I had an absolutely fabulous burger at this location. Meat was cooked perfectly, veggies were crisp, bacon was crispy and the bun was super fresh! Clean bathrooms, good parking and a fantastic staff. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

We just had the most delicious meal at Jungle Jim's in Miramichi.. ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender, steak was perfectly cooked and tender , wings were delicious as were the fries and baked potato!

All our food was burnt, and tasteless. And was over $50 for 2 meals even after we sent pretty well all of our food back. There was crumbs on our table and everything felt sticky, place was empty and staff was loud while eating their own food.. 1/10 won’t go again.

We went for wing night. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Prices are reasonable. their menu is fun and different from the same old burgers and fries. There are places where a bit of upkeep is needed, our booth had last customers utensils and crayons on the floor. But it's understandable when servers get busy and don't notice these things right away.

Our table had food crumbs and was sticky. The food was highly burnt, to the point where that's all you could taste. The place was quiet until employees were having their lunch and were extremely loud, they didn't even bother to push their own chairs in, one of the employees was the owner. Barely ate our food and still paid $53 for it, waiter didn't care about that fact and didn't ask about our meal.

A little late to review, but I took my daughter to JJ’s in Miramichi to treat her for her grades…and I’m happy I did! The cleanliness of the restaurant, presentation of the food, & the fancy virgin drinks helped create a beautiful memory. The owner is an ABSOLUTE peach!!!! ♥️♥️♥️

(Translated) The decor is super nice and very nice the food is also super good. On the other hand the staff is a bit silly and often they ask you if you want extra without specifying that it costs more money. For example the waitress asked me if I wanted vegetables with my meal and I accepted cr I thought that she came with but no she charged me more expensive on the bill for vegetables also another time she asked me if i wanted sauce with my fries i said yes and i saw that she charged me 2.50 more on the bill for the sauce without telling me that its cost extra. It is therefore wrong to pay attention to this detail. (Original) La décoration est super belle et très agréable la nourriture est aussi super bonne. Par contre le personel est un peu bête et souvent ils te demande des si tu veux des extra sans préciser que sa coûte plus d'argent. Par exemple la serveuse ma demander si je voulais des légumes avec mon repas et j'ai accepter cr j'ai cru que sa venais avec mais non elle m'a charger plus chère sur la facture pour les légumes aussi une autre fois elle ma demander si je voulais de la sauce avec mes frites j'ai dit oui et j'ai vu qu'elle m'a charger 2.50 de plus sur la facture pour la sauce sans me le dire que sa coûter de l'extra. Il faux donc faire attention à ce détail.

The food was good, the service was slow, even though there was hardly no one there. We went on a Wednesday, which is wing night, and it was not full and we still waiting a long time to be served and 2 of us received our meals and we almost done before the 3rd person hot theirs. Also, I ordered the Chocolate Monkey and it was practically still milkshake thick and hard to get through a straw. At least the food was good I guess.

The place was freezing. Waitress brought food and no utensils so by the time we received utensils the food was cold. Had to ask for our appetizers after we received our lunch even though she wrote down she forgot to order. There was no offer to replace or reheat my order. She did discount my bill but I still paid $33 for two appetizers we had to ask for twice after our supper order arrived. Will never go back.

Firstly and foremost we were beautifully welcomed even if we spoke French the young lady was really good even if she might not have spoken in French she understood and was really polite. Then our server was exactly the same really polite and understanding. Now to the food it was finger licking good my mom had the dino ribs with mash potatoes and I had the fishing chip (cod) both tasted great. I have to say say though I am really really difficult with my fish (being the daughter of a fisherman) If my fish smells or tastes to fishy I will not eat it and these ones were super tasty and fresh. Oh by the way you have to try there summer drinks ???????? At the end of our meal I asked our server her name to be able to tell you how good she was. Well it's Amanda and we found out that she was also the owner, I can say with certainty that she's in the right place, she has what it takes to deal with people.

I was there for Thursday steak night. The meal was one of the best restaurant meals that I have had in a long time. I had the monster steak with bake potato and mushrooms and onions. Everything was cooked just right. A little pricey but well worth it. Can't wait until the next Thursday that I can go. Two thumbs up

Yesterday I was at the Miramichi location, I was on a trip and driving by Miramichi, I always had good experience at other locations before, so I thought I could bring my kids(3) there to relax and have a snack before we hit the road again. It was 20h15 when we got there, 45min before closing time, I ordered a appetizer combo to share between each other, not the most complicated meal, it took 45minutes to get the plate. It was almost closing time when we started eating. The meal was probably left out in the deep frier for too long and got forgotten, because it was so overcooked and dry. Taquitos were missing and there was a lot of crumbs taken from the bottom of the deep frier in our plate. Kids didn't like it at all, my son couldn't sleep after that and had painful stomach. I got 25% off my bill, the waitress was kind, but I had to complain to her that the food wasn't coming after 45min, which she should've known because we were the last customers of the day. The reason why it took so long, she said: "there was only one cook in the kitchen"...we were the only customer left in the restaurant, you don't need 10 cooks to serve a deep fried meal. I'm really disappointed and I don't recommand this location to anybody.

Most of the time the food is good but recently I have been having some issues here. The most recent one would be when I went with a friend to have supper. We we're sat down and given our drinks(we both had water) the waitress said she'd be back in a few minutes to take our order. Well. After 35 minutes she still didn't make it back. Keep in mind there were only two other customers in the restaurant. I walked towards the bathroom to kinda see if anyone would notice me. I found the waitress sweeping the floor. She smiled and went back to sweeping. After another 10 minutes I was extremely annoyed so me and my friend walked past the waitress who was still sweeping and left. We went to Boston pizza and got served within 25 minutes and yes I said served not just given water during a 45 minute period. Some people might say well you should have said something but NO I should not have because if you want me to eat at the restaurant and then you're expecting a tip you should know how to do your job and take my order.

My wife and I went to JJ's for our 36th wedding anniversary. We have been coming to JJ 's for different family outings for sometime now. The French Onion Soup is the best on the river. I have never been disappointed with any of the food here. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Ahhhhhh! Love this place! Can't believe we hadn't heard of it sooner! To be honest, we thought it was a play park for kids from the name and through the windows for a while. Great staff. Amazing food. Huge selection. Feels like you are on a Gilligan's Island set! Good job! Keep up the good work!

The food was not good, they don't have spaghetti sauce neither. It was on my birthday that I was there last and the waitress said that they don't offer anything whatsoever when I had asked and it was my boyfriends birthday the day before. I wasn't expecting a free meal but even a candle on a piece of pie or something that I wanted to pay for was rejected.

We waited a while to even be noticed by a waitress to be seated, and once we were seated, they took forever to come bring us water and take our order. Our waitress was so confused, didn’t know what our orders were, and had to wait for a meal because they kept forgetting. Not a pleasant experience, food was mediocre, service wasn’t great, I don’t recommend.

myself My wife and daughter are there today...1hr to get our meal. Mine was very bland luke warm.God father...wife and daughters meal.. honey garlic chicken bowl was cold..took 20 Minutes to get our waitresses attention...she took the 2 bowls back and could hear the chef refer to our reasoning why it went back.. went to pay .and no discount or anything..I questioned our waitress and she apologized but said we agreed that our meal was fine...so we probably won't be back any time soon.

Last week we went to jungle Jim’s in the chi, the waitress seated us and gave us menus and didn’t come back. We didn’t notice till it was 15 minutes later that we didn’t get any drinks. A girl came over and we asked if we can order and she said she can get us something to drink. Few minutes go by and another waitress comes over and tells us that she was just told we were there .... we left We come back a week later to give them another chance. Everything goes well. She takes our order and drinks are given to us. I ask for deep fried pickles first and the rest later which was spinach dip and a small salad. 35 minutes go by and nothing came out. Three other groups of people walked in after we ordered but they got all their food before us? And I had to ask the girl where our food was. They said it was almost done. Yet all we got was apps and the people who ordered after us got dinners. So second time was not worth going back to jungle Jim’s. the service was poor. And it sucks being forgotten a second time in a row ????????

Waitress was very friendly, but the food tasted horrible. The burger was burnt, the waffle fries tasted freezer burnt, the stir fry tasted like it was cooked in something that had been burnt. While waiting for our food, a pan was brought to a table "sizzling and smoking" and the table had said "last time we ordered this, it did not come this way" Had been here before and the food was amazing, seams to be going a little downhill...
