I ordered for a takeout and I did not wait a long time for it. The food was hot and it was the Best cheese burger ever. Half our table was served and then after 15 mins the other half was served. honestly felt unappreciated. Everything about this place rocks, from the helpful and friendly staff to the chic retro decor (they've even got 80's board games like Jenga and Connect 4 at the tables) and upbeat atmosphere (complimented by the 80's music) to the food of course. I'm recommending it so often that people ask if I own stock in the place (for the record I don't, but I sure wish I did). With menu items with names that'll strike a nostalgia chord with anyone that grew up in Quebec during the 80s (like the Goldorak or Capitain Flam burgers) and cocktails and drinks at reasonable prices (even if a little steep), you'd definitely want to plan a few stops here. They've got a lunch special consisting of bento boxes of their one tastiest burgers-of-the-day (The Beauty, The Beef, L' Avocat, Le Capitain Flam or The Big Jack), fries, coleslaw and a Joe Louis at $12.95 (weekdays from 11:30 until 4:00 PM). On Mondays any of those five aforementioned burgers are $5.00 off all day, and the first Monday of the month starting at 6:00 PM you leave your phone on the counter without touching it (no bluetooth, either) after placing your order and get a $1.00 gift certificate towards your next purchase. Be sure to check out their burger challenges, some of which may require a waiver form.

I have been to Belle et La Boeuf a few times when life was normal and we could go to restaurants. This was my first take out experience. The food was hot, even after a 30 minute drive, and fresh upon arrival. It was made fast and to order. I appreciate a place that has beef in the title offers vegetarian options so good on them. The Janis Joplin is always a favourite but this one was a little tough so somewhat disappointed there. **lgbtq friendly restaurant**

Went there for my birthday, was really impressed by how nice the restaurant looked with all of it's decorations and paintings on the walls. The place wasn't really packed but we had to wait quite a bit to get our food. The waiter was nice enough and brought free chips to help the kids through the wait. I ordered the Dallas Burger which tasted amazing but which also had a ridiculous amount of sauce ???? ended up with my hands coated in sauce and my burger just started falling completely apart after 2 bites. The waiter nice enough to tell my girlfriend that they had a special shot for birthdays which she promptly ordered after he told her that the shot was a Blowjob. Thing is they didn't have whipped cream so they put a huge chunk of vanilla ice cream in it which kinda made it impossible to drink it the proper way so I just ended up taking out the ice cream with a fork and drinking the shot.

Wonderful location that myself and my family absolutely loved. The decor, and overall ambiance was fantastic, with an overall eclectic mix of 1980's culture and warm cozy home decor. I myself had "La Boeuf" burger, pictured in my review, a little much on the cheese sauce, so the burger was a bit of a mess to eat, coupled with the fact that, I'm a slob, made it interesting, but the waiter included extra, much needed and appreciated napkins, so I escaped a cheese induced fashion faux pas. The fries themselves were great, well seasoned, and far more then you think you get, when you see how it's served. The coleslaw was fantastic, and Kool aid pickle honestly took me by surprise with its wonderful mix of sweet and tangy. In terms of price point, I found it more then fair, with my meal, a soft drink, a 20oz of Stella Artois costing under 40$$. The overall quality was fantastic, and service was solid. On the whole, the experience was wonderful, and I, and my family will be more then happy to visit this location again.

Burgers are ok except the fish burger which made me want to gag. Took 2 bites and I just couldn't finish it. The poutine is a 0 out of 5 extremely salty,the gravy was way too thick. Was definitely the worst poutine in Montreal. Waiters are always pretty chill but the blonde hostess is always unprofessional.

Very bad experience with this restaurant. The waiter was very creepy and inattentive. I wanted to order something vegetarian off the menu (which was a big mistake) so I decided to go for the mac n cheese, and I also ordered regular fries. The order came in 40 mins later. I can't imagine it would take this long for some pasta and fries, and when I asked the waiter if he could check the kitchen since it has been 40 mins his reply was "sorry a lot of people ordered at the same time". I don't work in the food industry, but one thing I know is that professional chefs in restaurants are able to handle multiple orders at the same time. The mac n cheese is basically Kraft dinner with nothing more. The fries came in burned and soggy in bits and pieces (not eatable at all). I asked the waiter to replace it, and he did, but the fries still came in soggy. McDonald's can do better fries than that!!

This will be updated as I eat. Walking in I'm greeted by a pretty eclectic layout. If you don't like dead animals they're on the wall but I doubt you'd be at a burger joint if you cared. Fried pickles were cut length wise I thought that was weird. Delicious though. Mojito is pretty good. Hostess sat people right next to us and the place is pretty empty. Ugh. Jack Astor's vibes but better food. Hostess hides her phone in the same place I do at work. Top drawer of my tool box. All together. Delicious. I'd come back.

Disappointed. We were 3. We ordered 2 poutines (Montreal and Keto) and a mushroom burger. All were excessively salty. There was something not right about the poutines and neither was even half eaten. These meals are not cheap and really should have been much better. We thought the terrace would be nice, being outdoors and all, in these Covid times, but it sat right on the parking lot which killed some of the ambience. Noise and fumes. Service was decent. ... This place was recomended to us so we don't understand why 3 meals were memorable for the wrong reasons. ...To be fair, when we did complain the waiter apologized and knocked 15% off the bill. For that I give 3 stars rather than 2.

This was the second visit to this location. The food was good and served hot. The drinks were cold and the decor/atmosphere cool. My only complaint is the service. I don't know if it is because the booth backs are so high, but after dropping off our order, it seems as if we were forgotten. I don't mind paying the prices being asked as long as the level of service is high. For $100 for 2 people for burgers, fries, and drinks, don't skimp on the wait staff.

Terrible experience, went there to watch the fight and have some food. We stood at the entrance for 5 minutes no one came to serve us. So we decided will sit down some one will have to come and say something. Weather it be move spots or to just generally serve us. That didnt happen we were ignored for 20 minutes with employees walking around saying nothing to us. Even though multiple people walked by us. So a total of about 25 minutes there no a single shread of service. Definitely a horrible first impression.

Une fois nos repas fini elle se représente nous demande si tout est bon , le temps d'aller emballer nos restant elle revient et nous demande de payer. Went to order to go and was sent to the bar. I bwas then standing at the bar while three employees chatted and paid no attention to me, I finally interrupted their conversation asking to order and was told to go on the other end of the bar to order. I went to the other end only to be sent back to where I was, as that is the place to order. I told the waitress they told me this where I'm supposed to order, and she gave a dirty look and walk away. Another guy came and gave me a menu and then 10 minutes later, someone took my order. I ordered a burger with no onions wrapped in lettuce and a salad as a side with no onions. 30 seconds after punching in my order, I asked if I can change the side to fries and he said no. 20 minutes later I got my food and left. When I got home I had onions on my burger, and on my salad. I get they were busy but it makes a horrible experience for trying this place for the first time.

Do not ever try and call the restaurant cause they NEVER pick up thr dam phone... Upon arrival the restaurant was empty so there was literally no excuse on why they wouldnt pick up. If you have a problem with your order upon delivery you literally need to show up at their doorstep with the order to let them know its not right... No one reads the notes of specific order like no cheese or extra sauce. You get what the menu says thats it thats all. 3 times now my order is completely wrong. Very dissapointed will never be ordering from here again.

We arrived around 7.40 pm and were assigned a booth. The atmosphere was awesome hip, trendy and cool decor. The music was loud and we needed to almost scream at our company on the other side of the booth. We ordered 3 burgers , a orange float, and soft drinks our waitress was friendly and fluent in English and French We didn't waited long for our food and drinks about 20 minutes. The burgers were tasty and warm. Fries were cold. We had asked for a refills on our soft drinks and mayonnaise non of them ever arrived at the table. We were never checked on if everything was ok. What did happen was that our food was taken away and 2 of us couldn't finish the burgers but wanted to take them home for later. But the food was thrown out without the question if we wanted to take it with us. The waitress looked overwhelmed while at that moment the restaurant was half empty We drove 40 minutes to this location that is brand new. And we all were excited to try this place out. We will not be back even though with a few small tweeks this could be a place we would love to go to. Sad.
