Great staff. Speedy service, even for large group. Arrived near closing, most desserts sold out. Fried-pickerel delicious but served with tasteless, boiled veggies. Good burgers but otherwise could boost quality/healthiness of menu items. Cozy and relaxed pool table/bar area. A good choice for the area. They try hard. ASL sign language spoken here.

Very causal homey style restaurant at middle of nowhere in Perry Sound, Muskoka! There are 2 sections: one section of entertainment, like pools and dart. Other section is very family oriented tables. Definitely good price to stop by!

If u go there while its rain in take an umbrella. We went there for supper tonite and there was 7 buckets catching water dripping through the roof. The water was splashing on to floor in other spots. DONOT order fish and chips.

Definitely worth the drive. With very few breakfast options in the area, Blake's is always a yes. Unlike most breakfast places, the menu doesn't stop until the day is done offering one hell of a burger, the best club sandwich I've ever had and french fries that induce mid-week cravings on the regular. The cozy atmosphere is family friendly but the chill cottage vibes are also cute enough for a cozy date night. Don't forget to grab a sweater from the retail area while you're there because you'll want to talk about the awesome food anywhere you go.

Great food great cold cracked canoe beer. Would of gave it 5 stars if the glass on the propane fireplace was clean. It was so dirty that it took something away from the beautiful cabin atmosphere. Home hardware makes a great cleaner

Had a great time with a large group of friends here! The food was great I recommend the French toast as it was delicious and don't be shy to ask for some baileys in your morning coffee. They love to please here!! As well the servers are very kind and take great care of their tables.

Honestly, I really want to go again! The food was really good and the prices were too! The classic cottage atmosphere and decor is charming. The only reasons it's not 5/5 was the building needs a little more upkeep, and the food took a little long even though it wasn't busy. But seriously, I will go again, hoping it all checks out, because the food and prices are great!

I’ve been a Memories customer for 25 years. Not since the pandemic though. It’s Tuesday July 20,2021. Tried calling several times to put a take-out order in for 2 households. No answer. An order well over $200. Blake’s actual website says they’re open Tuesdays. Google says not open. I really hope they can get it figured out with their online presence so people don’t get disappointed and end up losing customers. Because word of mouth is your best advertising.

5 people in the restaurant took 10 minutes to get our drink that's only because I walked out to the bar to ask. Hot roast beef sandwich smothered in gravy with no gravy and cold BLT with fries with a hair in the sandwich second time out with my hot roast beef was semi warm will never stop there again

The staff was very friendly and food was decent and well proportioned for the price. However, we found the sweet potato fries were too thin and slightly overcooked. The creamy turkey soup (soup of the day) lacked the creamy texture but was well flavoured. Would stop by again if in the area.

Try the Canadian Benny - you won't be disappointed. Usually not a fan of home fries but these ones were cooked perfectly and with just a bit of seasoning that I ate them all. Definitely a place we will be visiting again.

Had dinner there and we mostly enjoyed our meals the turkey club was very dry and the wings were small. Had breakfast there and we weren't as happy potatoes need to be cooked more, eggs were too runny for the most part , some of the toast was burnt, bacon wasn't evenly cooked and kind of chinzy in portion. Also I have a suggestion. If you are serving eggs Benedict on a crab cake please don't put it on toast as well. The toast would have been better as a side. It was soggy and not enjoyable at all. Service was great both meals and all in all we do enjoy going. Maybe it was the long weekend or the overworked staff. Will try again in the future.

Great job. 2019, Let's start by saying over the years, I have not always been happy with service or consistency and wait times to name of few. A few of these issues I read in reviews just now. Hard for me when the owners are friends but business is business and I work a food service job as well. Myself and 5 friends decided to eat there again last night based on location to a venue we had later. WOW!???? is what I have to say now since not eating there in over a year. Not sure if it's a new cook, menu upgrade or what but Blake's is back on my return list????. The server was fantastic! She retained all 6 orders in her head and apps, didnt miss one detail. The draft beer was Super cold????????Was 1 other table in with us so not busy yet but the apps came out quickly, hot and the serving dishes so fun????. All 6 of the main courses prepared are presented beautifully. Lots of food for the price per item. This location provides a cottage cabin atmosphere. Pool tables and perfect for a snow machine location stop. Looking forward to more wings, cold beer. Well Done ????

After driving more than 400kms from Soo, its a pleasure to dine in at this place. Their service is great, the food was delicious ????, while eating either you just enjoy the food or look around their interior design, so many interesting things are display in the wall, offcourse you don't walk around. Clean washroom, mask , hand sanitizer they have it all. You can even buy t-shirts ????????

Tonight we, as a family, decided to go out for dinner. In the past we've had great experiences at Memories of Muskoka so decided to go tonight. They had a turkey special that's a great deal with a starter and dessert. My Mother has dietary restrictions and was clarifying with the young server that it was very important that the chef understood. The server was impatient with her and cut her off. The appetizers were delivered long after the order was taken 30+ minutes. The two turkey dinner meals (that came with the appetizers) were delivered about 2 minutes after the appetizers arrived. The meals were ice cold. We sent them back. The two turkey dinners were then delivered again, before the 3rd and 4th meal were delivered. At the time of ordering I asked if the wings were saucy, because I don't like dry rub I was told they were saucy when they were clearly as dry as a bone. She said "oh I know what you meant and they are, it's just absorbed into the wings". I asked if there was some sort of BBQ sauce or something I could have to actually sauce them. She took them back and had them "re-toss" them in the watery sauce (a picture is shown of them AFTER she took the wings to be re-tossed). A very unpleasant experience in a place that we normally enjoy and normally have good service without the attitude. Then had the nerve to say at the end, for a completely uneaten meal, that she discounted it... Get the bill. Discounted $1.50 from a $25.99 meal that wasn't eaten at all. Disappointing.

I can honestly say I have never posted a review of a restaurant before but I felt i absolutely needed to do one this time. We haven’t been locals for a year yet but I can honestly say that we have found our new favourite local take out place! I have had the eggs Benedict twice now and both times they were absolutely delicious and probably the best I have ever had. Then tonight I had the Greek souvlaki dinner and it was amazing!! The chicken was so tender and the salad was fresh and filled with lots of peppers, red onion and feta cheese! Who could ask for anything more! Well done Blake’s Memories in Muskoka!! Looking forward to the next time we have take out!!!

A nice rustic experience that you would expect when wanting to dine out while at the cottage. Food is okay, but could be better. We ordered dessert and my kid's dessert (a lava cake type of dessert) came kind of broken up like the cake fell apart out of the package. When questioned on it, we only got a shrug. Sorry to say that it's one memory of Muskoka I will not savour.

I have eaten here multiple times at different times of day and different seasons...it is THE world's slowest dining experience. Once, we even made a reservation for a large party months in advance( for a wedding brunch) and they didn't have the proper staffing to accomodate. Children in our party were served very last which made for a long and not-so-enjoyable wait. If you wish to eat here, which we do because of the limited resources in the area, expect it to take 2 hours at least. We want to like it more...and we still come back. But it is frustrating. Food is good- home cooked style but it's hard to enjoy because you wait soooooo long to be served and for your good to come. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Washrooms are bigger stalls but may be difficult for some to use and access.
