What a beautiful place. It's like being in California. The owners did this place right. The staff was friendly. The wines were decent. We only came for the tasting but with live music and a gorgeous setting, it might be a great place to enjoy a relaxed afternoon.

Had a great tasting experience at the winery. Greeted by a sweet lady and the bartender was very good. Free tasting and ended up picking up a bottle of red. Went to the restaurant afterwards and got completely ignored at my table for 10 minutes. Servers walked by and around the table countless times and never said hello or asked to take our order. We ended up walking out and getting food in town for half the price and twice the quantity. I would give the tasting room 4.5 stars and restaurant 1 star.

Romantic & clean!! Our first stay in the villas was March 2017. From the moment we arrived the staff were incredible!! A friendly face guiding us up to the villas to another friendly face Melissa greeting us as we pulled in. The villas are well done and the home made breakfast made by Melissa in the morning was delish!! What a beautifully romantic place. We will be back in the summer!! Always enjoy coming back here. A nicer tasting room/grounds than many of the other wineries in the area, and a personalized touch with the tastings. Covid precautions were in place, so maybe that helped personalize things a bit more as we had a private tasting at the bar (two other tastings were happening at the same time, but spaced out and with their own dedicated staff member). Tasting was complimentary, which is a definite bonus as so many other places seem to be charging for tastings this year and not necessarily waving fees when bottles are purchased. We went there simply to buy my favourite winery exclusive, and stayed for the tasting because it was free and it had been a few years.

Cannot say enough about this winery We have been members for a few years yet every time we go seem to be treated even better. Last year we had the pleasure of doing a tasting in the members lounge with our oldest daughter and her husband (first wine tasting for them) which, of course, due to Covid 19 :( is not open right now. Brought our youngest and her fiance back this summer and again were treated like gold. Thank you Sarah LeFebvre for always sharing your time and knowledge. We will be bringing friends back at the end of September to once again enjoy everything you have to offer. The Rose is AMAZING

Amazing experience at Hester Creek! They allowed us into the tasting room with our pup and even came bearing treats for him. Susan was an amazing host, giving us food pairing suggestions for the wines and had great presentation skills! She was not pushy when it came to selling us bottles or a wine club membership. We felt no pressure here! The wines themselves were amazing and very reasonably priced. Definitely a place to visit again!

Sunday, Aug 2nd, afternoon shift = STELLAR CREW! From the moment we were greeted at the door, to our tasting, to our charcuterie patio experience, everything was amazing. We’ve toured the entire wine region and seen it all (the good, bad and weird). The service at Hester Creek was exceptional and would put Napa / Sonoma / Monterey to shame. (My only feedback would be to change the slow / melancholic patio music.. I’d even settle for smooth jazz).

This one of our favorite wineries. Trebbiano a summer time classic for us. Reds all great, we enjoy them all and tend to stock up when we visit. Very nice patio with some of the best views on the valley. Bread, charcuterie meats and cheese available on site to enjoy on the patio with a bottle of great wine.

Hester creek is certainly a for sure stop on your wine tour. The building and feel is very vintage. Very upscale but the wines are pretty cheap and the wine tastes great. They have higher end wines in the 50 dollar range. Professional and great service. This is a good stop on your tour

We stayed in the villas at Hester Creek for two nights during February for my birthday. What a romantic, relaxing experience. The breakfast is included and is all homemade and absolutely delicious! The sunrise through our wall of windows in the morning was incredible, with views for miles! The villas have a small kitchen area, a huge room with seating and a fireplace, seating outside, and a massive bathroom. Very private, and the ladies that took care of us were very attentive, caring and friendly. It's very centrally located for wine touring, and supper at the restaurant is a perfect way to end the day! We'll go back for sure! Oh, and I love The Judge!

If you haven't been, go! Hester Creek is one of the finest wineries I have been to. We were greeted at the door with a taste of their Pinot Gris and it was excellent. A tasting followed of their red wines. Staff was friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable. Well appointed gift shop with a great selection of novelties and wine collections and assortments. Wine was excellent and we took home several bottles. Will go again, and again. Keep up the great work.

Everything was perfect from the fantastic lunch on the patio at Terra Fina with impeccable service and perfectly prepared food completed with a bottle of Ti Amo bubbly. After lunch we want to the winery and had a nice bottle of Pinot Gris.We were greeted by a wonderful host who directed us to the lady that gave us the wine glasses and wine .To this point everything was 10 out of 10. Then when we went into purchase some wine to take home and dealt with an impatient snappy guy with a bad attitude. Unfortunate this guy with an Australian had to sour a wonderful experience.

A great local winery! Friendly staff who make a point of offering great service. The wine tasting is complimentary which is so refreshing compared to many that charge a tasting fee. Generous tasting and a beautiful grassy area for a picnic. The wine is good and there are several nice reds and whites to choose from. As a result we always recommend this winery to friends, stop in when we are in town, and purchase this wine from the store (available at Save on Foods and BCL) when we are at home!

2 years in a row the poor communication of reservations staff left us with a bad impression.Last year we tried to book for our anniversary, they contacted us back only the day of at 1pm saying they had a table. we had made other plans. This year our 40th anniversary we decided to try again. Made reservation and drove all the way there to find the restaurant closed due to covid. The greeter was apologetic and said we should have been contacted, well no one emailed or called us, not impressed. Well maybe next anniversary we will actually be able to rate something there besides reservations and communication staff????

The wine was delicious, the atmosphere was great. However, the price for a tasting is quite hefty for the amount of wine they give you. Definitely the smallest quantity of wine in a glass than any other winery in the area, and with a higher price point for the tasting.

I am torn between 3 and 4 stars. We had booked a Signature tasting and arrived an hour early in hopes we could be accommodated early. After a good 15 min in line, they weren’t able to (which was understandable). The host offered us to go in and enjoy a glass on the patio for happy hour. Inside there was another line, so we didn’t bother. At our time, we had to wait again in line for 15 min to check in again. The process was terribly slow even though we had a prepaid, precooked tasting. The actual tasting was wonderful. They do not reimburse the tasting fee ($15pp) when you purchase bottles. This was disappointing.

The Tuscan dinner was described by another diner as the Hester Creek Heist. After paying more than $280 a couple which included a 15% gratuity, the waiter demanded a cash tip before he'd pour wine. A single plate of food at a 12 person table didn't go around. The waiter used extortion to simply do his job, the food was mediocre and not enough to go around. I'll never go back!
