Always enjoy coming in this place! They are a microbrewery with world class beers! Today I had a Gigonne which is like a Guiness dark full of flavour but not overbearing. With that I had the half rack of ribs with a side of Caesar salad and it was excellant. The place is pretty busy so you may want to consider coming early or making a reservation. The staff is supper friendly and always smilingly happy. I highly recommend this place even though the one thing some people may reproach would be the noise since it is a resto-bar! Come in groups and try all the specialty beers you will be impressed.

It's a worthy expression of Canadian cuisine. The waiters were kind and helpful. It was full of locals (it is always a good point). The place was cool but a little noisy (and dark). They have a decent amount of beer to choose but the one I tasted didn't meet my expectations.

Table pleine de verres vides et d’assiettes à nachos pendant toute la soirée, personne ne débarrasse... il y a une dizaine de personnes dans la place. J’ose pas m’imaginer quand c’est plein. Service horrible, attitude horrible et prix horrible. A vous de décider.

This sister bar of La Voie Maltée in Jonquière opened unceremoniously on the boulevard Talbot, Chicoutimi, in Fall 2008. It offers house-brewed beer and delicious pub-grub in a pub type setting. Since it's opening, I have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed with its home made food. They proudly boast that all their recipes have at least a little touch of their beer in them and that everything is home made. Most of the staff are very welcoming and attentive, and they don't take long to get to know their regulars. There is a warm atmosphere and on Saturday nights a soul band adds to the atmosphere. All in all, I highly recommend this new venue for informal meetings and dinners with friends.

The best option (which I strongly recommend) is to become plastic-free in your service (or totally ideally) no longer to give straws or plastic cups, it's a good pub and it's better for the environment. À l'entrée on m'a servit la sauce d'accompagnement dans un petit plat en métal, mais au repas principal toutes les sauces étaient dans des gobelets de plastique! Pourquoi? Je n'ai pas apprécié du tout! C'est choquant! Surtout que vous avez le matériel nécessaire pour être plus éco responsable! Au moins vous pourriez mettre cela dans des cups de carton, c'est déjà moins pire et je suis certaine que ça vous reviendrait moins cher! La meilleure option (que je vous conseille fortement) est de devenir sans plastique dans votre service (ou totalement idéalement) ne plus donner de pailles ni de cup en plastique, ça fait bonne pub et c'est meilleur pour l'environnement.

Have been here twice. Will not be going back again. Venue was nice, food was pretty good, service was okay, if a little lacking. BUT: After our meal, the server DEMANDED a tip, asking what country I was from and instructing me that the minimum was 15%. I am from Canada, thanks. If you don't make enough money, bring it up with your boss, not your patrons. If it's an issue with minimum wage, contact your local MLA. UPDATE: The server has contacted me via social media to continue telling me that tipping is mandatory. DO NOT GO HERE!

Sadly, it was a very sad meal... sad looking burger bread, depressing meat, suicidal fries. The food was very disappointing I must say. Tasted all three hot sauce and was even more left aback. It ressembled more of a spiced ketchup then a hot sauce. The staff was extremely friendly and the ambiance was truly great. In the end, the beers were also very standard tasting.

I love this place, food is great I've tried many dishes over the past 5 or 6 years and I have to admit I really enjoy the ribs. I get the half rack, with fries and salad and it's enough for me. I also like the chips, you can ask for them to warm up your chips they taste great. Tonight I tried their cheese cake and oh my gosh it was so good. It even came with a Carmel type sauce. So delicious. They have a wide variety of beer to try as well. Plus on top of that our serve was awesome. He was great, funny and came by often to check if we needed anything. Great night with a friend.
