The restaurant is beautiful and interesting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic! The Atlantic Mussels and Chicken Skaras were particularly delicious (see picture). Fair prices, highly recommended (just avoid the black liquorice candy on the way out ;-) )

Good food, very good service, but a little pricey. The fish of the day was delicious (like, really good!) but at $35+ per portion it seemed expensive. The grilled vegetables were however very fresh, well prepared and memorably good. Four-stars-plus.

Enjoyed the whole experience, from the exquisite atmosphere to the incredible array of food. Service was on pointe and seamless. The menu is a showstopper. I highly recommend trying the grilled octopus as a starter and the fresh grouper as an entree. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to sample from many dishes, having been out with a group of colleagues and cannot wait to go back to try more! This is a must try when in Montréal!!!

50/50 good vs disappointing dishes. For the price it should all be amazing. There's way better Greek food in Montreal. Food gets a 3 but the attentive service gets a 5.

The lamb chops were amazing. I've never had anything as delicious and the chef was kind enough to make em well done for me (a big no no for meat lovers) The potato side dish tasted like my grandma's recipe (sick!) And the fried zucchinis with tzatziki was a delightful entree. The service was fast and everyone was super friendly. The owner let us in even though it was close to closing time. He said he cannot leave anyone hungry in the mean streets of Westmount! Lol The decor was great. They tried to keep everything as authentic as possible as per the ingredients. The only things I wasn't crazy about was the seat (both felt far from table) and the price was a little steep. It's a good alternative to Milos and Faros. Greek restaurants seem to have it going on the most in Montreal for a reason.

Chef/owner exhibited tremendous hospitality to our family. We came with three small children, he welcomed them as if they were big spending wine connoisseurs. The food was generous and delicious. We had a very nice reasonably priced bottle of Greek wine. We’ll definitely be back.

What a great restaurant! We were two couples and we shared 3 entries and a Greek salade and then shared 3 mains. Everything was great especially the grilled octopus and grilled vegetables. For the mains we shared the shrimp, mussels and chicken and again all were great. They have a really good list of privately imported Greek wines at very reasonable prices. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and the staff make you feel at home. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything about the restaurant and our meal and we have already contemplating our next Visit.

Absolutely delicious! Everything! Complimentary roasted garlic with grilled pita, grilled octopus, Greek salad, gigantes beans, grilled shrimp and the complimentary birthday dessert of Greek yogurt and hot Loukoumades (donut balls). Great Bloody Caesar too! Service was attentive and friendly! Can’t wait to go back!

What a hidden gem! Having been to all of the high end Greek restos in Montreal, this ranks right up there with the best. The food was delicious and the service exceptional all in a cozy atmosphere. Hopefully things will remain as they are when Kavos is "discovered" by the masses. Very reasonably priced I must add... Excellent all around.

Overall the best Greek restaurant I've been to in a very long time! The ambiance, the food, the service.. everything is done to perfection. We've had zuccini and eggplant chips, grilled octopus, saganaki fried cheese and calamari for appetizer and they were all so so delicious. For the mains we shared a fish (which was to die for) and had a steak and grilled prawns also the lamp chops.. 10/10 great job

We were walking by Sherbrooke ouest and we noticed a new restaurant that opened in the neighbourhood . My friends and I decided to give it a try . The moment we walked through the door we couldn’t believe how the aroma pulled us in even more . We ordered a few appetizers that were so delicious, from the fried calamari (wow) to the zucchini chips, grilled vegetables and the most mouth watering were the shrimp kataifi! We felt that we were on an island in Greece . The atmosphere , the Greek music , the amazing food and the awesome vibe! When we got our main dishes , we all agreed that Kavos has gotten our full attention . Food and service won our rate of 5 stars !! Good job Kavos and let’s not forget our friendly waiter Peter!

Great restaurant. My cousin had told me about this place. Right when you walk in, the restaurant itself is very nice and cozy. They did a great job on the interior design. We sat on the table upstairs. The seats were comfortable and the staff was so amazing. The staff was very helpful and quick to respond when we needed something. I've ordered many bloody caesars at many restos/bars and let me tell you, it was great and QUICK. As for the food, INCREDIBLE. I'm petite who usually never finishes their food but I finished appetizers and my meal AND had dessert on top of all of that. All in all I would recommend to friends and family. Great job Kavos!

Beautiful & comfortable décor, great staff & some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had. The calamari was fantastic, their shrimp & scallop with jam was insane (in a good way), the octopus was incredible, & their lambchops were amazing. They had a nice selection of Greek wines & the bottles we tried were outstanding. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back.

Well once again these wonderful people have done it! Whenever my wife and I come up to Montreal from New York City my cousin Arnie always takes us here. Hard to go wrong with this menu but the grilled calamari and the octopus were outstanding! The Greek salad is exactly what it should be - simple but properly seasoned. had a horrible experience last night after waiting 45 minutes for our meals only 3 of 4 were served with the waiter saying the fourth would be 1 minute more. waited 13 minutes and only after complaining to the manager did my meal come after 15 minutes. everyone at the table was waiting for my meal to be served so after finally getting served the other 3 meals were cold . the waiter did not offer to rewarm the 3 meals so the food was eaten cold . the waiters excuse , the kitchen was busy! no compensation or apology was offered to anyone for the bad service. we all agreed it’s the last time we will eat at this place . very disappointed !
