Great winery! Beautiful view. Bought organic white. They have so much to offer other than an awesome tasting wine! Very friendly staff too! Check it out! ????????????????????????
Came in for some wine and food tasting. Kids playing in the back yard with the animals. Our second time, Great place !
Unprofessional and disrespectful staff/owners
Super impressed with their protocols and safety measures. Also the attention to detail was incredible from the heaters to the blankets to the smores! We loved the energy for our kids to see the animals and pick a pumpkin. It is a great mix of things for adults and kids - will definitely be back!
I really enjoy Covert Farms. The property is beautiful, sitting atop a lush plateau, and they offer a thoughtful charcuterie platter as well. As for their wines, this is my weekly winery of choice. I don't cellar their wines as much as my other choices, but Covert demonstrates a variety of pitch perfect Okanagan flavours
Great location, great hospitality, and a great catered meal. Will definitely be back!
Great place, great wine, and super people.
I really enjoy picking the strawberries here. Apparently there is a bike trail that begins on the property as well.
Gene gave us a great wine tour and tour of the farm. Very knowledgeable on ethics of sustainability and organic farming. All of the wines in our flight were fantastic. Definitely worth setting a reservation. Family friendly. Cows were very cute.
Freakn awesome!
A fantastic experience!! Take the vintage truck farm tour! Great guide & a wonderful time on our tour!!
Covert Farms UPICK - we've been going here to pick fruit for 9 years and can't tell you how much we enjoy it. The fruit is really great. it's a beautiful location and the staff are really nice. We always get a little chuckle when we go to pay at the end because it's always so cheap compared to buying from the farmers market or the grocery store.
Its a orchard and vegetable ffarm youncan gonpicknyour own fruit and vegetables
Excellent experience doing the farm tour.
We visited the Covert farm for the first time and were thoroughly impressed. We did a tasting for the adults (ask for Kristi) and a farm tour with Rhya for the kids. Afterwards the kids could play in the open field while we listened to the live music. We will definitely be back.
This place is truly amazing. Its a great place to bring the kids and do a little family time while you enjoy a glass of wine.
We had a magical day today at Covert farms. We were there for a class trip and Shelly was an amazing wealth of knowledge. My 3 kiddos all had the best day visiting with the animals, jumping on the giant air pillow and picking fresh strawberries and corn. Thank you so much for all the love you put into your farm.
Great outside patio for tasting with a casual atmosphere and delicious wine! We hiked the Bluff Trail that starts at the winery then came back to the wine lounge for a fantastic tasting with super friendly staff. Lots of local, environmentally concious goodies in the store as well! Highly recommended and worth the short drive north of Oliver.
Awesome experience, even for the young ones! If you book a reservation they have a large outdoor area for the kids to have fun leaving the parents to enjoy their tasting.
Great location and beautiful hiking scenery. The people were very friendly and welcoming, the wine lounge and surrounding play area was great for adults and kids! Very nice of Covert farms for hosting the start of the bluff hike trail, though confusing when trying to go through the main entrance with many "no trespassing" signs. Still a very nice place and would like to visit it again!
We had a wonderful tour of the farm today with Shelly! My kids got to meet the animals, play on the jumping pillow, and pick corn and strawberries straight from the fields. They had a blast and the scenery was just beautiful!
We visited Covert Farms recently on a school field trip and I cannot recommend it enough. Parents and kids all had a great time and learned a lot about regenerative farming. The kids had a blast playing on the giant pillow trampoline, spider web, and visiting the farm animals (chickens, ducks, pigs, cows, llamas, and sheep). The staff have set up an informative and easy to follow self-tour. On our visit we were also treated to a farm truck tour by Shelly. We picked delicious strawberries and corn and learned all about the importance of soil quality and regenerative farming. What a great way to spend the day outside being active and learning. Thanks Shelly!
Great place, great wine! Even has a giant air blob you can jump on!
Spectacular wines. Amazing service. You can definitely feel the love and hard work that goes in each bottles.
Great service, delicious wines and beautiful location. This was my favourite winery in the region.
Great wine and Charcuterie. Our son fed a pig and bounced on a giant pillow. Juice for the kids wine for the adults.
Great wineŕy. Loved this place. Nice setting. Good wine and food. Nice people.
Extremely disappointed that when we arrived they had a locked gate there to greet you. I called the winery to ask if we could do a tasting since we were right here. The lady said that they were unable to accommodate us and that we had to make a reservation online. It's such a shame that they would turn down business so readily since all the neighbouring wineries are all walk-in. I also asked if she could book us in for the following day and she once again referred to their website when she could have easily done it over the phone. Have been in the past but will not return.
All kinds of activities here. 1. They have an awesome hiking trail that brings you up a small mountain overlooking the valley. The hike is easy and takes about 3 hours round trip. 2. As a bonus once you get back you can enjoy their wine tasting and charcuterie board (sourced from local produce) on an awesone patio. All of their wine is organic which is awesome. 3. You can also go fruit picking here.
Posting on behalf of my daughter/son in-law.. they absolutely loved their experience there. Brought their 2.5 year old with them and he had the best time playing/feeding the farm animals after enjoying his own “juice tasting” Fantastic COvid precautions made them able to really enjoy the entire outing. Of course they loved the wine!
Great family friendly experience. Christa was our host for the wine enthusiast tour. We had our 7 years old with us, so she customized the experience to make sure everyone had a great time. Family owned, sustainable farm. She was patient explaining everything about the wine process and how they grow their organic grapes. It’s definitely a must go if you are in the area.
Wow! What an amazing experience! My wife and I with our 3 kids were treated to an incredible Hand On Tour hosted by Krista. It started with a tour around with the animals. The kids loved feeding the llamas and we enjoyed learning all about how the animals help keep the farm and vineyards healthy. Krista poured us some wine and we jumped into the tour truck. We stopped at various locations all around the property and learned all about what makes Covert Farms so amazingly special in their biodynamic production of their wine. The kids had a blast and loved learning and asking questions as we went through the tour. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide as Krista entertained and answered every question from all of us. The tour continued to get better as we were led out to the organic strawberries and each got to fill our own boxes. 1 to eat, 1 in the box, repeat. Delicious!! The wine tasting and charcuterie patter was fantastic! The kids loved their juice and they spent the rest of the time jumping on the trampoline while we enjoyed the rest of our tasting. This is easily the best family tour and tasting experience in the entire Okanagan! And it's worth every penny! In fact, it's because of Krista that we decided to become club members and do the tour again later this year. Thank you, Krista! This was an experience that we'll remember for a LONG TIME! And we cannot wait to visit again for another tour with you!
Awesome venue
We got married here last summer and it was beyond spectacular! Shelly and Gene were awesome and it was an amazing wedding that no one will ever forget!
Great wine. Great view. And an awesome patio to have a few glasses or a bottle while the kids play on the massive trampoline. If you want to pick fresh berries this is the place too. Or! Hike McIntyre Bluff from this starting point and enjoy a nice glass on the way back.
Although it was the last day of the season to host guests, it felt like it could have been the first. The passion and enthusiasm for the farm and it’s sustainable practices can be felt through our host, Kristy. The welcoming atmosphere made it less intimidating to ask questions and learn about organic wine making. Of course, it helped that the wines themselves were delicious! Whether it’s your first time visiting a vineyard or you’re a seasoned pro, there is an activity for everyone. Highly recommend touring in the red truck - beautiful views await! Will definitely be back!
We had a great time at Covert farms. We were invited for a school field trip where parents got to tag along. The giant jumping pillow was the highlight for my young kids. They also enjoyed visiting the friendly animals and going on a truck ride out to the fields. We enjoyed the sweetest strawberries right out of the field and it was OCTOBER! Shelly was super friendly and very knowledgeable. I enjoyed learning about the principals of regenerative farming. I plan on using some of the tips Shelly shared in my small home garden. Thank you Covert. We will be back next year (or sooner).
Krista was amazing, she made the experience one to remember. The wines were all delicious. She was great even though it was my first wine tasting. Very knowledgeable! Lots of great farm animals to see.
Learned a lot about what will be offered come fresh fruit and vege season. Also tried some of their wines and bought vinegar, cheese, and wine
I really like the variety of food other than wine that they have at their store!
Amazing wine, many things to do with the kids too. We were allowed to feed their animals too and they have a huge yellow bounce pillow.
Lovely spot, really enjoyed the zinfadel wine and charcuterie.
Love this place. McIntyre is always a nice walk and the store is awesome.
Wonderful tour!
Family friendly, beautiful setting and great wine !
Loved the scenary. A very beautiful farm to visit.
Can go hike the bluff trail and then come back for some wine and cheese/charcuterie!
I live in Victoria and have never been to your farm but just want to thank you for packaging your organic grape tomatos in cardboard for sale in the grocery stores. I do not like to buy produce in plastic clamshell containers. Kudos to you and keep up the good work. Oh and your tomatoes are delicious as well. Lots of flavour!!
Our favorite farm and winery in all of Canada. Owners are so friendly and location cannot be beat.
This place is awesome, it even has plenty of activities for kids
Great wine and light bites. Fantastic for family friendly winery. Trampoline, water slip and slide, llamma's and other animals as well. U pick just up the road.
Great experience tasting wine while the kids got to see the animals, tasted juice and got their own charcuterie board to enjoy. Family friendly. Had a nice afternoon and really enjoyed the experience.
Really beautiful family winery and farm. The Epicurean grand reserve tasting was fantastic - the host was great at explaining the wines and the background and philosophy of the organic farm. She also gave us time to enjoy the wines and didn't rush us at all. The charcuterie board that came with the tasting was really great, with local foods and fresh items from the farm. The wines were a little more expensive than some wineries, but were really interesting and unique. We were so happy that they also have a kids farm tour and tasting as well - our kids enjoyed this winery so much more than other ones with no kids' activities! It made for a much more enjoyable tasting for the adults to have the kids busy.
