We were so thankful for this restaurant because it was one of the only ones open in town on a stat. The service was exceptional, the food was amazing and the view from our table was spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at the restaurant, we will definitely hit it up again next time we come to town.

We came in tonight around 6:30 with reservations. Overall the food was decent, but the customer service was some of the WORST I’ve ever had. I’ve come here over the years starting back in 2009 and I don’t know if I’ll ever come back. Our server must’ve been inexperienced because she seemed rushed and didn’t seem to care that we were not having a good experience. I did not get her name unfortunately. Our food took OVER AN HOUR to arrive and all we ordered was chicken wings, pasta and a potato skillet. Our server often had excuses for why the service wasn’t up to par and snarky comments to suggest we were told it was a busy night, which we were not told when we walked in. Rarely ever quality checked our table, maybe came to the table twice over that hour period to check to see how we were doing. Didn’t offer drink refills, the list goes on really… Had we known their would be over an hour wait for food I’m sure we would’ve gone elsewhere. If your excuse is that your short staffed, I would suggest limiting your capacity further on busy nights to accommodate your staffs needs to perform their duties to the best of their abilities. The staff didn’t even try to make amends for the bad service at the end of the meal. Getting the check also took a long time and all we wanted to do was leave. It’s fair to say I won’t be coming back and won’t be recommending your establishment to anyone.

Came out for date night with my wife and 7 month old. Servers were incredible; kind and attentive, really helpful with suggestions. My old fashioned was one of the best I've had made in town and the pork chop was amazing! This is our new date night spot for sure!

I hadn't been there in 4 years and heard that they renovated and changed the menu so I went to check it out. First time was ok and food was better than what it used to be. Second time reminded me of how it used to be. Waitress took forever doing anything including 20 minutes to get me a to go box when they were in the room behind me and she went in the opposite direction after I asked for one. The food was cold and the garlic in my pasta wasn't even cooked. I felt bad I even suggested going

Cold pre burnt brisket. Cold under cooked batter on rockfish. Hot pasta dish with uncooked garlic. Waited an hour and a half to be served our meals. And if you order the focaccia as a starter expect an actual cup of oil with a teaspoon of balsamic vinegar. Recently had a good food experience after avoiding the place for 5 years. But lightning doesn't strike twice, and you can change the floorboards and put new paint on the walls but does that really make a place any different? We should have just walked out we were waiting for our bill for so long. Got there at 7 left at 9 40. Won't be making that mistake in my life again.

A cozy place between Powell River and Lund. Just right after the bridge on your right. Nice ambience and great food and live music! We had the one of the best seafood spaghetti!. And their Shingle Club is very good! You gotta try this place!

Food is great if not clearly named. The fondue felt more like a dip and the Reuben was delicious but definitely didn't taste like a Reuben. Watercress fry dip is excellent. The service was great as was the view of the lake. Cons: Any cocktail that had any sugar in it normally had way too much sugar in it. They close arbitrarily sometimes so you will show up to find the place with a sign saying it's closed, but that might have been some reopening glitches due to staffing and covid.

took 1 hour and 10 ins for our meal. very nice waitress but didnt know how to make a basic drink. the food was very average. loved the atmosphere and enjoyed that part.

Absolutely delicious food. Everything down to the tartar sauce was freshly made and well presented, great portions, and the covid spacing gave us a lovely tucked away private corner booth, which we enjoyed. Very VIP experience from our attentive server as well; we made sure to thank her as we left. A real relaxing place with interesting decor, and a chill yet 'upscale rustic' kind of vibe. We didn't even sit on the patio, which looked lovely, but we were starving and the food was more than enough to make up for sitting indoors. Great experience.

Another find! Upscale pub food with coastal inspiration. We had the apple brie sandwich and the mussels and sweet sausage, both were excellent. Situated right on Powell Lake the views are great!

Really impressed by the staff here tonight. The place was really busy, especially considering it was Sunday. Food order was a little slow to come out, but servers were unfailingly friendly and professional. I had not one, but 3 substitution requests on my order and they got all of them right. Lovely view from the patio and great selection of BC beers on tap. Will be back next time I’m in town.

The patio was lovely. Our food was good but the wait was long. Our server disappeared towards the end of our meal. No coffee refill, no bill delivered. We had to track her down to pay.

Great Service and atmosphere. The new renovations make a huge difference. They have a different menu and some great new dishes. My only complaint is that the clam chowder is no longer on the menu ????

Came in for my Grandmother's Birthday (89) with family. Food took just over an hour, which is fine. Waitress was absolutely ???? awesome. But the crowd in the lower area were completely disruptive and in turn we did not enjoy even so much as a 2 minute conversation. Atmosphere was just a bunch of screaming and hollering from the table below. Food was great.
