I just went there with my family for my birthday and I really enjoyed hearing how they got started and the explanation of the process for making the alcohol. We sampled all of the liquor and it was difficult deciding which one to buy, they were all Great! We all bought the hand sanitizer before we left, great idea. Highly recommend.

Andrea and David were absolutely amazing to work with! We custom ordered bottles to ask our wedding party to be a part of our big day and they turned out absolutely beautiful! They were also a huge hit with the bridal party. We had a tighter timeline of needing them in a month and they took the project on for us with no sweat so that the bottles were ready for or engagement party. There flavors are great and super unique which is why we went with Black Diamond Distillery in the first place. Are personal favorites are the apple pie and tart cherry. But what was super cool is that there were enough unique flavors that we could pick various flavors to match with our friends personalities when we custom ordered the bottles. The biggest hit was the hot chili pepper vodka as everyone wanted to see how hot it truly was. This is why there is a little less in the picture - they immediately wanted to test it out.

Authentic microdistilery. Great, dryer liqueurs, Tart Cherry and Coffee popular around this house. Very nice gin from locally foraged botanicals but basically out till next summer. Also check out the Mule in a can.

After traveling from Calgary and triple checking their website and Facebook page for when they would be open we planned a trip from Edmonton (where we were staying) to specifically go to the distillery so we could have a tasting (my husband hasn’t tried all the flavours), maybe a tour (if offered) and save some money compared to liquor store prices. When we arrived we found a sign stating they were closed for an offsite event. We double checked their website and Facebook again and found no information stating they changed their hours for January. After contacting them via text I was told they put it on social media (only Instagram, not Facebook or their website). After doing some digging I did find it on their Instagram story, which did not auto load for me when I visited their page. I am very disappointed with how they inform people of changes, and knowing there are people out there not on social media makes it hard to accept that they don’t update their website with hour changes. We bought 6 bottles from a liquor store in Edmonton and ended up spending about $35 more because of that plus gas on the wasted trip to St Albert. The products are awesome, but the customer service is questionable at best. I can only hope that it improves.

We purchased some Apple Pie and Coffee liquor from Black Diamond at a market last year, and loved them both! I definitely savoured both of them slowly, as they are delicious both straight and on top of vanilla ice cream. I look forward to getting more flavours in the future to support this wonderful local company!

It was such a pleasure to work with David and Andrea to come up with a beautiful label that completely reflected our wedding day. We gave a bottle to our wedding party and those who helped with our wedding day and it was a huge hit! Also, the Apple Pie vodka was so, so smooth and delicious, everyone was impressed. I was tee-total for 23 years before I discovered Black Diamond’s Tart Cherry liqueur! It’s the most delicious alcoholic drink I’ve ever tasted and I’ve recommended it to more people than I can remember. Now, I like to have my drinks with a ‘Rosy Bottom’ - a good slosh in any clear drink gives a wonderful ombré effect. You should try it!

Saw these guys at a booth at the Butterdome Craft Show and decided to purchase a bottle of their Spiced Cranberry...BEST...decision ever! This stuff is amazing on it's own or with some Ginger Ale. My husband and I recently tried the Raspberry Lemonade and Earl Grey Mule craft cocktails and they are really, really, ridiculously good. They taste exactly like (if not better than) a cocktail you would buy at a fancy lounge, but you get four of them for the same price as you'd pay for one. Unbelievable work from a great Alberta distillery!
