Service was great But just average sushi nothing special. Tuna sushi was disappointed but overall it is okay to enjoy if you are a huge sushi fan. It would be nice to offer the miso soup refill for free..

THE SUSHI IS PHENOMENAL!! Only serving takeout right now. The town of Jasper sushi roll is my favourite. Servers are nice. Prices are average. Quality is top notch!! I’ve already ordered twice since they have opened and looking forward to the next time! Highly recommend.

Due to restrictions, only take out option is available at the time of ordering. Very friendly and fast service. We ordered asst tempura, dynamite roll, crazy girl roll, town of Jasper roll. Everything is delicious and fresh. Worth every bucks. Will definitely try and explore other items in the menu.

very good sauce for their teriyaki dishes! the beef used for teriyaki, however.. leaves something to be desired. way too chewy and easy to choke/gag on if you're not careful. i would go for a different meat next time...

We were so impressed with the food as well as the service! The portions were substantial and we ended up leaving with lots of leftovers. Our server was attentive and kind. Definitely a great place, especially if you're looking for a lighter meal after a busy day.

Great little Sushi spot nestled in the heart of the rocky mountains, fresh sushi, great service. I have tried it 3 times now. Once when they first opened in March we had take out it was amazing. Then I took my son there a week ago and we ate both Saturday and Sunday. Love the presentation!!

Amazing fresh sushi! The only sushi restaurant in Jasper. My favourites are the Town of Jasper roll which comes with a side of calamari, and the Crazy Girl roll which is a deep fried California roll with cream cheese, unagi sauce and spicy mayo.

Definately coming back next time we're around! Take out only at this time and sushi was amazing. Staff was very friendly and helpful about choosing menu items when entering. We ended up getting a party platter which had great variety all round.

Service was fairly fast, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was pretty good! Some of the portions were huge, and the prices were fair. A lot of the drinks were out of stock, so make sure to have a backup.

High prices but its Jasper so that can be expected, service was a little off, we were seated and then forgotten about, the menu is a little weird, everything seems to be a California roll of some sort with a couple variations, usually a tempura prawn with a couple pieces of sashimi and some sauce thrown in. Bland rice, no vinegar in it. Its too bad because the fish they are using is actually really good, fresh but the flavors are all kind of lost in the overabundance of fake crab and mayo in all the rolls. Really big portions so I guess you're getting what you pay for but its average at best.

food is about average with 80% markup and service is disappointing 1. Waited for AN HOUR until our order served in full. We ordered five dishes and a miso soup - waited 30 mins for the Katsu Don, and another 30 mins for three rolls. Miso soup? We gotta remind them about it when the rolls came. 2. Not to mention that they served us the same WRONG DISH(chicken teriyaki roll?)THREE TIMES. What we've ordered was chicken yakiudon which was repeated and confirmed by the server who took our order. So I guess she just placed a wrong order in the system? I mean it's ok to place a wrong order but serving that wrong dish three times and no one confirms with us? 3. not so surprised that the wrong dish is still on our bill. glad that we double checked. Not recommended.

We were in town for the weekend and were craving sushi. We looked up reviews and One Sushi sounded good. We ordered the Jasper Roll (Awesome!!), the Crunch Dynamite Roll (very good), sashimi (beautiful big pieces of fish), and miso soup. They forgot to put the soy sauce etc in, but gave us even more miso soup (which was also delicious) to make up for it. They were lovely and the sushi was excellent! We will definitely order from here again!

Food was ok. 3/5 Unpleasant experience because of service. 1/5 We sat down @3:15 pm, and were the only other customer in the restaurant. The food was served with chopsticks only, so I had to ask for napkins... (Cost saving?) Empty dishes were removed as soon as we finished, and the bill was put on my table... Normally I prefer getting my bill when I ask. I asked the waiter if they needed to close for lunch break, and the answer was no. I felt being rushed out of the restaurant. But not sure why. I guess (hope) they were just inexperienced in their line of work. Very surprised to read this many reviews on "good services". Will not go again, or recommend it.

Service was good! The food decently priced for jasper. I think our rice was a little stiff for what was made. The Squid and tofu appetizer was really good. I think overall the sashimi and sushi isn’t as fresh (which is to be expected in the mountains) and overall it was a great time. If you’re coming from the lower mainland keep your expectations straight. If you’re coming from Alberta or Saskatchewan (like me) this is worth the stop.

It appears this restaurant does not have any ordering system in place. Dishes are being served by bringing them to every table asking if they’ve ordered it. Our food has been passed around 2 other tables before it arrived at ours. Way to spread COVID 19!

My family and I spent 11 days in Jasper and we ate dinner 3 times at One Sushi, they were very accommodating and the food is fantastic!! We had the same server for two dinners and she remembered us from our previous dinner. She was so fantastic and very friendly. We didn't find out her name but she had just started there last week!! You are so lucky to have found a good one!!

Ordered the spicy salmon dragon roll and tempura. The portions were generous and and tasted very fresh and the tempura was very crispy. As well, the management and servers were all very nice and quick with our order. Definitely will be back next time we're in Jasper!

In our stay in Jasper we’ve been to this place twice. Such amazing staff and great food. Staff were very considerate of my food allergy, and explained in details the kitchen dynamics. Our first time there, they had a problem in the kitchen which led to a delay, as a result they gave us a discount for the waiting period. The food was so good that we didn’t really mind the wait.

The employee that served us seem to be in a bad mood and did not seem to want to help us get a better understanding of the menu. This employee visibly showed his annoyance towards us and made us feel unwelcomed.

Average quality, over-priced, small portions. Food came out separately to the point where one of the friends finished eating before the others got their food. Charged $5 for a tea without even letting us know ahead of time. The server came back to us 3 times because she didn’t ask the menu options fully. The owner stands around the tables while customers are eating which made us feel uncomfortable. Won’t be going back

Sushi was absolutely amazing though I didn’t get what I ordered… the service was quite poor, 1/3 meals we ordered was forgotten about. No one checked in to make sure and I was left sitting without my meal while my friends ate for 15 minutes. When I finally got my meal it wasn’t what I ordered (it was a sushi cone instead of the roll) I would try it again because it was surprisingly fresh. Maybe try a time that’s not so busy so you don’t slip between the cracks and get missed.

I'm not usually a sushi fan and I can't speak to their sushi personally but for someone who doesn't eat sushi this place has great alternative options. The spicy Ramen and chicken teriyaki are great, and the gangster roll made with chicken is absolutely fantastic! Definitely recommend this place!

Food and staff probably 5 stars. The only thing I didn’t get was size of sashimis; probabilities the smallest portion I have ever seen in Canada. I would have preferred them to charge more and served normal sizes.

HOW ON EARTH IS THIS PLACE 4.3 STARS?? I have NEVER had such a bad dining experience in the past 20+ years of my life. After ordering and starving for about 50 minutes, our first dish finally arrived except it was NOT what we ordered. The server said she will go back and check. A minute later, a different server brought the same dish to us again, and we explained again that we DID NOT order this. We also repeated our order back to her, which she acknowledged and took the dish away. 5 minutes later, another server brought the same dish back to us for the 3RD time. She didn’t even look surprised when we returned the dish for the 3RD time so it’s quite obvious that they’re just trying to avoid the issue here. At the end when we asked for our bill, and surprise, they still tried to charge us with what we DID NOT eat and DID NOT order. Also, as a group of 4, we were initially provided with only 2 sets of plate and utensils. We had to ask for 2 extra sets TWICE which only arrived 10 minutes after our food was served. The server said they were short-staffed, which I usually empathize with (I was a server myself for 2 years). However, looking around, there were only 2 other tables. There were at least 4 servers. How many staff do you need to properly serve 3 tables? Not to mention the food was extremely OVERPRICED. Each item is about 2x the price of a typical mid-to-high end Japanese restaurant, and 3-4x the price of a typical simple sushi take-out place. I guess it’s because there are few sushi places around Jasper but IMO it is definitely NOT worth it. Go have yourself a nice steak & wine with that money. I am absolutely dumbfounded by all the other positive reviews which lead us to choosing this restaurant at first. Perhaps you will have a better experience if you’re white? After-all the other tables (caucasian folks) did seem to receive a much better treatment than we did.

Food was really good..... once we got it. I think they forgot about us. Other patrons that had come in after us had gotten their food so we asked our server about our food. She said it was being made, only for our her to come back moments later to ask what we had ordered. If it's being made as they had stated, shouldn't you know what we ordered?

terrible service and very sketchy place. Better avoid this place. if you really want sushi here, get ready for long waiting time for your food. Also make sure DOUBLE CHECK YOUR FOOD AND BILL ARE RIGHT because, not only just us, at least 2 other tables next to us were provided wrong food/bill as well. We came here 8 PM, the place wasn’t that full and busy. In first 10minutes, the server came to us 4 times to ask if we wanted to order even we asked for few more minutes every time. After placed our order, we waited for almost 1 hour to get our first dish without enough plates and chopsticks and no soy sauce . Asked for them twice and really waited for actual few minutes this time. During the entire eating time after, no one checked us at all. We were provided wrong bill in the end. Also their credit card machine didnt work for other tables and us and we had to find cash to pay. Guess they don’t care much about one time tourist customers.

My husband and I ate here during our stay in Jasper and it was honestly so delicious. We are vegan and they were very accommodating. I didn’t feel left out or still hungry when I left there. I had the veggie udon noodle soup, we had tempura veggies to share and the veggie sushi platter. It was cool in there during a heat wave but not freezing cold like some places and the servers were very polite and attentive. We’ve eating our fair share of sushi and this was one of the absolute best!!
