(Translated) Cellar already broken. I bought a 100 btls wine cellar from house brand vinum only 3 years ago and it is already broken. (it is "set" at 2 degrees C but it is 16) The evaporator is leaking. I paid for this cellar $ 2800 with a $ 600 gift card that I had accumulated for 3 years, all this for a cellar that lasts 3 years, quite disappointing thank you. I think I would have been better served with a Danby bought from Wal Mart. The after-sales service is quite ordinary too, you should know that the refrigeration engineers are not authorized to repair the evaporator liquid at home, so you have to move the cellar and have it repaired ... $ 650 per room + the transport at our expense. I do not recommend the Vinum brand for wine cellars at all. (Original) Cellier déjà brisé. J'ai acheté un cellier 100 btls de la marque maison vinum il y à seulement 3 ans et il est déjà brisé. ( il est "setté" à 2 degré C mais ce tiens à 16) L'évaporateur fuit. J'avais payé ce cellier 2800$ avec 600$ de carte cadeau que j'avais accumulé pendant 3 ans, tout ca pour un cellier qui dure 3 ans, assez décevant merci. Je crois que j'aurais été mieux servi avec un Danby acheté chez wal mart. Le service après vente est assez ordinaire aussi, il faut savoir que les frigoristes ne sont pas autorisé à réparer le liquide de l'évaporateur à la maison, alors il faut déplacer le cellier et le faire réparer...650$ la pièce + le transport à nos frais. Je ne recommande pas du tout la marque Vinum pour les celliers.

Poor quality wine fridges, poor customer service. I bought a Vinum brand wine fridge about 3 years ago. Two months past the 2 year warranty period, it stopped working. Since then its been back and forth endlessly with staff at Vinum. They finally agreed to supply the broken part, but I'm on the hook for a $600 repair on a $1500 fridge, after just over 2 years. And the repair person was about as rude as I've ever come across. I get that I was past the warranty period, but for such a unit to stop working after just over 2 years is ridiculous. Save yourself a lot of trouble and aggravation: buy your wine fridge elsewhere. Vinum doesn't value their reputation, and the quality of their fridges are poor. Sir: if your fridges were manufactured with the best standard of quality mine wouldn't have stopped working after two years. One repairman who looked at the unit told me that the part that broke was cheap and of Chinese origin. As for your customer service, I last wrote to Ms Perron over a week ago, but obtained no response. I've already wasted enough time on this. If you cared about your reputation you would have done the right thing and covered the full cost of repair. The fact that you didn't speaks volumes about your values.

Absolutely awful after sales service from this Company. We have been waiting more than 2 months to have our wine fridge repaired that we bought from Vinum. It is their own brand of wine fridge and they have been terrible to deal with. They claim there's only one person in Montrel that repairs wine fridges and he is unreliable. I found 3 companies in less than 10 minutes of looking online. We will never purchase from this store again! Truly an awful experience!!! UPDATE: I didn't realize that you had more than one customer that has been waiting over 2 months to have a wine fridge repaired. The service call should be under the name Jason Molluso. We have called the store repeatedly and nothing gets done. Your reply is simply a generic answer to make it look like you care. Your actions speak a lot louder than your words!!!

I finally had the visit of a cabinetmaker to take measures (after several months of waiting), and after ... NOTHING. They have ignored me again to this day. My initial visit dates back a year and a half !! I had the impression of disturbing them throughout the process. Go elsewhere. (Original) J'y suis allé pour un projet de cave à vin sur mesure d'entre 25 et 30 milles dollars. Le conseiller (Yann B.) m'a promis un devis en 1 à 2 semaines mais je n'ai jamais vu quelconque dessin ou plan de leur part. Retour d'appel inexistant (j'ai dû appeler une demi-douzaine de fois). J'ai finalement eu la visite d'un ébéniste pour prendre des mesures (après plusieurs mois d'attente), et après... PLUS RIEN. Ils m'ont ignoré encore jusqu'à ce jour. Ma visite initiale date d'un an et demi!! J'ai eu l'impression de les déranger tout au long du processus. Allez ailleurs.

The store has replaced the storeroom with a new one of the same brand. After only 9 months, the new cellar broke down. After a few calls the store sent us a specialist (an independent contractor) who quickly identified the defective part and expressed a not very favorable opinion regarding the quality of the product. We suggested to the sales consultant that we would be ready to buy a better storeroom, provided we get a reasonable credit for the current storeroom. Since VinumDesign only offered us a credit of approximately 45% of the value of the cellar (depreciation value according to VinumDesign), we requested the repair. For more than two weeks we have been trying to understand without success, if the necessary part is available in Montreal and when the specialist would be available to do the repair. It's been over a month now that this case is not settled yet. As the cellar broke down before Christmas, we would have appreciated that VinumDesign temporarily put us in a cellar, which would have left Vinum Design all the time to find a new room and make the repair. We are very disappointed with the quality of the cellar of the house brand Vinum and certainly will not recommend it. We are also disappointed with the VinumDesign after-sales service. We spoke today to the director of Vinum Design who did not deign to apologize. (Original) Nous avons acheté un cellier encastrable de la marque Vinum avec une garantie de 2 ans. Après quelques appels le magasin nous a envoyé un spécialiste (un entrepreneur indépendant) qui a rapidement identifié la pièce défectueuse et a exprimé un avis pas très favorable concernant la qualité du produit. Nous avons proposé au conseiller de ventes que nous serions prêts d’acheter un cellier de meilleure qualité, à condition d’obtenir un crédit raisonnable pour le cellier actuel. Vu que VinumDesign ne nous a proposé qu’un crédit d’environ 45% de la valeur du cellier (valeur de dépréciation selon VinumDesign), nous avons demandé la réparation. Depuis plus que deux semaines nous essayons de comprendre sans succès, si la pièce nécessaire est disponible à Montréal et quand le spécialiste serait disponible pour faire la réparation. Ça fait maintenant plus qu’un mois que cette affaire n’est pas encore réglée. Comme le cellier est tombé en panne avant la période des fêtes, nous aurions apprécié que VinumDesign nous mette temporairement en disposition un cellier, ce qui aurait laissé è Vinum Design tout le temps pour trouver une nouvelle pièce et effectuer la réparation. Nous sommes très déçus de la qualité du cellier de la marque maison Vinum et ne le recommanderons certainement pas. Nous sommes également déçus du service après-vente de VinumDesign. Nous avons parlé aujourd’hui à la directrice de Vinum Design qui n’a pas daigné nous présenter des excuses .
