got. A treat for sure.

I am the Manager at Bodega St Albert. I love our selection of food and wine, and along with my great staff, take pride in our service, quality of product, and friendliness. I am bound by the law to ensure all our guests have valid QR codes, Out of country vaccination proof, or proof of Negative test within 72 hrs. Unfortunately, this is MANDATORY. It is not a "customer service issue". It pains me to have to turn guests away, ever! However, I must if they don't want to comply.Thankyou and SEASON'S GREETINGS..

Pros: Decor, Atmosphere, quality of menu/food/drinks/service. Cons: a little too pricey for the very small portions. It'd be nice to be able to be full for $30 and that's really not possible here. I would choose a cheaper comparable place to go unless it was a special occasion. Really nice to have a restaurant/bar like this on the southern end of St. Albert finally.

Had a really bad customer service experience and won't be back. My friend with me who lives in the area said they didn't think they'd be back either based on the way things unfolded. Bodega St. Albert feels like home to my husband and me. Dan and O. always greet us by name and have our fave bottle of wine, beer, and/or cocktail ready to go. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, and the food continues to blow our minds as we make our way through the menu. I’ve never been a fan of pâté before, and cannot get enough of their Chicken + Smoked Duck pâté since I first tried it a few months ago. A few other fave menu items are the Braised Boar Cheeks, Piri Piri Prawns, and Seared Ahi Tuna Salad. My friends like to make fun of me because I’m here multiple times a week, but when the food is this great, the staff is this friendly, and the service is top-notch, why wouldn’t I be???

Absolutely love this restaurant! Being Celiac can be challenging but the staff were super knowledgeable - swapped baguette for gluten free crackers and kept everything separate. The food was amazing, the wine and beverages perfect. Will definitely go back!

We absolutely love this place and it is perfect if you have a hard time deciding what to eat. The prices are great and you can try a lot of different dishes for the price of a normal entree at a moderately priced restaurant. The server we had was incredibly knowledgable and we had a great night there. We haven't been back since covid happened but after recommending it to a friend I just had to write a review. We can't wait to get back there.

pricey for the portions you got, tomatoes and cheese salad, 2 pcs of bruschetta, seafood paella, omg ridiculous portions. the server didn’t fill our glasses of wine when our glasses were empty. Disappointed with the server funny though when asking the server would this be enough for 2 people oh yes it’s good portions. Sad part I could of gone to another restaurant and got bigger portions for the amount of food we got and paid for. price gouging not cool Would give negative stars if possible

Came here with my boyfriend for some drinks and good eats and was not disappointed. My uncultured palette does not handle red wines well. In all honestly I prefer sweet wines and cocktails. However, we ordered our food and drinks based solely on recommendations and I was so blown away. The wine pairs so well with the food that I had Ayaka pouring me drinks all night. Come here alone, with one other, or a group and you’ll leave happy every time.
