You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is really positive, and it's based on a high number of scores, so we may think that the evaluation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they are pleased, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set feddbacks when they are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Winery is classified in the category of Tourist attraction.
We waited an hour and 10 minutes for the hayride and ran out of time to see the other attractions. Do not buy tickets for after 6:30pm. You will not have enough time. Absolute waste of $230.
This place is next level. The paths ways are well kept. The mazes are manicured and kept. The structures are well designed and super fun for rhe kids. The haunted wagon ride was awesome. The thought and expense put into designing the stations was beyond what I expected. The bouncey pillows were a great break for the kids and the food service area was clean and lots of variety in food. Pub style food mostly but delicious.
Good for several hours with the kids. The mazes are huge and good for the bigger kids and adults. Everyone seemed to enjoy the huge bounce pillows. The splash pad was a hit for the smaller kids. Be prepared for puddles as the ground doesn't absorb very well, which also means there are lots of mosquitoes.
First time at Saunders Farms, the first interaction for registration was so pleasant. They were kind and welcoming. Went during the day and it was entertaining. Pretty fun for adults too, even though they say it's more for kids. …
Nice place to hangout and chill with friends. They have a variety of activities that varies througout the year. The boucing matts are a must try if you go.
Staff and actors are great. We always have a fun time here at Halloween
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time but are non-refundable. It's pouring rain, the ground is soaked and we are out $200. That's not right.
45-60 min lineup for the attractions.. not cool. Other than that a great night out!
Not recommended . I came here for the spook feast most the things were broken or closed and we weren't warned in advanced and a discount wasn't offered. Nothing was scary . The tickets aren't cheap, 45$ per person and its far so gas is expensive. The scariest house they have was closed because of the rain/ flooding and our favorite dizzy attraction apparently hasn't been working for weeks either . The staff are wonderful as usual, the apple cider is amazing and only 2.50 but the pretzels are so expensive 10$ for a large pretzels is too much, and it was rock hard. I dont regret going but overall a big disappointment and I probably won't go back for Halloween . They had a lady breathe fire SHE WAS AMAZING and is the reason I dont regret going
Fun time for a couple. Surprisingly many adults there...in fact, there were barely any kids at night!
It's a sense of normal during this whole Coivd 19 thing. The scares were there. The screaming of me and my kids were there. Both my kids said they were terrified. Lots of social distancing. Lots of santizing stations. Lots of scares to be had. We had a tonne of fun and created some awesome memories. Thanks for the job well done.
one of the best places to visit with kids.. loved the 3 haunted items.. tractor ride was amazing… the price of ticket is way cheap compared to facilities they offer inside.. will surely recommend . i went during fall.. will definitely go to their other theme based events round the year
The farm itself was great, and the kids had a blast. My only complaint is towards the woman who was checking vaccine passports - she was extremely rude because we didn't have signal and it took my partner a while (like 2 minutes) to finally get service in the country. I understand that it must be stressful checking vaccination records constantly, but there is a way to speak to your customers respectfully.
Soooooooooo much fun. I went for the day time events and the night fright. Both so much fun. Only thing as night there are large lineups so make sure to dress warm and bring snacks with you. The line ups. An take an hour each.
It's really amazing and fun we have great experience for first time and will come again soon in next event ,thanks for making happy time in thanksgiving day
Fantastic experience. The actors are definitely passionate about what they do! Thank you for the safe and exciting attraction during this pandemic!
This is based on my experience at the sawmill last night... I was really disappointed and so was my wallet. After spending $90 for myself and 2 friends, we waited in line for 55 minutes, the haunt itself took about 5 minutes to get through, even though we were told it would take about 30 minutes. We were also told there would be lots of entertainment at the end of the haunt, which ended up just being 3 food trucks and some fires to sit by... The haunt was fun and scary but like I said, I spent $90 for 5 minutes and it was not worth it. I want a refund, honestly.
It was fun, but a little disappointing. Was so busy last night, only got to do 2 haunted houses and the hay ride. Spent more time standing in the crowded lines then we did doing the attractions. Definitely way over booked. And to think this …
Took the kids to fright night. Grounds and staff are excellent, highly recommended for fun family outing.
Beautiful place to take kids on a weekend. Lots of stuff for kids to enjoy which includes slides, bouncy castle, tractor rides, maze, magic shows etc.
Some of the food stalls were not open, as well as the attractions need to be changed up abit. Also found they had less actors walking around compared to previous year.
A great family day ! Only quip was the 50 minutes it took to get .... FRENCH FRIES. 40 minutes. Not even an exaggeration. It ruined the last half of the day. We missed seeing so much because of it. And even worse was that no warning was even given as to a wait time. In fact the staff member said ‘thanks, you’ll get that shortly if you stand over there’.
Great place to walk around and there was barely any line ups. We got to do every attraction twice. Great scaryyy time. I definitely jumped and screamed more then a few times ???????? The staff were amazing as well.
Overall my son had fun. The pedal cars are garbage. Some have no wheels or pedals. Some of the wooden play sets need lots of work. Also severely understaffed. There was no one looking after the Maze area so if you needed help you had to walk across the park to find a staff member. I ended up finding two kids who were lost running around getting hurt. Not stroller friendly.
A very fun experience! Amazingly well detailed for the haunted hay ride and the terror barn was a blast. Just a overall fun time!
We loved this place on our very first visit. Very busy, but worth it . I hope to go there every year for haloween season .
Amazing I absolutely loved this place. We came to Saunders Farm for the Halloween activities. My only complaint are the looonnng lines. We got there at 7hpm and left at 10hpm and still didn't get to do all the of the activities. They have Beavertails on site aswell as poutine and such and a big plus was the washrooms. With working water. They were pretty clean considering the amount of people that were on site. I highly recommend!
The place is nice, but... Nice: - Ample parking - Natural, no concrete or tar, lawn parking - Variety of kids places and activities - Tree house is fun - Discovery barn with various animal sounds is good - The puppet show is cool - The giant pillows is unique and fun - The big slide from the top of hill is great Ways to improve: - Wagon ride was nice. I see speakers in the wagon, but during our ride no announcements were made. If they stop once in a while and talk about things that would have been nice - Splash pad needs a little scratching and cleaning on the floor. My son slipped and fell due to slippery surface. - On an August 12th Sunday afternoon there were around 20 families in total. The farm was almost empty. The admission is pricey. There is no kids vs adults price. Everyone pays $16 and odd. - Lots of picnic tables but since outside food is not allowed the space is probably wasted; They should consider allowing people to bring their food. - The mazes need a lot of trimming and maintaining
It really is an amazing place. So much to see and do. Although, it's not really appropriate for preschoolers and kindergartners.
My almost 5 year old could probably spend all day at the play structures. They are awesome and so unique. I did not like how the rides/haunted houses didn't specify what age they are appropriate for. I was going to wait in line for one and …
We have visited Saunder's Farm many times and have never had a complaint. It's always a fantastic time day or night. Our most recent visit (Nov 30/21) was the best. I just wanted to give all of the staff a big shout out for an outstanding …
It was a good night out! It's hard to do a review after going to the Magic of lights in Ottawa. I know this is their first year and they will build on what they have. My advice is more lights and less spotlights. The fire pits were a great idea! Overall it was a nice night.
Lots of activities and we'll spaced out! Friendly staff too! Kids loved it and can't wait to come back at Halloween!
I attended the Saunders farm Christmas drive through light show. To begin, the lights were not even Christmas themed which is not too important. The second thing that was bad, is that the most of the decorations were on the ground when it …
Don’t go if it rained Everything was closed but the maze and the WET play structure. They didn’t mention it at the entrance, and when I asked, they didn’t apologize 1) Their excuse was (the puppet might deteriorate) there was noooo rain for hourssss. 2) the jumbo jumpers was (because of rain it won’t inflate) and the rain stopped more than 2 hours ago. Couldn’t they just sweep the water? 3) the splash bad (if u asked we could’ve opened it) 4) the water gem ???? slide ( again if we asked) ARE YOU WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO ASK TO OPEN IT?
We loved it overall. Food prices are gouging though 14$ for frozen burger and a bit fries. Ouch on feeding a family. Next time I'll bring or place food in the truck.
1st time in 15 years they have done a Christmas Theme. Lots of things to do for the kids aged 2 to 92
Very nice mazes and lots of space to have fun. Food was quite good. Would be 5 stars if some upkeep was done for some of the structures.
Booked an appointment for 7:30pm 2021/10/23. There were literally 500+ people in front of us at each attraction and they were expecting that many since they had crowd fences setup to accommodate and had per bookings only. We go out of the last attraction at 11:30pm and everything was either closed or closing. It was horrible and we all almost froze to death. We liked the drive through the year before, but will not go back after this experience.
Really nice experience... Got a few good jump ????????
My family had lots of fun in here during Halloween. Recommended.
Very nice and pleasant experience for Halloween! Definitely a recommendation for friends and family!
Great place for the family. Recommend day time.to not scare children to much. Night if you have a change of shorts. They make there own ciders!
Visited Saunder's farm with cousin and family who has 2 young kids. We all had a good time during Halloween month. Couple of attractions are very nice while others were not bad. Kids will specially have a great time in kid safe environment. …
I was obviously not surprised their Halloween act didn't invoke many scares out of my group and I as we are older. However I can see how younger kids would absolutely love this place. They also added Cider and beer for the older age groups as a bonus. The food was surprisingly decent as well.
So much Halloween fun! Excellent Covid restrictions and very well done!
Went over the holidays for the Country Christmas Drive-Through Light Show & Town Square Market. Loved it. Market access was free, but proof of vaccination was required. Store was open and well stocked, food was available on site. Lots of …
Loved it!!! There is so much to do from mazes to wagon rides. The haunted hayride even during the day had some scariness to it! Will go again
Pretty disappointed bought tickets for the 9pm entry but could only do 2/3S9, of attraction due to them shutting down before 10:30pm (and having to wait in line for 40 minutes for thé second attraction) ????
So much fun ! We really love coming here. The staff is very friendly, the layout is organized, with a good variety of activities. The entrance fee cost is reasonably priced. Its like a mini-resort in the country. The food is tasty and I …
Good place to have fun while finding your way out of the mazes
We went for the evening Halloween festivities. Lots of fun. Thought the ticket was a bit pricey but after we got inside we realized that we more than got our money's worth. They do a really good job. The haunted wagon ride was so fun we did it twice. HANG ON! This is NOT FOR SMALL CHILDREN. There were some there who were a bit younger but it's not recommended for children under 10. It can be scary and actors do pop out at you...some with chain saws. They have food and drink vendors as well as a place to buy a beer. Washrooms are easily found. We'll done all round. I'd go again.
Had a wonderful Halloween at the farm. Loads of decorations and fun to be had!
This was my first time at Saunders and I would describe it as a Halloween theme park. There's a good variety of activities for children and adults alike. I went during the daytime with family and there were lots of kids as expected. I can …
Had a great time at fright fest! The team did such a awesome job! Not for the freight of heart, perfect if you like a scare
Lots of fun! Not overly scary unless you do large quantities of hallucinogenic drugs (recommended!). Friendly workers and good food and drinks options.
Great place for families with young kids. Definitely lots of fun! My kids love all the atractions there, specially the mazes which are amazing, the jumping pillows, the unique play structures and the gem mining activity.
A frighteningly good time! Organized like clockwork, the lines to the scary events move quickly all things considered. There's plenty of places to sit for a bite or a drink. Dress warm -- it can be chilly out there!
My daughter and her new husband got married there on Sept 5th, 2021 after waiting for a year. Yes, they had to have a smaller wedding due to Covid but everything was awesome and they were easy to work with.
Super well done for ensuring public safety! The Fright Fest attractions are s amazing as ever - there are only 3 this year due to Covid, but they added more to them so it's totally worth it!
Amazing place. Great for all ages. Very clean and kind helpful staff. Cute souvenir shop and small restaurant on site. Highly recommend the tracker wagon ride. Will definitely return when visiting Ottawa in the future.
The one star is only for the hayride. My daughter is 8 month, and I double check with the staff to make sure she can take this car. The answer is yes. So I bring my daughter together. The driver drove very very fast. People can’t even sit firmly in the car. And there is no seat belt. The road is very bumpy and the speed of the car is really fast, my baby is almost flying out. My baby's head was shaken violently in the car. I have to make an appointment with a family doctor to see if the baby is injured. Everyone knows that the neck of a newborn child is very fragile. On the website they said perfect for the younger guest. But not really. I really think they should write that this is not suitable for babys.
My first time here was last night for fright fest and we loved it. They way it’s set up is so cool. Love the lighting and the ease of access to the attractions.
The Frighfest at Saunders was a lot of fun. Great attractions and more than a few big scares.
Good experience for kids under 12 years. It says farm but no animals or horses for kids to play. It's like a paid park with 4 redundant mazes, 1 splash pad , 2 Jumping pillow area, That's it. So please do not get disappointed visiting it.Very run down place. Not worth visiting.
Great family fun at Halloween time, lots to do to keep the kids busy and having fun
This is a very popular place to visit. There is a great deal of things to see and do especially for youngsters. There is a haunted village too. The wagon rides are great and very popular. It's a great enjoyable place to spend a few hours.
Amazing place to spend time outdoors with your loved ones or friends. We had kids in our group ranging 17 to 9 and it was Amazing. The grown-ups also enjoyed it and saw lots to do with the smaller ones. Great job Saunders Farms!
Went there last night with the fam! The pig house was pretty scary but everything else was pretty fun. I recommend Saunders Farm for either a Date night, or even just with your friends and family!
I went there today with my 1.5 yr old and we had a blast! Early morning is definitely a good time to go, we had the 9-11am slot and arrived at 9am along with a good number of families but tons of room for everyone. Waited maybe 5 min for a …
Always a great trip to the farm. Took our son for the first time, and he had a blast.
Was ok but it as great as before. They have a zip line but costs 15$. The barn is also smaller now.
I go every year and spend my hard earned money , but i won’t be returning in the future , it’s very unfortunate that they have decide to be Discriminative to those who do not want to take the Vax, i can’t support discrimination and or segregation of my fellow Canadians. I am ashamed for Saunders Farm. If the vaccine Stops the spread of Covid then we shouldn’t need a vaccine passport to enter any business as those whom have had it are protected , and if the vax doesn’t stop the spread of Covid then we should not need a vax passport and it’s just discrimination. When society decides or assumes someone is Disease or infected with a virus ,It’s sets a very dangerous precedent. This is Unethical. I seriously suggest Saunders Farm reconsider this discriminatory mandate. I know i won’t be the only one to leave a review on this most recent announcement .
We try our best to visit Saunders every year. We even had our engagement photos done here. It is a wonderful venue run by courteous and friendly staff and they always go the extra mile for us. We purchased 4 tickets last year, but were unable to visit because of Covid. Their staff was able to find our tickets and transfer them to this year (2021). We got to sample their new cider which was delicious. Don't let them tell you otherwise but the pumpkin pie cider is the sweetest of the 4 ;). Looking forward to our second visit on the 30th. (Gotta make up for missed time last year)
First time visit. Very fun, lots to do we lost track of time and had a blast!
Why would you make up your own covid passport policy when it's not required by law at outdoor venue's. Seems a bit ridiculous.
Very good experience. Enjoyed different maze each one was unique interesting. Hey ride was good for kids.
It's definitely only a place to go if you have cash to spare. It seems like a big cash grab. With the amount of money they make you'd think they would lower the price so the average family of four can attend. Too expensive. It's a place for the wealthy.
Fun for all ages. Kids from 1-13 will love it during the day. Older kids that can take a scare or two at night for Halloween. Lots of things to do and the food is good too.
My review may be skewed because I went on a Friday evening with decent weather, so my group didn't really get to experience much. Tickets are purchased based on timeslots so we figured they'd space guests out throughout the day, but when we showed up the lineups for everything were at capacity. We got to experience two attractions and the decor was pretty cool, but we may have made a mistake by going on a Friday evening. Not worth the ~$50 in my opinion.
This was our 2nd year visiting at Christmas, it's a new holiday tradition with our toddler! We loved the wagon rides, slides, play structures, visiting Santa and the elves, and the beautiful lights! I also love that everyone visiting must be fully vaccinated. We'll be back next Christmas!
We had a good time at their Halloween night event but found that they had too many food places and not enough actual things to do or see. The lines were really long to get into the indoor shows. It's rather expensive to go at 45$ a person and we honestly didn't think it was worth it.
A really great Halloween experience with reasonable lines and some big scares. Really well organized and run. If you like spooky stuff, check it out!
A Well Worth Farm Visit! I know this is a rather late review since my last visit in 2016. I have come here in three occasions when my 3 kids were younger; 2001, 2005, and 2016. And all of my kids had a great time. Tried the spooky houses (daytime) as well as the mazes and picked up pumpkins for the Halloween occasion. On my last visit it was a bit chaotic; too many people trying to find parking and the attendants seemed as confusing as the visitors. Nevertheless it was worth the wait. See photos.
I was visiting my sister over the weekend, and I went on google to search for fall themed things to do. This farm came up and looked interesting, and was only $25.00 each, and not far from Ottawa, so I decided to give it a try. I was …
I contacted them via Facebook messenger and they responded within 5 minutes. This is during the busiest part of their season. They were able to accommodate my personal request last minute and fixed things around to make us happy. Thank you so much for the excellent customer service I can’t wait to visit you all again. Thank you.
Great place for kids in the day, bring your own pick nik food lots of room. The admission maybe price but once you've entered its worth it. Older kids will have a great time at night ( scary for little kids) Highly recommend, see you next year
It is an amazing place for kids. So many activities. The puppet show could be better and when you sit in front of that big stage you think the entire stage will be used. Instead, only the corner portion is the puppet show area. Make sure you bring some food with you. As far as I've heard from my wife , the washrooms stink.
Love Saunders, and all the mud last night wasn't an issue by itself. What is an issue is when the hayride driver goes so fast and flings mud everywhere and you get head to toe covered in mud. I had mud on my face, hair, and all over my clothes. Some of the mud is not coming out of my clothes, so here's to hoping that soaking them in tide will work otherwise I'm going to be very upset that what should have been just a trip to a haunted house ended up permanently staining my clothes.
I attended the Fright Fest of 2019 and they turned the farm into a horror land full of disfigured clowns, ghosts, a mad-scientist and mad-patients, and all other sorts of creatures that we only read or watch about. I was really impressed with the overall decorations, the characters and make up, food stalls and merchandise available. Entrance fee is cheaper when bought online compared to buying on the spot. Be ready for the drive there as well if you're coming from out of town because it's a little far away from the city and I couldn't find a gas station nearby. The road can be a little creepy with very little lights and everywhere you look is filled with crops and fields, especially at night. It is NOT an event for children unless you go there in the morning to visit the farm for local produce. But it is an event to attend to with friend and experience a little fun-scare
Very nice place! Apple cider during the fright festival was so good !! Just brings boots cuz it’s very muddy !!!
Did the drive thru Christmas lights! Everything was great just wish they did a better job covering up or just removing the Halloween props from the tour. The campfire was very nice beside the main entrance. Had some food options in the form of beaver tails and pretzels.
It's really fun for family trips during the day, especially with the younger crowd. Better for teens and adults at night. Lots to do and great food options. On the more expensive side though.
I have been attending Saunders farm for almost 15 years and have loved it. We attended the night event recently. Lines were quite long, with one attraction taking well over an hour to wait. They shut down all attractions 30 minutes prior to …
What a fantastic place to visit with the young and the young at heart. Everyone is a kid again while jumping on the pillows... We had a fun treasure hunt as a team building activity: so much fun.
Cover you shins if you do the mazes - they will get cut! Great fun!
Twas a great experience with the family for our first time visit. I highly recommend it for everyone!
Went to their mid summer night scream event and WOW- what a great night. Such a fun event especially after not being able to visit the farm last year due to covid. Their team stepped it up!! Got to walk through 3 attractions including their newest edition “Sawmill” which was well worth the wait. Also got to enjoy some delicious cider mojitos on their new patio, highly recommend!
We love this place and take our family every year. It's a fun evening and they keep the lines moving quickly so the wait times are actually not too bad. There is a lot of food available and places to warm up.
Saunders Farm Facebook page announced they will be discriminating against the unvaccinated, even though they're an outdoor venue which isn't obliged to do so. Messaged them directly, and commented on their post. No reply.
Wonderful place to spend a beautiful Fall day. New zipline was a great way to introduce my 6 yr old to this activity.
We went last night for the Fright Fest activities, and were sorely disappointed. I have attended before and had a great time but this year the lines were extremely long, about an hour for the Haunted Hayride and although we arrived right on time we were only able to complete the Haunted Hayride and the Shambles. Since the tickets were expensive, this was very disappointing, and we had a very long drive to and from the farm. They should have sold fewer tickets to better accommodate for the rush, since we felt we did not get to enjoy the full experience we were looking forward to. Very disappointing.
I really like this Fright Feast but when I take the haunted Hayride, the car is #9 I remember. I sit on the back right seat. The car is extremely bumpy and there is a nail or bolt on the side board, it cut my jacket and my arm. My jacket is broken and the wound on the arm is bleeding. I won’t post the wound picture (some readers may scared about blood. This is a 5cm superficial wound). Here is the broken jacket picture. Other than this sad story, the experience is great. I hope Saunders Farm could be more careful about the sharp things.
Visited the Fright Fest on October 30th. Our time slot was at 8:30pm, which turned out to be too late and crowded to be able to go through all the attractions and enjoy the spooky farm. …
Place is very nice, unfortunatly, beacause it was so busy we only got to do 2 activities (haunted barn and wagon ride). Our reservation was at 8 wich and still had to pay full price. So i would only recommended if you get early reservation cause there is a time to get in but not a time to get out so people so at a point there is just a lot of people. Otherwise its not worth it for the price and what you will be getting. Wich is sad beacause the place is very well maintain and presented.
It was a Fantastic event! Staff reinvented their Fright-Fest to fit in with Covid protocols and honestly it was the best time I could have had! So many jump scares, the special effects were top notch, each person really got into character! I'm recommending everyone go! I'm certainly coming back next year!
Thank you so much for an eye-opening experience. All of your Hallowe'en decorations and activities were top notch. Clearly there was so much effort and attention to detail put into the entire venue. Loved the area with the fire pit!
I am very disappointed that owners of this place introduced discrimination policies long before the province announced vaccination passports. This move is supporting segregation of Canadian society, and we should not support such businesses. I would expect from Saunders Farm owners to bring their own opinion if they disagree with such a shameful policy.
One of the most well developed amazing places to visit during the Halloween season. Shout out to all the people who made this one of most memorable Halloween adventures ever!! Lovedd the jump scares provided by the pig people, hayride and walk through trails.I have recommended Saunders to all my friends and family!
Avoid if you want to be covid safe! Saunders farm made promises both on the website, and on the phone about their covid precautions that were completely false. They also were not following public health regulations at the time of visit. When I attempted to contact them after my visit, they completely ignored me. Promise: The farm will only be at half capacity. Reality: Both parking lots were full to capacity, and people had to park on the street. Promise: Visitors will be required to show proof of vaccination. Reality: A small number of people were checked while most people simply walked around the checkpoint. Promise: Masks and distance required on the hayride. Reality: No mention made of masks to riders (about 1/4 of people wore them, some poorly). No distance was maintained, in fact even when all seats were taken they requested everybody move as closely as possible to fit more people. No mention of wearing masks for indoor attractions. Clearly Saunders Farm does not take the pandemic seriously. If you do, I strongly suggest avoiding them.
It was a lot of fun! The haunted hayride was definitely the best part. Cider at the Ciderhouse was good. Got some fudge and candy apples that were amazing.
On Oct. 23, we had a problem with zip line and I discussed with one manager who said you would contact me on Oct. 25 but till now, no one contacted me. I am so upset after I left message on your web on Oct. 25. Please contact me ASAP. The manager or employee is a lady who has my name and phone number.
We went for Fright Fest at Night and I was extremely impressed. The staff were helpful, understanding and did an excellent job maintaining and enforcing social distancing. All the haunted attractions were outside which was good for covid …
We have been to Saunders farm every October for the past 7 years and we have had a great experience every time until this year. In general the exhibits seemed not well maintained. For example, there was very little straw in the kids play area whereas usually there is lots to jump into. No kids were jumping and I was concerned for the safety of my 3 yr old at that spot. Also, in the graveyard, there was a large mechanical monster that didn't do anything when the button was pushed, also there below one of the coffins was a large hole with a blue tarp laying inside. The kids were all going in there but I don't think it was the intent. In the Coven, in final church type area, one or more of the black shadowy sitting figures used to pop up or move last year and this year they didn't. In the Haunted house, there used to be a large part of it outside with an inflatable obstacle course type setup which was gone this year. The Haunted wagon ride was especially disappointing as there were fewer interactive things and moving objects. In the tunnel, we just sat there but nothing happened whereas in previous years the lights/walls moved around us. Also, the man with the chainsaw only started the chainsaw but did not come out and chase us. Also the bumps should be filled in in the road to save the adults' backs. I felt the theatre show went over the kids heads. The mazes were super muddy and filled with puddles, again, regular maintenance leveling the ground could help. It felt like lots of money has been used to add new things like the zipline, which few were using, and the brewery, but the old standbys had been neglected. Honestly not impressed this year. Would not go back next year without discounted tickets.
It was very engaging for 3 hours. Kids will definitely enjoy the mazemiles maze was extraordinarily a(maze)ing and challenging for adults as well. A good place for families who have kids
FRIGHT FEST! Need I say more. This is the very best place in Ottawa to get your spook on during the Halloween Season. The folks at Saunder's Farm go all out and put together one of the scariest family fun attractions in the city during the month of October. Not to be missed!
Really beautiful clean and well maintained. Service is excellent and friendly. Best hamburger I have ever eaten. Really top notch food for a park. Kids love it and is fantastic for a family day and a picnic
We have so much fun everytime we come here with the kids. The only thing I'd say is that they don't do much changes or upkeep. The tree house and most the play structures look the exact same when I played there 20 years ago. It would definitely benefit the park to do some modernizing.
We went to Saunders farm. It was our first time going we live near proulx farm but I find it horrible slides out dated got cuts from the potatoes bag slide and pumpkin patch was horrible. Saunders on the other hand was unbelievable. From …
Dear Saunders farm, There are plenty of businesses that plan to refuse government mandates as Canada is not a place of segregation and discrimination. Saying you are ‘just following mandates’ makes you part of the larger problem at hand. Is there a line in which you won’t cross? Is there any point in which you will stop doing what you’re told and start doing what is right? You don’t have to be complacent and spineless. That is a choice you are making. Doing the right thing is never easy, but it shows everyone what you are made of and what values you hold. Please reconsider.
This is the place for a fun day with kids. We have been to Saunders Farm several times over the years and they continuously …
Disappointed by the experience as the Frightfest was clearly overbooked and had to stand in line for 40+ minutes and could only visit two attractions since it closed so early. I paid so much for this to only visit two due to the line ups, what a waste. Although the two attractions (hay ride and shambles) were great, it was incredibly disappointing that we couldn’t go to the other attractions due to standing in line half the time and the farm closing so early. Either keep the farm open longer, until atleast 12 AM or don’t sell this many tickets. Those crowds were ridiculous.
My family and I have been excited to go to the farm for this years fright fest and daytime activities, after hearing about the new rules surrounding proof of vaccination to be able to go, my family will not be attending. We’re very disappointed in Saunders, every year we gather the entire family and go to the farm. This year we will be going elsewhere. Saunders has lost our business indefinitely.
Great place to keep the little ones busy! They can mine for gem stones or bones, walk through mazes, as well as bounce on an outdoor trampoline. Plus it has gift shops that sell homemade apple cider with or without alcohol, stuffed animals, mugs, t-shirts, hats, candels, hand soap, body lotion, etc.
Great place to take the kids this Halloween. There are haunted hayrides, mazes and scary walks. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they are forced to restrict the number of visitors they can accommodate, so make your appointment early. They …
Amazing place. Totally worth it. The size is huge, the idea is amazing - so many activities for all ages. Definitely recommend for a Family Fin!
Absolutely love this place during the fall. Great Halloween setup with lots of things to do and see. The poutine is to die for.
The Christmas evening event and drive through lights is excellent! Very well run and everyone is super friendly and helpful.
Kids can have some fun doing the mazes and other activities. It's not the best farm we have visited, but it has many activities for kids and some for adults too.
