This is probably one of the biggest Korean & Japanese grocery store in Montreal. The owner is super nice and always tries to make every customer feel happy. They have large selections of Korean & Japanese ingredients such as soy sauce, mirin, gochujang, miso, nori, kombu, yuzu juice, chili powders, fresh shiso leaves and so on. They sell homemade meals including buns, noodles, fried chicken, pork neck soup and bimbimbap. My favorite thing to buy there is called half dried persimmon. It’s in the frozen food section. 6.99$ for 4 frozen half dried persimmons. It is really really super delicious and I haven’t seen it anywhere else in Montreal.

By far the best Korean grocery in Montreal. All of your favorite spicy ramen, tons of fresh kimchee and Korean sushi. Massive amount of frozen dumplings and all the gochujang you've dreamed of. This is THE place.

I didn't feel safe at all after doing my grocery there yesterday...they didn't clean/disinfect the shopping carts or no one was cleaning/disinfecting the shelves, fridges etc..just like other supermarkets and grocery stores have been doing it. I will not go back there again until this COVID situation gets settled down.

I come here all the time. They have a great selection of ramen, cold coffee and ready-made food, such as sushi, kimbap, korean pancakes, spicy pork bowls, pork tonkatsu, poke bowl boxes, fried chicken, fried tofu, etc. Very nice prices. Their kimchi is really good too.

Great selection and great service every time. However, I would hope that they consider using less plastic.... fruits and veg are covered in plastic and styrofoam - not the most environmentally friendly. Especially, with other more zero waste options so close by for produce.

Customer service does not exist. I don't leave reviews but this sucked. The girl who works there will speak to you only in Korean and acts like she owns the whole place! I asked her a question about something and she just didn't want to tell me in English? She didn't even say hello/hi. I wasn't sure if she feel unhappy to work or just doesn't like when a customer asks her a question, but she was so arrogant. Whatever. I paid and left that place. I'm Korean but born in CANADA and I don't speak Korean well at all. Is she the owner's daughter maybe...??? But I know business. My advice is they could be getting alot more $ if that ... wasn't working the cash.

Be careful. Been going here for years but the quality of both the service and the food safety standards have gone way down. Several times I saw items on the shelves that were way past the expiry date and the other day saw refrigerated items being sold on the counter. When someone asked about it she just said they were the only ones left as if that was the point -_- She was very defensive about it and just acted annoyed. Unprofessional and unsafe.

Foodie adventure! This place has a good selection of Korean and Japanese products. The hidden gem is bags of kelp (seaweed) preserved in salt (see the fridge in the middle-back)--excellent to make seaweed salads that taste like Japan. Both the leaves and stems are good, but I prefer the stems. Frozen products, namely the dumplings, are often of high-quality.

It is pretty much the same size than a convenience store but it has the Japanese & Korean food products, including a butcher. It is like a 10 minutes walk from where I live but I don't go here often because I generally eat Southeast Asian foods but it is expected when the store is named "Épicerie Coréenne et Japonaise". The staff is pretty nice. Can be crowded sometimes, being on Sherbrooke West street a commercial artery in NDG. The aisles are kinda tight but it's accessible for everyone being on ground level.
