I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal at this Boston Pizza. I had a 3 course meal, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. There was plenty of room for larger group. Our server Allen was very welcoming and was on top of delivering excellent service for our family dinner. Our grandparents were really pleased with his careful listening and compassionate take on them. A huge shout-out to manager Linda and chef Don. We are definitely coming back soon to this location

Abosultely abominable. Levi is completely incompetant as any level in terms of guest service. When one makes a reservation months in advanced, they expect the reservation to be honored. Regardless of anything you must have a backup system, and if you make a mistake, you APOLOGIZE, not brush it off in an annoyed tone as if a fairly reasonable request is completely incompetant. I've been to dive bars with better service and food quality.

Worst service I have experienced so far, sat there with my daughter for 15 minutes. Not one staff member approached to offer drinks.... after a couple a few tables further down were provided service after just a few minutes I walked out.

Pretty good food, all things considered. However, pricing seemed to be a little expensive, more than the atmosphere could justify. Lots of locals, including high school kids to whom you’d think a $30 pizza would be a turn-off. I guess at 62 degrees North latitude, fresh ingredients are expensive, you have to expect to pay a premium. At least they have big TVs for sports?

I've been to a few BP's but this one didn't seem to be very welcoming. The environment felt like it was about to close down or something. There was only one waitress on the floor in the family side, and they didn't seem to have some of the main items on their menu available. The waitress said they didn't have iced tea, then when asked for a long Island iced tea she said they couldn't make that either because they didn't have iced tea lol. It is the only one in Yellowknife, but it's not the greatest. The pizza wasn't too bad, just the sausage was a bit on the dry side. This time wasn't as good as the other times in previous visits to Yellowknife.

Friendly staff, but exceptionally slow service that is not on par with the franchise standards. It's literally one of the only restaurants open on Sunday. So there's no reason for slow service especially when this is a rather busy family restaurant where most locals dine out here. Food is on par, could be better. Presentation can be better. Staff are not properly trained by an experienced member of the hospitality industry.

This was my first visit to the yellowknife location, growing up in Edmonton Boston Pizza has come to be a place of comfort. ..... yellowknife lived up to my expectation. service was good. food... well that's where it got slow. However i understand in this new reality of covid, things move a little different and perhaps that includes speed. over all ... 4 out of 5 .... i'd give you 5 if I didn't almost pass out from heat in the bathroom.

The food was good but the server Kale ruined our experience. I don't know if he was simply racist or the fact that we asked him to change the plates he brought because they were wet after washing and still not air dried (an immediate fail of a major food safety standard in Boston Pizza). When told he made faces brought the same plates back by after wiping (another fail). He brought the receipt without asking, like he wanted to kick us out for calling him out. Boston Pizza should take food safety seriously and should not hire servers who do not understand the basic food safety.

Worst service ever avoid as much as you can. Paid close to 80$ including tip for two chicken salad meals with desserts and drinks. Restaurant called me back 1 hour later to have a second choice for dessert because they did not have our first choice (order haven’t leave the restaurant 1 hour later). Delivery guy showed up with the bags 1:30 hour later. We had the chicken for the salads but no salads... called back to the restaurant had to speak to 3 different persons to sort this out. Salad showed up another 20 minutes later. Asked for a reimbursement, manager was ignorant telling me they were not a charity organization and that I was only looking for free meals and explained me they were a « business » and a « business » sells meals and not giving free meals away. Customer’s service 101 training to the managers and staff would probably be a good option. Last time. Not the same since change of ownership.

I'm not big on sports, so, like, they happen there, I don't know if they happen good but they probably happen good? The ads are good to watch though and sometimes there's some weird stuff to giggle at while you enjoy your meal. Prices are Boston Pizza, food sure is Boston Pizza, so if you're travelling and getting sick of Subway, Timmies, McDonalds, but don't want to go for one of the more expensive local restaurants, this is a good, safe bet liable to have something for you to enjoy. If you order all the food items with Boston in the name in one day they won't take you to Boston but if someone notices you did that, it'd be kinda funny, yeah?

Very fast service, food is as described, and a lot of TVs in the lounge. The reason for the 4 star review is that the audio was not synced up to the TVs, so it kind of ruined some of the anticipation when watching hockey, as they were already celebrating a goal on one side of the restaurant, and we were just seeing the goal on another! Anyways, going to BPs in YK is a safe bet.

I had tried calling a number of times and got ignored by the staff. This isnt the first time this has happened and i am very disappointed in the lack of courtesy towards customers who just wanted to make a simple delivery order. I do not recommend going to them if you are trying to make an order for delivery over the phone at all or even if you try to make an order in person. piss poor service and piss poor attitude to your customer have left a very sour taste in my mouth. if i could give 0 stars i would because this is complete and total BS.

Expect to wait up to 25 minutes for a server to come to your table. Expect another 10 minutes for your drinks to arrive and for the server to come and take your order. Expect your server to ignore you until the food is ready to bring to your table, if you need a refill or another drink during this time your best bet is to go straight to the bartender. Expect something to be wrong with your order, or for your food to be cold. There is a 50/50 percent chance your server did not give you cutlery, you will have to go get it yourself as the server will not be back to your table until its time to bring you your bill. After all this, your server will expect an 18% tip (hahaha no). The only reason I keep coming back to this restaurant is because every other place in Yellowknife is just as bad or worse. The servers/management/city just do not care about their customers unless the customers happen to be their friends, or happen to be part of a large group. Hopefully they will improve but dont count on it. This review only apples to the location in Yellowknife, every other Boston Pizza is great.

Bring back the old management of this location! You no longer offer the ability to order online. Tonight I called and made an order and was provided an estimated pick up time. When I arrived i waited additional time before being told 2 out of 3 menu items i ordered were available. My food was ready and I had to wait additional time while other food was cooked. I would have appreciated being called before I arrived to ask what alternative item I would like. I am disappointed in that customer service aspect.

Pizza selection was okay but for a pizza specialty place, I was expecting more options. They do have the option to create your own pizza but the items you could include on it weren't even listed on the menu which made it harder to create your own. The beer I originally ordered was unavailable and my 2nd option was also unavailable. Nachos were a disappointment. I asked for ground beef on it and they added what looked like 1-2 tbsp of ground beef. (Not exaggerating. I'll attach a photo so you can see what I mean). It was very plain and had very little to no cheese as well. Once you got through the top layer, it was like eating plain nacho chips. The Spicy perogi pizza was pretty good and the Big dipper sandwich was also pretty good. Service was also pretty quick.

The plastic delivery plates, boxes and cutlery can be handed down at least five or six human generations. While staying in a hotel, my wife ordered a kid's mac and cheese for my 2 year old son and a pasta for my wife. We waited an hour, and when my wife called back to find out what was going on the person she spoke with didn't have a clue what she was talking about. She was put on hold and eventually told that someone tried to call back 3 times. Her phone was right beside her on the couch, ringer on and neither of us heard her phone ring and she didn't have any missed calls. The person she spoke to confirmed her number and then said that we just didn't hear it. Again, no messages or missed calls. This was by far the most inept staff I've had in any restaurant. I'd have also added that the service was terrible, but we didn't even get service. Now I'm dealing with a hungry 2 year old. Fun times.

Last night we order some food and it never came we were teated so rudley on the phone when we called back and pretty much called laires. So the next day i went in and spoke to Joe the manager and he was so nice he imedatley apologized and gave us our meal free including drinks he is a very upstanding man and made everything wrong right i recommend this resturant to anybody and Dusty is the best bar tender around.

Check out this local Boston pizza awesome food always fresh most of the time they're not super busy for The Rush at 4:00 so give him a call just a little bit before 4:00 and you'll get awesome food all the time. I've had great food here every other time of the hour as well but if you're looking to get fries or yam fries or any apps they'll come real fresh around 4:00

This etabishment is really hit and miss in the dining section. My latest round of visits have been a mix of great or not so. Servers change over a lot here. I have never had the same server twice in the dining section. I know management try hard here to get it right, they are constantly watching food come out of the kitchen, koto's to them for trying. Expect your usual fair here as per any other location in Canada. Payiing your bill can be a bit slow, trying to find someone if you needed something is not all that hard.

Ordered chicken mushroom Fettuccini for take out. The meal lacked basic flavour or salt or pepper and the any more complex or added taste. The look was as bland, lacks chicken and mushroom. I've learnt not because one franchise does it well the others do. I won't have an opportunity to try it again as I won't go back to this location. The pic is how they dumped the parsley over the meal. And it looks like the bottle one not a fresh cut. This is poor food.if I had seen it before leaving the place I would return it. However I only saw it when I opened it in the hotel. I wouldn't recommend here.

Depending on where are you coming from, you will rate it differently. It is like any other BP, with fair and friendly service. Looking at some negative reviews, I am not sure what went wrong. I had a very pleasant and beautiful waitress (Robyn). Coming from Montreal, it is the service I expect. So it is really a solid 3.5+ stars.

Average fare. Last time I was here our server misheard my girlfriends order for a cranberry and vodka and instead got her a cranberry and water. Figured out the mistake when paying the bill but they still charged for the juice and water which was still over 3/4 full. I'm normally a pretty generous tipper but I certainly wasn't going to tip extra on the auto grat if there isn't even the courtesy to remove the drink from the bill when it wasn't what we ordered and wasn't finished. That's standard restaurant courtesy. Not sure if that's policy or an oversight by the server.

Horrible service not just from servers but also the manager. We waited twenty minutes at our table, no water no sorry for the wait nothing. Three tables after we came in were served before we were. Very predictable for BP. My problem with BPs in Yellwoknife is I've had to deal with lots of errors with my orders. Deliveries often ran into massive problems. However, when brought to there attention they strive to fix it right away.

Our hockey team came in for a nice meal and it was anything but. They charged each of the 24 people $36 for each meal. Fulls price for caesar salad that had little dressing and nothing but lettuce. It was terrible. Full price for a simple pasta and tomato sauce. It came out cold and looked like half a half portion. We had to feed the players again back at our hotel. We didn't get water until 20 minutes after we arrived and no one got a refill. I like Boston Pizza and thought my hockey team from the north, who doesn't have a Boston pizza where were from, would really enjoy a restaurant of this caliber. I don't think you'll have any returning customers.

I have never written a negative review about a restaurant before, but our service was awful and I don't want anyone to have to go through our experience. On Wednesday a group of us went to Boston Pizza just before noon for a going away party for 2 of our friends. We arrived at 11:10am and the restaurant was empty, so we expected reasonable service and for the food to come out fast. Unfortunately, we experienced the opposite. Service was extremely slow (it took about 20 minutes before the server asked us what we wanted to order) and the food took an extra 40 minutes to arrive. We were hoping for a quick lunch. While we waited there was a metal grinder going off that made THE WORST noise. This combined with the long wait time making us late for work was quite annoying. There was no ketchup brought out for fries. The drinks were refilled once in the period of an hour and a half. And our server showed little care for giving excellent service. I'm used to decent service from Boston Pizza, but the YK BP did not live up to this standard. I hope you avoid this restaurant if you want a pleasant restaurant experience. *Note we call this BP's K-hole Pizza cause it's so slow.

I've been working in Yellowknife for over a year now and frequent Boston Pizza since I'm out of town and it was a great place to get food. This location seems to have an issue keeping it's full menu available on multiple nights. Even more so they aren't able to serve draft beer pretty frequently. Also seem to have an abnormal amount of fires on location too. Which is why there's no beer currently.

I placed an online order for fried wings. I received breaded and when I called I was told that they were out of regular and only had breaded. No phone call to ask me if it was ok or if I would like something else. I was told there was nothing they could do and he wasn't able to give a refund. The manager was VERY rude on the phone. He tried to speak over me and started to yell when I asked more than once for my money back. What kind of establishment doesn't allow their managers to give a refund? I have to go there the next day to see the GM?? I'm flabbergasted by this customer service.

Great place for families. Decent for couples. They have a decent menu and their food is great. Especially enjoyed their nachos, wings and artichoke dip. The waitresses are sort of average/good. Prices are decent for Yellowknife. The crispy potatoes are a must try.

Coming into Yellowknife from a small town, and hungry, looking forward to having a great BP supper; we were seated, however forgotten! There were empty tables, you'd think we would get attended to, but no! BP, you don't get a good rating this evening! My friend and I left!!

A lovely location overlooking the water front and boats. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Ordered two small pizzas and found both were lacking sauce. It made for a bit of dry pizza. Other then that everything was great.

I am giving three star for a server ..came for dinner with my wife waited almost 15 minutes for water and food order was almost 25 minutes later we decided to take it home . It was busy for one person ( server ) i can see her(server do not know the name ) frustration . Coming up from food industry I know the high and low of this industry . Manager and Supervisor has to jump on these situation . Cost cutting is not the way to do it ..better put some extra person good luck for future .

Apparently they only have one delivery driver so it takes well over an hour to get anything delivered and it will most certainly be a room-temperature soggy mess by the time it reaches you. The chicken parm I just ordered looked and tasted like a frozen TV dinner. I am truly baffled at how BP even exists as it has to be some of the worst tasting and poorest quality of food in North America. I propose we all boycott this “restaurant”. Overpriced. Overrated. Under-flavoured. *Side note: there should be an option to give zero stars. And to BP...please do not bother copy/pasting some generic response because nobody is going to waste more of their time going to your website to type the same thing all over again. There seems to be a pretty consistent story being told here and if this isn’t enough for you to learn from then it is just a matter of time before your doors close for good.

Waited over an hour for our wings. Watched as 5 tables that came in after us get their meals. Waiter did not show any concern when asked why we were not served as others after us were. The waiter carried on and asked other patrons what they wanted to drink or eat and then took other tables their napkins and utensils instead of checking on our meals. We never received any napkins or eating utensils up to this time either. Decided to leave as we were hungry and find another place to eat. When paying for our drinks, was not even offered an apology from our server. Manager offered us the wings free of charge as we were heading out and at this time was offered an apology for having to wait over an hour for a meal.

Waterfront sits Boston Pizza with inside and outside seating. We had beet, spinach and goat cheese salad and added chicken. For first time ever, I actually had the pizza...pepperoni but with extra cheese. Both meals were delicious and served with a big smile by the server. She seemed genuinely happy doing her thing. Washroom was downstairs and was modern and clean. Overall was quite pleased by own dinner choices. The place was busy so I'm guessing other people knew was good too.

We had a wonderful lunch here overlooking the pier. Beautiful view and we each had small or individual pizzas and they were great. Our friends also had salad and really enjoyed them. Waitress was pleasant and attentive and the ace is clean. We were late foŕ lunch so we were able to get some pictures of the inside and the view. A definite return visit is in order!!!

This is a more remote Boston Pizza, but it meets the standard for the chain. The food is good and reasonably priced. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is somewhat smaller than other cities, but well laid out and comfortable. I ALWAYS have a few meals here when visiting Yellowknife.

My girlfriend made an online order and was denied service because we quit with "short notice". However we would receive our schedule the night before our shifts (sometimes at 11:50pm) and expected to be in at 10 or 10:30am. A completely embarrassing place to work. Tables constantly would wait for two hours or more and often would have cold food. Always running out of things and tend to hold grudges. I do not recommend eating here if you have other things to do and definitely do not recommend working here as management have huge egos and no experience. I'd do less than one star if I could.

Terrible service, worse food, and even worse management, probably the worst place to work in town. When this store was sold to a larger company owned in the south, it went from bad to worse. The new ownership team doesn’t spend a lot of time at the store, and often allows things to deeply decline before any effort is made to correct problems. For the stint I did working there, I was overworked, poorly trained, and then blackballed around town after quitting. What a waste of space. Turn it into a different place. A Keg or something.

Service from our waitress was very good. That’s the only reason for two stars. First time we went it took and hour and a half for 2 pizzas. So we give them one more chance. Second time, colleagues pizza was undercooked twice, and the third time sent out burnt. When we called the manager she said if he wanted it well done he should have asked for that the first time. He didn’t want it well done he just wanted it done! This location won’t get a third chance.

I use to be a server here back in 2012, and our servers were top notch and we were ranked top 10 for the best boston pizza in the west. Now they are last mostlikely. Servers now have no regaurd to costumers, non attentive, and are very rude. I ordered a chicken ceasar salad and my buddy got a brute and wings a couple months ago and he got his in 15 minutes i got mine after 45 minutes. the server asked me why i haven't recived my salad yet... (shes my server) which means she just takes orders and expects others to give it to the costumer while i watched her flirt with some guy by the bar and txt and take pictures of her self on her phone... if that was anyone back in 2012 they would have a write up immidiately. All around i give this place a 1 star cause it wont let me choose 1/4 star. Fix your staff boston pizza before you go broke.

Sent back main course due to product quality, they brought a newly cooked pizza that was worse than the first. Servers were curious and kind, however the other side dish tasted like rubbish as well. Normally the pizza at Boston Pizza is decent, but I would have rather flushed my money down the toilet.. trust the other 1 star reviews and save your money.
