Unfortunately, I have to update my 5 star review down to a 3. I get the difficulties of the laws and regulations of the lockdown and COVID19, but some local business can be more creative too. Asking the customer to wait another month for a bottling appt is just not fair. There are other ways to deliver your products, ask the province for special provisions like lockers for pick up, have the staff do the bottle process while store is closed and deliver it to the car ina touchless way. Think outside the box. My original review from 2 years ago (this is my 3rd year as a customer) Awesome and great customer service!!! Its fun and different... makes a great price-worth experience! We are certainly doing it again and again! Wine us good (just consider how young the wine is)

Great service and Nice wines. I am not a wine expert. I have tried their Pinot noir, Amarone, Malbec etc and can't really figure out any difference from those I bought from LCBO, except for one thing - These are way cheaper. Like I said before, I am not a wine expert. So as long as I can't figure the difference and can buy this cheaper, this is my go to wine place. I like doing the bottling, corking and labeling. This time, they helped in bottling as there was no in-store bottling due to covid. They gave me the labels and foils that you can apply at home. Overall , a great service and great prices. I would definitely recommend. Oh! Forgot to mention, they have a referral bonus as well.

I've been getting wine here for a while now it's best to sing up for there email list and wait for one of there sales that happens pretty regularly. The wine is good and it will work out to $4-6 a bottle of the nicer stuff.

Easy to order, good promotions, discount, and seasonal sale etc. a seamless process to order wine of your choice, there is a long list if wines there. Safe operation during pandemic lockdown is being strictly followed, curbside pickup is smooth. Friendly helping staff, and the price is right.

This place is fantastic! Their choices of wines exceed the competition and they provide you with labels and cork foils to coordinate with your choice in wine. Bottles can be purchased for the very reasonable price of $1 or you can bring in your own and use their sanitizing machine to make sure it's their clean. The staff are extremely helpful in guiding you throughout the whole process. I would definitely recommend, particularly if you're looking for reasonably priced wine for a special event such as a wedding or large party. I make mine just to drink at home and bring to friends houses and have only heard favorable remarks.

Great place to make wine. Very tasty and inexpensive - most packages end up coming out to less than $4 per bottle and they have Groupon deals all the time. There's a first-timer wine-making experience on Groupon that I'd recommend.

I have done about a half dozen batches and have referred many friends to this service. I would say that the wine is comparable to a $20+ bottle wine at the LCBO but you pay just a fraction of the price! The staff is also fantastic, friendly and super helpful. For Christmas they also gave me a wine stopper as a gift! Thank you Wine Butler for bringing cheer into our lives!

Bought a Groupon for this place. Had never "made" my own wine before, but these guys made it pretty easy. The first visit isn't all that exciting, we got a mini tour by a young woman who had clearly given it many times before, then dropped the yeast into our batch and we were on our way. (Maybe 5 minutes all together). The second visit we were able to bottle/cork all our wine, get a small sample of our batch (we ordered a cab shiraz, the sample was pretty decent for a homemade wine, and it will only get better with age) and make use of the free labels and foil. Overall a great experience with friendly staff. They always have decent deals on as well. Would definitely recommend

Staff here are absolutely grand. I always have a great experience here bottling and creating my own batches. Always store your wine appropriately and it should be delicious. I come back here time and time again. Prices are reasonable. Can purchase wine bottles or come with your own sanitized. Highly recommended.

My grandma and I did a groupon. Can't complain price wise. The wine itself is terrible. Pouring a glass results in a white film across the top. I guess you get what you paid for. Had a total of 28 bottles of Cab Sav and Merlot and both are the same issue. Wouldn't pay $100 as they usually ask.

The first time bottling my own wine was definitely an interesting experience. My second time here was during COVID-19, so I wasn't able to bottle myself. However, the staff was professional and made sure to take the proper precautions for health and safety reasons. The staff was friendly, but I felt a little rushed along, instead of being able to fully enjoy the experience. The staff ended up bottling and corking 6 of my 14 bottles, which i felt was the big part of the experience. I would do it again, but probably not there.

Service is erratic, not very organized. Not easy to know what to do.... Bottled today, so will know how the wine is in 2-3 months (will have to get back to you on that lol). They have a "today only" deal that's always posted, so clearly that's the regular price; not really find if that approach.

Great place to make your own wine. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is bottling the wine (and taking sips inbetween). I have tried their Cali Cab Sauv and Cab/Merlot, Amarone, Barolo and Cali Sauv Blanc. All great drinking wines with way less preservatives than the store-bought stuff! Their referral program is also great and will save you a lot of $. I highly recommend.

This place has horrible customer service. Today we were late by 12 minutes and they refused to fulfill our order. Guy at the front argues with us for 10 minutes while he and other employee could have finished the job while they wasted time arguing. They are so stuck with their policy that they don’t apply common sense. We were outside of the store for another 30 minutes and there were no customers after us to bottle that could have affected other customers. This guys knew there is no appointment after us and could have easily finished job, with two guys in store. I spoke to Manager Alex while I was outside the store and he also was singing same tune. No wonder if Manager is so rigid and doesn’t care about good customer service what you can expect from employees. This is my last time visiting this company , no more in future. When I said to Alex on the phone that you keep my money; he said sorry for your loss. No this is not my loss buddy this is your and your company’s loss.

I loved every second of working with Wine Butler. The yeast drop, although a short appointment, is a great way to view the facility and the resources available (i.e. labels, foils, bottles). I designed my own labels to truly add my own touch. Bottling the wine is a fun process... I brought a friend and had a blast. While bottling we tasted the wine. I was flabbergasted with the taste for being so "young". Absolutely delicious! Lastly, I would like to note on the staff. They are young but friendly and SO well informed. I will most certainly be back and HIGHLY recommend the Mississauga location! This is a hobby I will certainly continue with.

Went here because i found a groupon. It was extremely easy to bottle the wine as the staff were helpful along the way. I'd give it 5 stars if the wine tastes good but it was very weak and wasn't very much going on when drinking. But hey, i practically got a bottle of wine for $2 so I'm not complaining.

WORTH IT! Found this place online after doing some research on local wine making companies. Decided to call in and speak to someone who provided me with advice on what wine to pick as I'm no wine expert but do enjoy it. I decided to go with the Argentinian Malbec. The whole process was simple. You first chose a wine, book a yeast drop date, you come in and put yeast into a big bucket(takes a couple mins), then you wait until the experts say it's ready, you then book a time to pick up your bottles. It would've been nice to bottle and cork our wine but due to covid that isn't allowed at this time. I think now with the current restrictions and vaccine checks people should be allowed to do this but nevertheless it was still a great experience. We did get to take our wine home and shrink wrap the wine foil and apply labels so that was fun. The wine tastes amazing. I cannot give away some bottles over the holidays and hear what people think. I will definitely be doing another batch sometime soon.

They walked me thru the full procedure and was patient with all my questions. The facility is neat and clean. The area for bottling is kept exceptionally clean.
