Worst hotel service. I ordered towels and cleaning supplies six times over the course of 4 hours. Because of self isolation protocols you can't just leave your room. Their food is terrible, me and my husband got food poisoning multiple times from the mandatory meals we get served. If you are not mandatory self isolating. Avoid this hotel because the service is horrible and lazy. Also the manager is no where to be found when anything bad happens in the hotel.

Chateau Nova is my go to place when I travel to Yellowknife! ✔️ Hotel is walking distance to down down. ✔️Good gym ✔️ Clean and up to date rooms ✔️ Great in person customer service ????The internet connection isn't strong ???? Phone customer services needs improvement. I swear everytime I call I get someone who is training and there are multiple mistakes in my reservation.

Staying here for 5 days was the worst 5 days in a hotel I've ever spent. The 1 star is for the room itself being quite nice as it was a suite but everything else I wish I could leave negative stars. The worst thing of all is the wifi connection it worked ok, but very slowly for the first two days. However, only on my laptop. For some reason it refused to connect to my phone but whatever slow wifi better then no wifi. On the 3rd day it just started to disconnect me every single time I connected to the wifi so I would literally load a page and it would disconnect and I would have to restart it every 3 or 5 seconds. The turn down service took until the 3rd day to get to our room even though I was out the entire day so they had plenty of time to replace towels, soap and normal hotel services. I've never stayed at a hotel that didn't turn down the rooms each day. The service here when asked is terrible too, I called two times about two different problems first was a request for an extra pillow, I was told they don't have any. 2nd time I called about the wifi and straight up no one picks up multiple calls. I will never be returning and will not be recommending this place.

The room is big n comfy with a small kitchen for you to heat up food or make coffee or toast. Bathroom is Morden n clean. This is the newest hotel in Yellowknife. Walking distance to downtown, but if in winter you wouldn't like this distance. I had bad one day morning awoken by construction site working next the room at 8am while you still very sleepy after night chasing aurora. When we asked the storage luggage service the lady only show us where it is n let us go inside n put our luggage, she didn't help at all. That's I surprised for a standard of hotel service item. I never go inside of luggage room by my own in my travel time. Unforgettable.

Very beautiful hotel. Was very clean and meticulous. The staff was quite friendly. The lounge area had great food and atmosphere. In a cold dreary Yellowknife weather being able to stay in this hotel didn't make it seem so bad.

Very very nice and clean hotel however, customer service is not the greatest. If it wasn't for the poor customer service, I would have given 5 stars. Front desk reception staff could be more welcoming, friendly and helpful upon arrival. Also, staff do not help guests with luggage. Would be good if the hotel had staff that actually greeted guests at the door when they arrive and provided some assistance with luggage. Would be nice to have this help while checking out also. Also, way too much noise at night time from people going and come backing back from late night tours. Got woken up one night and could not go back to sleep from guests slamming doors or hotel staff knocking on doors to wake people up to go on the tour. These tours take place during 3 or 4 am. If you have an early morning flight, the last thing you need is your sleep being disrupted. Very nice hotel....just not the best customer service from staff.

Very comfortable with a great restaurant and easy walking distance of the town centre. Amazingly comfortable beds. Bath tub a little slippy, be careful, I fell over.

Had issues with our room not being made up two days in a row, despite hanging the sign on the door. I spoke to the front desk staff about this but they were dismissive and implied that we did not hang the sign. Additionally, the hotel does not have any housekeepers in the evening. This resulted in the front desk staff giving us a tablecloth instead of the bed cover we asked for. The food at the restaurant was good, but for breakfast/brunch I would recommend the Explorer Hotel next door.

ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL I STAYED AT. RECEPTIONIST CAN'T GET ANY WORST .... Front office receptionist were not up to standard at all. After check in we found that our room was dirty and had a luggage left inside the wardrobe. The bathroom floor had hair all over the floor. We called the front desk and told them the issue. Their reply was, our housekeeping staff are all gone, it is not our job to clean the room ... and you will have to wait till tomorrow... That was not it, when I asked the reception to help me check the northern light aurora forecast she looked at me and eyed right back on her computer and said I am busy... and ignored me. I cant believe how this hotel is charging for this price and providing such low quality service or I should say no service at al ....

The location is very good, it is near to Independent (grocery store) and Shoppers Drugs mart (Around 5 minutes of walking). You can also easily find restaurants within walking distance. The musuem is also just across the street. The room is big and comfy. The staff is very friendly.

Hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from downtown. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Being 6'2", I often find hotel showers cramped, but this shower was very roomy. Food in the lounge was also very good. Staff were very accommodating.
