It was the third time getting there with my sister,as a cook I can say the pasta was amazing the pizza too even the salad,but the service was terrible,I felt like it was only with us because I said hello two times to the waitress and she didn’t answer me and she answered the people behind me,I wanted to leave the place but my sister said don’t!I am very happy about new families places open in my neighborhood,nice resto, nice food,nice prices I don’t have to go to the centre ville,but they have to put attention with the service.

Great family-run Italian restaurant in N.D.G., Montreal, Qc, offering delicious pasta, fish, and parmigiana - with great prices and friendly service. Veni, vidi, vici. You go, too, and see - and enjoy a wonderful meal! I had today the most delicious pork chops and vegetables. Sweet meat and the home fries the best I’ve tasted in a long while. Highly recommend.

This is simply the Agostini family moved back to what was their old quarters for many years. We followed them in their move up to Somerled and now back. Good place to go to "get back to the basics" of Italian restaurants. No designer stuff here. Great old fashioned pizza with the right combination (and right quality) of thicker crust, tomato sauce and cheese for a yummy pizza, as well as other traditional Italian dishes.

Great place for good old fashion "Nonna made" Italian food. The Calamari was done perfectly, gnocchi's, meatballs, and linguini with pancetta were amazing! Good price for quality/quantity of food. Nice staff and best part; walking distance to the MUHC Hospital.

A cozy and family-run Italian restaurant that gets its authentic meals right. The main courses, the specials and the desserts are really nice. My pepperoni pizza couldn't have been better and the service was friendly and quick. This was minutes after opening with few other people, so other people's wait times could vary. The prices here are not stratospheric, but you are paying for quality over quantity here which is a trade-off worth making if you ask me. Without a doubt, Trattoria Mario has the best pizza in the neighborhood.

I ordered today from Mario's for the first time! My neighbour had raved about it...and gave me a delivery menu. The pizza was fabulous..lots of toppings and excellent crust. The spaghetti bolognese was very toothsome and the meatballs tasted like my Mother used to make. Beautiful fresh salad with lots of different salad greens. Also i ordered a huge container of meatsauce for only $7...also tasted very homemade. I shall be ordering many more times in the future..always trying different dishes.

Started off by sharing the platter for 4. I loved the calamari and arancini. The bruschetta and sausage were decent as well. I tasted a bit of the mushroom soup and it was excellent. For my main, I ordered the eggplant parmesan. Very big portions and the eggplant was good. As for the pasta, it was much too soft for my liking. I tried a bit of the other pasta dishes from the people I went with and they seemed to suffer from the same problem. Maybe I can try asking for al dente next time? Regardless it was overall a good experience and I will visit again.
