I booked and paid for a tour for my husband and his friend about a month in advance, we received multiple email reminders and confirmations leading up to the tour. Then 3 days before the tour the company emailed to tell us that they were cancelling because there were too few people and that it ‘wouldn’t be fun with just 2 people’. This was very disappointing. If you are visiting the island and are not flexible on dates I would not recommend using this tour company, they are unreliable. Their policy states they won’t allow cancellations within 72 hours of a booking but clearly don’t have a problem cancelling on their clients..

It was my first wine tasting/tour experience and our guide Cam was absolutely the best, very great commentary with the best sense of humor. Definitely recommend him if you are getting a tour (three winery with lunch included, and obviously the ride). I didn't like any of the red wines and not all of the whites but it was still fun to learn about all the different wines, especially if you're with a group of friends!

I recently had a girls weekend in Victoria and because I had so much fun on one of their beer tours in Vancouver I booked again and it did not fail!! We had such a good time! Emily was our guide, she was so lovely, super knowledgeable, and just an all around wonderful person! We ended up making friends with everyone on the tour which made it a million times more enjoyable! We stopped at 3 breweries in and around the Victoria area and they were all uniquely interesting and had some of the yummiest beers I’ve had!

Ira and Brett Are solid dudes, great passion for beers , Penelope is an absolute limo. Boys are great dudes to drink beers with, great enthusiasm for the craft . Unfortunately the tour didn’t actually involve a brew tour and compared to what you get for the same price in Edmonton- the value is laughable. also Annex ale project needs to clean up their act though, root beer is not okay in a beer flight

Not great value. Expensive tour and underwhelming experience. The $135/person tour included 3 wineries and a light lunch. The lunch was crackers, cheese, and lunch meat. Overall I’d say Victoria Island wineries aren’t for me (acidic whites, lacking in heavy reds). The tour itself wasn’t a memorable experience. However, of course we were happy to be out there.

Cam was our tour guide for the Cowichan Valley Wine Tour . He was very knowledgeable and entertaining, which made the trip that much better! Lots of good wine and food, and we were well taken care of at Unsworth, Enrico, and Blue Grouse wineries. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect and romantic day on our private wine tour with Cam in the Cowichan Valley! The wineries were all amazing with our favorite being Unsworth we loved all the wines and the family feel. What a beautiful part of the province this area is to explore, we want to move here now. Learned a lot and very glad we decided to make this a part of our trip to Victoria as it was a huge highlight! Thank you for everything Cam, cheers!

I was recently on a bachelorette weekend in Penticton and booked this company for a beer and cider tour for our group of 11. It was by far the WORST experience I have had on a tour such as this. I’ve done multiple wine and beer tours and have never been so disappointed. We were charged $15 extra per person to add a cidery to our tour because it was a “farther drive”. We were in the tour van for no longer then 15-20 minutes to reach this cidery so definitely not worth the extra $165 we paid. Our guide sat down with us uninvited at every stop (sometimes in the middle of our group) and was even partaking in the food we ordered. At one point he even asked for a sip of one of the girls ciders. We were promised a knowledgable guide and they sent us someone that didn’t know what was going on and was extremely unprofessional. The company changed our start time from 11 to 10:30 which wasn’t ideal, but was fine with us. Our first stop was the cidery and it wasn’t even open when we arrived. We were there for at least 10-15 minutes before they came to set up for us. I cannot figure out how they are able to charge so much for a tour that we could have done ourselves for a tremendous amount cheaper by cabbing to each place. We were also told that we would receive a behind the scenes tour at one of the stops, which did not happen. There were no personal touches whatsoever. I emailed all these complaints to the company after the tour, asking for a refund of the $15 extra we paid. They acknowledged there were mistakes made and apologized for them but were only willing to give us a $25 gift certificate each. I will never use this company again so this is no use for me. They obviously don’t care about their customers satisfaction and charge an astronomical amount for essentially just a ride. If they made more of an effort to rectify the situation afterwards, I would not feel the need to write this review. Please save yourself some frustration and disappointment and use another tour company.

Cam was a great tour guide, funny and knowledgeable. Saw wonderful areas, small and fancy. Beautiful area for a wine tour. Many different wines available for tasting, from dry to sweet.

My friends and I had a great time tasting many different wines from several beautiful wineries, which was accompanied by a wealth of knowledge from our guide Cam. I have learned a lot about different wines and had would highly recommend this tour for any occasion

Our host was Cam and he was professional, well versed in wine making and passed on sound knowledge of the history of the venues we visited. He was a great host, went out of his way to ensure our tour was memorable. Our tour was perfect in all ways for us and I highly recommend this tour. The wine tasting was interesting and fun, the food was excellent, the scenery enthralling and an excellent tour driver and host.

Had a really great time on this tour with a few friends. It was a great way to spend a sunny day in Victoria. When you take this tour you will love the people at the local wineries like Barb at Enrico and Scott at Unsworth. We will be back.
