Beautiful scenery. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious wines.

A truly spectacular line up of wines. Orofino has a clear vision and a true passion for every wine they make. They continually produce exquisite wines of such fantastic quality! If you have the opportunity to purchase a bottle of the Passion Pit Cab Sav (Vintage is irrelevant as they are all amazing) make sure that you do. By far the best wine in the valley!!

Corey Brown

You must stop in for a visit if you are in the area! All of the wines are great (saying this as a restaurant owner), the people are super lovely with great stories and history, the straw bale buildings are cool architecture, and the location is spectacular. What more could you ask for? I will tell you! To stay in the vineyard overnight. They have 2 suites onsite that overlook the vines and the mountains behind. Stunning. Loved, loved, our visit. Oh! And be sure to go the The Grist Mill if you are in town for a dinner or just a tour of the mill and the property. A perfect side activity for your stay! Can’t wait to come back!

One of the more attractive and smaller wineries in all of the OK. They make a decent chardonnay. Definitely worth a visit on the way and even worth a diversion.

A fan of old world wine culture as well as BC wines,, I have to admit I am sometimes suckered in by old traditional looking labels which is what originally caused Orofino to catch my attention as I browsed through the incredible selection at the Okanagan wine centre in Penticton. I picked up a bottle of their Pino Noir 2013. I waited until Christmas of 2016 to open it up and found it to be the best Pino I've ever tasted, and quite frankly one of the best red wines I have ever tasted. Very easy and smooth and yet such a nice and fully flavorful wine. Superb actually. Now I can't wait to go and visit their winery in 2017.

We stopped for a wine tasting at Orofino and had a lovely time. The wine was excellent and our servers provided details on the tastings as well as how the winery produces the wine. Orofino is a family run organic vineyard located at the base of Orofino mountain. We sat at an outside patio which provided stunning views of the vineyards and mountains. They offer tastings of 5 wines for $10. Highly recommend!

Really nice outdoor place to sit and relax under the shade of huge almond trees. The wine is also great!

Wow!!! Bold, full bodied Red! Their Red Bridge Red is a nice bottle! Will be stopping by, next time we're in Cawston! Cheers!

Marshall Dowla

friendly staff, love the wine and the tables under the trees, ahhhh relaxing!

Due to Covid19 we were unable to do a tasting. Blindly purchased the Pinot noir, Gamay and 2 different Syrah. Just wow! The Pinot and Gamay were delightful. The wild ferment was delicious but we should have let it aged a bit longer. Seriously thinking about joining their wine club. Will be ordering/buying more in the future. Very impressive!

Sara Crockett

All wines were very good!

Kristina McQueen

A worthy stop in Similkameen Valley for great wine, interesting wild-fermentation styles, and friendly pours. Tastings are free and they take donations for the SPCA.

Nancy Holmes

A true Gem in the heart of Similkameen valley. We went there to have a wine tasting on a monday and we were received by Coranne like if we were old friends of her. The landscape is absolutly amazing and what about the wine. We feel all the love the wine maker and owner puts in the elaboration of this Dionysus juice. Highly recomand.

All the wines I had during the tasting at this winery were delicious! The Orofino Winery staff are knowledgeable about the wines they are serving and very friendly! The winery has a nice patio area outside where the tastings are being done during these Covid times

Excellent wines, however the staff member on shift was distinctly unwelcoming and almost hostile. This was odd because we had been here before and not been treated that way by other staffers. I mentioned that I really liked the previous vintages of sparkling wine, and the staff member took great glee in telling me that it was no longer being made. The mean spiritedness displayed really disappointed me because previous visits had always been good. This is why, despite an extremely disappointing visit this time, I still give a four star rating. Imagine though, if it had been my first visit?

Colleen Brouwer

Very disappointed in our visit. We had a reservation and we were served by the owner, but it seemed like she did not want us there. Very Unwelcoming and seemed fearful of having people on the property. I have been to a tasting there before, liked the wines but this visit left a bad taste in my mouth

One of the Similkameen's premier wineries! Amazing wine and amazing staff.

Jennifer Macintosh

This winery is pretty and we really enjoy their usual "big" Wines. Their 2016 Pinot noir (their pinots have been amazing) is absolutely horrible. Don't get me started on their gamay. Shame on you for marketing these disappointing unfiltered wines that reminded me of my grandmas hooch. It's especially bad business to force it into your wine club shipments. We contacted the winery to “make it right” and they basically told us our taste is unrefined and we would be happier as not part of their wine club. So we cancelled our membership.

Ryan Thompson

Such friendly and humorous hosts, in the perfect setting. Orofino was one of our highlights of our trip to Keremeos and can't wait to visit again!

Great wine!

We haven't visited the winery but have tried their Gamay and was disappointed. It was cloudy, slightly bitter, I think my own home brew tastes better than this $25 bottle. Maybe I just got a bad bottle. Would like to visit the winery to see for myself.
