You have all the feddbacks of people like you who are purchasing the services and products of SIP Wine Bar & Authentic Neapolitan Pizza (Winery) in the area of North York (Canada).

As you can read, the average score it has is very positive, and it is based on a very large number of scores, so we can conclude that the evaluation is quite credible. If many people have bothered to evaluate when they are satisfied with the service, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to write reviews when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or issue...
This Winery corresponds to the category of Italian restaurant.
Went here for a mixer down in the basement area. Good atmosphere, nice and rustic but also warm. Food looked visually impressive. Calamari was delicious. Hors d'oeuvres were not. Can't give an informed opinion about the pizza because I had only a cold slice - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Best pizza in town! Great selection of wine and delicious italian food. Very recommended!
Amazing and authentic Italian food. The owner is extremely down to earth
Excellent food and atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and knowledgable about the menu. We went for dinner before a movie and were delighted with the atmosphere. They tried to seat families closer to the front of the restaurant and adult groups in the back which made for a lovely dining experience, and as a group of adults only we really appreciated. Would definitely go back.
More packed in with patrons than other local wine bars, but definitely doesn’t spoil the delicious food and wide selection of reasonably priced wines.
Italian dining great food and ambiance service is great
Great food paired with great service. Get the diavola pizza!
Patio seating is a little awkward if you get stuck with a table on the sidewalk but the food here is delicious. Servers are attentive and nice.
Good pizzas and wine. Bad service.
I go to Italy every year and in Canada I have never fond the same pizza, in till I went here. So good.
This is my favorite place to eat out! The staff remembers you and are very friendly. The food is amazing and not too pricey.
As other reviewers said, the various factors put together elevate the rating on this place. Price is reasonable. Pizza was very good. Service was pleasant and much faster than other places we've tried in the area. You might find a cheaper price or a slightly better pizza but unlikely to find a better combination of ambience, value, speed and service.
Fantastic tasting food and friendly personable service. Our first visit, we sat outside on the sidewalk tables, then asked if we could move to the restaurant patio area, as the sidewalk was a little busy with people and traffic. The staff were happy to oblige. We ordered the bolognaise with penne for my daughter fantastic and the waiter offered us a split pizza of spicy sausage for me and plain for my daughter, which was delicious. Recommended. Looking forward to my next visit!
I'm adding a picture of what you get if you ask for a pizza, 2 slices of prosciutto. Ridiculous.
Came here for some apps and a glass of wine. Was disappointed by the size of the apps and value for money. Charcuterie plate had 6 slices of meat. Calamari was delicious but also small. Shiraz was a great wine but slightly overpriced for 6 oz. service was good and atmosphere was nice just be prepared to pay extra.
Visited the restaurant for the first time on Saturday night with a group of friends. Enjoyed a diverse wine list, and menu without being too extensive. Our server was phenomenal and had a number of recommendations. The complimentary bread was delicious (I think I overindulged). Pasta was a generous portion and very tasty. Everyone in our party really enjoyed their meal. I'll be returning for a family gathering in the near future. Thanks!
We checked this place out after reading others reviews. It had all I could ask, good food, good service, and good ambience. We loved it. Pizza was fantastic. Will be back!
Good Food.
Arugula salad and pizza are amazing. Well, everything there is incredible.
Sorry, I don’t like this restaurant. I’ve been here twice; First time had fungi risotto and a pizza, it was ok, pretty good but nothing I would have gone back for, but I did go back a second time; went with my sister and Mom but unfortunately non of us liked it and couldn’t eat it ???? (Salmon with veggies and a pasta... salmon plate was very greasy and did not look fresh, both salmon and vegetables ????... not appetizing). Service was nice. Sorry, I didn’t like it, maybe it was an off day for them
I love coming here, pasta tastes great, good portions and super nice servers, pizza is delicious too!
(Translated) Love the buratta! (Original) Love the buratta!
Amazing pizza! -Ed :)
Nice place. Good wine, super fresh extra tender burrata and delicious risotto.
Came here for drinks, before the dinner rush, but already fall in love with this place. A very Italian feel at this place; from the real oven to make pizza, to the waiters and menu. Cant wait to come back for a real dinner.
Great location fantastic food and service was bang on
(Translated) Top service I recommend Sabrina's desserts are phenomenal ... Try it (Original) Servizio al top vi consiglio i dolci di Sabrina sono fenomenali... Da provare
I ordered take out tonight and none of the 3 people I saw working in the restaurant were wearing masks. The food was good but I will be taking my business and appetite elsewhere in the future.
This place is an absolute gem. Decor, food and service was excellent! Highly recommended. This will be are new place. Thanks to Manny for the great service!
Delicious Penne alla Vodka! I loved the focaccia presentation. Great venue!
Swordfish!

Great vibe and delicious food. Rented out the basement for a birthday, service was on point.
Generally a great restaurant with a good vibe and great service. Always enjoy the atmosphere. We've been there a few times, however, most recently, we went there as a family for New Year's Eve and the food needed quite a bit more seasoning. Perhaps an off night and will definitely still go back...will update the rating if improved.
Slow service
Very good authentic food. Orders take out first then went back and sat on the patio.
Cozy spot near Yonge + Eglinton. Everything was very good. Service was OK; not great.
Seriously delicious. Great service. Amazing wine recommendations. The crème brûlée was to die for.

Love their overbaked pizza
Amazing Pizza, service and atmosphere!
Nice pizza place!
Good service, good beers, place to stop by for a drink.
Stick with the pizza and wine
Fantastic food, staff and ambiance. Great selection of unique salads, pasta and pizza among other great mains. Top notch experience and service
Amazing food
Best Italian food in Toronto, excellent service and beautiful place ♥️ also the best creme brûlée that I tried ever.
Best service
Amazing food, wine and service. Stopped in for a nice meal and the whole place was closed for a private party... we asked nicely and they let us sit downstairs in a private room to enjoy a very delicious dinner and bottle of wine. Pizza is delicious, calamari the best I have had since my last trip to Italy. Service was so friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Its my new local Italian spot! Best Italian in the neighborhood.
Great medium sized restaurant, that avoids the trappings of the "hole in the wall" and the mega franchises. Has a very authentic and rustic vibe. Their pizzas were great and very very delicious and easily large enough for two. We came with a large party that was serviced well. The prices were very reasonable as well. Also free Wi-FI!
Spent new years there.wine selection is great.pizza was delicious
I had the best Agnolotti al Tartufo of my life!
Came here for my dad's birthday, delicious food
Sip or chug, they dont care
Very good authentic gourmet pizzas. A little on the pricey side.
Authentic Sicilian cuisine including Sicilian wines. Great spot to host a private event. The staff is very accommodating.
We went for the first time there with as a group of five. It was our first time. The only let down was for the restaurant that has Wine in its title you would expect them to have lots of wine but for some reason the first couple of bottles we picked they did not have. So it didn't start well cause we enjoy our wine a lot. But once the food started to come it completely won us over. The appetizers were great. We had the Calamari (delicious). The pizza is AMAZING here. One of the best if not the best pizza I've had in a restaurant in Toronto. We came back a couple of more times and the quality and services was the same, hence the five starts. It is a great hidden gem. Please go and try it if you can, definitely recommend.
Excellent attentive service and delicious food!
I've been to Sip at least 5 times and I have yet to be disappointed. Food is fabulous and reasonably priced. Service is great!
Delicious food and excellent service! Thank you.
Great food. Great atmosphere and Excellent service.
Love it! Best wood oven pizza!
Good pizza, reasonably priced, not great service
perfect spot for great food and wine.
Excellent service, fresh stone oven pizza, wine, delicious specialty coffees & dessert
Cozy, great food and friendly service
It's OK but if they want to claim 4-5 stars they need a change in attitude. This is just my opinion after going there twice.
I went here with my bridesmaids for a very low-key bachlorette the Friday before my wedding. Lovely wine, but very limited gluten-free options and rather poor service. The waitress managed to spill wine on some of our things, and was never available when we wanted to order.
OK food, ignored by the staff (and I was the ONLY person here). What's with the wine system? If you advertise wines from the funky wine preservation system, you really should not pour them from corked bottles.
OK food but felt very rushed. They served our main while we were halfway through our appetizer. Then halfway through dinner they asked if we were finished. Not a relaxing night out. Also very cold and loud AC. Won't he returning as when we go out we like to digest and relax. Not feel like it's a race.
One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Better than Grazie (a few steps from SIP) in my humble opinion
Amazing food and service! I went here for the first time today and will definitely be back! The menu has a lot of selection and the food was fantastic.
Warm and welcoming atmosphere, incredible service. Delicious & well made pizza, great wine selection. Everything was perfect!
Just ate at SIP and I have been floored. The service has been absolutely wonderful. The servers are friendly and engaging. The food was wonderful. I haven't had a pizza this good since Pizza Libretto. Chili oil? On point! The restaurant itself has a wonderful ambiance too. Please come here, it's fantastic!
You can not find a better more authentic Napolitan pizza anywhere in Toronto. The Pizzaiolo Salvatore is as authentic Napolitan as you can get. If you want a real authentic Napolitan pizza the only way to really experience it is to get on a plane. If you want the next best thing come here you wont be disappointed.
Ordinary food.
Fantastic place, looks nice and modern, cozy place warm inviting, food and red wine were fantastic 10/10 delicious, staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The only small thing I can say is our dirty plates were left a long time in front us at the bar and it bothered me to look at it but I didn't say anything as I didn't want to say anything negative in front of my 6'3" charming hunk of date. I had a great night overall. I highly rec. this rest. I didn't pay so I don't know about the value part. My date didn't complain about it though and he seemed happy with everything. I went back Fri. Sept. 6, 2019 to meet a Tinder guy at 4:30 pm. We were surprised to find it locked up with a note taped to the door saying they were closed. They were supposed to be open according to online info. here. My date decided to take me to Cibos across Yonge Street. The space there is fantastic!
Delicious!!! Warm and friendly staff. Have ate in restaurant and as well take out.
Food and service were excellent. Good ambience, not too loud. Will definitely go back.
The place looked very authentic, loved the waiter and how he described the pairing wine for each food. The pizza was very good. Loved the risotto and environment. Perfect for a rainy cold day with a warm interior design and decor
Really good place. The pizzas are delicious
Pizza is absolutely amazing. Great service and like chilling in Italy on patio relaxing enjoying
Most delicious pizza!
Good wine selection, knowledgable staff, good food. Lively and cozy.
My friend and I went Saturday night. We had reservations for 730pm. It took awhile for someone to acknowledge us at the hostess stand. Then a guy came and approached us and gave us attitude. We were finally seated after about 10mins. It the. Took 20+ mins to be acknowledge by our server. There were tables around us that were larger tables whom were seated after us had their orders taken and bread served before we even had a glass of water. We order the Frittura Mista which was a small portion but good. We each ordered pizza and it unfortunately had no taste and the dough wasn't true Napolitano pizza dough. I had to add Parmesan Cheese and salt to my pizza just to add flavor (something I never had to do at other restaurants). We didn't get our waiters name (he's bald headed) he was very rude to us and a fee others. When my friend paid fir the dinner he took a glance at her receipt and he bluntly said "I see you left me only a $5 tip." He stood there over our table expecting us to feel bad and he brought up the $5 again. She explained we weren't pleased with the service. He took our copy of the itemized receipt and thru it in the garbage. Never in my life have we experienced such horrible service. If I could give it 0 I would. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone and I won't go back.
Meal type
Pasta, dope. Pizza dope. I will say that it's a slightly thicker crust for Neopolitan style pizza, but it's good.
Excellent service, and very delicious food. I would definitely recommend.
Nice and friendly staff.
Easily my favourite Italian place in Toronto. Buzzing that it is around the corner from me. Everything on the menu is unreal. Such friendly staff. My husband does not share my love for Italian food but actually likes Sip and told me it is the only Italian restaurant he has ever enjoyed. My faves are the burrata, pizzas (can’t go wrong), the lamb (seriously delicious) and the creme brûlée (legit the best I have had). If they have a mushroom gnocchi on special GET IT!!!!
Was turned away at 10:30pm at the door when they are listed to be open until 12:00. Wanted a night cap alone and have some nice red wine on a summer Wednesday evening. Not sure why I offended them. Quite disappointed. :(
Fantastic service!!
Love the oven baked pizzas...great atmosphere before hitting the bar!
Very enjoyable....relaxing
Delicious food.
Love this place. In my opinion the best Italian neighborhood restaurant at Yonge and Eglinton. Spacious, friendly, competent and long serving staff - almost all Italian - authentic Neapolitan pizza chef and talented bartenders who will make you the best Aperol Spritz money can buy.
On google it shows they close at 11pm. Called the restaurant before coming in and confirmed with them thrice what time they close and everything. However when we reached the restaurant just after 10 minutes from our call, they refused to let us in saying kitchen is closed. I explained to the server who was attending us that we literally called like 5-7 mins ago and whoever picked up the phone said we can come. He then argued that he is the manager and there could be some miscommunication with the phone operator and kitchen is closed now. He then went to ask somebody if they can still accommodate us and the person who he asked said *what do they want and if they can finish early can have a seat then* hearing this we immediately without saying anything walked out of the restaurant. That was absolutely horrible comment and a terrible customer service.
Sip has incredible service, impeccable in fact. It really sets it apart from other dining experiences. The appetisers are appealing, the mains are hearty and tasty, the desserts are bang on...and if you're into the right pairing for your wine, you're in the right place! Love those open window seats on a warm evening...can still see the action on Eglinton without being right in the traffic and chaos.
(Translated) To try, very good (Original) Da provare , molto buono
Great location, nice room, decent service but the food is sad, as in stingy with ingredients and canned flavour-free tomato sauce.
The atmosphere is okay. The staff was really great here; very friendly and knowledgeable. But the wine I tried was just okay and the cheese platter was way too small for the price. Kinda pathetic actually. Good stuff but not at all worth the price.
Good pizza! Many classic Italian options. Quick service.
Best pizza in Yonge and Eglinton area. Near-authentic napolitan pizza. Staff varies by days and shift I believe. The Italian staff are very professional career waiters so provide good experience I believe.
(Translated) delicious pizzas !! (Original) deliziose pizze!!
Excellent service
The food and service was excellent! We reserved the area in the lower level, and it is gorgeous down there! The food was fresh and delicious and everyone had a great time, thank you!
Cozy, low key, amazing for dates
Very good food and very quiet. Better than i expected, i gave it 3 stars because we were part of a wedding party and nobody came to our table to ask if we wanted anything to drink after about 20.pretty much avoided the table.
Watch out for the wine pricing. The right price column on the wine menu is for half a liter, not the bottle. Column headings are not easily found.
(Translated) Thank you for the exceptional service, authentic Neapolitan cuisine and delicious salted fish, including an extensive list of tasteful wines! We can't wait for our next visit! (Original) Grazie per il servizio eccezionale, l'autentica cucina napoletana e il delizioso pesce salato, inclusa un'ampia lista di vini di buon gusto! Non vediamo l'ora della nostra prossima visita!
Very nice place. Friendly staff. Delicious food
Very good pizza with reasonable prices. The service is also good. I think it's a interesting place to go.
Great place Awsome pizza and one of only a few places that have Krombacher beer on tap I would definitely come back here
The food was good and the atmosphere nice and if "fine dining" is your thing, you will like Sip. I just didn't see the value for the money. Good for a first date but we are in no hurry to go back.
Nice pizza ???? and dessert.
(Translated) The decoration of the place is very good. On the ground floor they have space for groups with very good atmosphere. The service is very good. The food tastes good, just that the portions of the dishes alone do not fill you. The pizzas are not from the other world but they are rich. Prices are on average. Red wines are very good. In general the place is good.
Food was really delicious, we had a pizza and their ravioli. Staff were really nice and friendly. we enjoyed our experience there and would definitely go back.
Great food and service seems very nice people
So authentic and wonderful service. Our favourite place in the area.
Great food. We used a Groupon, so it was a great deal.
I’ve tried ordering from this restaurant three separate times on Uber Eats. They keep canceling the order 15mins later and wasting my time. If they don’t want to do online deliveries then they shouldn’t have their name on the platform. Spend your money and time elsewhere.
Wonderful warm and welcoming atmosphere. Genuine Italien hospitality. The plate of mussels for 14.00 was generous to a fault and fresh. Reminiscent of A good New York find.
Freshly made pizza. Amazingly delicious
Their pizza tasted great and their wine was excellent as well (huge selection). Definitely dining there again. Or waiter was very knowledgeable and guided us to a meal that we absolutely enjoyed.
This is our go to place for amazing Italian and Pizza.. and we come from Woodbridge! The burrata is like none I’ve ever had and the pizza dough is like a cloud. If you’re a meat person the lamb is consistently delicious. The owner Vince is always friendly and attentive. Sometimes service is slow but it’s not a fast food place! We settle in and enjoy the evening:)
Nice atmosphere and meal. Great service.
Great pizza! Gnocchi was delicious
Had a drink and bite with my wife there and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I like that it's on side street off Yonge... It's marginally less noisy, but the patio, service and food makes the experience worth it.
On of my favorite Neapolitan pizza in Toronto.
Delicious food, great sized portions and amazing service.
Love love love their pizza.
Great food, friendly staff. The food quality is fantastic. Highly recommended.
Nice spot. Good wine and my pizza was delicious!
Service was not acceptable - server requires more training. We ordered pizza quality of which fell well below expectation.
Authentic, no nonsense Naples pizza (we opt for the Margheritas with buffalo mozzarella), a delightful pandemic find. Ride share delivery or direct order by phone if, like us, you want it direct from the oven. Looking forward to eating in the restaurant soon
Good pizza and great wine selection!
I consider myself a fanatic for Italian food, and after having recently moved to the area I checked out many spots. This restaurant by FAR has the most quality, authentic, and fantastic food. Along with this the service and prices are fantastic. I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat.
Great pizza and wine selection
I got violently ill from the food. I will NEVER return to the place.
The best. Service is top notch. Everything authentic. Pizzas are to die for an the owner Vince is the man, treats you like family!
Amazing pizza
Great Italian restaurant with Pizza and Pasta dishes. Wine selection was great, missing local wineries.
Went for dinner and drinks. Turned away at the door told they were closed a bit before 10. Even though online their hours post till 11pm and front said closes at 12 am
Great food. Make sure to try their pizza.
Food and service were excellent
Cool little Italian wine joint with tasty pizza. On the pricey side.
Terrible food. When we received our appetizers, we were not pleased. The bruschetta pizza was undercooked, cold, and was soaked in oil. The pasta e fagioli's beans were hard, and un-tasteful. Our waiter would check up on our table every minute or so asking us if we liked the food, which was pretty irritating. I don't recommend, and I will not be returning ever again.
Staff is friendly and food is amazing.
A big thank you to michele for his outstanding service when I visited with my parents in law. He is a definition of what good service is, and should be everywhere. That being said, my mother in law was visiting from italy and is very picky. She enjoyed the "real"pizza so much that during her week visit she came twice!
Honestly, this place is such a waste of a date night. Looks nice from the outside, but horrible on the inside. Tacky decor, horrible service, garbage food. If you order the risotto, you will get soup with rice in it. I sent my plate back twice before we gave up and left.
Wine was delightful (Riesling Canadian one). The service I wasn't very fond of. The server had an issue splitting the bill correctly four ways. Don't think he was pleasant at all at a table filled of 4 women. The vibe was just not what you expected at an Italian restaurant. The mussels were delicious. My main dish was okay, needed lots of Parmesan. Would I go back, probably not. Was worth the try
They made fun of the way I ate. Probably because I was the only Asian-looking guy. I would definitely not recommend this place to any POC.
Good pizzas!
Great service. Authentic pizza. Great local spot.
Nice place, clean, good music and good food, I hope to visit again
Great atmosphere !!
Their Arugula salad tastes good. Their servers are friendly. We even communicated in Italian with one of the servers that was so cool :)
Always great.
I have visited this place several times and it never disappoints. The Neapolitan-style pizzas are delicious and great in size. The Fritura Mista is perfect for sharing and it's delicious too. Overall this is a very good place to have a delicious Italian meal. Good food, pleasant ambience, good service and excellent value for money in the Yonge and Eglinton area.
Amazing pizza. Good selection of wine friendly wait staff nice atmosphere
Amazing food . I loved the house wine. We had a Margherita pizza which was really good. But wish they put small sizes of the mozzarellas. Also I would give this place a VL2 for the veg food
Really yummy pizza!
The staff is very friendly and the service is great! I had the mushroom risotto and tried some of the bruschetta. The bruschetta came on pizza dough... Not my favourite tbh... the topping also lacked flavour. I've had better. Overall the experience was ok though.
Great food great wine!
As soon as we walked into the restaurant the ambiance made us feel welcome, along with the very friendly stuff. The food was authentic and well-crafted - it reminded me of my nonna’s growing up. It’s in a great area with ample parking. We had the burrata cheese & prosciutto appetizer was unreal and the calamari was crispy yet light. The pasta’s and pizza tasted like they were from Italy. The owner Vincent made sure we had a great time and spent time with our table which most places don’t.
Awesome
Pizza is hit or miss. Pasta dishes are good.
I recently had my daughter's baptism at sip wine bar and was blown away with the service, wine and food! Luisa went out of her way to decorate for us! She bought flowers for the tables for us, set up the dessert table and made menu cards, a gift card box and other party details. Thank you to the team there we couldn't of done it without you!
Great Italian restaurant
The place I have been wanting to find good wines.
Great Location! the restaurant is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the service is friendly, but lacking, the server seems to be a bit all over the place, with numerous times coming over to double check what was actually ordered.
Amazing. Talk about excellent service, food, and drinks!
Very good service, good wine and good cheese. Only thing I didn’t like was being brought a cheese platter when I just asked for a menu. Otherwise I’d say it’s a pretty decent location
Great location and great service. They know their wines and how to suggest the pairings with their awesome pizzas. I thought we'd visit this place once, but we keep going back!
I recently held a corporate dinner in their private room downstairs. The setting and decor was superb! We were treated like royalty. the food was truly authentic and delicious, along with their extensive wine selection. Cannot say enough good things about SIP Wine Bar - huge thank you to Luisa and Vince for their impeccable service and warm hospitality - 5-STAR
Love this place...been here numerous times since it opened and ALWAYS great experience.Amazing food, wine selection and servers/owners are attentive.
The food was amazing and out server Mark was fantastic. Great atmosphere as well.
Pizza is delicious!
Nice place in the heart of Yonge and Eglinton. Really miss the dine in experience. Pizzas are great. Looking forward to going when restaurants are allowed to open again.
Been there several times; food and pizza are amazing. There is not 10 page menu, but essential typical and real Italian menu. Friendly atmosphere, great food, and feeling home: steps away from Yonge/Eglington TTC station. And if you like, ask for "polpette": they have nothing to do with the meat balls you know.
I personally like it a lot. The food is pretty good and much better than other Italian restaurants in Toronto. I went there so many times.
One of my favourite places in the city - spectacular food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
WAITED 40 Minutes between courses!!We have been loyal customers since this (what was) great neighbourhood restaurant opened. Even worse was how it WAS’NT handled. Suggest Graze!
Full house on a Saturday evening - there was a wait for tables but space at the bar. Good service at the bar, and the pizzas we ordered came really quickly. The funghi and spicy sausage pizza were good - thin, soft and not too chewy crust with a light red sauce. Perfect with a light beer or a glass of wine.
Food was amazing! Had a pizza and it was the best dough I ever had. Tried the pasta as well. Everything was delicious.
Chicken was very dry
Pasta is fantastic. Don't order anything else
Quite possibly the best pizza in the neighbourhood. Great food in a modern but comfortable atmosphere. Reasonable prices for the high quality. If you have the option, pay the extra buck for buffalo mozzarella!
We’ve been here a few times and every time we have had great service, the pizzas are fantastic the selection of wine is great whatever your budget!
Great wine and great pasta. The pizza was great!
Very warm atmosphere. Good wine selection however menu is a little outdated compared to what they have available. Pizza is truly authentic Neapolitan.
Bad service, unfriendly staff.
Great Italian meals
I give it 2 star because the service was excellent but the food is not worth the price at all. The soup was cold the pizza was soggy. Not going back there at all
Amazing food, wine, and atmosphere. Truly authentic Italian food
Food was delicious, very authentic pizza I must say. We went without reservation and they accommodated us right away. Alex a cool Italian guy was our server. Excellent service, fantastic menu and wine selections.
Affordable tasty food; great service even when it's crowded
Great wine, knowledgeable staff, great service.
The best pizza around Yonge and Eglinton, absolutely delicious. Great price, fast service (10 min from call to pickup in case you want to enjoy it at home). They have a good wine selection, but you cannot go wrong even if you just stay with the house red. Pastas are also delicious, but we mostly go back for the pizzas.
Amazing classic Italian! Service is top notch, food is authentic, and the atmosphere is all of the above. A must try and staple in the midtown area!
Very friendly staff and great atmosphere. Food was very tasty. We had a larger group and they made our dinner special.
I ordered the Funghi pizza which comes with cheese, mushrooms and basil. The cost was about $18 after taxes. This pizza was not worth the money, taste was nothing special. You're better off going to Pi Co down the street, not only will the taste and selection be better but also cheaper.
This is a great date restaurant. Wonderful um-beyonce (ambience), very good service. We ordered meatballs, calamari and tagliatelle with meat sauce. All the dishes were good.
Really good pizza and wine.
The price of the food didn't translate to the price that were were charged. Just noticed that they did pretty bad on their dine safe last week too.
Been here many times and have yet to have a bad experience. The food is amazing, service is fantastic and the pizza ranks with the best Toronto has to offer. Amazing!!! Bravi!!!
The best pizza.
Excellent environment and friendly staff. Luisa was an amazing server and helped us have an authentic Italian experience in the Yonge-Eglinton area. The Burrata is a must along with the courtesy bread they serve! Will be going there frequently and recommend it 100%!
Been here a few times, different experience each time. Some good, some bad although the food is consistent. Definitely worth a try if in the mood for Italian. Priced very well also.
I came here with a few friends over the weekend. The overall place is well kept and fancy looking. My friends and I ordered a bottle of wine which was described by our server as being peach flavoured but I personally didn't notice a peach taste. Despite this, it was not bad so we drank it all. As our appetizer we ordered the bruschetta. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of it since it tasted fairly soft and dough-y. It simply had tomatoes on it...no balsamic or anything (I honestly make better bruschetta and I am no pro!) . It was mediocre in my opinion. We also had the caprice salad which was decent as well. As my main, I ordered the pizza with buffalo mozzarella. I LOVED the pizza so it definitely made up for the mediocre appetizers. I personally liked that there was a fair amount of tomato sauce and cheese on it. Despite this, one request that I did make to my server was to add extra basil to my pizza...but when I got it, it had one tiny basil leaf so obviously the opposite of what I requested. The server himself was decent. He could have smiled a bit more and been friendlier and less forgetful with my pizza request and his wine recommendation. Overall, our experience was decent. We didn't love the place nor did we hate it but we don't need to come back (didn't blow us away or anything). I also wish that they had other cocktails besides JUST wine but then again, it is a wine bar :/
Delicious tasting food and excellent service. Very nice environment and fair prices. Highly recommend to everyone!
Came here for a team event and the staff was friendly. Food was also great!
The owner here has extreme attitude issues. Came with my grandma and asked politely about two items on the menu. His response: "It's good. Just eat it or leave"
There are many authentic pizza places in Toronto and SIP Is one of them.
Compared to other restaurants nearby like CIBO and even pico I found the pizza here to be nothing to write home about and certainly not as authentically Italian. If you want the real thing try either of the two listed above instead. The service here was lacklustre at best and the waitress was rather abrupt and hasty even though the restaurant was not busy.
Good food. House wine isn't bad.
We had a reservation for 8. Upon arrival to the restaurant, it was really busy and there was no hostess to show us to our table. After waiting for a while we had to ask one of the server if they could show us to our reservation. The restaurant has a really nice vide. We were seated downstairs at one of the most interesting table we have seen. The group loved it. Everybody loved their food, it was very tasty. The portions for the appetizers were generous. Unfortunately we cannot say the same for the main courses, the portions were really small for the price you pay. The service was extremely slow. We cannot blame our server as he was alone to provide service to the entire lower floor and next to us was a very large group. Management should have planned better and have two servers. I would have given 4 stars usually but the lack of attention to the service by management and the small portions for the price made me go with 3 stars. I would try them again on a less busy night.
Food was good, same works for wine, but I was disappointed with the service, so I wouldn't recommend this place to my friends. The guy (Leo, I believe) was kinda rude, brought just one bill (and rudely throw it in front of us) before we actually asked for a bill, didn't ask if we wanted to split a bill or not. After all he rejected to split wine in our bills. I guess, this place is okay only if you're an Italian.
Best Italian pizza in town, great atmosphere and great service. My favorites: Frittura mista ( shrimp and calamari) and Margherita Veracce.
GREAT PIZZAS EXCELLENT SERVICE. GREAT PRICE.
Didn’t enjoy the pizza at all, some strange taste!
Go there for the pizza and you won't be disappointed ????????
Great pizza and service
Great service great food
It all seemed a little weird.... I was there about a month ago with 5 others and don’t remember a single appetizer/meal/dessert that was consumed.
A colleague and I was there yesterday for lunch, the restaurant pretty much had just the 2 of us in it but the server/ hostess was somewhat distracted on the phone. From the time we entered and while taking our order it was clear that it wasn't the order they were making note of because I had to repeat what I said for the person. Other than that the food was ok hence the review.
SIP has a great, comfortable atmosphere, which is not too pretentious. The menu was focused on Italian fare. As most places in Toronto, SIP had good options for different diet chioces and restrictions. I did notice the bathroom is not barrier free as it is downstairs. In addition to the main floor the basement is set up for events or overflow. The tables down there are made of beautiful slab construction. I would say it was for tastings and such. I enjoyed the food, although I chose a more mundane dish. Others chose more interesting pasta. My pizza could have been split between two. Nice place.
Service
The Neapolitan pizza may not be the best in Toronto, but it's not the worst either. I'd put somewhere in the middle of the 12 places in the city that specialize in This type of pie. This place is really nice inside, with great people who own it. Service is fine and prices for menu items more than fair. Where costs might be somewhat high is for wine and beer. $9.00 for a pint of Moretti is a little on the steep side. Having said that, they do have a very extensive wine list. Overall, it's a spot well worth visiting, and we'd come again.
The server was lovely, he offered good service, but the pizza was quite gross. The salad was amazing, actually. They are supposed to specialize in pizza, but I was very disappointed. I am willing to give it another try to see what their pasta is like.
great food and service
First visit was a home run. Excellent wine, apps and mains. Efficient, friendly and helpful service. Cozy ambience, if a bit on the noisy side--but not out of the ordinary in that regard. Definitely will return. Soon, I hope!
Environment: cozy. Might be too small for a group. Causal, comfortable but feels fancy at the same time. Service: knowledgeable and attentive. Food: pizza was on point! I had the calzone. Was delicious but a little soggy inside and burned outside. Pasta bolognese was delicious. And my vegan friend had enough options for her in pizza & pasta. Meat platter needed more breads. Price: very good for the quality and quantity you get!
The pizza was alright.
Great food, good service
Excellent food and service. The pizza was superb.
Nice place for Italian pizza :)
Great food and great service!
High quality Neopolitan pizza. Large selection of wines as well. Prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended
Just visited this restaurant for the first time with my girlfriend, service was fast and professional, top notch server by the name of Leo who was very informative, polite, and welcoming! The pizza and gnocchi was DELICIOUS ! Coming back for sure!
Fantastic wine menu (even the house wine is very good!) and delicious pizza. I do wish they wouldn't try to cram so many tables in though, it really ruins the atmosphere.
Salad and pizza are fresh and good. The service is a little slow, maybe it is because they are fresh made.
Great Italian restaurant just off Yonge Street. Well priced wine list. We all enjoyed our meals. Very good service. nice patio.
Nice place. Good service.
A nice atmosphere with really great food and wines. One of the best traditional pizzas in the city.
I had chicken salad average . Nice place
Delicious pizza and antipasti. Very friendly staff who know the menu very well and can make recommendations for you. My go-to place for special occasions!
Delicious food and great service
Good pizza. Nice staff
We had the wood oven pizza and the swordfish and the flavour was amazing. Good presentation and fair portions. Coffee was not great but they have a nutella pizza to make up for it. It is reasonably priced. Will certainly be back again
Had a reservation on a Saturday night. I realize it was busy but we were seated for over 25 minutes and no one would acknowledge us. No water.. No order for drinks... Everytime we tried to get a waiter's attention he would look away. We were a couple... not making noise and just having our conversation... The couple next to us was frustrated because it took forever to get their order in. Finally asked a waiter next to us if he was our waiter and he mumbled that he would check to see who was serving us and never came back. Waited a while longer...wasn't looking to be served right away but it would have been nice to be acknowledged as even being there. We left and the table next to us who unfortunately had ordered just nodded. If you're that busy... fine... But at least come to the table and say so and not ignore people for that long.
It was our office Christmas party and it was lot of fun. We had drinks when we all came in and was served by a gorgeous and courteous lady. They served us some delicious snack. For the dinner I had ordered the Tuna fish and it was super tasty. It was cooked perfectly. Then we later were served deserts as well. Overall a recommended place for all.
This is home, this is family, love this place. Food is Delicious.
Nice interia&foods.
Had a fabulous team lunch today at Sip Wine Bar. The food was served hot and delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and suggested some great food items to try. Excellent service! We will definitely be back.
Always a treat! Food and service are amazing!
My favourite place for authentic Italian pizza. Staff are really friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I've been over a dozen times and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, salads and pasta too! Try the arugula salad!
Nice date spot. Especially for lunch.
The meatballs were very good. We also shared a pizza. I will go back.
My wife and I went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We had a great experience and it was what I had hoped it would be. Food was great, wine recommend for pairing was also great. I would definitely go back and I'd consider having a party in their lower private room.
Pretty good pizza, good wine selection and a fee tasty pasta dishes. Reasonably priced.
The pasta is amazing! Calamari is th best and they make a dipping out of white beans that is to die for !
Awesome ambiance, the place looks great and the food is perfect if you are looking for an authentic Italian meal! The staff makes sure that you are enjoying your meal. Give this place a try you won't regret it.
We live across the street but have never been. Finally decided to go and we did not regret it!!! Awesome authentic Italian service and food. Will be going back more often!
Horrible place!!! They don't even do little bit customization to the food!! It's a huge mood spoiler and not at all vegetarian or vegan friendly. I would rather have pizza pizza than having a pizza here. No options in menu. Totally NOT recommend it!!!
Delicious pizza, good prices, excellent service. I will definitely return.
Best Penne Arrabiata I’ve had in my life here.
My wife and I live around the corner so we walk by this place every single day, so on Friday June 17th, 2016, we decided to give it a try. The first impression was nice; the decoration is neat, with nothing too fancy. We were taken to a table for 2 by the waiter and just as we were going to sit, the owner or manager comes and tells us we can't sit there because that table is reserved. No big deal because the place was close to empty, so we moved to another table and gave no more thought to it. Then the "good" part; for roughly 15 minutes NOBODY asked us if we wanted a drink, or if we decided what to order. There were 5 waiters and NONE OF THEM was paying any attention to the tables (one of them was even folding napkins while we were just sitting there). I had to wave at one of them (pretty much as you would do on a stadium to get a beer) so he approached the table, we ordered our drinks and just when we were going to order the appetizers, the guy just left us. Un - freaking - believable. Anyway, the guys goes to the bar, the bartender serves our drinks (one beer and a glass of white wine) and he just left it there. We could see the beer and the wine just seating there, NOBODY PICKED THEM UP! At that time, we had been there for more than half and we still hadn't order food, so we just decided to pay for the drinks and leave. I don't think I'll ever set foot again in that place... And, by the way, if anyone related to the restaurant reads this, I was the guy wearing the white shirt in the corner table. Check your CCTV (if you have it) and you'll se I'm not lying.
Good food, nice place, friendly service
This restaurant is fantastic one of the best Italian ones out there. Food was awesome, service was amazing and the atmosphere was excellent. Will continue to come back, thank you.
The food was divine!! Enjoyed every mouthful. Reservations recommended as it's a very popular spot. No direct parking but there is a green P in the area. The staff are friendly and the service great. Family oriented but with a section for couples and friendly groups too. Nice selection of wines and beer. Prices reasonable but not cheap. Highly recommend.
The one star is for the taste. If you intend to order more than one pizza there, don't bother because they can't count passed one. I know weed is legal but come on, really? You can't make 2 Pizzas without screwing it up? If you are with friends and very hungry, don't order there, because if they screw up, they can't do anything for you. We ordered 2 very SIMPLE Pizzas through DoorDash, one Margarita (Tomato sauce, cheese and basil) and one Vegetarian. The total was $44. The Pizzas are the size of a plate and very thin (witch I like) but for $44, you hope your order will be correct. The Vegetarian made it, the DoorDasher dropped it in front of my door and sent me a picture (I selected to hand it to me on their app). I called the restaurant, told them I was missing the very hard to make Margarita Pizza. They checked, told us it was their mistake but couldn't do anything about it. DoorDash gave us a $15 refund and that was it! So, think about it twice before you order there...One thin pizza, 4 very hungry and angry people, $30!!! Very frustrating.
Overpriced, the mozerella had no taste and the wait staff was slow but very friendly.
Service isn’t consistent - have had a few really good experiences and a few really bad ones. Food is consistently good though. Decent.
I have enjoyed every meal here. Great food and ambiance.
They had a very good wine selection, the gentleman served us was very friendly and knowledgeable but their pizza was awful,Tasteless. My wife and I had a hard time with stomach problem.
Very good service!
Food is ok, service is awful! And this place is called "Italian". What a joke! Really disappointed!
Terrible. I will never come back. The owner started to have a fight with a customer beside our table. She was just complaining about the long waiting for her dish. He was incredible rude saying : please never come back . Despite that , I had to hear "It is what it is" when we complained that we didnt have bread for our burrata. Unfortunately, it was after we gave the tip. PLEASE DONT GO THERE. Grazi restaurant is much better, 30s walking from this place.
We had a great time here, the food was fresh and very good and the service was excellent! It's a cozy little place with a nice warm atmosphere. We had the caprese salad, Margherita pizza and the Al crudo pizza with the Cab Sauv TRIM & tiramisu for dessert.
Very good pizza, excellent staff.
Pizza is some of the best in Toronto, nice and chewy! good selection of vino. Service is superb and price is fair, unlike most places these days. We will be back!
Good and well priced pizza
A cool spot.
Cosy place, good authentic food. Home made ingredients like and friendly service. Liked it.
Loved the food, loved the service. Big, big fan and I will definitely be back.
Food was delicious as always. Our server was friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable, not too loud, a good date spot I'd say or a group outing.
Had a take out meal for the first time from this restaurant and it was nothing less than perfection. The service was very comforting and welcoming. The food quality was the best I’ve had in this city and I’ve lived in Toronto my whole life. Their pizza was identical to the ones I had in Naples. The penne alla vodka was amazing. Truly love this place and will be going back on a weekly basis!!!
Dinner
Michele did an excellent job waiting my tables. The calzone and the soup were also very delicious
Great Place , Great Food , Great experience
Great pizzas
romantic
Wine glass smelled really bad so we asked for a new one and the waiter poured the old wine (from smelly glass) in to the new glass... he did agree to give a new glass of wine after we complained but then gave another glass that smelled glass... only after another server helped us did they get us a clean glass...
Very helpful and knowledgable server!
Great food, happy atmosphere, knowledgeable service, reasonable prices
The service and food was very good!
Authentic Italian cuisine with an extensive wine menu!
This is one place you don't need to play it safe. Everything is delicious.
Great service & food
Its was ok. I had bolognese with pasta. Very bland. Pasta was too al dente. Second pasta was penne alla vodka. Sauce bland and pasta was not cooked well either. Wine selection for a wine bar was non impressive. We tried a few and ended up buying jlhor hilltop. Another waste of money but was a better choice than the lower end wines. No need to drop plus 120 for a $60 bottle with pizza. SIP AINT NO WINE BAR. ITS A PIZZA JOINT THAT SELLS PASTA with a average wine list. Sorry guys. I was impressed by server. Spoke fluent Italian and very polite. And wine glasses should be washed a little better guys. Likely wont be back Robert
Really like the salads here, my wife likes the pizza. Nice decor, friendly staff.
Just nasty... you can taste the cheap ingredients in the food. The canned tomato puree. Yuck... The overpriced menu disguises this place as upscale and fancy. A true food critic wouldn't step in this place ever again.
Ordered a pizza on UberEats, the pizza arrived cold and my home is 4 min from restaurant!
I went there last week. The place is cozy and has nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We order the buratta with brochutto for appetizer ( I forgot the proper name of the dish the menu) and it had a rich blend of flavours. We also ordered the creamy salamy pizza and it tastes great as well. Definitely coming back again
Did not enjoy the food quality. The calamari was overly breaded and soggy. The pizza was a just a big piece of Buffalo Mozarela. The penne was plain. I have enjoy much better places.
Good menu variety of choice, nice bar tasty Italian cuisine
Nice ambiente, the food was OK, although the pizza was quite burnt at the bottom and the rucula salad was drenched in sugar-sauce. The Italian wine the waiter recommended ($13 a glass) tasted good but gave both of us a headache after two glasses, which seems odd considering it's a wine bar. At 9:30 pm we were asked to pay because the waiter wanted to go home and were not served anymore (?!). Probably not coming back.
Was empty when we went. Very disappointing. Just tried the pizza - ordered a pizza each. Both all soggy up until the crust - could not pick it up without the sloppy mess falling onto the plate. Did not look like the pics I see on the reviews maybe just an off night. Won’t go back.
This is my second time at Sip, which I saying something as I live 45 minutes away. Their calamari is just to good to resist and I'd say is among the best in Toronto. From their home made bread and artichoke dip which they give to start you off to their perfect pastas, everything is delicious and made fresh. They also have a great wine menu and their pomegranate tequila is a must try. Service is great and the atmosphere makes for a relaxing night among friends. The owner usually will personally talk to your table which shows they care about you as a customer. I would highly recommend giving this place a try.
Excellent food and service
The best food in Toronto! Great service and amazing ambiance. If you want real Italian food at great prices this is the spot .
Great ambience and pizza crust.
Great service
Great ambiance, generally great servers though one server is bit awkward.
Food is fantastic. Service is always amazing. I often get takeout, have dined there several times, and one time I ordered 10 pizza doughs for a party. They have never let me down, service and food-wise. Lovely place.
Worst pizza ever, be careful... !!!! and staff is very RUDE and ARROGANT !!!!
Ordered via DoorDash for our weekly pandemic takeout date night and holy guacamole! It was fantastic even delivered to Pape and Danforth. He loved his nduja Pizza and me my ham, mushroom, artichoke (forget the name.) best meatballs I’ve ever had- especially the sauce. Caesar salad was out of this world! And the chocolate lava cake was the absolute best I have ever had! We wayyyy overordered because the price was so reasonable that we assumed things would be tiny! Will order again for sure and can’t wait to eat in person when things open up.
Authentic Italian food! Large selection of wine also!
I live close to SIP and I enjoy wine so I've been meaning to try this place out. I came in around 9 pm for a drink and a snack, unfortunately the kitchen was closed. Upon ordering some wine one of the servers/bartenders offered me some bread/dip/oil and vinegar and apologized again for the kitchen being closed. He was engaging and helpful as they were out of two of the wines by the glass I ordered but he made an alternative suggestion for both. I'll come by to check out the food menu next time.
Good food and good service, reasonable price
Fantastic food and excellent service. One of our North Toronto favourites. We'll be back!
Amazing service!!! The pizza is so authentic with its crust, texture and flavours you go straight to pizza heaven. Enjoy!!!
Very busy Saturday (Should have booked), great bar service, crispy calamari and a couple of gorgeous hand made pizzas - Nice job SIP!
Good atmosphere, mediocre food but the waiter that was helping us was so stuck up & kept giving us attitude while rolling his eyes! This place should improve the quality of their customer service!!!
I am a repeat customer of this place. Their margherita pizza is a staple in our house, and when we eat at the restaurant itself (pre covid), my go to is the vegetable risotto (don’t make me say the actual Italian name of the dish). They have a comprehensive list of wines and cocktails. Even the house wine is excellent. The staff is warm and makes you feel at home. You simply cannot go wrong. As long as this place is open, they have us as customers.
Great wood oven made pizza and the pasta was good. Wine list is extensive. Went for lunch. Really. Liked it.
Food was very good. The service was very slow. worth going to if you have the time and the money.
Dine in
This is an absolutely terrific restaurant to come eat at. I recently came by here with a friend of mine and it was our first time coming here so we decided to give this place a try. First thing coming in here, and to be honest very important, was that it was very clean, elegant, and very welcoming. It had a very classy, modern but with some classic feel. Our table was set up nicely and the seats were very comfortable. Staff was always asking us for any concerns if we needed anything and that's something many restaurants are quiet lacking nowadays. The food does take a little bit long, but they give you bread with olive oil and another sauce which I don't remember what it was called but it was good too, but once you get your food to your table and start eating it, you will know the reason why. The food was just outstanding. I had the Vitello Ai Porcini, which is a pan seared boneless veal chop in mushroom sauce and my friend had Salmone Alla Mugnaia, which is grilled salmon fillet served in a lemon and white wine sauce(descriptions was taken straight from their site). Both dishes were just gorgeous, and thankfully, a perfect portion. Not where there's so much to eat and you get stuffed, or not enough where you thought your main course was barely an appetizer. Would I go there a second time? Without question I would come back. It's a bit pricey of course, but to me it's worth it. If you want to bring a date, friend, relatives, or anyone to somewhere really nice, I say come here.
Pizza cold, soggy and full of tomato. Very little cheese. Good service and wonderful ambiance
Love their risotto. Creamy and great place for lunch meet ups
Great place for drinks
Food was quite good. Service was super slow considering there were only 3 tables being served. Ridiculous.
The food and wine was amazing!
Great food and wine very fair price for such a great classy atmosphere
I recently had my boyfriend's 30th birthday celebration at Sip Wine Bar and was blown away with the outstanding service, food and drinks! Luisa and her boss went out of their way to ensure that our guests were happy and well served. Luisa even went out of her way to help my sister decorate the tables with flowers and other party details and she also had a custom menu printed for us. I don't know what I would have done without her and her boss! Thank you to Luisa for the outstanding service!!! My guest were very pleased and we will definitely come back for dinner and future event celebrations! You left a lasting impression on us and we will never forget our event! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Great food snd beautiful space
I have been here on multiple occasions, both with family, and friends. I have consistently, had a good time, and been reasonably waited on. Also, delicious food, and I love the texture of their crust!
Too much salt on the pizza sauce! Other times the pizza was good, though.
Good atmosphere, authentic Italian food, great service and amazing wine list. What else do you need?
Great pizza and service. Worth a visit.
Best pizza in the city hands down
Lovely Neapolitan pizza and great wine: best way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
Food was amazing and drinks are great! 10/10 Atmosphere was every nice and peaceful. Ordered the risotto and I recommend it!
Everything about our experience was fine with the exception of the wine list. The restaurant continues to advertise wines that are up to four years older than what they actually stock. We asked for a 2013 wine and they brought out a 2017 instead. We’ve had this experience repeatedly at this restaurant. Then the server gives some excuse like only updating the wine list every five years, or tells us that wine doesn’t age in the bottle. For a wine bar this bait and switch is pretty shifty. Strongly suggest you look at the year of the wine on the menu and compare it to the label.
Amazing pasta with vodka sauce
Great atmosphere and decent food. Nice place for a meal with a friend or date.
Super great service, attentive but not intrusive. Best Neapolitan pizzas and pastas. Flavourful dishes without overwhelming saltiness. Salads are fresh and crisp with subtle dressing. A wonderful experience. This has become our regular favourite hangout!! On a quiet street steps away from the bustle of a main thoroughfare.
A bit on the slow side but generally a nice place to eat and good food.
I brought a group of 7 people from out of town for dinner on a Saturday. The restaurant was not overly busy when we arrived. We were rushed through each stage of our meal- choosing menu items, plates being cleared when others were not finished eating, pressure to choose a dessert when people were still finishing the main. Additional glasses of wine & condiments were not brought in a timely fashion despite the server being visibly not busy. The food was mediocre for a place that specializes in Italian food. The wine selection was ok. The customer service was extremely poor. Our server had an anxious personality & was very abrupt and interrupted us numerous times. The owner told us that we had overstayed our 2 hour time slot (which was not communicated upon arrival), however our server had not yet brought us our bills. I would not return.
Super nice people, great food, lovely room
Try Sangria and Pizza
Really good attentive service, some good products on its own, good cheeses, etc; but mediocre food, lots to work on, i must say i did not try tbe pizza maybe that's better, but the dishes that we tried were disappointing: the capresse salad was tasteless with no fresh basil, roket instead of it.., hard ice cold tomatoes that seem to come directly from the fridge; and the a salmon carpaccio was a bad experience for us, the pieces weren't thin enough, hard to chew and to cut..and smelly salmon, it did not seem fresh from my point of view. Hope they can improve because the atmosphere and service were really good.
Great food, good service, nice decor
The pizza is not authentic neapolitan, it's quite thick and doesn't seem to be cooked in a pizza oven. The wine selection is great, but the space itself is very cramped as they've overstuffed too many tables. It was quite busy when I went so obviously it's a neighbourhood favourite!
We got lucky on our visit. Bartender was very knowledgeable. He really took his profession seriously, example, he goes looks through old recipes from bartenders from different eras and turns it into an education. Oh yes, and his drinks were very delicious...the food will not disappoint.
We recently had a corporate event at SIP and the service, food and atmosphere was excellent! Great attention to detail and such kind staff. Thank you for making our event a success!
Love the arugula salad with pears, Brie and pine nuts! Beside the salad I ordered pappardelle with Italian sauces - everything was delicious. Great and courteous service, cozy place.
So delicious! Perfect service.
Great Italian food. Nice atmosphere.
Surprisingly it was opened for dine-in today even though Google still says it only does take-out and delivery. We were actually on our way to La Vecchia for some patio dining but saw someone cleaning the patio here so we stopped by and asked if they were opened. Luckily, it was so we sat down for a very good lunch. Food is always very decent or very good here and the food came out quite quick too. No lunch menu now though understandably but only dinner menu even during lunch hours. Only two tables but they were never busy during lunch even in pre-pandemic times. Hope they will survive!
Great venue, cozy and elegant. Well made food, pleasant service and on top of everything, great coffee.
Incredible food, great atmosphere, and amazing service. We got the margarita pizza, muscles, and burrata for an appetizer and all were incredible. The real stand out was the gnocchi, the best I’ve had probably ever. Highly recommend!
Great ambiance and delicious food! The Risotto and calamari were amazing! Highly recommend!
I would not recommend this restaurant to any person of colour. We dined here tonight and couldn't help but notice the waiter criticize my friends for the way they ate and dressed. It was so blatant that I had to write this review. All we wanted was a nice meal, but we got an evening full of microagressions and racism. Avoid.
