My husband bought a subscription while on tour. As hard as it is already the flowers that came from the 1st month was horrible looking. The orchids were alive but it was brown through transport. This company didn’t care and had no explanation. I emailed customer service to let them know but they didn’t care (Quinton). Little did I know my husband subscribed so next month I got such beautiful flowers. I explained to the customer service if they can fix the address since the delivery guys has called for the unit number. I have asked if they can fix and see if they can just use another delivery company. They called me on a Monday and the flowers were not delivered till Thursday. So that’s why the plants looked horrible. I simply wanted them to send another replacement for what happen. And if they can’t fix it then just cancel. No explanation was given or to see if they can even fix the issue and Quinton emailed no Apologies and No Explanation. That was that! I have never such horrible customer service and my husband has ordered flowers from lots of places. Don’t order from this company it just shows they don't really care. My husband always orders from Bloomex and no issues there always taking care of the customers.

Ordered the one year subscription to be delivered on the 3rd of each month for a reason. Received the first one and the second one never arrived! Tried calling and emailing and finally spoke to someone who will look into it and never got back to me. Now received an email that because of the corona virus there will be delays. Would have been nice to have been notified so I could have made alternate arrangements. Very disappointed in this company. Chose a monthly subscription so I could have flowers delivered without the stress at this difficult time and this has caused me much more stress. I could have easily ordered myself every month from a reliable flower company. NOT impressed. Stay away!!!

This company is definitely a scam. Flowers are not what is promised, it is deliberately impossible to talk to a human for customer service, flowers arrive dead and crushed, they charge you for things you didn't order. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I ordered a 3 month subscription of flowers. The first bouquet came damaged, water dripping out and looked horrible. I provided feedback asking for a refund on the other two bouquets but I was told no. They told me I had to pay more for the shipping in order to ensure the product isn't damaged...poor customer service. Never ordering from them again.

Terrible experience. Paid extra to have the flowers delivered on a specific date and they didn't arrive until 6 days after. They arrived in a big box with piece of wet paper towel on the base, a day after the delivery notification was provided. The flowers were damaged and nowhere near the depicted image on the website. The cost for this flower arrangement was $95 PLUS extra for the "guaranteed" delivery.

was gifted a flower subscription here.....unless you nag them every week you will not get the flowers that were paid for. if you dont nag them that you didnt get your flowers, you do not get flowers. when nagged repeatedly, you can see that they issue the order (the mail sticker is generated after your emails) they send a very small bouquet of sub par flowers (grocery stores have better quality) that are usually broken and leaking water during transport. how is this company still around?

Would not ever recommend this company. After numerous calls from the delivery driver to ensure someone would be home to accept the plant it was still delivered completely frozen and dead. Customer service told me I shouldn’t order perishable items. I will never ever order from here again advise others to do the same.

Do not use this service if you actually want to receive your flowers and expect coherent customer service. And no, I'm not exaggerating. I started a 3 month bi-weekly subscription as a gift for Mother's Day. The first bouquet arrived a week before the specified delivery date. The second bouquet didn't arrive at all. After contacting Heart & Thorn customer service via email, I was told that "sometimes they have difficulty delivery to P.O. boxes at post offices because of the size of the package", even though the post office where the box is located can collect packages of all sizes and is open during regular business hours, and the first package was delivered just fine. They told me the only solution was to "try delivering again" and that I had to pay the re-shipping fee. They refused to pay the reshipping fee, and refused a refund I requested for the bouquets I hadn't received yet, and eventually stopped responding entirely. The conversation was difficult to manage because every time I messaged them back, a new person responded who didn't seem to have read any of the previous correspondence. It was completely incoherent. Basically, I've now been left without knowing if or when any of the future bouquets will arrive, and without a refund or any next steps. Literally, the worst customer service experience I've ever had. It's not worth your time or money to use this service.

My family ordered a year long subscription of flowers to be delivered, monthly from this company. The first order arrived TOTALLY dead. A huge arrangement, dried - DEAD. The company refused to refund us for the dead flowers and further refused to refund the balance of the year-long subscription. They were clear that despite the fact that we may continue to receive dead flowers, monthly, they were not responsible due to the fact that even though we spent $400 on flowers, we SHOULD have spent more $$$ for next day delivery. Abhorrent business practice. Truly and entirely horrible. Do not do business with this company. Do not.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!! One star is too many yet we have to give it to make a review! Order sent one month too late and the flowers arrived in a terrible state! The roses smelt rotten and their petals had fallen off. The other flowers were almost dead. Most of them crushed. Over the past few weeks we had repeatedly asked Heart & Thorn to cancel and refund the three month subscription my daughter bought for my birthday. They will not respond. I had ordered the Eternal Tranquility bouquet for mother's day which included white calla lilies surrounded by white hydrangeas as well as a bottle of wine and cheese. But instead of lilies they had sent roses. They were still beautiful and healthy but the wrong flowers. I didn't receive an email saying they were out of the lilies and were going to change them or anything, they just arrived like that. The wine and cheese were correct, the packaging was very nice and they arrived on time, so I'm giving them three stars. I would have preferred to have been notified in case I wanted to change my mind on the arrangement.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. - I paid for a 12 month subscription . I received a package the first month. Not even the actual package I requested. No deliveries for the subsequent months . Trying to work with their customer service is useless. They don't usually get back to you, and when they do it's a template that doesn't apply to my problem. I've spent more than enough time trying to dispute the charges than its worth. POOR POOR POOR !!!! 0 Stars !

The flowers are really nice. I chose the pastel style with a 3 month subscription. The florist putting together the bouquet did an excellent job each time. However, the business has a huge opportunity with its payment processing and delivery dates/expectations. The first month the payment was taken out correctly and flowers delivered in a timely manner. However, in the subsequent months payments were taken early in the month with the flowers delivered very late in the month. If you are looking for the flowers to be delivered on a particular day each month I would not recommend the subscription service. However, if you do not mind the late delivery and are indifferent to the payments coming out of your bank account randomly, then the flowers are nice. The additional $15 delivery for months 2 and 3 were a little bit of a pain as well as I did not expect them and it was not very clear that you would be charged these on the website. Overall, flowers are nice but the business mechanics need some work. Hope this helps !

I am challenged by my choice to select Heart & Thorn. I selected a 12-month subscription (which I paid in full). After the delivery date was 2 weeks delayed, I sent an email. No response. I called and left voice messages over the course of 3 days. Regardless of the extension, no one was available and no return call. After a second email, I was able to get response - BUT - it provided no details as to why my shipment was late nor any recourse for recovery. Blamed it on the “courier” they could not identify. After the arrangement finally arrived (4 weeks late), it was NOT what I would have ever anticipated (with pictures to prove). All this under a pre-paid plan, yet I still get a $15 “per month charge” for a “monthly fee”? I will give them one more month to redeem themselves at which point I will report to Better Business Bureau and report it as “fraudulence” to my credit card.

Only giving 1 star because I can't give zero. I made the mistake of ordering a 3 month subscripton. 1 month got delivered, the following months I was charged for additional delivery, but nothing was ever sent. The company doesn't respond to emails, no one is picking up phone lines. i have tried to contact on facebook, and through their live agent support on website, and get nothing. At this point I can only assume the company is a scam. ALso, the 1 month of flowers I got were pitiful. a dozen red roses, with some babies breath as the "designer's choice". It was dated and tacky. Not worth the money I paid for AT ALL.

Not only would they not offer a refund, they wouldn't even let me cancel the rest of the subscription, so my mom keeps getting dead flowers every month.

I don't usually write reviews but my experience with Heart&Thorn was so bad I felt I needed to. I ordered flowers as a birthday surprise for someone, and paid to have them delivered on the day of the birthday (May 12th). The flowers did not arrive. I called several times - on the day itself, as well as in the weeks that followed. The phone line just rang out every time. I left voicemails asking for a call back or an update, but heard nothing. I emailed them several times too, and was just ignored. The flowers turned up, out of the blue, on May 22nd. They are pretty, but close to two weeks late, and thus a bit redundant as a birthday surprise. There was no acknowledgement of the delay, or anything else. I've still not had a reply to my emails or calls.

I ordered two gifts from this company for next day delivery. One was delivered fine. The second has and still is an absolute nightmare. I have been given vague responses around my "failed delivery" only to finally hear back from a CSR that it was delivered to the wrong address. I was then ghosted by multiple reps and most recently told that I will have to pay $30 to reship and it will take another 5-7 business days. How can this company get away with this? You admitted YOU made a mistake and now you're ignoring my emails, phone calls and asking me to spend more money and time on your admitted mistake? I still haven't gotten a response or refund. This is incredibly shady business practices and I will be reporting if I do not hear back today.

I bought a floral subscription for my sister's 60th birthday who lives in Canada. Since COVID-19, she has not been able to even see her adult children and grandchildren who live less than 10 miles away but a few times this year. We both have a love of flowers. She LOVES them. Said they are the most beautiful flowers, brighten her day and have really lasted a long time!! I had never done a subscription like this before...I"m so glad I did. I highly recommend Heart & Thorn!!!

I ordered a 3 month flower subscription I received my first bouquet frozen and dead, which they did replace. I was then charged twice in one month, which again they apologized for and told me I would not be charged again. I have just been charged again. Therefore I have paid for 4 bouquets and have only received 2. I have spent hours in attempt to resolve the above and many more order/CC charge issues and I will say the one male is customer service agent is VERY defensive and hostile.. cuts you off when asking questions or verifying information. Doesnt make me feel like a valued customer, as if he is mad I am calling about being over charged. Big disappointment. Would not recommend...

Never would I ever recommend this company to anyone. I paid for the first month and it too a month back and forth and finally got the flowers. Paid the second invoice for the second month and 2 months later nothing has been received. I am out $170. Buyer beware as it is considered a subscription so your credit card company requires proof of cancellation to refund you which this company refuses to allow you to cancel despite no product being received. You are unable to get ahold via phone or email. If they respond it is weeks later asking another question which then when you respond they don't respond.

I had an extremely poor experience with this company. I ordered a flower subscription service for Mother's Day from their website and was charged on May 1st. Delivery was said to be guaranteed on the day I picked (May 8th), but we are still awaiting any kind of product on May 20th. Trying to reach the merchant was met with a very confused man who wasn't sure how I got the number for Heart and Thorn. I was then brushed off and given a number for another company. Trying to call back was also met with a now disconnected number. I recommend not giving this company any money -- the service is non-existent, and information on their website is simply fraudulent in my opinion.

Bouquet was massive and beautiful. Was delivered with alot of notice and updates which I love. I even had to change the address for my next delivery and they helped really quickly. Buyer beware. I purchased a 3-month flower subscription and have had nothing but issues with this company. I received a notification saying the driver was on the way and waited for a phone call to buzz him into my building, but never received a call. Once I saw they were at the building for a minute or two, I tried to message the driver through the company’s app, but I never received a response there either. I then received a notification saying the delivery was unsuccessful as no one was home/didn’t answer the phone, even though no one attempted to call me. I then called the company’s phone number, but of course this company’s customer care department does not take phone calls. I then tried to call the sales department to ask for advice on what to do and all they could do was read from their script and say “as you were not home for your delivery, there is a $38 redelivery fee”. I explained to the sales rep that no one called my phone number but all she could tell me was that I needed to pay more if I wanted to receive flowers. So, now it’s been over a week and I’ve requested to have a customer care representative call me on numerous occasions and still nothing. The company is not acknowledging that no one called me upon the delivery and will simply write an email back saying that if I want the flowers, it’s a $38 fee first. Truth be told, I’m not confident I will receive flowers on their redelivery attempt so I cancelled my subscription. So, now I’ve paid money for flowers I have not received. Long story short, if you want to receive terrible customer service and pay for flowers you'll never receive, then this is the company for you! If not, I’d strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

I am so upset with my experience with this company. I ordered a large bouquet of “contemporary” flowers which were supposed to be a “unique arrangement of rare florals.” - their words, not mine. Wilting tulips were what was delivered. These were not cheap at all. I have been trying to get support around this but haven’t heard anything since the beginning of last week. Please do not support this company. They are an absolute scam. Save your money and look into a smaller business.

I ordered three items for a birthday present. Two of three arrived on time and were nice quality, appreciated by the recipient. When I asked for a refund for the missing item, then followed up a few days later, it took a week and a half before someone finally responded and said I would be refunded for the missing item. I am still waiting for the refund (now almost a month later). I have followed up two times since the first response and haven't heard back in weeks. Will not order from them again. Update: it's now four months since I placed this order and I still have not gotten a refund. They've also just completely stopped responding to me. So they've essentially stolen my money. JUST STAY AWAY....Edit: Just after Christmas, I placed (and prepaid) for an order of '1 bouquet of flowers for the next 6 months'. It was after this that I read all the negative reviews and was so worried that I was going to regret my decision to use Heart & Thorn...and in the end, I was regretting it. The recipient received their first bouquet of flowers in December and was happy with them. The reason for the 1 star...as per a lot of other reviews here...the next months delivery still has not been sent. If you try to call the company to find out about the delivery, your call will go in circles and you wont be able to talk to anybody. If you push a button to ORDER flowers, you will get a live person but it's a different department from 'complaints' and they cannot help you. They tell you to email your complaints. When I did that, it took 3 days to get a response which was basically, 'there are delays due to Covid and delivery backlogs' . If that's the case, why are they still accepting new orders? Anyway, I've lodged a complaint with my credit card and hopefully they will resolve this and get my money back. Do not use this company or you'll have nothing but regret and frustrations.

Extremely disappointed in the final product which was delivered. I chose to up the amount of roses in bouquet to 10- only 9 arrived. That probably would have been fine had the bouquet looked anything like the one on the website display. A phone call informing that they are unable to produce that particular (looking) bouquet due to lack of supply would have been good customer service- with the option to change up. Instead a very embarrassing bouquet arrived.

I placed an on order for a 3 month flower delivery subscription in December 2020, as a gift for a friend. When she received her flowers I was disappointed to hear that they were significantly damaged and broken. I contacted customer service, received an automated response saying that they would get back to me within 2-4 business days. I never heard back. I responded to the automated response at the end of December, no response. I emailed them a week ago, no response (not even an automated one this time). I called them and you aren't able to speak with anyone, they just say to leave a message. My friend has not received her second flower delivery. This is SO frustrating. DO NOT order from this company, they have horrible customer service and their product is not good. The reviews on their website do not match google reviews, so they must be filtering them. BEYOND ANNOYING. DO NOT support this company.

OMG I live in the UK and ordered what looked like a beautiful terrarium for my friend in Vancouver. It arrive completely damaged as the packing of the gift was so bad. She was really upset and when I emailed the company they said it had perished and i should have paid for Express delivery and they would not replace or refund! It was damaged as it was so baldy packaged and it wasn't even the one I ordered but a poor substitute - terrible service and as I live overseas not sure who to go to for help.

I wasn’t pleased with the delivery service but in the end things worked out ok hence 4 stars. The herb garden and flowers came late in the day one day after the birthday. I had ordered them to be delivered on the birthday. Because delivery took four days the herb garden was quite sad looking when it arrived but my MIL watered it right away and it seems to be doing ok. Overall I felt communication was less then optimal. After submitting a question request only half of my inquiry was ever responded to. But as I said above, in the end everything turned out ok. She was pleased with the gift.

EMAILS only to be told in the limited replies I have received that a refund will not be issued due to 'policy' and I have gotten no response on how they will make good after not delivering on a service I have already pad for. I ordered the Starbucks Coffee Gift Basket for a friend's birthday as he is a big Starbucks fan. When the basket was delivered to his house, I was dissappointed to hear that it didn't inclued the Starbucks coffee like the photo on their website. Hence the name of the basket: "STARBUCKS COFFEE Gift Basket" I understand that if they don't have a specific product on hand, they would substitute it with another brand. Would have appreciated it if they had told me that. It would have been a good gesture on their part. I called Customer Service three times to make sure that they had the same products on hand as they did on their website for this particular basket. They didn't answer the phone so I left a message but no one returned my call. So I took the risk and ordered it anyway. If I knew they didn't have it, I wouldn't have ordered that particular basket. On a positive note, I did appreciate that they delivered the basket at a reasonable time.

First order wasn't as expected. Plant was tipped over in shipping box. Not much H&T can do about that. The roses ordered had brown edges. When I let Customer service know they directed me to their FAQs that say they done recommend shipping live goods. Not sure I understand that from a company that ships live goods. I'll update if the next months order in my subscription is better.

SCAM ALERT!!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!! Do not order from this company. I paid for $700 for a 6 month flower subscription. NO FLOWERS have ever been shipped or received. They say that the fault is with the shipping companies. NOT TRUE since they actually never fulfilled any of the orders. No shipping confirmation with tracking numbers of any kind have been provided to prove their claims. The website and phone number are a SCAM no one answers phone calls, emails, or online chats. I hope people read this before ordering to avoid having their MONEY STOLEN. I have since reported this company to THE CANADIAN ANTI-FRAUD CENTRE and encourage anyone else who has been a victim of this company to do so as well.

RUN AWAY! This company is a total fraud, never received my order, does not answer by mail, phone, chat. I asked for a refund, no answer. They stole my money. These people should be in jail.

this slightly a self error but the glue holding the cardboard rapping to the outside of the vase was overly strong. while trying to remove the glue the vase slipped out of my hand and broke. Other then that the flowers looked and smelt beautiful

Please do not waste your money with these charlatans. I bought a three month flower subscription as a birthday present because they came with a named day delivery guarantee. On the day they were due to be delivered I received a dispatch confirmation note but the flowers never arrived. I tried to ring numerous times but the number always rang out, I e-mailed customer services and received an automated response saying I would hear back in 24-48 hours (I still haven't heard back 14 days later) and also attempted contact via the chat facility to no avail. 10 days after the original date the flowers were due for delivery they randomly turned up but by this time the birthday had passed and I had bought an alternative gift. Who knows if the rest of the subscription will arrive and, if so, when. Communication, satisfactory order fulfilment and customer service is non-existent with this retailer and the comms they do send are blatantly totally fabricated (ie. the dispatch note). Unsurprisingly there was no issue with their payment processing and efficient ability to take my money...I have ended up out of pocket and the person I had purchased the gift for did not get a present on their birthday. Total joke of a company.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST! I ordered a 12 month flower subscription for my mother's 75th Birthday in March for nearly $700.00, which I paid for in full! For that she received 1 bouquet (earlier than requested) and NOTHING ELSE. Four emails, four phone calls and 2 extra delivery charges later I have finally asked to cancel and get my money back. Not convinced that will happen either! When I called I had to go to new orders because they were the only ones that answer the phones. When I asked the man (his name was QUINTON), what the problem with delivery was he said "no idea", when I asked if I would see my money back in the 10 day time frame he said, "within that BLANKET time frame" and when I asked the name of his supervisor so that I could follow up if needed he refused! Seven F rating in the Better Business Bureau. A one star rating is even WAY TOO GENEROUS!

I ordered what was supposed to be a succulent boat but product arrived in a small glass bottle with 3 pieces of succulents . I contacted customer service and was advised there is super fine line in their policy that they can completely substitute the product. I felt like I am being cheated by their business practice. Its like you thought you had paid a lot for something then you were given something else. Totally deceiving. Please be aware to avoid disappointment. Obviously this business will be a writeoff on my book!

????????????????STOP -it's a scam. 1st one might come but no service or customer service after that. Don't be fooled by their online reviews clearly they have either bought and turned a previously successful company into a scam or they have altered their own reviews. Adding to this just got charged another $15 despite no product and subscription was paid in full.

Buyer beware! Would not give any stars because of the quality of the flowers. This was a wonderful gift of a six month subscription but right from the beginning the flowers have been POOR quality. The second day you would see the flowers wilting. Calling Customer Service is useless....they don’t answer. However when you call as a new customer they answer...hum! This is the third month of my subscription the packaging and presentation were good but unfortunately the roses started wilting and turned brown very quickly.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THEY WILL CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU EXTRA FEES AFTER THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT AND DELIVERIES WILL BE LATE AND NOT WORTH IT! Jan 2021: Ordered a flower subscription for my mother. The flowers received were disappointing quality for the price paid - very small bouquet of a few roses and baby’s breath for “designers choice”. I asked to cancel my remaining subscription deliveries and they refused since I had paid upfront. Don’t order from this company March 2021 UPDATE: After no communication from the company regarding the second delivery, I tried to contact them twice and received zero response. Then a week after the expected delivery date, a giant box full of packing peanuts showed up at my mother's house with another sad bouquet. The company has also had the audacity to send me an invoice for a "February month fee" of $16. No idea why. Would have assumed my original payment of over $250 for three bouquets would be enough but apparently not!! As I said before, DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Zero stars would be appropriate. DO NOT USE HEART & THORN OR ANY COMPANY RELATED TO HAZELTON. Guaranteed delivery on requested date - nope. Hand delivered - went through a parcel service company, so no hand delivery. Parcel company used specifically states that they do not ship live plants - Heart & Thorn used them anyway. Ordered a mint plant, received an Orchid, a broken Orchid. Dirt from plant loose in the bottom of the box. Ordered a specific wine - got a substitute. Ordered crossword and a soduku puzzle books - missing altogether. Spent hours on hold waiting for an agent and when a customer “service” person answered, they couldn’t answer basic questions. One person hung-up on us.

I would never order from here again. My plant showed up in a broken box. The plant had been broken in transit and also froze. But I do not get any refund or a plant resent. It was almost impossible to reach someone finally by email. To find somewhere in fine print that it's my fault and no one will help. It took the same lady four days to respond to canceling my subscription. Also75$ for a small plant and showed up like that. Don't be fooled. There are WAY better companys out there. I order plants from another company shipped from same place they air lifted free and pants got here above and beautiful and I got 6 plants 6 planters and soil for 20$ more then here and all alive and everything to transplant!!!!!! WORST COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I would be embarrassed and appalled if this was my business. I actually rate -10 stars but they won't let me also the email wouldn't take me here to post if I dont click the 5 star.. this place is a joke with low budget plants and service. BUYERS BE AWARE.

BEWARE! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!! I placed an order for a gift basket with wine to be delivered January 16. I paid in full. Not only did the basket never arrive, but they won't respond to my emails and their 800 number doesn't answer calls. At this point in time I can only conclude that this is a scam. RUN AWAY from these guys - Order elsewhere unless you like flushing your money down the toilet.

I ordered a $90.00 herb garden for Mother’s Day, 2021 from Heart & Thorn. What my Mother-in-Love received was a $45.00 succulent garden, about 8” long with three small plants (also on the website) and a $10.00 box of chocolates. Customer service did reply to my email, responding that they had the right to make substitutions of equal or greater value when product is unavailable and that they had far too many orders to contact the customer when they needed to do so. I do not argue the fact that they have the right to substitute; it’s under Terms and Agreement. I wrote back to say that the fact that they had a high volume of orders does not negate their responsibility to their customers and the value sent was in NO way of equal value and to please do the right thing. I have not heard back.

Heart & Thorn is terrible. I paid for a full year of monthly flower deliveries for my wife. The first order was delivered with the vase broken and glass shards in the flowers. No refund or new flowers provided when I called customer service. Now, several months in, they're demanding additional delivery fees even though I paid for a fill year up front. They're garbage. Do not buy from them.

I would never use this company again. I ordered an herb garden. A plant was delivered on the correct day but it was completely NOT what we ordered. Not herbs. Nothing close to what we ordered.I have called 3 times - no one answers. I did leave a message but they never got back to me. I have emailed. I have used their “chat assistants” - though the chat never connects to a person. Avoid this company.
