Went for dinner last night with four girlfriends and we were not disappointed. We got 10 sharing plates between us and every one was delicious! The food was fresh, flavorful and beautifully presented. Amazing atmosphere outside on the patio. Would definitely go back over and over.

Wonderful service! Excellent food! I had the Chicken Liver Mousse (my favorite dish that night), Cauliflower Fritters (perfectly executed, light and yet the batter was fully cooked throughout), Ricotta Dumplings (not a huge fan of cheese but I could see why do many people love this dish), and Pork Belly (slightly disappointed as I was really looking forward to this dish but the meat was slightly on the dry side). The service was excellent and they were super careful with COVID protocols. I would definitely recommend Stella's to anyone wanting an excellent dinner in Picton!

This is by far my favourite restaurant in the County. With an ever changing menu, of locally inspired cuisine, everything is delicious, presented simply but elegantly, and well thought out. And while Chef Leah always hits the mark, the service from Rosalie and the other staff members is first rate. It’s a funky spot, very relaxed, and never disappoints. Anyone concerned about how warm it is, or if their plate is hot might want to stick to McDonald’s. Try this place. It’s a must.

Really quaint, cozy little place! Food was delicious and unique. Service was great and the atmosphere was awesome including low tone folk music that totally added to ambience. The rabbit was delicious and the bo ssan was incredibly tasty! Was a great valentine/family day dinner date :-)

Food here is excellent. Great small plates to share. Lots of vegetarian options and meat options alike. Focused on local ingredients and eclectic recipes. Menu changes all the time, we have now visited twice and really enjoyed both experiences. Service is great. Wine lis is awesome. Focused on natural, organic wines from all over- local and international- a great way to try something new if you are confused just ask they can recommend. Don't ask for an LCBO Cab Sauv, thats not what the list is about! Great craft beers and a cute patio. Foodies this is a hidden gem of Picton.

We went on a Monday night and oh man were they busy! For a table for 2, we waited an hour and 15 minutes - but it was absolutely worth it. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful, and the food was absolutely amazing. We will 100% be returning.

Good vibe, great drink menu, food was tasty. BUT menu was limited and portions are small, even if you are anorexic. Oysters are not worth the price. The 'sharing menu' includes a fillet of fish which doesn't easily divide. Also, if you order bread (which you will want because there isn't a lot of food) they are very clear that they will not provide oil or butter... So BYOButter. Probably best to only go for cocktails and snacks! And to top it all off the server stood on my toe and didn't apologise.

We were so lucky as restrictions had lifted the day before for restaurants. Patios only and after a great afternoon around the area we decided to go for a late dinner. We discovered this place while not taking reservations was open for dining. We heard later from the chef that they decided only to open up at 730 pm and were short staffed. We were lucky to get the last table before the wait list started. So lucky as the wine and food paired so well with each other. Four dishes were perfect for us and we dove into each delicious dish as they came. Highly recommend when you are in the area to make this a stop. They not only use a farm to table approach with local ingredients but their menu changes frequently based on the ingredients they can get. Check their website for the current menus.

Favorite place to eat in prince Edward. First, the waitress Rosalie was super cool and friendly. Food is soooo fresh and creative and inspired. The plate with the beets was so impressive how much flavor they were able to put in just beets. A lot of passion in the little place. When we go back this is the first place we’ll go back to eat.

We went there for lunch during a week-end visit to PEC. The venue is small and also sells some food products. The food was amazing though. They have a Chef that is really passionate about her craft. We ordered a couple of appetizer/salads and two mains and all of them, without exception, were very delicious with excellent presentation. In fact, and after tasting the first dishes, I ordered wild rice risotto just to have another experience of the food and it was also amazing. The chef really has a unique take on foods, even salads and it shows in the quality and taste. This is a surprising gem of a restaurant in a small town.

We so enjoyed our February visit to this cozy, inviting spot. Loved the small plates menu---especially the mackeral cakes, mussels, and the short rib/potato take on poutine. Excellent service. Welcoming vibe. Good value. Only low note: two of our dishes were served a bit lukewarm. Suggestion: ensure entrees are hotter when served and/or warm up the serving plates.

We stumbled upon this place by accident and it was a fantastic find. The food was excellent and the presentation was spectacular. Access to their patio is through the alley next to Vic's. The restaurant does not take reservations and they have a limited number of tables outside. It does get a bit sunny on their patio in the afternoon.

Perfect balance with complex textures! Such a treat. We started with the endivesalad which was out of this world delicious - crunchy, sweet, salty and Smokey all rolled into an end I've heart. The roasted pecans just give it the hint of smoke it needed to round it all off. The risotto stole the show, creamy yet subtly fresh. Sweetness of the squash cut through the heaviness of the rice and the truffles still came through brightly. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Kimchi added the acidity needed to pull everything in and the saltiness of the bacon was gave the richness. Finally, the peach cobbler was a nice final touch to our meal. Not overly sweet, reduced blueberry compote to just drive it home. Overall, a must try if you're in Picton.

Absolutely fantastic food. Small quaint venue the truly puts the effort into making a fantastic dish regardless of what you order. Don't be in a rush as this is the perfect spot to sit, have a conversation, and sharing a great meal. Wine menu is impressive as well. Make sure to find this place well you are in Picton you won't regret it.

Inevitably every time we go back to the County we make sure to go to Stella's. The menu changes... The quality and execution stays incredibly top notch! I don't know how much you can trust a review on line but I will say I don't write many of these and I am writing this (if anything I should have ALREADY written one)! Located behind/beside the Bean Counter cafe go as early as you can. The high level of cuisine and freshness of the ingredients means the sell outs happen fast. Enjoy!

What a terrific place! We had a delicious dinner of shared small plates including a pate platter, ricotta dumplings, beet and tahini salad and duck breast with lentils. Pavlova for dessert. Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious! The staff and chef were all amazing! The restaurant was very cozy with a great atmosphere. We're looking forward to returning.

This place is newer, but they've already got it together. Missing it would be sob-worthy. They're essentially everything cool, without trying to be. They just are who they are, and it works. Team of incredible bada$$ women. Menu that changes, and is loaded with full flavour. Drink selection is YUP, and the overall vibe will have you feeling chill and content. Grab a bevvie and a few plates, you're gonna have a good time.

Anytime I have friends in town I send them to Stella’s and I know they are going to be taken care of and have the best food, service, wine... all of it is perfect. Leah is the best cook, so humble and kind, so remarkably talented. Rosalie is my favourite human in the world, her taste in all things wine is unparalleled and together they have created pure magic. Don’t call to make a reservation, they don’t take them, just walk right up and if it’s full get a drink and a bite at another amazing spot in town and head back for the main event. It’s worth the wait ????

We spent a long weekend in PEC. We are from Montreal and are typically blessed with great restaurants. That being said, this place was perfect! The food is some of the best, if not the best, that we've ever had! The chef considers every ingredient that goes into each dish, all the flavours are there for a reason and work perfectly together. Well thought out menu that is fresh and properly seasoned. Absolutley incredible!!!

Wow what a superbe restaurant ! They saved our night by trying really hard to accomodate us ! Even with covid-19 making seats limited they managed to find us a spot for me and my wife ! The food was terrific althought because of covid-19 choices were limited. I would recommend this place for quality of food and for staff who really tries to do the extra miles for clients.

I enjoyed dinner at Stella's because the service was great. Restaurant was very hot, uncomfortably hot! My dish, the gnocchi, was only ok; they tasted as if a lot of flour was added to the recipe and the sauce was watery and bland. Presentation of dishes was not appealing. Good bar selection and cute decor.

Fantastic experience. The food was the star. It's tapas style with different share plates. The star of our particular selections were the scallops on cauliflower puree, with a close second being the corn fritters. In these Covid-times, the only seating was a back patio but the service didn't suffer. They don't take reservations so get there early! Best wishes to the staff at this great restaurant.

My partner and I visited Stella's eatery while on a weekend trip to Prince Edward County and after looking around for a bit decided on Stella's because of one of the staff's friendly welcome. The patio is quaint but spacious with great attentiveness to the comfort of the guests. After being seated, Gillan made great strides to ensure we were introduced to the awesome food and drink options, even going as far to give some context on each brewery that they offered as their selection. The tapas were perfectly portioned with incredible and and robust flavour profiles, you can tell that the Chefs really put a lot of thought into the the dishes. Stella's was the first place we went after the restrictions lifted and it was one of the most memorable experiences we've had a in a long time, I would fully recommend this little gem to anybody visiting Picton! Big shout out to Gillan because he was really cool!
