This was the highlight of our day of wine tasting. The view was unreal, the wine was delicious and we had such a fun afternoon! We can’t remember the name of the champion who did an ace tasting - but he was so great and was unbelievably kind, lending us a bike to get home after ours had a bust tire. If you are in the area, you have to go to this winery! Can’t wait to drink all the wine we bought.

This was our last stop on another great day on the Naramata bench! We were very impressed with all of our tastings, and the gentleman that was our guide did a great job as well. From the way they greet you with a taste of their bubbly, to the multiple samples you get to try, it was in unbelievable experience! The view was spectacular and we actually found value in our purchase. Highly recommend stopping by.

Helen was an excellent host for me and my girlfriend for a tasting. Small focused portfolio of pinot gris and syrah. Beautiful vista views of the lake from their expanded patio. If you have the pleasure to know her: Nicole is fantastic. Well worth holding out for on a wine tour down Naramata. The 9mile red is incredibly good.

The wine is great. The staff are amazing. Dan the dog works very hard to be cool. Love that they let you compare wines in the same family. The view is also great. Probably the friendliest staff on the bench.

We went to multiple wineries/distilleries, but because of his service, this experience stood out the most for us. Great wine, good staff, and a fantastic view! Wonderful family-owned estate winery. Oldest syrah vines in the region. Wines are Old World flavoured and European in style with no added sugars or blends. If you're lucky, you can meet their newest ambassador: Calliou the friendly kitten.

We came to Nichol as part of a wine tour group. As such, the company had called and booked this time in advance for a tasting. When we walked in, the man doing tastings ignored our large party for several minutes. He then poured a glass of some wine, with no description or even the name of the varietal. He left the bottle on the counter and left to chat with a previous group who were already served. He then hastily poured the rest of the tasting, never giving any information other than the name. He seemed put out by our presence, despite having known about this tour in advance. Our guide told us that the man was a co-owner. Obviously he does not care about his own business enough. He nearly single-handedly ruined our wine tour with his piss poor attitude. The entire group was unimpressed. We would never return to this winery, and would never recommend them to any friends. Thank god their winery is at the end of the bench, so that no one will have to endure their terrible wine, and equally terrible service if they don't have to.

Don't be fooled by the exterior of the building. The interior of the wine shop is well decorated. I came here for their pinot gris and not disappointed. The lady that served us is very friendly and informative about their wine. Will come back for sure.

This is the one vineyard I always look forward to when visiting the Naramata Bench. Here you will find good quality wine and my husband and I especially enjoyed their reds. We have been buying their wines since 2005 and they never disappoint. If can only visit a couple of vineyards on your trip through the area, this is one vineyard you should not miss.

How do you give zero stars? The review from 3 weeks ago was spot on. The guy in the tasting room is useless and does not care. Avoid stopping here and avoid Nichol wines.
