A really enjoyable time. The food was excellent and so was the staff ( really funny and sweet) . Very intimate little cruise and a great relaxing atmosphere to see the sound. I would definitely do this again!

Took the Family on a sightseeing cruise. What a view, and what amazing Georgian Bay geography and Wilderness! I was amazed at all the wildlife and birds and animals you could see from this boat. The picturesque Georgian Bay pine Trees, and glacially carved red granite. The crew were extremely friendly and informative on what we were seeing. They really know their trade. The Chippewa III is a wonderful ship, and a stable platform, with classic lines, is kept super clean. This little ship is immaculately and lovingly maintained painted. I recommend this trip to everyone. When sightseeing, what you see and experience from the water is tenfold compared to what you see standing on a shore looking out. You get an amazing appreciation of Canada and the wilderness.

We enjoyed the cruise and appreciated experiencing a wonderful sunset. However my concern is that there was no safety instruction given to the passengers. Every other time I have been on a boat cruise, information on life jacket location and safety procedures have been gone over by captain and crew.. Was that an oversight? or regular practice?

Boat cruise and lunch at the Craganmore Point Resort. My first time trying pickeral. Beautiful scenery and I really enjoyed myself. They even allowed my dog on board ????.

Is was ok. You get what you paid for. It was supposed to be a guided tour. They didn't explain any of the site or locations along the way.

Rick Davey

Nice evening cruise. Would have liked commentary about what we were passing by and seeing.

Barb Anderson

The cruise itself was very nice. The staff were friendly and the captain was very nice and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. It was plated on the boat in an open area, and was cold and lacked flavour. The chairs were old style plastic patio chairs and the legs were buckling on them if you moved too much on them. Overall it was a little disappointing.

Everything was good, the boat operators/owners very friendly, sites were beautiful just wished there was some commentary about the area and interesting facts. One suggestion would be a prerecorded audio that can play as the boat travels around the lake.

Had a wonderful sunset dinner cruise. The food and staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely be back again.

have been on this cruse 2 times, once to henrys fish on the island, and the other time for sunset dinner. Both were great experiences and the staff very friendly and accommodating. I would suggest giving it a try if you want to get out on the water and enjoy what Georgian Bay has to offer.

Spend your money elsewhere. A friend and I booked the sunset dinner cruise for July 14th and a nearby hotel in the area (as we would be driving in from out of town). I was contacted the day before the cruise (by a person named Andrew) and asked if we were still planning on having dinner on the sunset dinner cruise. Naturally, I was confused. I tried to get further clarification on the circumstances surrounding the last minute change, however, Andrew’s aggressive attitude, poor customer service and inability to effectively communicate made me feel very uncomfortable with supporting this business. In such challenging times, especially for small business owners, I am deeply concerned for the owners of this establishment. With this being the primary contact for your business, I fear that this will have further implications in terms of profitability. We ended up taking our business elsewhere. I was later advised that this company was recently sold and taken over by new ownership. I believe this would explain the previous outstanding reputation and reviews which initially persuaded me to book online. I’m hopeful that the new owners will acknowledge the importance of great customer service, train their staff accordingly and make a better attempt to maintain the outstanding reputation that the previous owners established. Until then, I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere.

Cruise was the highlight of our mini-vacation! After nearly missing the cruise altogether ????, we had the best time, and the staff were extremely friendly, hospitable, and courteous. Would definitely recommend if you're heading to the area.

Went on the Saturday night dinner cruise this month. Loved it! This is our second time taking this cruise. Last time was about five years ago and just as great. Great dinner, drinks and service. Extremely friendly staff. We were worried because the weather was looking pretty scary all day. But it stayed relatively clear. Too bad we don't live closer so we can try some of the other dishes on other nights.

My wife and I went on the Chippewa iii for our 4th wedding anniversary on Aug 3 - it was a gift to us from the in laws. The sights of Georgian are always picturesque and seeing these sights on a cruise ship was fun - but I’d prefer to be closer to shore to see these sights. Most of the boat ride was in the open waters, so there’s lots around the ship to see from afar - aside from the little canal we went through and being close to shore as we disembarked and docked. The staff on the Chippewa iii were very polite and hospitable. They served us cut up cucumber, carrots, tomatoes, grapes and this incredible corn bread (that i couldn’t stop eating) - it was set up buffet style against the wall as you boarded. Trestle Brewery was there and as part of our package we also were served 2 (quite small probably 1/2 tall boy) servings of beer (choice of ale, IPA, or wheat). All in all it was a fun and intimate experience - even the other passengers were enjoying themselves and the size of the boat gave you the chance to mingle with others if you’re the social type.

Jill and her son Cpt Josh give a wonderful tour around the Sound and surrounding islands on the Morning Tour! Very hospitable, caring hosts! Kids loved: riding at the bow, moving around the boat to catch the views, having a chance at captaining the boat with Josh, snack bar, (bathrooms). Adults loved: craft beers, cold wine, friendly family atmosphere, well taken care of boat, tables in shade, stupendous views and great chats with Jill. Absolutely worth it. Don’t second guess - way better than packing into the larger commercial island cruiser. Thank you Jill and family!!!
