Well worth the trip. Amazing wine and hospitality. Good selection of wines that can't be found at the LCBO. As an added bonus, the views from the chateau are amazing and the owner has a train hobby and has built a track that must be seen. May consider hosting a function there.

Beautiful views located in Hockley Valley. 50 minute drive from Toronto. Offering several wines that you can not get in the LCBO. Taste testing and purchase is available by appointment and 12 to 4 Saturday with no appointment. Also offering samples and purchase at several local farmers market. Including Spirit Tree Cider in Caledon. The Pinot Grigio is the house wine at Harbor 60 restaurant in Toronto and Scotia arena to name a few. The Pinot Noir is a featured house red at the newly renovated Elora Mills Hotel. It feels good to support and shop Canadian ????????????????

Windrush Estate Winery is a wonderful hidden gem in Ontario's Emerging Wine Region. The area is very secluded, surrounded by nature and gorgeous views, so it really does feel like an adventure. It's hard to describe visiting the winery as it's the experience of it that really makes it amazing. The owners are so hospitable and genuinely interested in their guests, and they make sure you get the most out of your visit. I highly recommend their VQA Cabernet Franc. I am a red wine lover and usually opt for reds from France or Latin America, this Cab Franc is up there with my favourites! Definitely a must for nature lovers and wine enthusiasts!

Great wine & even better people. The picturesque views of Hockley Valley and specifically this winery were not undersold on their website. I reached out to Marilyn at Windrush Estates a few weeks ago with intentions to propose to my now fiancé and she could not have been more accommodating. Between the enthusiasm in every interaction we had, the want to put our needs first and the openness she showed in welcoming us and tailoring our visit to our special ocassion I can see that she had put hospitality first. People first. We sampled and purchased the Pinot Grigio as well as the Pinot Noir and as I have a glass of the Noir in my hand can say that it was a purchase I have not regretted. We have yet to taste the Rosé as we are now in possession of their last bottle, currently resting in our wine rack & ready to be poured. My now fiancé is very much looking forward to that one. We both are touched by Windrush Estates and can not wait to be back. From the bottom of our hearts Marilyn and Windrush, thank you

We went today because of previous reviews and were not disappointed. The owners, John and Marilyn were beyond fabulous! John gave us an amazing and very informative tour and tasting at the winery. The wines are next level and beyond compare . Then Marilyn topped it off with an amazing tour of the Chateau. WOW! They are so warm and welcoming and make u feel like family. If u are in the area we highly recommend you go...you cannot help but be impressed with every facet of this place!!

We went to the winery tour and were treated like royalty by the owners. The place itself is amazing with fantastic views. And of course the wines that we sampled were all excellent. I'm not a white wine fan, but their Chardonnay converted me. LOL. I highly recommend Windrush products, and hope more people discover them, as they are not sold in the LCBO. Cheers.

Camped here with Harvest Host membership, beautiful site in the middle of trails on 64 acres, bought wine to try later, the owners were gracious & informative hosts, love to come back in the fall to see the vivid colours
