I’ve been here twice for wine tasting and both times were fantastic. The owner served us the first time, and was extremely informative and friendly. Lauren served us the second time and was just as friendly and informative. The red wines and the Riesling and sparkling wines were fantastic. The reds are so full bodied and dry which is what I like. I generally don't like white wine but the Chardonnay was so fresh and delicious. I highly highly recommend this winery. They also have charcuterie boards which looked amazing! 10/10 I would come back here

My husband and I stopped in, after we had a recommendation from someone we met while at another winery. What an amazing experience, from start to finish. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our waiter (who I believe is the owner), was so knowledgeable about the wines and the notes in those wines. The atmosphere made us feel like we were part of the family which included live music. Would 100% recommend if you’re in the area and looking for both an amazing atmosphere and wines!

Went on a wine tour on Thursday with my wife, through White Oaks Resort. This winery was third on our list, and in our opinion the best one. The owner, I think he was the owner lol (my wife and I had a few drinks at this point) gave us a tour of the vineyard; he was friendly, welcoming and very informative. We had 4 different wines and they were all good, we even bought a bottle of Freedom. Nice outdoors seating area to drink. Although it is the smallest vineyard, I think in Niagara, it was our favourite. It had that small business and very passionate about wine feel. Def coming back when in the area again.

We did the ice and sparkles tasting that had a sparkling wine, sparkling rosé and a Vidal ice wine. These were each perfectly paired with chocolate truffles from Rocky Mountain, in the town of Niagara on the Lake. This is was perfect for our dessert course as we hopped in here right after lunch. The wines were amazing. The ice wine paired with a dark chili chocolate was life changing! This winery is pretty new and is the smallest in the region. Definitely check them out for a personalized experience and some delicious wines. Our guide/server was very warm and welcoming.

Small but mighty! our "go to" place when we have friends/family visiting the area because it does not disappoint. We have tried most of their wines and although it's a struggle to pick our favourite, we typically purchase the cab franc or the chardonnay ( by the case lol) to take home to enjoy. The owner is very knowledgeable and super friendly. If you are interested in learning about viticulture, this is the best winery to visit since you can meet the maker himself.

Was recommended by our hotel and multiple other wineries. Only open for a few months to the public and tasting led by the winemaker, a 27-yr old up and coming phenom who I suspect will take the region by storm very quickly. Very knowledgeable, great range of wines, all of quality at reasonable/justifiable prices. Definitely one of our core places to go to and buy from regularly.

We were touring a number of wineries today and stopped in here. It is relatively new and we met with the winemaker himself as we sampled three different wines. We tried his reisling which was crisp and fresh tasting like McIntosh apples. Surprising and lovely. Bought a couple of bottles to take home. We will come back to this special find in Niagara.

Had an amazing time at Di Simone vineyards. Our group of two really appreciated the authenticity and groundedness of the staff. They were also very prompt with their communications and kind enough to let us stay a few mins past close so that we could continue to enjoy our experience. These details translated into a very positive experience. We participated in the Big Reds in Big Glasses tasting and really loved the unique features of the Cab Franc. Our guide, Kyle was exceptionally knowledgeable of the all details in the winemaking process and very personable. We loved hearing his stories of how the vineyard has come to be what it is today. He is a definite asset to this vineyard. A definite hidden gem that we can't wait to come back :)

Our experience at De Simone Vineyards was amazing. It is evident that this vineyard cares deeply about what goes into the glass. A small facility producing around 1000 cases per year. What brings me back to this winery time and time again is the authenticity and passion of Vincenzo. He so clearly puts his heart and soul into every aspect of the winery. The wines are excellent, and have earned De Simone several medals at wine shows in their first year of business. While the entire portfolio is strong, I must mention a few standouts. The Riesling blends Escarpment and Niagara-on-the-Lake styles to create something familiar, unique, and wonderful. The Merlot is a smooth and sleek red with elegance and finesse. The Cabernet Franc is an aromatic powerhouse with a nose that goes on for days. And the Vidal Icewine has a concentration and intensity like few others in the region. What I find particularly fascinating is Vincenzo's winemaking approach that combines innovation and tradition. His work with Vidal as both a dessert wine and a quality table wine shows the versatility of the varietal in a way few others do around here. And some of the upcoming wines will certainly impress. In addition to fine wines, there are also preserves and sauces made by the family, locally sourced honey (with some coming from the winery's own hive), olive oil and balsamic, and several other products that will catch your eye and interest. Do yourself a favour and visit De Simone Vineyards on your next visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You'll be thankful you did.

A small hidden gem in the heart of the Niagara-on-the-Lake wine country.

We loved DeSimone. We ended up visiting after a full day of wine tastings. We had often passed by De Simone on our many visits to the region but had never entered. What a pleasant surprise. The small and family run winery is full of an obvious commitment to the enjoyment of wine and the importance of details and quality. Having tried hundreds of wines in the Niagara region, one find that many are very similar. Not so at De Simone. Each varietal had its own character and was completely enjoyable. Their "horse series" was easy to drink, accessible, but still with tons to experience, while their Chardonnay and Merlot were an experience. The small staff, especially our host Kyle, were super and only made the experience more enjoyable. Kyle was excellent guiding us through the tasting, telling us about the winery's history and passion, while also brining a personal touch with his stories about his own start at the winery. We will be back and will definitely share our passion for our new find.

Oh where do we even being. Vincenzo is a sweetheart and one of the most passionate wine makers in the region. The winery is new and just establishing itself in the region, but it is off to a fast start. A De Simone, our favorite wines were the Cab Franc and surprising Vindal (not ice wine). Better yet, Vincenzo was open and ready to share the love with fellow wineries. He ended up recommending a star studded list of small, local-owned establishments with unique characteristics. Absolutely wonderful! We visited with a very large tour group and had the pleasure of having the owner/winemaker do the tasting presentation. Their reisling is by far the best reisling I have ever tasted and had to have 2 bottles to take home.

Low production and fine crafting. This winery produces approx 1000 cases annually, so beyond small. The wines are excellent, as is the service. Chances are, you will meet the winemaker since, in all likelihood he is doing your tasting. I can't say enough good things about this winery.

I was in Niagara on the Lake for a family reunion and decided to stop in this winery. The wines are phenomenal and the personal tour from the wine maker made the visit that much more memorable. I will have to head back down there to pick up their amazing desert wines, we bought 2 of each along with his other wines and are already in need of restocking our bar.

Six of us had a blind wine tasting evening at our home. Four of us are wine connoisseurs who have travelled all over the world tasting wines. We drank a $100 bottle of 2009, Antiche Cantine dei Marcchesi di Barolo, from Barolo, Italy, as well as a $250 bottle of 1998, Chateau Lynch Bages Grand Cru Classe from Pauillac, France. We also added to our assortment of six bottles a $55 bottle of 2018, Merlot, from De Simone Vinyards, Niagara on the Lake, here in Ontario. We were amazed and surprised to uncover this gem!! We found this merlot to be a full bodied red, with wonderful tannins. Everyone placed this De Simone Merlot at the top of their list!! Hands down it was a winner above the rest! Pick up a case today. You will not be dissappointed.

This was a surprise stop on our wine tour of five wineries. This was by far the best of them all! Small Talk, Konzelman, Gretzky’s, Between the Lines and De Simone blew them all away! The staff was friendly and the facility was nice. The owner gave us a wine tasting and my group of 10 all loved their wine. The owner also gave us an excellent tasting, explained their wines very well and had us all guess a mystery wine that kept us guessing. The owner also signed all of our bottles that we purchased from his store. Excellent job Mr De Simone! You have 10 raving fans ????

We are from Windsor and enjoy going to Niagara Falls every fall for a quick getaway..One of our first stops was DiSimone Winery..The visit was enjoyable and the owner interesting.. Our favourite was a 2015 Cabernet Franc and we brought a bottle home..It is two months later and we had our bottle with a Carbonara pasta and it was an absolute delight..5 stars! Driving along Niagara Stone Road and happen to see this new winery on the right. We did a u-turn, and decided to try it! We are so absolutely happy that we did make the stop. The owner greeted us at the counter, welcomed us into his brand new winery, and offered us a sampling of three wines for $5! because it's a new winery just starting out, there is a small selection of wines available for tasting, however, all were excellent! We truly enjoyed our experience at this Winery and it is a must stop for anyone in the Niagara on the Lake area. So far, we've been to over a dozen Wineries and this was our favorite!

By far the best in person experience to be had at a beautiful winery in the heart of Ontario's wine country. Very friendly wine maker and staff. Cannot express quite how magnificent the atmosphere was! I tried the Vidal, sauvignon blanc, and cabarnet. All of which were outstandingly delicious. I just cannot wait to return for all my local wine needs. I found it totally worth purchasing an artistically branded corkscrew on my way out!

Vince is leading the way on the new crisp pale style of Rose, very much en vogue right now. Reds were solid, "campfire" note Merlot is a must try. Picking up a decanter tomorrow to really open up the CabSauv I brought home with me!
