My wife and I arrived at the winery and was greeted by a young women. Within minutes of us arriving and inquiring about tasting she became very rude, short answers and seemed disturbed that we were even there. I was looking forward to see what they have to offer but i will never return nor buy their wine.

This was my first visit to Del-Gatto Estates in Prince Edward County. A very nice surprise. The wine was exquisite especially the rose. It starts out like a rose but once in warms up it behaves like a red wine. The backyard patio was comfortable and pleasant. They had a three person band playing while a bridal party was enjoying themselves. It was a fun atmosphere. We had a chance to speak with the vintner and he was great to chat with. ????☺️✌️

My husband and I stopped in to Del Gatto on a fairly busy Saturday in September. While every other winery/cidery we visited in PEC that day were lovely, Del-Gatto was a cut above the rest. The winemaker was in the tasting room and gave a very thorough explanation about all the wines we tasted as well as a background on how they came to be. We took away a bottle of their Leon Millot. Although we were told it would be a lovely wine to sit for a few years, we’ve already dipped in. Absolutely phenomenal body to it & Del-Gatto definitely has one of the best selections of reds in The County. Will definitely be visiting again!

Loved this out of the way, winery where the ambience was easy and Gary was a rockstar behind the bar. I purchased the most wine here as we loved the flavour profiles and respected the hard work of the wine maker!

This winery is small but amazing. They have some really delicious wines and some beautiful sitting space. The staff is so kind and nice, even during this current pandemic. Ive been to this location a few times, and everytime i am greeted with kindness. This is by far my favorite winery in prince Edward country. If you get a chance to check out this location, check out the belle Luna wine. It is amazing!

We dropped in to Del-Gatto Estates on the the tail end of a small PEC wine getaway and it did not disappoint! Our wine steward was so attentive with us and knowledgeable of the history and characteristics of the different wine varietals. His personal touch added to the charm of this small batch winery. We received a truly personal experience which was lacking in some of the other wineries. Great work!

Great wine making with a unique selection! We thoroughly enjoyed our rather last minute decision to stop in. We had a great, knowledgeable and warm guidance through the exquisite selection of these hard-to-find wines. The Frontenac Noir was a completely new grape to us - and here the wine of it is made with such care. The vermouth style wines are ones not to miss! Thank you - we will be back!

We were really looking forward to discussing the different wines and grapes that your winery offered. Upon arrival the young woman working behind the counter was talking to another young couple and her enthusiasm had us ready and waiting for our turn. Despite the couple commenting that they had better leave she continued to talk about their bikes etc. Finally after approx. 10 min they left and her entire demeanour changed from smiling and chatty to sullen and incredibly rude. Questions got grunts or at best a one word comment. Other than reminding us we had to pay per tasting she ignored us and dried glasses. Needless to say we refused to buy anything. Definitely would never buy any of your wines and we have already informed friends heading your way to bypass your winery.. We had done absolutely nothing to offend or annoy her. While we waited our turn we had looked around the store and commented about the lovely cart and read what was posted .Perhaps the fact that we were older, well dressed and polite was a problem for her. We truly have no clue as to her issues. The lowest was a 1 star which is for the cart .....

This was my favorite winery among the ones we visited in PEC. They took the time to explain everything about each wine and chat with us about the way they do their work and you can see the passion they have for what they do. It was a cloudy and rainy day but there was still live music being played outside which was nice! We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. I almost forgot, the wine was spectacular too!

I love the wines from Del-Gator wineries. We have been here many times over the last few years & always find the staff very helpful & knowledgeable. It is one I always make sure to return to. With the lockdowns I have ordered from the website. I look forward to coming in June for a visit!!

We were in PEC last June and decided to stop in at Del Gatto since we hadn't visited there in our many trips to the county. The tasting was absolutely wonderful, the lovely lady at the counter was more than happy to chat about the wine and the whole experience was great! We bought two bottles of Pinot Noir and two of the Pinot Grigio. When we opened a bottle of the Pinot Noir at home it was horrible. It tasted like vinegar. When our friends opened the bottle we gave them, it was the same, undrinkable. The bottles of Grigio, however, tasted great! I'm wondering if it's because the Pinot Noir had corks while the Grigio had screwcaps? It was a real shame because we had so enjoyed our visit.

Server was lacklustre in the knowledge of the wines. Compared to similar wines in the LCBO their price point is quite high for the quality. Also make sure to keep tract of your own tastings as they have a 3 for and a 5 for option and tried to get away with only giving 4/5 tastings.
