I love Maverick's Rubeus, it's a staple in my wine cellar. The 2016 and 2017 were exceptional because it didn't have the Cabernet Franc. It was the perfect wine for any season, light and lively enough for summer BBQ's and complex and full for winter stews. I do like the 2018 and 2019 Rubeus with Cabernet Franc, it just not as versatile. Their Origin Chardonnay are one of the few Chardonnay's that I will drink. It's lighter and crisper than your usual Chardonnays. I am impressed with all this winery has to offer.

We reserved and paid ahead of time. Winery is great. Janik was super fun and really went above and beyond. Great experience. I didn't get an itemized receipt so I'm not sure if the pre-paid tasting was deducted. Tasting fee is supposed to be removed with purchase of 2 wines. We ended up getting a case of wine. Overall I'd recommend, just remember to request for an itemized receipt.

We've visited this winery twice this summer. I must say it has become a favorite. The garden up the stone steps is lovely for sitting in. The indoor facility is absolutely stunning. The wine is wonderful! A real shining point of this place is the staff. We had a private tasting with janik the first time and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and best of all, hilarious ! The second time we visited we had a lovely chat with Aliya who was delightful! We will be returning !

Stopped into Maverick to taste their ciders. They gladly accommodated us, even without a reservation. Loved the story of their winery, and their take on apple and pear ciders - making their ciders with a splash of wine. And then they treated us to a few tastings of some of their wines. Such a fun experience.

I enjoyed a tasting here. The venue is bright, spacious, clean and modern. The white wines we tried were above standard. They offered a fairly traditional wine tasting experience, I recommend stopping in.

The wines at Maverick have been great for a number of years and with a fresh new winemaker have gotten even better. The Amber Pinot Gris is now a favorite with lots of character, yet easy to pair. The Rubeus is a fantastic value for a Tuesday night red. The Ella is great anytime! We have just tried the cider and have added them to our list of must haves. Excellent winery for virtually any taste!

Maverick is one of those wineries that makes you feel like you’re home from the moment you walk in the door. It’s family owned and you can tell that they bring their high values into their business. Their white wines are to die for! It’s a cool facility with interesting architecture and aesthetics as well (if that matters to you, it doesn’t matter to me). Amazing service and great wine makes this place top notch! Ohhhhh and before I forget. Pre-covid they would host a winemakers dinner event at Backyard Farms. The best time! Great food, awesome people, and just the best energy! I can’t wait to be able to do this again!

I always feel so welcomed by this winery and have enjoyed their delicious wines on several occasions. The staff are knowledgeable and fun to talk with. The tasting room is big and bright plus they have a lovely patio. They make the best wine-infused ciders I’ve ever tasted too. Stopped in at Maverick Estate Winery on our way into town and we’re greeted by such a fun and knowledgeable staff. Even though it was near closing, that staff jumped right into getting us settled and in our tasting session. Dawn, Sharon and Janik were all on staff and made it such a fun experience. Special shout out to Sharon who took us through the tasting experience, she was so fun, and so knowledgeable in the tasting and we couldn’t help but buy a couple of bottles for the road. Will definitely stop in again!!
