Amazing quality! Both service and product is fantastic! I'm a newbie wine maker and they really take the time to discuss with you what you need want. If you have a wine you like from LCBO they can find something similar for you. It's all around a great experience. If you're a wine drinker this place will take care of you, and you will get that 30-50$ bottle of wine made for under 7-10$.

5 stars. 5 star service. These guys are top notch in service. You have questions? They have the answers. Recently purchased 2 batches of white fruity wine. Unfortunately, they started re-fermenting. I opened a bottle and it was bubbly, cloudy and not really appetizing. It unfortunately tasted a bit sour. Went back today to bottle a mini batch, and ended up bringing a few bottles to ask if this was normal or if something happened that was out of the ordinary. The manager was extremely polite and proceeded to reimburse/credit us. We chose two more batches and bottled up our mini batch. (I bought their bottles and sterilized them on location to be safe that it wasn't our bottles) Great all around service. These guys rock. Please consider this store to encourage local businesses and employment.

Just finished bottling my first batch of white wine..Wine station has it all.. Super friendly service, excellent product and and most efficient and helpful service... I highly recommend.. The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is delicious now, imagine in 3 months.. I especially like that I can control the sulphites that are added... I'm already making a new batch of red now...

The best BOP in the city of Ottawa, hands down. Family owned for two generations, they care about their patrons, and offer top notch products and service! Post COVID update. Was really impressed by the length that the team has gone to to keep everyone safe. Bottling stations are now in enclosed areas. Staff is very cautious with traffic control. Well done! They might need to add a protected queuing area if this goes on until the winter months, but let's hope it doesn't come to that!

Great family owned business with the service to prove it. We showed up on a Sunday to make or first patch of wine. Although it was busy, the employee who approached us insisted the owner would help us as it was our first time in. *enter Jason* Jason's family owns the wine station and he was very helpful and courteous. He shared his wine knowledge and even made recommendations of his personal favourite make your own batches. Even though it was busy he took his time with us and really made us feel at home. Recently we returned after our short 4 weeks wait to bottle out first batch. The wine turned out amazing! When we arrived for out bottling appointment, again the more then helpful staff walked us through the bottling process and checked in on us along the way. The process was quick and seamless and now we have 28 bottles of Italian Pinot Grigio waiting to be enjoyed. I would highly recommend visiting The Wine Station, you will come as a customer but leave feeling like family! Cant wait to start my next batch!

As a beer guy I can't speak in terms of the brew on premises winemaking aspect of things, so this relates strictly to brewing beer at home. Staff are very helpful, always willing to help (Although it is a small place, so if they're really busy which they often are it may take a few minutes to get someone to answer questions, but when they do, they know their stuff) Not a huge selection of stuff, but they have pretty much everything you need to get started with homebrewing. I walked in on a whim, and was walked through the process by Jason, who really helped me understand exactly what I was doing. They sell the Brewhouse kits, as well as a homebrew starter kit, which is everything you need to get started. Even for experienced all-grain brewers looking for something quick and easy, the Brewhouse kits make a quality home brew extremely simple. They introduced me to home brewing in a very straightforward, easy manner. Again, not the biggest selection in terms of equipment and beer making supplies but given that it isn't their core business(brew on site winemaking is), it's understandable. At the same time though, they have the necessities, and except for picking up specialty things while travelling, I rarely go anywhere else.

My husband and I received an ad in the mail from the Wine Station. It was just as we were discussing the wine for our son's baptism. I decided to call and get information. I spoke with Jason. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. His great spirit made us feel that making wine with them was the best option. We went in and received amazing help. They explained to us the process and different options available. We selected a Pinot and a Valrosa. We started the process and we were given a date to come back for bottling the wine. Today we went back to do the bottling. We ran a little late and the staff were very understanding. Mich and Jason assisted us, they were amazing. They help us go step by step through each part, teaching us and making it fun. Having a young child we don't get to go out much, so this ended up being a fun date. I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a high level of service in my life. You can tell it's a family business. They staff are happy, dedicated individuals who really love what they do. The passion they have was not only transferred to us, but all those who came through the door. This place is truly a blessing. I would recommend it to any considering making wine, beer, or champagne. It's great for personal use or for an event. Why pay $10-$35 a bottle when you can make it for $2.50-$7. This is definitely the place to go.

The Wine Station provides corks, toppers, and standard labels or you can have custom labels printed at a small charge too. I have been here a handful of times now, and it may be the best overall customer service experience I have ever had, at any service business. In particular, I remember Jason, Mitch, and Graeme, as well as dealing with Julie via email. But anybody I encountered was terrific They worked with my wife and I, very pleasantly and patiently, as we made well over 200 bottles of wine for our wedding. Everyone was equally as awesome when we came back to make a second haul for ourselves On top of all of that, the product was much better than anyone would imagine for homemade wine. We have already ran out of our sparkling wine through this self-isolation span, so as soon as we can, we will be back!!! One of the best businesses in Ottawa, bar none. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! I'm a first time winemaker and so pleased! I was apprehensive to make a batch as I wasn't sure how it would turn out and I suffer from migraines after drinking certain wines. When I called to inquire about making wine, Jason talked to me on the phone for quite some time, giving me so much useful information and explaining the process to me! He also mentioned they back their wines 100% and would offer a full refund if I happened to get migraines from or dislike my batch. I came in and made a Cabernet-Merlot batch (in the mid-price range) and it did not disappoint. Tastes just like the wine I purchase in store - for a fraction of the cost. I'm obsessed with this wine, it's all I'm drinking now. Everyone who works there is SO friendly and knowledgeable. I will absolutely be back to make another batch of this, and perhaps a white and rose too at some point! Really happy I decided to give Wine Station a try.

The Wine Station is by far the best place in Ottawa to make your own wine. Good customer service is hard to come by these days but here, they exceed all expectations. Their friendly and helpful service, topped with their exceptional knowledge of wine and great atmosphere make it worth the drive for me from the west end! I have made my wedding wine here and many batches since, and have always enjoyed the different types of wine I've made. Such a gem in Ottawa!

I Billie and my neighbor Meg, went into the wine station today to make a tribute bottle of wine In honor of our great friend, a neighbor whom recently passed away leaving behind young children. We were met with amazing, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Being our first time to make wine, Jasen went above and beyond to make sure we made the right choice for us. Then we met the other Jason whom helped make the process of making our choice wine a fun and educational experience, pausing to ask for our input. The entire experience was put over the top when both Jasen and Jason went out of their way to ensure we had the perfect label, commemorating not only our beloved friend but also the children, making a perfect bottle that will last until their future Graduation, and or weddings.
