Excellent service and clean setting for a scenic dinner post Oliver Triathlon. The meat is well prepared and sides are generous. A wonderful place for a romantic dinner date or family get together. Pricing with regards to location and quality is very fair. Highly recommend the drive up to this place. We will be back.

Please don't go here. Doesn't look like they follow any Covid protocols.

I’m going to need the Autumn Gold on tap, thanks.

My husband and I were in the area and arrived to buy wine. We had sussed out what we wanted. First stop Wild Goose. We walked in. I scanned the wall. The clerk didn’t ask us what we were looking for. I said I wanted to buy some wine. She barely exchanged a word and simply placed a wine list on the checkout counter as another couple arrived soon after. She left us and promptly went to them. I thought strange. We had just arrived ourselves. A second clerk came and I placed my order. She began to input it into her system as a boisterous group came in from the bistro to commence tasting. The second clerk also stopped midway and left us in the middle of our transaction to line glasses along the bar for the new bistro crowd while I stood there with my CC in hand. Both my husband and I looked at each other. I was prepared to leave at that point. My husband did leave. I couldn’t believe what was going on. At no time were we asked what we were looking for or did we wish to taste anything. It was the strangest experience. The second clerk returned to ring me out. Placed 3 bottles in a bag. Clink. Clink. I was thankful to have a box in the car to separate the bottles. ... Sorry Wild Goose. The flock must have flown South already leaving the stragglers who serve behind.

Life in the OKANAGAN Canada

Known for their Riesling among other varietals, Wild Goose is a friendly OK Falls stop. During their holiday open house, staff and owners baked treats for a cookie bake off that all guests could vote for 'best cookie'.

If you are in the area stop for wine and food at their Bistro! The food was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed the wine!

Mediocre, at best Tried the Mac'n'Cheese and the lunch salad. Started with tea in a dirty cup. With the next cup, the water was not hot - in addition, they had only Earl Grey. I like that tea, but I had expected they would have regular tea. The Mac'n'Cheese lacked cheese and flavour. They serve 2 BBQ sauces on the side, which were equally flavourless. Would not go back.

We called ahead to see if we could get in for a tasting as we did not have a reservation and were told it was okay. We showed up 5 minutes later and the lady in the shop looked at us like we were crazy for walking in. She indicated she had a 2 people set to show up and she couldn't possibly help us too (no one else was there when we arrived). I told her I had just called and she went to the back office to see if anyone was available to help us. She returned and said no one was available and no one admitted to taking my call. She said we could wait and see if the others showed up then she would let us in if they didn't show. The experience was all very strange and unfriendly. We choose to leave as it was all very awkward by this point. Interestingly their sign indicates walk ins are welcome.

Best winery I've ever been to!

A hidden gem in the Okanagan! Excellent customer service and delicious wines. We visited Wild Goose on May 30th, a lady with long hair made us feel very welcome (can't remember her name starts with R, I think), she was amazing and personable. The winery was full of people and she was serving 2 tables but she made our experience fun despite the craziness. We love all the wines, floral and yummy! Our tasting rep explained the membership and my family signed up. However, I couldn't help but notice a very grumpy woman with very short hair and no uniform (unlike the other 2), she was banging stuff and made us feel uncomfortable, hence the 4 stars, glad we didn't get her for our tastings!

Great food, view, service, wines, beer. We had apps, mains, etc.

Pizza was very disappointing. Pretty basic very uncreative. Beer was great but did not go there for beer

One of my wife’s favourite wineries. I have been there twice in recent months. Autumn gold was the choice of champions.

Bought a bottle of 2014 Red Horizon Meritage to go with burgers... Yum! Very good smooth taste, went well with dinner ????

Kyle Maclean

Had a great experience there!

We didn't have a reservation for a tasting and sadly Canada Day isn't a good day to drop in and expect a tasting during Covid-19. We'd been here about 8 years ago and knew what we wanted so I asked if the store was open so we could make some purchases, and thankfully that was fine. Our favourite is Autumn Gold which were going to save for Thanksgiving as suggested by the salesperson. Congratulations on the recent awards!

Autumn Gold - if you've never tasted it, do whatever you have to, to come to Wild Goose to taste, and you'll be a customer for them. Guaranteed you'll walk out with a bottle or a case. I know they win all sorts of awards, and you'll see the plaques on the wall of their winery, but the real winner will be you, once you sit down with a glass of their best.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation through Okanagan wine country. Over six days, we visited sixty wineries. You can follow our various locations with this disclaimer. That’s sixty wineries, not an exaggeration. We ended the trip with 120 bottles acquired. On a rather isolated hill just south of Okanagan Falls sits a family of smaller wineries all worthy of a visit. The first two on this list is Wild Goose and Stags Hollow, which is a fifteen-second walk from each other, literally next door. Thus, a visit to one equates to visiting both. But be aware that these wineries are like Anna Kendrick, petite and an acquired taste. But I adore that actress, and I walked away with several bottles that day. The actual tasting rooms are small, and in total, both visits won’t take long, but there is also Liquidity and Noble Ridge nearby, and those wineries are amazing, and it would be crazy to go here without visiting them all, so go do that. About the only thing odd about the location is that because they on a hill, they’re basically beside the highway, but you have a winding route to get where you need to go, but it’s still worth it.

After reading some recently average reviews, we were extremely happy with our experience here. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. There was NO wine tasting fee, which is rare these days, not to mention the very reasonable pricing for the wine. All four of us really liked all of the wines we tasted here!

In all fairness, I have not tried the wines here yet, thus one star for the food. I had come from two other wineries before this one and just needed to eat something though. I will share my experience here. I had just felt I would try the wines here next time around. So, my son and I had asked about their restaurant/bistro and they had smoked meats (southern style), you know, bbq ribs, beef brisket other pork pieces (shoulder) which they called it “pig wings”. So we decided to share a dish (sampler) all their meats. The pictures and the menu illustrates it a little. Meat was flavourless, and dry and, if not completely soaked and doused on, not very good bbq sauce which made the whole dish barely eatable! The corn bread however, was surprisingly tasty but, “what’s wrong with baking fresh every day?!” It was served cold and it just looked and tasted like they bake it once maybe twice a week. Keeping it in the cooler. Not fresh at all! Poor choice! The black bean and the coleslaw were completely unbeatable as well. Terrible food prep and presentation. The server tried her best to make sure I was happy with our meal she even brought some meat without the awful bbq sauce but, to no avail. Their kitchen needs a miracle!!! She was very courteous and friendly but unfortunately that doesn’t make up for a really bad chef and less than palatable food. I will go there again for a wine tasting but, definitely NOT for the food. No matter how hard the staff try to serve you with friendliness, just does not make up for poor choices at the kitchen! Just NOT good at all. They’d be better of just serving a cold cut platter with cheeses and crostini or up their standards at the kitchen! Definitely NOT recommend for the food. Eat some place else before you get there.

The bbq is amazing. Among the best I've had. The Gewürztraminer was delicious and paired nicely with the bbq and hot weather. Will come back for sure for lunch. Love the view as well.

Dawn Robertson

Terrible customer service, horrible, over priced food and disrespectful staff. This winery also featured a restaurant on their open balcony. The pulled pork tator tots were microwaved not baked therefore the cheese dried up quickly and not a very generous portion of pulled pork even though it was the star of this meal. The smoked BBQ pork ribs were tough, dry, raw to the bone so it was not falling off, had alot of grizzle and over priced. My friends and I complained to the waitress and she did not appologize instead she said "OK so what you want to do". After struggling with the third rib we demanded to see the manager. The restaurant manager said "falling off the bone" was not what he was going for and the smokey flavour was his main concern. He did not charge us for the full rack of ribs but charged our bill for 3 full sides at full price even though they were each one spoon full in size. I did not get value for my money or feel like a valued customer. The manager of the restaurant and the waitress did not show any compassion and lacked the skill to rescue the situation. While eating at their open patio restaurant, it rained and we had to move over to a vacant table on our own, ie. without any assistance from the waitress or staff. We skipped the wine tasting because of this bad experience. The manager, the waitress nor the owner in the winery at the tasting section did not appologize. I do not recommend the restaurant at this winery. Buyer Beware.

Good wine but the food is nothing interesting and the service like in a burger place

Aaron J. JacksonCrabb

The food, wine , and total experience were fantastic. Liz was the best hostess and made our experience extra special. Large food portions and great wine to pair it with. I would recommend this winery to everyone.

Michal Utko

Excellent wines in a pretty setting. The Bistro menu looked mouth watering.

Ali Meraji

This winery has bottled up amazing wine for ? I don't know how many years, but we remember it from when the wine shop was a converted garage with cases of wine lining the walls. It has never failed to pour great wine, and now the food patio enhances the experience with good food that is a treat, every time we eat there. I bought a Wild Goose t-shirt there a few years ago, I still wear it with pride and happy memories.

Christopher Weber

Great tasting wines at very affordable prices. The wine tasting itself was a little unimpressive (staff member was simply reading wine descriptions from the bottle, maybe she was new?). However overall worth a visit to try these excellent wines.

We are from out of town did not know we had to have reso and the lady was rude about ..

Kayla Neville

Tried to go to your winery on Monday May 31st for my birthday. We thought the kitchen was open but we must have missed it on the website. Our mistake. However the problem I have is with the woman who greeted us at the door. She was incredibly rude in telling us the kitchen was closed. Her attitude was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I have worked in customer service in the past and don’t get upset by this type of thing very often but this “lady “ was out of line. Thought you should know as we were trying to support local businesses. We will likely not be too willing to support yours in the future.

Karen Karen Karen no not that kind of Karen the best Karen ever. Wine tasting on it own if fun especially with friends. Then you add on intricate story telling pair with good wine makes for a special occurrence. Well done Karen and well done Wild Goose.

Dropped by for a wine tasting, didn't have a reservation but no problem getting in on a Sat afternoon. Wore our masks in and were seated for tasting, hand sani on the table and a paper wine list to choose from. Pleasant server in a face shield was very knowledgeable and gave our group lots of time to test the wines we wanted. Of course we took our masks off to taste but many didn't wear any which seemed fine, but social distancing was enforced and phone numbers are taken. Lovely wines, $5 for tasting but waived if you buy a bottle. Bought the Autumn Gold white blend $17.39 (my fave), the Morio Muscat & Friends $20, and the red blend called Red Horizon $25.22. Nice tasting room, nice bathrooms, and there's a bistro with outdoor seating as well. Lovely little winery we always visit when we come to the area but no longer in the little trailer. Cheers!

Such a beautiful place. The tasting room is great and the staff are so nice, welcoming and helpful. Their wines are unique and well balanced. The food is good too, yummy and nicely prepared. You should visit this place and meet with their great people!

Great wines, amazing food, and very friendly/knowledgeable staff, a must stop place to visit.

Brent Kennedy

Pretty bare bones tasting experience, and the facility is mostly empty. Whereas most other places have displays or doodads to buy, this place is almost completely empty, which kind of gives off a weird vibe. More importantly, the wines were quite good (they're known for their whites), and the balcony is a beautiful place to have lunch or a snack.

One of the best winery in valley

David .Castel

Showed up an hour before closing and was met by a worker who was rude and blunt and told us they closed at 5 despite the sign by the door saying tasting room open until 6, despite having people in there for a tasting already. I'm disappointed by the lack of customer service, I was excited to try but will not be back again. Plenty of other wineries around with friendly staff

We went there for a wine tasting since we knew in 2017, they won best wine of the summer Okanagan wine festival. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We tried 4 wines but also love their Gewurztraminer. It is amazing and a consistent award winner. They have won many awards at various festivals for various wines. You may want to buy wines quickly because last year, they ran out of their best in show Gewurztraminer. I called multiple BC liquor stores to find a couple of the last ones last summer.

My husband and I have been enjoying Wild Goose wine for a decade and we have never been disappointed. Their Autumn Gold is our favourite. I just ordered a case online (which they delivered for free) and got it in a week! Thanks so much Wild Goose!

Kaz G

Went for a family lunch. We were all blown away with the food and wine quality. Service was second the none. The best wine is the small batch wines that we could only get in the restaurant; so happy we experienced the Rosè and the Mertage.

This place was a bit of a snooze fest tbh. I was pretty hot. One good thing was the smokey smell from the kitch. I would rather buy wine from a liquor store. Liquor stores have all kinds of wine to buy.

Sarah Brixton

Great wine, veiws, knowledgeable staff. Good prices as well.

George Robinson

One of our favourite spots! Food is good!

Jason Metcalfe

What a Pleasant Surprise! REAL food and a decent portion! The food tastes great and the prices are quite reasonable. A bit hard to find, the roads are not well marked, but it is definitely worth the effort!
