The eggs were overcooked , the potatoes had next to no flavor, the bacon was thin and lacked flavour, the sausages were equally bland and the pancakes tasted so awful that after I tried one I had to struggle to eat any more of my breakfast. It was also overpriced. If the poor food wasn't enough the server acted like we were inconveniencing her. I won't eat breakfast here again.

A small point, but a deal-breaker from my end: I don't get why they can't do breakfast until 12 noon on Sundays any more. Doesn't leave any downtown options other than Country Gourmet (too crowded) or Lill's - far and away the BEST breakfast in town - but where it's almost impossible to get a seat due to deservedly high demand.

Went in for breakfast, not one employee seemed like they wanted to be there, not rude just not customer service friendly. My wife and I ordered breakfast, my sausages were mushy on the inside yet I couldn't chew the skin, my eggs were not to my order in fact they were barely cooked there was still uncooked egg white in the center and the yolks were cold, which I can't figure out how they pulled that off. We both asked for no home fries but instead some tomato, which we each received one thin slice of tomato which wasn't fresh and was like eating paste. On top of all that my wife's coffee mug was dirty and my plate had fried ketchup on it. I really hope this was a one of situation.

Food was good, our waitress was very friendly and busy with a couple large groups stopping in mid-week so she was solo. We waited a bit on drinks and our kettle chips were forgotten, once they were ready we were done eating and the kitchen would not allow them out to the table because it was already removed from our bill. So a bit disappointed they didn’t correct their error. Still a decent place to go for a quick bite and drink.

Simple laid-back atmosphere. Great place to enjoy a meal and a drink while watching a sports game. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly but the service can be slow during busy events. Disappointed with the french onion soup though, the broth is packaged. Fish n' Chips was good.

The food good. Did not like my veal parm though. French onion soup good. Chicken parm good. Marinara sauce on well cooked fettuccini was good. Fried pickles great! Ceasar drink not good unfortunately. We watched one of the servers tell a blind man where he could sit by pointing. He struggled a bit but he looked like he knew the place so was somewhat excusable. She also reached over my food for takeaway and her armpit was right in the leftovers. We ended up throwing that out unfortunately. She apologized. Felt kinda bad for her cuz you could see she was tired or fed up. They're managing COVID19 rules well.

Upon entering restaurant, we thought we could smell something funky. Thinking we were possibly wrong, we went to wait for a greeter. We were greeted right away. The menu was displayed at the entrance and the person greeting us explained that they don't have physical menus due to covid. Perfect! We were able to choose our own table. We went to one table, it was dirty. We switched to another, it was cleaner. We went to the washrooms which weren't clean at all. The men's washroom was a disaster with no soap or hand sanitizer available. We ordered breakfast. My mom's bacon had a funky smell to it as did my breakfast sausage. The eggs, toast and potatoes were edible. That's about it.

Cobb Salad is big and full of delicious things, and their catfish deliciously tender and moist. The beer list is a little sparce, but service is good and quick. There aren't a lot of options if you want to eat after 9pm, but Brunswick is open a bit later, and it's pretty good! Big patio, too.

Was on vacation, ordered takeout. Really chinzy with the 7 dollar chicken on the Caesar salad, beef dip was ok, but lacking flavor and substance. Service was phenomenal, hence the 4 stars. Would not order again if anything else was open or they upped their food quality and portion

Went for lunch today. Ordered hot wings and poutine. Got six wings and they we not even hot at all. They were also very tough and chewy. Would of said something to the server but I would of had to wait 20 or so min for her to return to our table. Wasn't impressed with the quality of either service or the food.

Would give it 0 if I could! Super disappointed in our recent order of Sushi and the customer service when messaging about our complaints. We rarely ever get take-out but we love sushi and kept seeing such a great response to the new sushi offered here. We decided to give it a go and bought a fair amount for Valentine's Day as something special for myself and my hubby. I picked up and didn't check the food, came home and the most horrendous looking sushi ever, we hoped the food wouldn't match the taste but it did, it also fell apart horribly. Could not pick up one piece without it stretching apart. We immediately noticed also that the salmon was smoked salmon and not sushi raw salmon. We spent quite a bit on food we couldn't eat. Also the black fish roe was leaking dye into the sushi and made it blue(didn't even know it came with fish roe). I contacted and they were dead set that it was immaculate sushi and never denied that it was smoked salmon. I followed up with a message about customer satisfaction being number one and us demanding a full refund and then photos to prove nothing was at all what they claimed for food to be, they read the message and didn't respond. I then messaged again and they didn't respond again. What we got is absolutely nothing like what they show on their Facebook page, complete false advertising and double the price of any sushi place. Nothing was done to rectify or do right by us the customers and offer us our refund. I will never buy from here again. If you love sushi, do yourself the favour and do the drive out of town.

The food is amazing, great selection of draught beers, wine and spirits. Friendly staff, food was served quickly, and a great place to watch some sports. I’d highly recommend this place to go and unwind in Parry Sound. It’s a gem.

Not a bad place to have a meal. Pretty well maintained and is probably good to watch sports events. For breakfast though, they were super slow to cook the meals inspite the fact that they were really not busy. The food itself was a OK but unfortunately no more that that.

Seat yourself style. Wide variety of food, different international food along with traditional pub food. Prices are very reasonable. I shared the finger food sampler for $25 and was worth it. The staff was friendly and laid back. Lota of TV's to watch sports. Plus TV's in the booth. Lots of tables to sit, plus a patio.

Decent food, but stay away from the eggs Benedict. Packaged hollandaise. Also, hours on the door say they open at 7. Showed up at 8 and they were still closed. A person across the street told us they open until 8:30.

We were staying in a nearby provincial park. Came here to watch some football. Tables were sticky. I asked if there were any specials on drinks and the waitress said no. Right behind her was a sign that advertised Bud tall boys for $5 during Jays games. The Jays and Yankees were on a tv in the bar. Place was ok for a quick eat and drink but I was disappointed.

Busy and understaffed to be fair but waited a long time for our drinks after we ordered and then they didn't even give us the beer we asked for. When the bill came they charged us for what we ordered as opposed to what we actually got.

Half decent sports bar. Drinks are pretty pricy but the food is well priced. Portions were good for the price. Server was nice, seemed to try extra hard but I appreciated the effort.

This place is sketchy haha. We got food poisoning from here a few months ago after eating their 'buffalo chicken bites'!!!. My boyfriend thought they had a weird slimey texture too lol, but we weren't sure if it was just the sauce, as you don't normally go to restaurants being worried with the mindset about how spoiled/rancid your food is lol. Be Warned!!! We went here for drinks too last month with a small group, (hell NO we didn't get more food lmao) AND the beer was flat????. Anyway, the short cook was looking rough and I LITERALLY heard the waitress exclaim that he was puking in the kitchen, as she exited from there!!!!!! Get the eff outta the kitchen!!! That's crazy town!!!! I heard your waitresses talking about how sick your cook was!!!!! That he "ate something that didn't agree with him". Probably his own flippin' food LMAOOOOOO my god, real talk????. This place belongs on 'Kitchen Nightmares' I kid you not. Bring your barf bags folks! Lmfaoooo. Oh, and the hotel aka sketchy MOTEL attached to it is quiteeee the gem too lmao ohhhh what nightmares are made of????. Run people run!!!! *****The ONLY good thing about this place is the raven haired beauty who is a doll to talk to!! Keep at it girl!????******????????

Parry Sound does not have much to offer in terms of dining, most places are run down and non appealing, but the Brunswick stands out of the crowd, the food is great, service is fantastic, highly recommend

Highly would not recommend. Place probably has business only because Parry Sound is a sad small town with not many eateries. Fries were overcooked, fish & chips barely had any fish in it and didn't taste very fresh. Batter was super oily and tasteless. Gave us ice water, which tasted slightly weird too. Service was a little artificial, but at least polite on the surface.

Absolute disregard for people's time. Scores of people just waiting out in the scorching sun and no one even bothers to come out to greet or tell them what's going on. After 10-15 minutes most people in line ended up leaving. Good going brunswick grill..

Got take out. I had ordered chicken wings the hot chicken wings breaded what I got was plain breaded chicken wings that weren't even cooked properly I had also ordered a Caesar salad which was Brown worst experience I've ever had and it's really disappointing.

Nice enough place. Owner assured us that the UFC PPV would be on. As we were visiting out of town, we chose to close out our night there but were informed upon our arrival that we were lied to. Our server was superb and very apologetic. Unfortunate.

Very, very, very nice inside. My only complaint about the decor is that the bar area lights up random colors to music videos so it's a bit annoying of sitting close to bar. They have a kids menu and a good breakfast selection. I am giving 3/5 for the following reasons: service always seems slow at breakfast time, while the inside is nice... the outside is sketchy and the building needs some TLC, finally the omelettes don't blow me away. I would probably give this a 4 if I hadn't just had Orrs breakfast down the street which is superior in every way. I will need to come back to try dinner. The bar looks fun if you are doing late night.

It's a sports bar. The clientele is a little rough around the edges, especially in the evening when the beers are flowing. The food is decent for pub grub. The men's washroom is a total disaster.

I went to trappers for breakfast Wednesday August 1, 2018 with a friend. Talk about insulting. When we walked in the hostess and waitress looked at us, they hostess greeted and saw us to our table we watched the waitress go to a couple of tables. There wasn't many people and most had already eaten so she was mostly clearing the tables. We sat watching this for five minutes when a woman entered and asked for a table for ten. We still haven't even been asked if we want coffee yet. It took them another four minutes to set the table for them and most of the party hadn't even gotten there when the waitress started asking the three that were there for drink orders. I'm watching this appalled as we weren't even acknowledged (but were seen) at this point. I asked my friend, do you believe this. We've been sitting here watching her ignoring us, clearing tables (which can wait btw as the other customers hadn't asked for her to do it yet), her looking over at us every once in a while and now customers who just walked in are not only being seated and without the whole party there, she's asking for their drink orders and she hasn't even come over to our table yet. I'm not saying that this was a factor (but it sure as hell felt like it), being the only native there I feel that they should learn some serious cultural sensitivity or choose a different career. Nice to know that the Brunswick House didn't give us this treatment. When we walked in we were showed to our seat immediately and before we could sit our drink order was taken. The waitress was smiling and very friendly took less than three minutes to get our drinks and our order taken. The food was amazing the atmosphere was happy and friendly. The people were so easy to talk to and laugh with. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a really nice experience here. The whole restaurant was recently redone. It has nice large booths that can accommodate larger groups or families comfortably. Food is great and it came fast. They had colouring for my young children. I would go back again.

1st time visit to Parry Sound and saw a patio open and glad I stopped. Had Chicken Cordon Swiss with mashed potatoes and gravy, was exactly what I was looking for. A home style cooked meal that was delicious!!! Service was excellent considering COVID times we are in. Saw other fine looking dishes passing me by that makes me want to go back.

Hardly do I visit a place that deserves zero stars for the food but - wow! They don’t serve chicken, they serve imitation chicken. We were expecting buffalo chicken bites and grilled chicken on salad but got soggy pieces of soy protein. I can’t speak on any other menu items but if you can visit another restaurant in town I would recommend doing so.

Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent options on the menu for pub or healthy eating. Calamari was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice patio but also dine inside. A good alternative to the other touristy places in Parry Sound. We will be back for sure.

Walked in, sign said seat yourself, was very busy but lots of tables open. I sat for about 10 minutes when the bartender yells in front of everyone from across the room at us that it’ll be an hour wait as tho we were inconveniencing her. She looked absolutely miserable, I will not be going back

Normally we dont have issues here. But the last few times we have been (also with our kids) the food took a while to get to us, even though there wasn't many people there. Husband also informed me that the mens washroom looked horrible and disgusting. And terrible service from the wait staff. Also very over priced. Did not warn us that the drinks my kids choose wasnt a drink that was included in the kids meal price, yet it says pop on the kids menu!!! Charging us 7 DOLLARS TOTAL on their drinks on top of their already 7 dollar meals!!!Will not be going back!!!!
