Beautiful wine in a beautiful space staffed by extremely knowledgeable and friendly wine experts. Stay for a glass there, or take a bottle to go. Way nicer than going to the LCBO plus you can learn a lot about wine. Plus they've got snacks!

An err in communication and standoffish staff lead to a disappointing night and a regretful $62 spent. Decent selection of wine in this retail store but I’d have been better off choosing my own than asking for advice. I was apologized to that it’s “not what I expected” but the problem is that I was sold the wrong thing. Never even asked for a refund- just some compassion. The wine we ended up with was just fine, but good Slovakian wine be purchased at a lower price point than what we paid here. And if you’re looking for some bubbly reds— make sure you read the bottle! Sometimes the staff might be unsure it seems. They seem knowledgeable but slightly aloof

In COVID times, we reached out to the Grape WItches for a curated virtual tasting as a way to celebrate a thirtieth birthday and they absolutely blew our minds. I asked them to recommend the wines, kept throwing new people to be included, and included a couple from another province. In every ask they far exceeded expectations, were friendly, and were well organized. The tasting itself was educational, and very fun, and the wines were a real highlight. The choices made for our group were unanimously loved, with new regions and tastes for even the most taste-travelled among us. We will absolutely be going back to them, and we cannot wait for things to open back up so we can visit their space to savour wines, learn, and laugh some more.

Simply the best. Best natural wine selection with the best knowledge, fun and ethics behind it all. Staff are amazing and wildly knowledgeable about these unusual wines. Beautiful and causal back patio for the perfect hang. Stop by to have a few sips from the huge natural by the glass list, leave with a few bottles and sign up to do some of their fun tastings at home with your partners or friends — best way to learn about wine is by drinking!

The best wine store in Toronto. Each time I purchase a bottle I ask for assistance from one of the ladies. EVERY SINGLE TIME they point me to a perfect bottle for the occasion. Whether looking for a meal pairing, searching for a gift or finding something that fits our taste they know just what to recommend. The selection is incredible and constantly changing. I haven't yet had a chance to visit the patio but would like to do so next summer. Keep it up Grape Witches!
