Found this little gem during a drive back from Cape Breton. Very friendly staff, and of course delicious liquors. They have a sampler where you get a small taste of your choice of up to 4 of their liquors, plus a cocktail of your choice, all for a very reasonable price. Don't be afraid to try the rhubarb gin, it's fantastic!

I'm in love! Fantastic gin drinks, amazing food and beautiful views! Pulled pork poutine, pork schnitzel with spaetzle with jager sauce, amazing! Local organic cheese curds from the dairy Knoydart Farm Cheese House up the road. Plus, the gravy is homemade! If you love poutine, you know that's important! Only negative is the porta potties. :(

Great products - like, definitely understand the international awards - but how come 3/4 staff members have such a chip on their shoulder? It's been a minute since I've been treated with the level of outright hostility staff here showed me. Might want to do something about that.

I grew up in beautiful Arisaig but moved away almost 20 years ago. I asked my sister to bring a few bottles of the maple vodka when she came to visit, even though I've never been to Steinhart's. Wow! Dangerously delicious! :) I decided to place an order and added the rhubarb gin, as well. I'm thinking it's time to move back home!!

The Schnitzel Shack Menu was great. Definitely one of the best Schnitzel I've had outside Germany. The gin is lovely and the live shows make it even sweeter.

I just had the luxury of getting a tour of the distillery and sampling many of the fine alcohols and liqueurs including "The Worlds Best Gin"! Absolutely. Frickin. Fantastic. And don't forget to try their beer. Clean, crisp and refreshing. I can't wait to come back and try more! And maybe even stay in one of their cabins overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Great location for a distillery! Stopped in whilst passing though on our NS trip in ‘018. Enjoyed the tour and brought home some Haskap Gin. Our family (big Gin fans) quite enjoyed this unique souvenir!

Great food,great atmosphere and friendly staff. Reasonable prices and great gin. Will definitely come back again. Very typical Nova Scotia distillery,it was fantastic. Highly recommend the Blueberry Gin and Fries.

The view is incredible, the cocktails scrumptious (and very inexpensive!) and there is food too! We’ve even looked into renting one of the chalets here to stay in, the atmosphere here is divine.

The maple vodka is a must! Fantastic operation, very friendly and let you taste what you're considering purchasing. As a family we purchased some of everything (for different households). Coffee maple vodka, strawberry vodka, blueberry gin- great combinations. They even allowed the kids to take look at the operation as this was the adult stop for the day.
