Came here for our anniversary dinner and we enjoyed the cozy and rustic ambiance of the log cabin. The service was excellent and the prices are reasonable considering the quality of food. I enjoyed my meal however my husband didn't enjoy his quite as much. Our only complaint was that it was really cold inside the log cabin despite the cracking fire nearby.

Very very cute restaurant, inside and out. Food was delicious, but hardly a few vegetarian options, also quite expensive. Nice place for a date, gets cozy as they have sherpa lined blankets on the chairs if you are cold.

Best food of our trip. Very worth the drive out of the way. We were staying in the Lake Louise Fairmount and made the drive. It was a bit further than we thought (about 20 minutes), but well worth the drive. Far better food than anything at the Fairmont.

Great hospitality and service! I had the fish gratin here and asked for cheese on the side and they delivered. I can't have too much cheese as I'm lactose intolerant If you like Sangria, do get a glass - or a pitcher if you're going to stay longer and sit near window with great nature views or by the fireplace. They make the sangria with cranberries and oranges. Delicious!

Went to dinner to celebrate our anniversary and it really was so special! Our server was amazing and recommended a great wine. We wanted to try out many things so ordered wine, two appetizers and two entrees, and everything surprised us with how great it was! Will definitely be back and recommend to others!

Food is overpriced and not good. Service is slow. Don't go to this place unless there is no where to go. We camped in Johnstone canyon campground and went there for food. It was epic failure. They took an hour and half for food and at the end it was not good. I would recommend drive to Banff if you are looking for food from the campground.

wow WHAT a place. the most romantic evening ever with my boyfriend. coming from toronto we have so many nice restaurants but this place was truly unique. we ended up being alone in a “privatesque” room. excellent service and the food is to die for. got the duck wings, elk burger and the steak. all were excellent including the serving bread and drink selections. if we are blessed to visit banff again we will visit here for sure. only downside was that it was a bit cold inside as the place is rustic and made of logs, but we didn’t mind it too much as it was beautiful.

Our favorite dinner out, we love to go to Baker Creek Bistro when we are in the mountains. The food is fabulous and the service is always great as well. We usually go in November to celebrate our anniversary.

An excellent meal at this rustic lodge's restaurant. We drove a long way to try it after a long day of skiing. Surprisingly inventive and carefully created menu. Good selection of game meats, Canadian sourced ingredients, and pickled & cured products in dead of winter when local fresh isn't available. Lovely setting at rustic lodge. Highly recommended.

What a truly rural little jewel in the mountains near Lake Louise. It has all the ambiance you hope for in a mountain bistro. Great little bar, and wood fireplace in the dining room with huge picture windows to keep your eyes on the snow outside. And the food is a clear cut above the other choices in this area. Good variety, good presentation and a very friendly staff (Thanks Chris!). Yes, worth the effort to get there!

Excellent food! Wife and I went to the resort for our anniversary and decided to try out the bistro for dinner. Glad we did, one of the better restaurants I've eaten at in Banff and Lake Louise. Staff was great!
