Great spot for high tea. The view, the service and the tea were spectacular. However, the actual food was ok. The sandwiches were a little lacking in flavor, so were the sweets. The scones were great.

My girlfriend's all time favorite afternoon tea! Having delicious dessert and gazing through the most beautiful window in Alberta, this was the dream come true moment for her! For me, as a guy who does not understand high tea culture, I really enjoy the all you can eat style table, and the price really makes sense to me for the very first time. Thank god, and I love you guys! <3 Will definitely come back again for the afternoon tea

The food was good and they had a nice selection of teas, and the view can’t be beat. The wait staff were also very polite. Reservations are definitely recommended, even during the off-seasons, since this place is very popular.

Lovely. Couple of issues however. Pool is OUT OF THE WAY. Down 3 flights of stairs and back up 3 flights lugging kids and stuff. No elevator option. Urgh Secondly, campfire is not lit every night. Why not??? Did not love that. And thirdly patio heaters out by the Muskoka chairs, cannot be lit for individual guests for some strange reason. Why the heck not? Other than that, cannot beat this hotel for the view, absolutely lovely!

We came to the Chateau for high tea as a birthday treat for myself in September and we had such a wonderful time! We did the high tea with a glass each of Prosecco - CAD 66 and it was sooo worth it! I was tossing up between the Banff Springs high tea or Lake Louise and I’m so glad I chose Lake Louise. We were fortunate enough to be sat by the window so we had the most wonderful view and I’m so glad that we did - that is why I would go for the Lake Louise option just to be able to take it all in and see the beautiful lake in all its glory. The Prosecco was a lovely touch and the tea was beautiful, our host came and filled up our teapot probably 6 times! I thought I’d have to buy a new pot over and over but no. The food itself was beautiful and the tray was stacked high with delicious treats. They also put a little birthday treat at the top which was so lovely and a real highlight. There’s also a dessert buffet table so when you are finished your high tea tiers you are welcome to hit up with dessert buffet as much as you like (shown in my photos). So generous! We stayed for three hours and just soaked up all we could of the view, the beautiful food, lovely service and the beautiful room itself. My only qualm would be that the bread on the open sandwiches felt a little dry, like it had been sitting out in the open for most of the day. It might have been a bad day for bread that day so don’t let it effect your decision! Such a special treat and a well worth it! Can’t wait to come back again someday with family and share in the special experience again!

Generally will not do it again and will not recommend it to any friend. 1. The view is great and the hostel is awesome to browse. 2. The tea is ok, not as good if you are peculiar about tea and have a good standard. 3. The food is the part that really disappointing. 1) we were super hungry from a hike, so we finish all the sandwiches. They are dry but they are ok. 2) the sweet layer we barely touch it. If you like donuts from Tim and dry cakes. That’s fine. But we expected proper desserts that we normally get from a decent French bakery. These are desserts I will not buy if I saw them in a store. 4. Price is not worth it. Mostly pay for visiting the hotel.

Afternoon tea was one of the biggest wastes of money I’ve ever spent... Some tea and small disgusting finger sandwiches for 55$. We were expecting large portions and good food. Worse than funeral food and for a fortune. Extremely disappointed

Terrible version of afternoon tea. The finger sandwiches were stale. We paid for afternoon tea for 2 people however only received finger sandwiches for 1 so we had to share each selection. For the price it was not authentic and the quality was not good. The view was phenomenal though

My family thoroughly enjoyed high tea at this magical setting. The kids tea was very high quality and fancy while still offering foods my daughters were familiar with and happy to eat. We each got our own pot of tea which was delicious. The service was spot on. Will definitely be doing this again

3 stars because the service was phenomenal... the servers were very attentive and made the experience for my 2 kids really great. The food, though, was just ok... nothing terrible but nothing memorable. The rosemary infused cream was delicious though.

Before that, it's noisy and crowded. Quiet atmosphere, no taste at all. It's just a pub atmosphere. Really only scenery. But it's also more than expected. Just look at the scenery outside. Please enjoy something else. Oh yeah!! Lunch is also available. It's not just a tea set. Paris baguette is ten times delicious. Outstanding service (from Kevin) and views, a relaxing high tea experience. The ONLY reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 star is that the food itself did not taste great...except 3 items...the brie sandwich, scones and passionfruit chocolate.

Hotel was amazing! When you drive up the walkway, you feel as if you are entering an actual castle. The staff were very nice, spoke in a friendly and calming tone. Since we visited on a national holiday, our rooms were not ready, but the hotel staff tried to keep us comfortable within the hotel. Food was delicious very well done. Our hotel room was facing the lake, it was big, spacious and everything was well stocked and perfectly organized. More staff is needed though, especially on holidays.

Due to it's touristy location, this place can get loud. We've had tea at Banff location and I would highly recommend Banff location over Lake Louise location. The food tasted good, but presentation can be improved, for example, they shoved 5 ppl worth of pastries onto 1 3-tier serving stand.

TOURIST TRAP! I corresponded with Anna DalBianco to make a reservation, during which I asked if a guest could enjoy both the jasmine and the oolong tea. She replied that she was " sure the restaurant will provide both types of tea, or any that you were wish to try." After I had my jasmine tea, I requested the oolong, but was told told there would be an extra $5 charge for another pot of different tea. I mentioned my correspondence when reserving and the server brought me the oolong, but I should not have had to have that awkward discussion. The abovementioned disconnect paired with underwhelming sandwiches and desserts left a bad taste in my mouth.The experience is not what it should be given the location and price. You are better off getting the premium tea and fresh scones at either of the hike-to tea houses in the area.

Thank you Rex for lovely experience! I have had afternoon tea in Victoria before and the experience was amazing. Our experience here was top notch too! Their signature whip cream was so good! Teas were so different and tasteful. Desserts were amazing! Everything was fresh and felt like it was made for us. You must try this place if you're looking for a unique experience with your loved ones. We will be back surely!

Afternoon tea at the Fairmont Lake Louise was great! The service was excellent and the food was very tasty. The staff didnt mind taking photos of us. The view from the seating was spectacular as we were right in front of the window. There is a selection of teas to select from.We got prosecco/mimosas on the house because it was our honeymoon. I would go back!

High tea, more like low tea. I am very disappointed with this experience. We have paid $700 for tea and seems like a day old sandwiches, bread and whatever it was that we ate. $55 per person, yall need to lower that price. The view is nice, yes but thats basically what you paid for. Nothing fancy about the whole experience. We even found hair on one of the pastry. This was supposed to be nice for my friend's bach party. You're better off buying your own tea and pastry at Tim Horton and stand outside, it will cost you max $5 and its SOOO MUCH BETTER. Never doing this again and told so many people already about my experience. Yall can do so much better without putting a price with your hotel name. I could have eaten steak and lobster with the same price yall charge per person.
