What's with the kids? When I go to a bar I don't want to feel like I'm in a daycare. Kids running around breaking things, spilling drinks, fighting, screaming. It's a bar, why are kids even allowed in there, and why on earth do parents feel that bringing a kid to a bar is a good thing. I like kids, but I don't want to see them in a bar. It's not right. What happened to our liquor laws??

Just ate and rank here. Last time I was here was around 9 years ago, Powder keg lounge has not changed a bit. Food was awsome had the nachos with added beef. Yes it was a little pricey but the amount and quality was better than any pub back in calgary. Got the full dish for 2 people packed up half of it to eat later. Beer was great too. Servers were warm and friendly. Will be back tomorrow.

We've been to the PK lounge 3 days this week, for ski breaks. Today Jess was our server, and she was an amazing ambassador of your mountain. Super engaging, and helpful. One of the 3 best people we've encountered on our 1 week stay in Lake Louise/Banff.

HAVE to give this place a full five stars just for the building and atmosphere. Cute gift shop for train buffs (spent quite a lot on books) and a delightful lunch. Simple and not fancy but still yummy. Exactly what we were looking for. The hubs is a train buff so he loved the idea of being in a train station/museum/lounge. Two trains went by so close which really added to the vibe. It wasn’t just lunch for us but also an event ???? ????

Great spot to eat at! The pizza and Caesar salad is fantastic, highly recommend. Relaxing and cozy vibe, with great views of the mountain.

Down right awful service. Was told we would have a 10 minute wait due to Covid lines (which is obviously understandable). When we got up to the lounge we were told to wait an additional 30 minutes and we ended up waiting close to 45 minutes to be able to sit down. In the end we lost about an hour of skiing. While waiting we saw multiple tables clear up and it took about 10 minutes before anyone cleared the tables and cleaned them. It was down right frustrating to watch. I will not be coming here again.

I have enjoyed quite a few apres ski beers here and it has a pleasant atmosphere and decor. The beer menu, however, is shameful. Despite the explosion of excellent brewers in Alberta over the last few years, this bar only has several taps of the typical AB-Inbev swill without a single tap of local beer.

Place was super chill while there on a bluebird day. Had the pulled pork poutine, which was huge! ...but had a few too many jalapenos which I thought over powered the dish a bit and with the black pepper, the poutine was a bit spicier than I had anticipated. Drinks well priced. Great vibe!

Absolutely fantastic. Was very impressed with the powder keg lounge. I got a flat bread pizza and my friend got a shredded brisket sandwich. Both tasted excellent and the value was there. For a ski in ski out dining experience this is hard to beat.
