Never disappointed with the service, food or drinks at Crossroads. The atmosphere is always lively and fun. I don't find myself a huge beer fan, but I love the George Street Brown Ale! Always love visiting Crossroads!
When i first moved here three years ago, i tried coming in to have a beer because i spent the whole day unpacking and had no internet at the new apartment and i was new in town. I stood around for 10 mins before someone noticed me (even then i had to stop someone to ask if i could sit at the bar) but they told me the kitchen was closed and basically like they didn’t wanna serve me. I was actually pretty upset and frustrated, still kinda am because this experience ruined this establishment for me. I would like to want to go to this place but being dismissed like that was probably the worst introduction. Only other time i came here it was for their half priced pizzas but even then i felt like i was ignored. Pizza and beer was good, just service sucked. Not looking for anything just sharing what happened to me here. Not sure if this happened to anyone else
Food was amazing and so was the service
Corbin was fantastic, friendly, excellent service. Prompt but not overbearing at all. His referral of the Clouded Judgement IPA was spot on for their feature pizza. More than hospitable to a small change to the menu item ordered. Cheery ambience from other patrons enjoying themselves without loud music blaring over to hide that. Local and a wonderful place to visit, will be making it a regular visit.
Lots of variety in food and beer. Very warm atmosphere with excellent indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are somewhat high but typical of microbreweries.
Staff is funny, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The two beers I tried were awesome. The snacks were really good.
Nice ambiance, liked the open pizza kitchen. Good selection of beers. Try the flight to get a taste of any 4.
The food is expensive for what you get, but the brisket is amazing. Fatty, but tasty. The croutons in the ceasar salad are interesting - I think they're dried out pretzel pieces. They offered no-charge tastings of their new stout (chocolate raspberry - interesting, but obviously a stout), and berry Cider (VERY! dry). The waitress was very friendly and patient with us trying to figure out what to order and if we liked the beer/stout or cider. She listened to our taste preferences, and offered alternative drinks, which were much better.
Crossroads has great food and beer. Featuring a wood pizza oven and beer from the attached brewery, this place is able to offer something that was missing in PG for a long time. All made in house and from as local as possible products. Menu has many pizza selections, great appetizers and several non pizza entrées as well. Pics show a off the grid ( no cheese for me) and the Italian stallion. Drink: crossroads has about 8 of their own beers on tap in addition to any special keg brews. They also have rotating taps from other local breweries in the north. They also have cider on tap and have Hester Creek wine. Tonight they also featured wine from northern lights. You can also buy or bring your own growlers to be filled here.
Really disappointed. I loved Crossroads and it was always my to go to. Last time I was there I ordered my usual which is their Pizaa. I found hair in my food also the middle of the pizza somehow didn't have the crust. So it was half a pizza. I complained and my waitress told me she will let the manager know. When I got my bill they gave me 5$ off which I found insulting. Our bill was almost 100$ so obviously the money wasn't the problem I just felt I wasn't valued as a customer. That after finding hair in my food and I had half a crust for my pizza instead of saying sorry and showing me a good customer service they just gave me 5$ off. Although is my favorite place I'm not sure if I go back there.
Great beer brewed on site, amazing pizza!
Nice modern open pub like style. Plexi glas between tables.
Nice selection of beers and a decent menu. I had the Tacos...they were 'ok'. Other meals passing by looked good though!
Great environment where the staff are really engaging and they endeavour to make everything on site. For a special treat sit at the bar by the kitchen. Make sure to invite me if you go.
I’d give this place 5 stars if I was just rating the food but I found the beer a bit lacking. The atmosphere was great, the food was perfect, and the service was excellent. My only criticism is that their beer isn’t nearly as good as the rest of their offerings. All of it was lacking refinement and a bit uninspired, I guess thats why they have so many offerings from other breweries... Would definitely go back, just wish they had a decent IPA to complete the package!
Their pizza is always fantastic. I recommend the funguy pizza if you like mushrooms. Their beer is great and they always have so much to choose from when you're there. The patio and interior are gorgeous and the service is awesome!
Crazy good food for a brewery! And of course, you gotta go with the nitro stout.
Great place for brunch!
Good food tasty beers, relaxing atmosphere. Good print service
Great food and atmosphere..... and beer. Must stop!
Delicious food!!!!
Mmmmmmmmmm beer. Great atmosphere and tasty eats. The beer is excellently crafted and growlers are available.
Excellent food and service!
Nice atmosphere and even with a full restaurant it doesn't feel crowded. Delicious food, the beer aren't too bad either.
Great layout especially for bringing a group. Handcrafted beer...delicious.
Website says the restaurant is family friendly but we were let in and then abruptly kicked out. Went to a different restaurant instead and were much happier with that experience.
The pizza was very fresh and high quality. The servers did an amazing job during a busy time, and provided excellent customer service, overall a great experience.
We really enjoyed our food. We were in town for work and stopped in. I would highly recommend a stop here.
Good pizza even the crust
Wow, amazing smoked meats here. Their baby back ribs are fall off the bone and possibly the best I have ever had. Highly recommend.
Awesome customer service and friendly waitresses had a great time
Stopped here for lunch yesterday and it was very good, not too busy. The service was excellent and will definitely be back. We both thad the classic eggs benny which was great. Next time I'll try a pizza and another beer which I don't see in our liquor store.
My vist to this beautiful town would be forgotten easily if i had not visited this modern restaurant with an in built fresh brewery . I dont drink beer but i envy of how beer strike friendship between people from all spheres of life. It has a seperate section for fresh lager serving or take away kind of thing. Beer lovers bring their refillable beer botles and get them to brim. Wow . Just go to the counter, select what you like and pay for it. Just like buying wine at a wineshop. I sat alone and enjoyed a fresh chicken breast with vegetables. Wholesome and tasty meal . Servers are well versed with the skill of alcohol handling. All were wearing masks, seating area divided by glass panels thay goes synchronized with the interiors of the restaurant. Interesting desert to try is root beer float ( vanila bean ice cream in root beer)
Great atmosphere, food, food and drink selection, and service. I'll definitely be back.
Been going here for a while and enjoy it every time. The service is great even though it can get quite busy on the weekends. The pizza's are my favourite food there. Wood fired and delicious toppings. And of course the beer... Brewed on site and always cold!
I love the food here, great service, and friendly staff. Just do not order chicken wing before 4 p.m. because that is the only time they are served.
The pizza is delicious
Absolutely gorgeous place. Food was so amazing and staff very nice and helpful. I can just recommend.
Great service and food. Bonnie Henry friendly.
Great craft beer! Food is amazing too
The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the wild pizza was very tasty. They brought me some samples of beer based on my interests. It wasn't too busy on a Tuesday night, so I got to chat a bit with my server about the town. I really enjoyed the brewery and would 10/10 recommend it.
Great craft beers and pizzas
This place always has awesome service, great food, and fantastic drinks. Their flights of beer are nice additions to appies. to be able to taste which one beer think you'd love with a nice snack ????
QAwesome beer. Good location. Noisy
Typically an awesome place to visit with a rotating tap menu along side the robust line of excellent beers. Service is generally slow and mediocre. But the good and the beer makes up for it
Great place, great food, great atmosphere! An awesome way to support a local venture and vastly better then franchise food!
Great beer. Good atmosphere. Good pizza
Nice place in PG for a craft beer and a good meal. Sat on the patio last Friday (May 10) with sunny weather and we had a big group all arriving at different times and the waiter handled us and our separate bills perfectly!
It's good. Pizza is great. Beer is meh. If you're into that craft stuff, you'll love it. If you just like a nice pilsner, maybe... Craft is just not my thing.
We arrived in town on Friday Sept 11 th to stay at the Ramada hotel and were delighted to find a nice brewery across the street where we could enjoy a nice beer and food. We went Friday night at 8:00 pm to get beer and food and requested a fire table but were told that it was first come first serve, that was acceptable. The next day we decided to call and reserve the fire table because we were from out of town and don’t have the luxury of just coming to wait for this special table. We were told there was no reservations behind made for the fire table, but others were waiting inside the restaurant for those tables and I was told we could wait inside for a chance to get a fire table. I found the ladies inside to be stand off ish, not friendly and not too sure about how to accommodate our of town guests that were not familiar with how seating worked in this situation. We decided to take our business to Moxies and were happily accommodated and had a nice dinner outside on the patio. We will not likely return to the Crossroads brewery in fear we will be treated the same way. Accommodations should be considered for our of town guests and high paying customers that just want to enjoy a nice beer and dinner. Sadly disappointed with this establishment.
Got into town late and saw this was open. Really impressed with the atmosphere, food, and massive beer selection. Highly recommend stopping in for a pizza and a flight!
An amazing atmosphere and even better food! By far the best pizza we have had in town as well as a incredible selection of beers! All of which are delicious. Their sample set of beers is incredible and a great price! I cannot recommend coming here enough!
Waiter was good.
Great service and the best beer anywhere. Love this place!
Just love this spot! Great staff, great food, and out-of-this-world beer. We're so lucky to have Crossroads in PG.
This was my first visit to CrossRoads and I will certainly return. The pizza crust was one of the nicest I've eaten. Toppings were unique and varied. The salads were wonderful and the servers though very busy were friendly and cheerful.
Great experience.
Excellent made-on-premise on-tap beers.
Best beer and some of the best food in town. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I go here at least once a week. Make sure to sit at the bar for some free samples. ;)
Dropped in for a quick bite...but wow, what a pleasant surprise! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and yummy food! Got return customers from us forsure! Cheers.
Great pizza, fast service - I really enjoyed the ambiance - open with lots of wood! Good attention to details.
Great patio seating on 5th Ave with good forest views. The service was excellent, and the food/ drinks were amazing. Would recommend to anyone if you're in the Prince George area!
This place has good beer and a great patio in the summer!
So patio is great. The beer is better. I honestly shouldn't order food as the beer is so great. Different flavors but last cheese and neat share plate was disappointment just like mustard on the board it was very small portions, it was so hot outside the meat and cheese was sweating when we got it. One kind of bread cracker like 5 pieces. Like a pickel chopped up , 3 pieces of cheese Different kinds but like it cost 25.00 u get 5 mini beer and it looks like they serve you what's stuck to the plate. The waitress forgot us but finally came to take our order. Like I said the beer is the finest. But that's twice I have been let down for food. The place is accessible but parking on the road good luck then getting onto sidewalk np but the door ramp is skinny, steep grade. I noticed a few tables w o chairs but very high traffic. The patio is nice but cramped , w plexi glass umbrella s shared tables not sure how accessible.
Fantastic as always, great beer and good meals!!!
The staff were friendly and the food was great! A very nice relaxed atmosphere.
3-6 o'clock is happy hour, and beer only costs $5. The food is delicious and the beer is good. Sitting outdoors on a sunny day is very comfortable.
Great pizza, great beers! Always good and the patio is wicked!
Great craft beer and pizza. We're from Quesnel and this is definitely the best brewery in Prince George.
Friendly wait staff and okay service...food meh. A good place to try beer and appies. Pub grub (Reuben sandwiches, burgers etc instead of out of the ordinary pizzas and lack of choice for dinner entrees/should serve earlier too especially in summer) plus an encased food and drink menu posted outside would help.
Little pricey but the food and service was top notch.
Good beer and pizza.
Great pizzas, but expensive and they didn't do anything for our birthday meal. Not even a song!
I love the food menu and the atmosphere. Very bright, lots of windows, wood interior and fire place makes it cozy. The menu is original and tasty. Love that smoked salad dressing! Food tastes fresh. I'm not a beer drinker, I came here for lunch, so I can't speak for the brewery part but I am pleased with the food part!
Great beer and Pizza. Loud but good.
Great food, service and of course the beer.
Always great pizzas. Sat out on the patio to enjoy the hot sun. Great place!
One of the best places for a beer and pizza in town, with very fast service
Fab dog-friendly patio, with a genuinely balanced, well thought-out menu. This is not usually the case for vegetarians, etc. Good mix of year-round beers, too. Also not always the case as many places are stacked with hop-heavy IPAs. Nice to see a place that’s thought about what it wants to offer customers. Big fan.
Really relaxed atmosphere and vibes! If your not a beer drinker thats quite alright as their bar is stocked with many other apéritifs to endulge in. I appreciated the clear viewing windows that provide a wonderful verisimilitude into the brewery & distillery operations. I would highly recommend this place for a local stopover or weekly hangout. The site is clean and well balanced.
Awesome pizza and amazing craft beer!
Excellent service. Very cool atmosphere. Excellent food.
Beers and service were fantastic. Didn’t try the food, but it looked good.
Lively atmosphere, great smoked meat, and tasty beer flight!
I got a charcuterie board and a pizza. The pizza was cold as cold could be. The charcuterie board was gross, the meats just plain meats and two were a little off and I didn't want to eat it, or anyone else. My partner got a BBQ sandwich that was ok, and warm potato salad. The cornbread was ok. Over all not worth the way over priced. Disappointed.
Best local place to serve traditional wood stove cooked pizza. Love the Off the grid pizza. Local meats = yum
Great craft beers to select from for flights and some interesting choices for appetizers.
A great place to meet with friends. Thier beer sampler option is a good value and a good way to try the huge selection of beer they offer (they have other drink options too). Each beer we tried had a nice flavor profile, no dud suds here (our favorite was the chocolate raspberry stout). The wings were a bit $$$ but fall off the bone tender and the dry rub was delicious, a bit of spicy sauce on the side was just the right amount of heat. The large wood tables and benches lend to a great environment to have a meal and the staff was friendly and attentive. A great experience overall.
Wow! Great beer selection, bartenders, and delicious food. The soup of the day, roasted red pepper, carrot, and coconut milk was fantastic, perfect for a rainy day. And they let me sub the sauce for something spicier on my Mediterranean pizza (artichokes, olives, capers, goat feta, mozza cheese, and sun dried tomato pesto). Frequent deals on beers and they have flights. Loved everything about it!
Food & Drink were excellent. Service was a little slow.
A welcome addition to the brunch scene. French toast and a cider mimosa ????
Love the food... friendly staff and quick service
Excellent service and food. Thank you so much. Will definitely be back.
The cooks are the bomb.
Great place to stop by and check out their local brews
The food was good but the prices are insane. 2 12 inch pizzas, an app and one drink should not cost over $80.
Excellent establishment, great selection of local beers from the area, and friendly staff!
Great food and great beer! The patio is very nice in the summer. Large doors open up to the patio allowing even the indoor tables to feel like being outside.
First time there. Greaaat service! Good pizza. Cleeeean oatmeal Stout!
Great brewpub with great character. Excellent addition to the downtown pub scene, and lively even on weekdays.
Omg a domestic brewer that nails Hefeweizen. Finally a micro brew that is not obsessed with hops!
Good beer. They also have other local brews on tap if you want try some other decent beer from the area. Didn't eat any food so can't say anything about that.
Best place in town to chill and grab a drink / eat. Best pizzas in town to be honest. Beers are good too.
Food was delicious. Waitress was very inviting !!!
Excellent beer and food!
This is a a place, or should I say THE place to go for a great time. The food is awesome, and the beer is better....stop reading this and go! Now!
Casual and comfortable, great service, good food, good prices
Wonderful place very inviting, great menu, friendly staff, GREAT food! Highly recommend crossroads!
So nice to have a diffrent menu. ....Great food fantastic beer love the place...NOT you typical meat and potatoes place.....nice to see a restaurant that makes its own place with in a wold of conformity and chains.....thanks for thanks he wonderful change......cheers
Excellent selection of beverages. Food is very tasty.
Awesome food and waitresses very friendly
Incredible service, amazing atmosphere, and great beer! Found the first beer I actually like not just tolerate.
Awesome food..
The food was good. The beer was good. The service was good. The location was good. FYI a pint here means 20 oz. Not 16 oz.
Great atmosphere, service, beverages and food
Very good selection of beers and food. The pizza was very good, however it comes with a pizza cutter... was a bit difficult to cut the pizza on a non-flat plate. Staff very friendly!
What a wonderful new eatery for Prince George! I love that it is family friendly, yet is a grown up experience and atmosphere. The pizza crusts are to die for, and the beer is outstanding. And the kids absolutely loved the toasted s'mores dessert!
Just got back to my hotel (Ramada on George St) it is located directly next to the hotel and was super convenient. Environment in the restaurant was good. Waitresses were friendly. Had the Gnocchi which was quite decent. It actually tatsted like potato making me think it’s actually made in-house. I had initially asked for a regular pub style burger but wa stood that they don’t have burgers! There’s a cauliflower burger on their menu (for $19 if you plan on not paying your mortgage next month) but that’s it. To me, not having a plain old burger and fries or salad (which is cheap to produce with relatively good return) at a place that sells beer as their primary beverage, isn’t exactly a good business plan to make money. Just saying.
Amazing beer. Excellent food. Try the IPA's.
do not recommend
Love this place! It’s a must stop every time I’m in Prince George. Great beer and amazing pizza. I’ll be thinking about the Off The Grid pizza until I’m in town again. It might very well be the best pizza I’ve ever had. The patio space and decor are also awesome. It’s a pretty easy place to enjoy. If you’re in PG or just passing through it’s a spot you won’t want to miss.
Lots of brew on tap. I started my odyssey intending to drink all them in full man sized mugs, then when a hipster told me he had already "pounded" all of them down, I found out about their "sampler shots" for the weak of heart (p****y), so unfortunately I heard "last call" before I got through the selection. So I think It only gets better.
The pizza is amazing.... looking for that perfect slice size? It comes out with a cutter and uncut... the beer is definitely worth sampling ... I happened to run the gauntlet of them... I'll come back everytime I'm in Prince George !
Love the atmosphere and the beer was yummy.
I live in Vancouver. Was visiting in PG. Ron and Joel gave outstanding customer service! Will definitely be back when I'm in town again in a few weeks ..
Good service, good beer, and great food!
I came down to PG in September to do my wedding dress shopping. My mother, MOH and I were staying at the Ramada, across the street. We stayed for a 3 day weekend, and ended up here each of the three days. One of the hosts, I wish that I had gotten her name, was AWESOME. She was happy, had a good sense of humor and consistently busy. On my first night there, I was by myself, as I arrived an hour before my family. I sat at the bar and had a butternut squash soup. It was amazing, with just a hint of spice, it was well rounded! The host sat next to me at the bar when she was finished her shift and we chatted a bit. I was working on my wedding planning and we talked a bit about that and her studies. The second night, the host recognized me, which was very nice, considering she had only met me once! Our little group came here for dinner, tried a few of the pizzas and several of the beers. All were quite good. Our Server was a little inattentive, but all other aspects were pleasant. We tried the Big Sur Pizza and a few others. We came in the last time and had requested a table with power. They informed us that all of them were taken, but we could move once a table opened up and was cleaned. That was followed through. About 30 min into our visit, we grabbed the new table, and got down to planning. The server changed twice, but we found that with any of the 3 they were a little inattentive. In regards to the health protocols at the time, there was lots of Plexiglas, the sanitizers were being changed, tables were consistently clean, and there was provided sanitizer for the guests. Overall pleased with their respect for following health recommendations. At the time, face masks were also worn by all staff.
Great spot for lunch! Great pizza and panninis!
They had good selection off beers, the staff was very knowledgeable. The food was very good .
Great atmosphere, beer is tasty and food is bang on. There are daily specials and happy hour.
Not convinced yet
It was okay. My club soda never arrived. Still got charged $3 for it. Salad I had was pretty good.
best IPA in the world plus its local
Great staff awesome pizza good wings what more do you want
Awesome food goes with the fantastic food ..friendly knowledgeable staff. Great place to go
On the surface, it might be strange comparing a pizzeria to a brewhouse, but let’s be honest, it’s going to happen. They’re the only two locations in Prince George featuring traditional wood-burning pizza ovens (Betulla’s is notably larger). Both menus are dominated by dishes emerging from the fiery depths of said ovens. They both boast rustic decors, with Crossroads taking the extra mile with functioning garage doors offering access to the aforementioned concrete patio. Both are commanded by two of the best chefs this town has ever seen. Comparisons will be made. Infiltrators from both sides attempted incursion to glean valuable intelligence on dough recipes and cooking techniques. And even among my group of five, without prompt, they began discussing which of the two were superior. My stance is complicated given the differences that still separate them. Betulla is defined by its pizza oven. With Crossroads, it’s a gimmick; their purpose is in their pints…beer pints that is. Fermentation tanks occupy more than half the complex, all shiny and chrome, visible from the windows dominating one wall of the restaurant. Their pizza oven is nudged in the corner, almost forlorn. However, it’s in the menu where everything snaps back into the competition. Pizzas characterize both businesses, or at least for now, as Crossroads has yet to finalize their dinner menu. Seriously? We were presented wrinkled and stained loose sheets with claims a locked menu to be ready by June 10th, and we were almost two weeks past that. There was one dinner entrée, gnocchi. This place has been open since March. I had held out until reports spilled in that the menu had been set. Since I already decided on the review, I’ll offer that as a proviso, but the truth is, they’re open, a review is coming, finalized menu or not. As said earlier, the décor is impressive, with polished natural wood tables, corrugated sheet metal fringing the bar, and that adorable pizza oven sitting in the corner like an oversized Chinese steamed bun. A counter runs along the glass wall with uncomfortable chairs for people to sit, though credit is given for offering both traditional and USB power ports for those stopping for lunch. I tip my hat; that’s a damn good idea. The tables were obviously expensive, but they still resembled picnic tables. Two friends ordered beer while extolling the quality of the Crossroads brand. They never leave without picking up growlers. I don’t drink beer, believing it a joke passed on from the Sumerians to the rest of time. I found one brand at Crossroads that didn’t make me vomit, and that’s as high a praise you are ever going to get. It was called the Mother Heffer, which I couldn’t help thinking sounded dirty. As for the food, we opened with the share platter, a spotlight of all the other snacks, including olives, beer nuts, stuffed dates, flat bread, and biltong (South African jerky). Although all fantastic, high points go to the dates and flat bread. As for pizza, we oredered four, the Italian Deli (salami, capicola, garlic parmesan), the Angry (Grana Padano cheese and fleur de lait, roasted garlic and spicy tomato sauce), the mushroom (mushrooms, it has mushrooms), and the Off the Grid (chorizo, pepperoni, farmer salami, mozzarella, and aged cheddar). These pizzas all read and look, very westernized. There isn’t much at Crossroads deviating from what you’d expect from franchise pizzerias, though with considerable more gusto. Betulla still has the claim on fancier pizzas. Then there are the prices; when Crossroads first opened, they were on par with Betulla. So, in a fair match, Betulla would take the belt. However, since then, Betulla has increased their prices by nearly 20%, while Crossroads has remained flat, an important factor to consider. Crossroad pizza is fantastic, far better than any of the tried and tested examples offered by franchises and chains.
New to town so decided to check this place out a few times. Have been impressed. Friendly staff and bartenders! Pizza was amazing both times I had it. Also a few beers that I really like and I’m sure I’ll try a few more as time goes on. Only Downside was I didn’t find the tacos that good.
Good food, good atmosphere.
This was a wonderful place to eat and drink. We were coming through town with our 170 pound English Mastiff. We were tired, hungry, and didn't know what we were going to do with our pup so we could have something to eat. I was shocked that we were able to sit on the patio with our dog and enjoy the awesome beer and excellent food. Will definitely recommend to others.
Nice Atmosphere and good food
Very nice place.
Okay, I often don't give bad reviews and I try to be pragmatic but I just have to be honest here. If only like one thing had been wrong or if the meals were a reasonable price for the quality I might have just made a complaint in house or said nothing at all. I had been here once before over a year ago but it was more casual and we just ordered pizzas and appies. Last night my fiance and I went for a nice meal and it was not what I was expecting. I am not sure who chose the tables and seating, but it was extremely uncomfortable. I am a size 10 with a decent sized bottom, but the chairs shouldn't be tiny metal seats with no cushions that have metal rods digging into your sides to the point it feels like you'll be bruised. The bar stools also looked tiny and were made of hard metal. The table was poorly made and randomly turned around and had three feet so one person always had part of the table feet in their way. The lighting is also a weird choice as the clear bulbs kind of blaze into your eyes. Then when the food came my partner had a butter knife to cut his chicken because they don't have steak knives? And my blue cheese pasta was like a weird soup with prawns and gnocchi floating in it. I expected an actual cheese sauce with my pasta not a brown soupy thing The picture I am posting is after eating over half of it with bread included so imagine the amount of liquid there was for "pasta sauce". The prawns were tender and nice, and my partner said the sauce on his chicken tasted good... but it was tough to cut with a butter knife? . Then he ordered a brownie for desert and it was hard and crunchy on the outside and flat in the middle. The whole experience was just kind of weird and for a place that has an average price of ~23 bucks for a meal it seems like there are lot more actual high end places in town to go that don't have a super uncomfortable atmosphere that makes you want to leave ASAP and weird tasting food. I'm sorry to write this, but I had to because whoever designed and chose the seating/atmosphere for this place clearly did not actually even try it out themselves nor have they made a proper choice for pricing if this is what is served.
I Took my son there to eat and when I went to pay with a gift card I got last Christmas, the waitress told me they weren't taking gift cards. I told her I had no cash and all I had was a gift card. To make a long story short. I left the gift card with the waitress and had to walk out with the waitress chasing me outside to tell me she is calling the police. I have never felt so embarrassed..
Great staff, great beer, great food. We ate here three nights in a row during our stay in Prince George
Awesome food and beer selection, locally sourced ingredients, fantastic staff, and huge support for other local businesses. Absolutely killing it.
Awesome, local brewing!
Drinks are good, service was really good. Friendly staff. The food menu is quite a bit different from other places, nothing like other restaurants. I tried the jalapeno Popper pizza, WAY too spicy for my liking. They have other things there that aren't spicy though. I would still go back. Definitely recommend this place
I've tried it before but had a few things on my plate the first time I went there and didn't really have a chance to experience many of this breweries signature beers. We sat outside on my first visit and it was great, heating fires and lamps made it quite enjoyable and the pizza was spot on. I went there today and tried a few more of their signature brews and fell in love with their IPA. Haven't had one lately that would compare with Howe sound when I worked in Squamish. Atmosphere is good food is great and service and brews are top notch
Good craft beers and food, nice venue
Really crowded. Liked my beer. But they don't serve liquor. Just beer , wine, and cider.
Great pizza and food in general, terrific staff, very live room and I understand they serve beer! Can't recommend highly enough. Cheap, too!
Never disappointed, good food, good beer and good service
We had to tip less because we didn’t get water until the end of the meal. We asked three times with two waitresses. Service was pretty much non existence at our table and others. Food was ok (nothing special. Chicken was on the dry side). Future visits will just be for drinks and pizza at the bar. Forget getting a meal and waiting for the waitresses.
Myself and friends were kicked out of this restaurant because I did not have an ID while ordering food. I was not ordering alcohol or drinking. I was told that because there was alcohol being served in the restaurant, they could not serve us without me having an ID. Everyone that was ordering alcohol had ID. There were many tables with children being served with open alcohol on the tables and when this was pointed out the server he said that didn't matter. I have been at this location many times over the last year and have never been asked for an ID as I do not order alcohol. I reached out to them via their social handles to complain, they read the message but did not respond. Horrible service, and really disappointed with how they handled the situation. Would not recommend this place.
This place is great! Good atmosphere/ service, drinks and awesome food. Triple threat for sure. Definitely go again. So many things left to try!
Awesome! Great beer, food, service is impeccable, and dog friendly patio!
Clean place and great food. ❤
Excellent beer, excellent pizza!
Great selection of beers and menu items. Really recommend stopping in for brunch or trying the new BBQ options for dinner!
Fantastic Beer, good service, great place to hang out in Prince George.
Good service Good beer
Neat place with wood fired pizza and a micro brewery. Worth the stop for sure.
Cool place, nice beer
It's a real nice.
We were lucky enough to sample the menu and beers before the actual opening. The beers were outstanding. There is nothing like "fresh brewed" beer, the hop aromas are so vibrant. The staff were still finding there sea legs but that's what the night was all about. A great time was had by all!
Good food, good selection of beers
Great brunch!
Great food. Great beers. All of their own brew was flavorful and good. No disappointments. Nice atmosphere. Having a section where it's no minors would be a nice touch tho
Really bland pizza and highly overpriced.
Great beer, great food and great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone living in or visiting Prince George.
Love the food and drinks here. Service is always great. Seldom slow, but even when it is the servers are very attentive. Bit pricey but worth every penny
Their service has gotten really bad, it used to be okay but their servers are the worst I have ever seen. Their safety protocols are also very lax, not really sure how they get away with it but they seat everyone right next to each other, it is very unsafe and they should have a limit or better spacing like the other restaurants in Prince George.
What a great place for beer, bbq, and other delicious eats. I sampled 3 flights and loved their beer. From easy drinking lagers, to dark lagers and stouts, and hoppy beers they have you covered. When you walk into the brewery you can smell the BBQ. I had thr pulled pork sandwich which was top notch. Highly recommend for craft beer sampling and sipping
Super friendly staff and a delightful variety of locally brewed beers. Also, the UN pizza is basically a Reuben sandwich on a pizza and that’s something I’ve never seen anywhere else. If there’s any place worth stopping if you’re passing through PG, this is it.
Love their patio and it's dog friendly...having fire at your table is a nice touch too!
Amazing pizza and service
Great Beer and Pizza.
Did not eat here but tried the beers - were super good.
Beautiful sunny night to enjoy a Witbier 9. Great service.
Decent food. Poor service.... on more than one occasion. Different server each time. Order 2 beers at once so you don’t end up waiting with an empty glass.
Terrible place. I've been to a lot of nice restaurants all over bc and alberta and this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. The bacon was under cooked all the food was cold we waited for far to long for a basic breakfast when they weren't even busy. the server was more bland then the food. For the price it's not worth it go to yolks or some place better than this.
Great atmosphere, good food and good prices. Very friendly staff. Vegetarian options. New favorite for us
Awsome staff and great food. Always fun.
Great pizza and beer
Delicious beer!
Very nice establishment. They have an array of beer options and a couple cider options on tap. They seem to have plenty of staff to go around. One area they can improve on is having vegan options on their menu. They did accommodate with subbing some ingredients out and others in for one of the salads. It just saves hassle, shows progressiveness and effort to meeting all dietary needs, if it's on the menu already. As possibly the most popular bar in PG it's about time... pave the way.
We had a lovely time tonight. We're stuffed and will be back soon. Thank you!
Excellebt food, even better beer.
Had the pizza and sangria. Paid 50$ for a small pizza and essentially 2 glasses. Pizza was average not cooked properly. Nice spot but found this place outrageously overpriced for what you actually get. Wouldn’t go back
Micro brewery a all day, great atmosphere,I am a loyal customer for life
No customer satisfaction????
Amazing food and amazing staff and amazing place.
Great food, excellent service and friendly staff... an overall plreasant dining experience.
great food terrible service
Cool place. Great patio. Good staff and quality beers.
Wow! Beer awesome! Pizza is fantastic and the pretzel is amazing!
The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the waitress helped me choose the right choices for my flight of beer. It was a great experience
Our server wasnt the friendliest, got our drinks right away then she walked away before asking if we wanted any food. Waited 10 minutes before she came back to get our order. Got the pretzel which was sadly over stretched a bit chewy and the "dips" werent worth even using. We both got the tacos and the shells were dry and all broke on the bottom while eating so everything was falling out and everything inside was quite bland. Overall not impressed.
Food never disappoints! Service was great today and the patio experience makes the best out of the moody weather here in PG!
Good pizza and beer
Tasty pizza and nice selection of craft beers here!
Fantastic pizza! Off The Grid was full of flavour. The crust was the best I've ever had. Tracey at the bar was friendly and informative. Some of the beers (free wee samples) were very hoppy. A bit too much for myself but if you like that then come here. A neat open concept eating area with large windows into the brewery.
The pizza here is out of this world, the beer on tap is phenomenal. After a long day of working outside at -35 this places is like a beacon in the dark. I would very highly recommend this place.
Came for drinks in the afternoon liked the Menu came back at 730 pm no mains available ???? ordered Spinach salad was that or pizza would not recommend it was saturated in Balsamic dressing ???? too much recked the salad
Great staff. Great brewed beer. Good prices
Great beer, great atmosphere, and great food (so far, I hear more is coming!). The service was a little slow and the growler fills come up a little short, but understandably they've just recently opened and have a few kinks to work out. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. I just moved back to Prince George after being gone 10 years and Crossroads is definitely a fantastic addition to the city's pub culture!
Delicious food, tasty craft beers, selection of board games. A bit pricey but great for a treat.
Friendly knowledgeable staff, good beer, cool atmosphere!
Nice place. Good atmosphere, servers were friendly, but small portions for food. They have a variety of beer, however they may not appeal to everyone's tastes.
Awesome beer, food and service!
New BBQ menu was delicious!
Good food and good beer. I felt safe going here during Covid 19. Lots of hand sanitizer and waitresses and all staff wearing a mask.
terrible
Cant stand being in there more than 2 minutes to fill growler. Way too loud. Everyone screaming over everyones echo. Unbearable. Surprised waiters dont need hearing aids. 2 stars because they do have good beer for sale in a can at a quiet liquor store. Get some sound pannels
The beer was good, more or less what you would expect from this kind of place, but the service was excessively rude and unfriendly. Walked in just before 9 and the waitress obviously wasn't happy to see us, despite the fact that the place advertised that it closes at 11. Had a friend meet us there at Around 9:30 she told us that they were closing an hour early that night, no signage to indicate that was the case, no mention beforehand. Friend tried to order the ribs, was told quite abruptly that they were done serving entrees for the night, again with no prior indication this was the case. The waitress walked away just as he was telling her that he would like a pizza then returned 10 minutes later. The beer and the overall look and feel of the place were good enough that I will consider going back, but if that waitress is working that night I will happily turn around and back out the door.
Love the venue, food variety and drinks, pretty good staff some should be trained more but overall vibes great for PG!
Enjoyable atmosphere, good selection of beer and the pizza was tasty. Looking forward to the mains which are coming soon!
Impressed with the new smokehouse options. I had a sliced brisket with beans, slaw and corn bread. The meat fell apart in my mouth and was layered in delicate smokey flavor notes. The corn bread could have had a side of butter available. The slaw was standard. And the beans were a bonus highlight to the meal.
Food was amazing, beer was amazing.
Same good food and vibe as always.
Great pizza and stout beer!
Incredible craft beer, and incredible pizza!! There are great vegetarian options on the menu alongside the meat lovers feast. Staff are fantastic and it is really conviently located downtown. This spot is a must stop if you are in town visiting PG like I was.
Good beer and petzel
Good brews and pizza. Good quality ingredients and a great atmosphere for hanging out. They have been quite a few games and a patio for the nice weather. Solid go to place for a casual date or lunch meeting.
This a great place. Nice patio, really good service and the beers are delicious.
Service was excellent. The eggs Benedict wasn't as good as I had hoped.
Best place to eat and drink. Love to go there every day.
Food was good Acoustics a little noisy in there considering there was not a lot of people at the time great selection of beers
The beer selection is plentiful. But of almost equal importance is the pizza, which is very tasty and not ridiculously overpriced.
Had the wheat beer, it was amazing! Ordered the pretzel, so tasty, tender and baked to profection! Also ordered the Margaritaville pizza, it was great as well, but oddly it didn't come precut, but came with a dull pizza wheel cutter. The pizza was on a ceramic plate, so it was quite awkward to cut, to say the least. Also ordered brisket sandwich, was very disappointed in that choice, was not brisket but dried out roast beef. The bbq sauce was served on the side and quite tasty. The beans were good, and the creamy coleslaw was flavorless. The atmosphere was great and the server staff was top notch!
Went in the today for lunch with friends from work. Very inviting place with excellent staff. The food was delicious. Recommend the real crab, artichoke spinach melt along with their tomato soup. Everyone loved their food & drinks. If you haven’t been you’re missing out.
They even allow dogs on the patio. Awesome, unique food.
Loved it. Really good food worth the money! Really nice staff, loved her.
Not very good food
All seating is first come first served, so it took a few minutes for a spot to clear up. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but the cider was recommended to me and I absolutely loved it! Service was great. I highly encourage trying the pizzas, they are delicious.
Great bear every one I've tried definitely coming back
Really good pizza and of course good beer
Highly recommend crossroads brewery! They have a wonderful patio, the food and drinks were amazing, and service was great! Definitely recommend trying the pizzas!
Always stop for a pint when I am in town. Great beer.
Great atmosphere and friendly servers. One gluten-free item available on the menu, and it was tasty! I was told the pizza was amazing.
Great ambiance even during Covid19 pandemic phase 3 opening. I had the tacos. Very tasty although the tacos themselves split in two. The staff noticed right away and replaced. They have just switched to another recipe. WIP. Give them a shot. Their oat stout is very tasty.
