Our group had the pleasure of tasting here on Saturday. The wines are amazing! The Albariño was my favourite white: crisp, bright, and balanced. The Syrah is amazing (I swear I heard angels sing while tasting it)! The winemaker here knows her stuff and treats each grape with the individuality they deserve. Our tasting made us feel very safe. Very minimal contact. Respectful distances were maintained, sanitizing protocols were exemplary. Our wine flights were pre-poured and presented in 4 carafes, which we poured ourselves. Terry led us through an informative and fun tasting of each, while maintaining the 6 feet physical distancing. The tasting was outside and we were able to drink in the view as we sampled. It makes sense that children cannot be in the tasting room right now. Space is limited due to safety protocols and I made alternative arrangements for my children. Tasting is boring for kids anyway. If you haven’t had an opportunity to visit this winery you really should. The people, the view, and especially the wine make it worth the short drive from Penticton.

Very disappointed! I joined a few wine club subscriptions. This was one of them. Received the first shipment. Was not impressed with the wines but they were “ok”. In March I received a notice from shipping company that they were delivering my wine. I had received no invoice from the winery (though the other wineries always send me an invoice). I contacted stag’s hollow to enquire. I requested an invoice four times with no invoice ever received. I refused the delivery. Stag’s hollow called me but I was away. I responded by email letting the, know I was unable to call back at that time. They noted to me that they attempted to resolve the issue but I was “unwilling” to take the call. Now they are charging a $40 admin fee. Disappointing, petty service! There are so many great wineries in the area with amazing service! I would suggest anyone do more research and try other wineries prior to choosing this winery for the wine club.

The worst tasting experience I've ever had in the valley. We were told not to touch the tables outside because they were just sanitized. We were told to touch the stems of the glasses only because of covid. Our host stood 10 feet away away in while we poured our own wine. I ompletely understand safety protocols need to be in place, but after touring 6 vineyards today, Stags Hollow should reopen after the pandemic. Borderline insulting and completely fear driven experience.

The host was snobbish and not friendly.

This winery and vineyard is a must stop if you are in the Okanagan Falls area! We visited this past weekend spontaneously - we didn't have a tasting booked, but the staff welcomed us right in :) All the wines we tried were excellent, Joane was very friendly and knowledgeable (I had no idea this was one of the oldest wineries in BC), and we enjoyed the view and the gorgeous property! I highly recommend Stag's Hollow and I can't wait to go back!

Had an awesome tasting with Fred today! Definitely recommending this winery. They have an amazing view, they are growing some unique varietals for the area and have some amazing wines! Well done Stag’s Hollow ????

Surprised to see a couple bad reviews here. Visited recently and the staff were pleasant, welcoming, had a great sense of humour. They knew a lot about how the wine was made, why each wine was made the way that it was, etc. Sure, tastings were limited due to COVID restrictions but I’d rather know that a business is following regulations and protecting their staff and customers than be able to taste the wine 15 minutes faster.

I was very disappointed with the service. I was returning to the winery as I wanted to get another bottle of their wine. We were the first of 3 groups to arrive and we were basically ignored until the other groups had their tasting and had to wait again to purchase the wine. :(

The lady that hosted our tasting was incredibly rude. I realize Covid has created stress but the lady had no right to snap at me repeatedly the way she did, even berating me for the way I held the wine glass. She seemed so entitled, as if she was doing me a favor vs making the customer feel welcomed and appreciated. Whoever she was, she is an awful representative for what is good winery. I certainly will never be back. In reading some of the other poor reviews, I see there is a trend at this winery for bad attitudes and poor service. May be a good idea to bring in some new management who appreciate customers and know how to make them feel welcome.

Stopped in for a tasting while biking and it was excellent! Bought two bottles. Highly recommend.

This tasting was my worst experience in the Okanagan. When we walked in the two staff behaved as if they were surprised to see visitors. The staff members gave us nothing but a bad attitude from start to finish. I lived in the OK for years and would recommend this winery to absolutely no one.

Lil was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly & informative about all of the wines!! Thank you for an amazing wine experience!!

We went to Stag’s Hollow in 2020, their safety plan was very good, and had a lovely tasting with manager Erin! The whole team were really friendly! Most importantly, the wines are amazing!!!

Wonderful winery. In the best traditions of the wineries of the region. We got here early, before they opened, so naturally they just opened early for us. As always, the wine was a delight, as are the people and the location. My biggest problem with this winery is picking my favourite wine. I generally buy more than I planned for that reason. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Loved all of the reds I tried here

It would be great if their wine tasting area was bigger. We were a group of about 7. We got shushed (work group - middle aged ladies and a couple of guys). I also got the dregs poured into one of my glasses.

It's rare that I'm so impressed by a Winery I knew nothing about. The tempranillo and dolcetto stole the show but everything we tried was fantastic, the tasting was distanced and safe, and the staff were passionate and knowledgeable. We'll be back here next trip.

Excellent unique wines.

A fun little winery in the falls, I like the hollow where the grapes are grown. The wine is the big reason to go visit, it was hard to decide on what ones I liked best. Unreal!

Great atmosphere to taste wine; our host knew her stuff, and although Covid rules were in effect, did an exceptional job to get us through a wonderful tasting. Some wonderful wines there that surprised us.... they are getting better!

Excellent wines, staff and views.

This is another one of those vineyards that flies under the radar. When passing by, it mostly just looks like a house, but it's absolutely worth a stop. It's a beautiful place to spend a few minutes sipping fantastic and innovative wines.

Bryan Van Lissum

Fantastic always. Get Fred for tastings. Triple A.

Had a wonderful tasting experience at Stag’s Hollow Winery. Beautiful location and excellent wines. Terry was our host and was very knowledgeable about the wines and the area in general. We even got to see a Stag in the Hollow while there! Would definitely recommend.

Visited last weekend. 5* location, 5* wines, 5* staff, would highly recommend. Looking forward to my next visit!!!

Went a couple years ago when I was stocking up my cellar. I wanted to leave a review but never did. The staff were more than a little unwelcoming (almost snobby). This may or may not be the case anymore, but I am restocking my cellar currently. While perusing wineries that we visited last time, Stag's Hollow popped up, and with it a little resentment at being brushed off in such a way

Had a great wine tasting with Traci (spelling) she was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wines. The winery uses some interesting varietals like albarinho and Tempranillo. Left with six bottles! And also new wine club members. Picture shows the beautiful view while tasting. Covid guidelines were followed very well which we appreciated.

My girlfriend and I were on vacation through Okanagan wine country. Over six days, we visited sixty wineries. You can follow our various locations with this disclaimer. That’s sixty wineries, not an exaggeration. We ended the trip with 120 bottles acquired. On a rather isolated hill just south of Okanagan Falls sits a family of smaller wineries all worthy of a visit. The first two on this list is Wild Goose and Stags Hollow, which is a fifteen-second walk from each other, literally next door. Thus, a visit to one equates to visiting both. But be aware that these wineries are like Anna Kendrick, petite and an acquired taste. But I adore that actress, and I walked away with several bottles that day. The actual tasting rooms are small, and in total, both visits won’t take long, but there is also Liquidity and Noble Ridge nearby, and those wineries are amazing, and it would be crazy to go here without visiting them all, so go do that. About the only thing odd about the location is that because they on a hill, they’re basically beside the highway, but you have a winding route to get where you need to go, but it’s still worth it.
