Absolutely trash. Just go to any over the counter place instead. 45mins for damp toast in a paper box, couple on front of me waited an hour and I got my food first. This meal cost 30$. I was starving and I feel scammed.
(Translated) The one at the airport in Toronto very functional (Original) La del aeropuerto en Toronto muy funcional
Excellent place waiting for flight. I like it. A bit expensive and cooking ordinary though.
Overpriced, slow service. Did I mention overpriced?
Standard No Frills store
Great customer service
My birthday is today and I celebrated with my daughters. The chorizo tacos were my fave.
Honestly dont know why this place has such a bad review. Perfect place when waiting for your food. The servers dont care much about you but are still on point. I ordered the pasta plate - good amount for what you pay for. The prices are ok, nothing overly high. The food was good, no complaints.
The food was ok something u can expect at airport...the prices are reasonable...but the tables were dirty (something ppl don't want specially in covid) and the service was too slow...It is Understandable that Toronto airport is too busy but they need to focus on service and clearing tables..
Taste very good but extremely slow and very expensive as well, I will not come back there for sure.
Food looks ok, but you MUST order by iPad, then MUST pay by credit card (no money accepted... From where I come from that is illegal, give no value to cash) . If this airport is the staple of consumerism, this store should be the poster child. Unless you want to surf the fancy Apple powered consumerism, avoid
(Translated) Excellent service, but expensive products. (Original) Atendimento excelente, mas produtos caros.
Just regular place with no satisfactory service. More pricy even for airport
Haven't tried ordering food or drinks. So no idea how they are, but the setup and sitting lounge is absolutely gorgeous. Power outlet, USB, iPad at every table, perfect if you had to wait to catch a flight.
Looked at the menu and saw chorizo tacos on the menu. Go to the cash to order, the cashier tells me they dont sell them anymore. Which is fine. I ask what they can do for me. Cashier gives me the manager. The manager tells me they dont sell tacos anymore and if I want tacos I should go somewhere else. Which is fine, but it was handled very poorly. Honestly worst management Ive seen in awhile.
Okay overall, but worth it. Not as bad as others others have experienced but neither was it excellent. The beer arived quickly (within about 5-10 min), had a chicken sandwich (arived with 10min or so) which was okay. Compared to airport restaurants, its okay. In the international section, you dont have the widest range of choices.
Ridiculously slow for the ‘express menu’. Waited over 30 minutes.
The place has a soulless iPad ordering system; that's the best thing about it! The food was awful and expensive to boot.
Great for airport
Roasted pork loin sandwich for my wife... and two coffees for us came to $23.00 CAN as expected at an airport. My wife said it was the worst sandwich she ever had and the coffees were horrible.... Pearson needs to start doing " Quality Assurance on the food and beverage businesses in Pearson Airport. It's a poor representation of our city and our airport sad to say. Not impressed at all
Best place to eat? Absolutely not, but bright and breezy drink service makes up for it, and the seating is the nicest in the terminal outside of the lounges. Just eat elsewhere.
Terrible service and food. We ordered the flatbread, it’s frozen food and came with the dough soft, not at all crispy. I and my wife were using vouchers we had from United. We had $42 each and only used $36 when we ordered the meal. I asked for the change, they said they don’t give it to vouchers. I said that I would like to use the remaining $12 with them, which was denied by the manager, arguing that we should have used everything at once or lose the rest.
Had a fantastic cocktail while while on layover. You order via an iPad on the table and then they bring your food/drink. Simple. Quick. Easy.
Food is mediocre at best. Cocktails really bad - ordered an old fashioned with makers but this was def not it. I actually sent one back thinking they had mixed up an order only to receive the same "old fashioned" that loooked more like a whiskey or pisco sour back. Never had a foamy old fashioned before...
Over priced
I love tech but ordering a beer and paying a tip on an iPad full of ads before being served is not cool. Avoid avoid avoid.....
Waited over an hour just to get my food. Terrible service.
Ate breakfast here before trip to Cancun. Food was excellent , it came promptly after ordering on the IPad and was served with a smile by Mariah Williams. Who would think that I would have any further interaction with this lovely girl after leaving for my flight. It wasn't until I reached Cancun I realized I left my tablet on the table we ate breakfast. I was devastated as had just purchased it. I logged a report with Lost & Found online at Pearson but held out no hope. A day later I was contacted by Mariah Williams via messenger to say she had found my tablet! Wow!! In this day and age it is very rare and extremely refreshing to find such honesty and integrity. She took responsibility to find me herself and offered to even drop the tablet off to me. Wow! Wow! Wow! Now that's service ! Because of timetables we decided it would be easiest for her to arrange it be dropped off at lost n found. She gave it to her manager Stew Cowan who took it there that very day. Even when I contacted her again to confirm it had been dropped off, (as Lost & Found had not sent me a notification they had received it) she followed up with her manager and confirmed back to me. Nothing was too much trouble. I have since been reunited with my tablet all thanks to this lovely girl whose thoughtfulness and sincerity have exceeded any expectations one would have of a stranger. I am beyond grateful and cannot recommend this restaurant more highly, for this is a glowing example of staff integrity and honesty at its best. Thank you Mariah Williams !
Excellent.
The food is garbage. Servers are ok and you're not going to wait forever for a drink, etc. Just don't eat food here. It's gross.
Do not eat here. Infested with cockroaches along with all the other restaurants in the terminal.
Flicked a cockroach off my leg. Ipads broke down. Terrible service. Waitress' name was Lazelle, she was ungrateful with an 18% gratuity and gave us absolutely terrible service. Shameful service and terrible food. Who wants rotten greens with a ladybug hidden inside. How does that happen? Bugs, crap food, crap service and this place is busy. How? Will not come back again.
Got the duck sliders. Decent flavor but overpriced. Service was also mediocre.
Horrible breakfast. Flavourless eggs, cold sausage, impossiblexto eat hashbrowns. Bill was like 36 dollars with no drinks. Have to use ipads and was hard to talk to staff. Do not totally blame employees. When we were leaving the manager was chewing one of the workers out. Not good. All bad.
This is objectively the most terrible option at YYZ - for the love of all that is holy, try to eat at the domestic terminal at mill street or twist or something. They make you order off an iPad but start you at an 18% tip: $120 for a can of beer, frozen pizza and a quesadilla you'd expect off the kids menu at Ricky's. 0 out of 10, all the rotten tomatoes - I wish I had more hands so I could give this Ponzi scheme 4 thumbs down. Staff was lovely.
Food takes for ever to arrive and taste awfull, multiple mistakes were made in the order. Room coffee was better.
Terrible experience. Ordered a ceasar salad and pastat that never came. After 30 min of waiting, our flight was starting to board, we asked the server where our food was. She said they never got the order, and we were charged on our credit card but they denied that we were charged. Was not even able to produce a receipt.
Slow service, rude staff and watered down beer. A guy beside us got a dirty glass to accompany his beer. Waited for way to long to get just one pint. Do yourself a favour, go to a different place.
Snotty ladies no greet, server who brought food sweet...don't eat here...cafeteria food...drink had shrivelled lime...really!!!
Very rough start to our vacation but the crew at Vinifera made it so much more enjoyable. Lisa, Sajid, Deepu and Yuri were so pleasant , helpful, accomdating and cheered me up ! Our food and drinks were awesome and they were always checking on us while we waited 7 hours for our delayed flight ! Great service !!!
If I was at my gate earlier, wouldn't have bothered coming here. Terrible service and overpriced. They forgot about me and I had a flight shortly. Coffee doesn't taste great (and no to-go cups available for those who are on the go), $4 for water is not exactly fair, and mediocre Belgian waffles. All for a low price of $20.90. note to management and ownership: you can't get away with way inflated prices and undercoached staff to consider this successful. This will catch up to you soon enough. You are just taking advantage of the “hurried traveler”. Folks, find any other place to eat.
Absolute worst service. You add the gratuity when you order your meal which basically means they will drop off your food, have your order incorrect and completely ignore you while they talk to each other behind the counter. Even when you get up and go to the counter they still ignore you... save your money and go to one of the other options.
TERRIBLE ! NO GOOD SELECTION TO EAT AT PEARSONS !!! THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD EVEN WHEN THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE ITEMS IN STOCK !
The food was okay, I had bacon and eggs so not to much could go wrong there. One of the waiting staff was complaining to the other about managment , loudly.... The iPads in front of every seat is annoying as it is constantly changing ads and you can't turn it off to quietly enjoy your meal. This was my first and last meal at Vivifera there are better options available near by.
Vinifera Terminal 3 restaurant is located in the departure area of Canada’s busiest airport. This location is situated central in the international departures area. Offering Italian fare with a twist, there is a large selection of entrees and desserts as well as a extensive beverage and drinks section. Comfortable familly environment while you await your departure.
