They have such amazing gluten free options! As a celiac it's very hard to find good food and I can easily say this was the best pasta I've had in years. The service was phenomenal and very helpful. Definitely eat here, celiac or not!

We asked a local for his recommendation on where to eat for supper, and this was the place. Boy, was he right. We had the mozzarella garlic bread as an appetizer. I'm still drooling thinking about eating that. I had pasta with a garlic/butter/olive oil mix with added spicy Italian sausage... So good. My wife loved her ravioli as well. Staff was attentive and friendly. We would most definitely eat here again. One side note, they don't allow men to wear hats or ball caps so prepare/allow for that.

Completely unprofessional and a bad experience. I cannot speak for the food, but was turned away because I wanted to keep my baseball cap on, which was better than my hair at the time. I spent the day skating and my hair was a disaster. I dont think restaurants should be turning away paying customers on such an unreasonable request.

We went to Jasper last minute to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We decided on Italian to celebrate the big day, and when we arrived at the restaurant they had us tucked in the back under candle light. A bouquet of flowers on the table and a card. I have never ever had service like this before. WE WILL BE BACK!!. 5 stars

A beautiful spot for a romantic dinner. During our first trip out to Jasper, my partner and I chose this restaurant for our romantic dinner. This was the only dinner out we experienced and we were thrilled with everything from the service, food and atmosphere. The service was great. We were waited on in a timely manner and the server was exceptional. They cleared the table when needed and were available but not overbearing. We loved their calm nature and ability to know when we needed them and when we wanted time alone. The atmosphere was gorgeous and romantic. The music was a perfect hearing level and sound for the space. The lights added to the romantic feel and everything was kept clean. We would dine there once again and highly encourage anyone who wishes to dine in Jasper to visit this space.

Cassius, an Italian Restaurant in Jasper AB, is a very nice and clean establishment. PROS: - Great food and big portions - Nice and friendly staff - Warm ambiance - Clean washrooms - Free access to a stuffed animal museum of local wildlife in the basement of the restaurant. CONS: - Napkins should be larger and beefier. The small paper napkin we received was insufficient.

This past weekend (August 28, 2021) my husband and I were in Jasper (from Edmonton) to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I made reservations online for the restaurant for Saturday night. In the comment box I indicated we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. When we got the the restaurant, we were shown to a private table. There were flowers on the table and a card. 2 glasses of champagne were brought to the table by I assume Anna. Our server was very attentive and recommended dishes. After enjoying a very delicious meal, a dessert to share was brought to the table. The friendliness, caring attention shown by the restaurant made the evening much more special. The food was delicious and plentiful. I have no hesitation in saying that when in Jasper you have to definitely check out the restaurant. When we come back to Jasper we will for sure be dining here again.

We went without a reservation after reading the menu while walking through Jasper. We were very happy with what we had. We went for a 3 course meal in the end, and everything we had was great. The Turtle Cheesecake was especially delicious. The service was very friendly and we had refills of the soft drinks. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The menu had a lot of choice. The price was on the expensive side, mostly I think because of the cost of the sparkling water my girlfriend took. The ambience was cosy and very pleasant while not being stuck up. I would go again.

If you would like to eat real Italian food, do not go there! Awful mojito and disgusting food but the server was attentive. Stai lontano!! i did not seat the bar and did not talk your bartender. And follow Alberta’s recommendations and laws. Do not worry about it. You focus to improve your quality. You do not need to fight with your guests.

After reading reviews and the responses from the owner, I will never eat here again. I will never support such a horrible egotistical attitude in customer service. Food wasn't even near the quality for the prices. It was so bland. Gnocchi was gross....service was ok...and that was it. Do yourself a favor and go eat somewhere else....so many more reasonable more delicious choices than this garbage! Response to the Owner: Just look at their own response....clearly no service industry experience whatsoever. I'm not sure how alerting others of overpriced, gross food is abusive to people, in fact, eating there could be deemed abusive to ones self and family. Yes....its that bad. there are SO many better options in the area.....heck even Subway,

Last night was my second time at Cassio’s, with great memories from my first visit, I was happy to suggest it again. Peggy was our waitress for the evening. She was kind and gave great suggestions about the wine and food. We took our time to make our decisions as we kept getting lost in deep conversation, and Peggy never made us feel rushed, gave us our time and space to allow us that intimate dinner, while being appropriately attentive. It was my birthday, although they weren’t told before we arrived, and the manager surprised me with flowers which was completely above and beyond industry standard. The food was fabulous, the service and hospitality was incredible and the over all experience greatly surpassed any expectations. If I could give Cassio’s more than 5 stars I would! Thank you for the perfect evening, we will gladly recommend, and we will be back!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Cassio's in Jasper. The atmosphere is lovely, with dim lighting, candles and twinkly lights. I found it relaxed, cozy and romantic. I had the most delicious butternut squash ravioli for dinner and the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Perfection! My dinner date had the risotto and tiramisu and he raved about it! I snuck a bite of the risotto and immediately understood all the raving! All in all, a wonderful evening! I always look forward to visiting Jasper and now I have another reason!

Do not recommend eating here. For the price we thought we would be getting very good food.My hubby had a chicken parmigiano the spaghetti was dry the chicken itself seems like it was pre-made and just warmed up to serve. I ordered chicken Alfredo and the pasta wasn't done and the portion was small given the price. We have never been to an Italian restaurant that does not serve complimentary warm bread. They do not. Save your money, go elsewhere!

It's still the pandemic & Alberta is hit hard. Our first time travel out of town in the last 18 months. Kudos for checking everything according to the AHS guidelines. Vaccination records checked. The place is quite big & tables are set respectably spaced out. There are wood panel screens on both sides of our table. We have a tablet with a full frontal view of the VIA Jasper Station, a real bonus. The service is first class, thanks to Earyne. We had the Caprese, with wonderful balsamic vinegar. The risotto Milanese was infused with saffron with the seafood stock having a hint of lobster. The sirloin was done perfectly medium rare. Can't skip the gnocchi that came with the steak, which should have been a separate primi on it's own. Can't write enough, the photos should help the words.

Our last night dinner at Cassio was a bit adventure. The one we wanted to go closed for renovation. It is the fate we came here. And we would be very sad that we almost missed this hidden jewel in Jasper. Background music are all our favorites. It prepared us for great food to come. My Osso Bocco on risotto was so delicious that I finished whole portion, which is normally for my two meals. My husband ordered Veal Piccata. He was well satisfied by his birthday dinner. Thank you for cooking such beautiful food and offering great service. We are looking forward to visiting you again.

I went to Cassios Italian Restaurant last night, on my first visit to Jasper as the menu, and reviews looked great. I had just drove the four hours from Edmonton to explore. I didn't have a plan on what to do, I just wanted to see Jasper as I just relocated to Alberta from Eastern Canada and had already seen Canmore, and Banff. It was supper time when I arrived. When I had walked past Cassios and looked in the windows, there were lots of empty tables so my husband and I decided it was a good night for some Italian. Our opinion soon changed, as the one staff member who greeted us (I assume was the maître d' of the restaurant) was very rude. The first lady who greeted us when we came in was pleasant, and asked if we had a reservation, which we did not as we had just arrived in Jasper. She then started to look at the computer/tablet and the maître d' came over and asked the first lady who greeted us, if we had a reservation to to which the first lady said no. The maître d' continued to criticize the fact that we did not have reservations, very loudly to the first staff member. This was dispiriting as we did not want to go to a pub, or a restaurant we could try in Edmonton, we wanted a nicer restaurant for a date night. We were taken to the first empty table closest to the door, almost as if we were undesirables in the maître d's restaurant. Luckily our experience changed for the better once our waitress came to our table. She was very polite and attentive. Our drinks (Perfect Martinis) were wonderful, and the food was delicious. I just wish we would've had a better greeting at an almost a empty restaurant. An interaction, like the one we had with the maître d' can have a direct reflection on the first impression left of a new town. This should be kept in mind when working in a town that prides itself on tourism. I hope that my next visit to Jasper starts on a little better note.

we came here during our stay in jasper from edmonton and thought this place would be super good by the look at the restaurant. however the food was really pricey for how it turned out. my cousin said her alfredo just tasted like noodles and water and me and my sister got the chicken parm. the spaghetti part was okay but the chicken felt overcooked or just heated up it did not taste fresh. my parents meals tasted bland they said like there was no taste at all. same with my cousins food. overall food was okay for me atleast not for the rest of my family though. kinda disappointing because of the price for all of the food too. not worth the price

My partner has a special dietary restrictions and we often couldn't find a restaurant that can accommodate those restrictions. Having said that, I wouldn't think an Italian restaurant would have gluten free options. We had the Appetizer Platter and it was a delight, the portions were generous and the presentatio lovely. Then my partner had the GF linguine and salmon and he loved it, best part is he didn't have any reactions. I had the steak which was cooked perfectly (medium), and the double baked potatoes was wonderful too. I partnered my steak with their cabernet and it was an experience. The interior is a little out-dated, but personally I think it added to the charm and ambience of the place. The service was prompt and our server was not hovering. Granted we had our dinner a little early, about 5pm. I absolutely would recommend this place.

On the children's menu it is specified that parents are only allowed to pay the bill (but not touch the dishes) - even if it was a joke, it leaves a bad aftertaste. Finally the owner's responses to critical comments are hilarious. (Original) La nourriture est correcte et le service très bien, par contre le choix de faire payer $7 le partage de plat me paraît abusif. Sur le menu enfants il est précisé que les parents ont uniquement le droit de payer la note (mais pas toucher aux plats) - même si c'était une blague, elle laisse un mauvais arrière-goût. Enfin les réponses du propriétaire aux commentaires critiques sont hilarantes.

We went to Cassio’s for our 25th wedding anniversary this week and had a wonderful experience. We were shown to a lovely table by the window and were given flowers, a card and Prosecco. This was such a lovely surprise and we were so touched by the owner’s kindness. The menu is extensive and varied, our server was very attentive and helpful, and our meals were excellent! Would highly recommend eating here and we will definitely be back when we next visit Jasper.

We went to have dinner with the kids after a long day of traveling. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and looks like a high end place to eat. We booked a table for 7:45. The food and service were ok, they were out of garlic bread.... and the Ravioli dish was very small for about $26. I guess we were expecting more from a place that looks so well. We asked for the Wi-Fi password and no one knew what it is, after about 20 min they managed to get it for us. All in all it’s a nice place, just need a few tweaks.

My wife and I were here for our Christmas eve dinner. The service was great and the atmosphere is pleasant for sure. We certainly got a feel that a lot of locals had a tradition of a Cassios Christmas Eve dinner, and rightly so. We enjoyed our evening. My wife had the Gamberi, and the pasta was a little more al den·te than we prefer. This is certainly a place I would go back to.

Three of us had dinner here about a week ago. At first, we were seated inside. It was so warm and stuffy that we decided to leave. After a bit of negotiation, they were able to seat us outside where the weather was beautiful. I'm glad we stayed. All of us ordered the shrimp spaghetti with red sauce. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the shrimp were tender and delicious. We ate every bite! I felt the wine was a bit pricey, so I ordered a draft beer. Our server was delightful. I definitely recommend Cassios, especially if you can sit outside. 4 1/2 stars.

After eating here, I was sick for two days. The shellfish in the pasta was not good and didn't taste very good either. The bruschetta was average at best, and charging $10 for a pre-mix syrup mojito which tasted gross and only had one sip. The owner asked if everything was ok at the end to which we said yes as we wanted to just leave. She completely ignored the fact there was a full glass of mojito sitting on the table, which she was happy to ignore. The owner also doesn't respect her customers and is often rude or in denial in her replies to these reveiws, just have a look below at many examples. I would choose literally anywhere else in Jasper to go before here.

The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for an enjoyable evening out or a romantic evening out this is a lovely stop. I was so excited to go here especially after a long hike in the canyon. It was crazy disappointing. The manager was really short with us too. Wasn't a welcoming atmosphere and the pasta was sub par. Not to mention the bartender kept yawning, like big yawns without his mask on. He clearly was just as bored and unimpressed.

I would like to say that the food was great... but I can’t. I was not able to eat there because my husband was turned away at the door. He was turned away due to his exposed upper arms. Another gentleman eating at the restaurant was wearing a bud light tee shirt and we were turned away because he was showing too much shoulder? Also there was no mention of this ridiculous “dress code” on the Cassios website. Finally if they are not prepared for the way the general public dresses in the middle of summer in 30 degree heat, then they are not prepared to own a restaurant.

Fairly disappointed and was let down with what I expected. The 2 stars I gave were for the waitstaff who were friendly, fast, and responsive. Besides that, the restaurant didn't deliver on what I would have expected for around $25-$35 a plate. First, the shrimp in my dish was clearly previously frozen as it had a strong fishy taste that overpowered the rest of the dish, a strong sign that the shrimp had begun going bad. Second, the tomato sauce had a sharp acidity to it that could have been reduced by cooking longer as it would have caramelized the natural sugars in the tomatoes and added a rich buttery taste to the dish. My plate was also lacking salt, which could have been solved with fresh shrimp. Third, for a top end Italian place in the Rockies, I would have expecting fresh pasta and not pasta from a box, but to their credit, the boxed pasta was cooked perfectly. My wife's fettuccine Alfredo was lacking salt and cheese in the sauce; not sure if it was made in house or from a can, but we expected better. By the end of our meal I wanted to get the tiramasu but was feeling too nauseous from the main. Good food has you grasping for more, and I had no desire for dessert. I'm hoping this review doesnt discourage people from going to the establishment, however I do hope it encourages the restaurant owners to step up their game and not skimp out on the ingredients. A few simple fixes will have people begging for more.

excited to be on a romantic get away ,walking around Jasper to find a nice place to eat..we were told we could not eat here with ballcaps and my boyfriends sleevless shirt ,only to walk by patio with 6 people wearing ballcaps!!!so we turned around to question this and the women said oh ballcaps are allowed on patio but no sleevless shirts...as she sat 2 girls wearing tanktops?what is the difference between a girl in a sleevless top or a guy.unfortunately we cant review this place because we were not able to try it

It’s called perfectly absurd service , where’s they wont respect your time .I booked table at 8 pm with their available time of 8.45pm so we reached dot on time & we were taken to table & we sat on seat with menu shared to us & what a surprise we received later ? We were informed that “Sorry food won’t be served” because we are under staff .. they told to wait for 45 mins for accepting our order , later they said we can’t serve you ??? Wow what a service ? I respect their royal treatment to their customers, even they did not uttered sorry .. such a awesome one ( feel like give 7 stars ) attitude. I salute them …

There is no excuse for this place to be rated 3.8 stars. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is wonderful and the food has always been good. At some point the management decided to start filtering out borderline customers according to appearance or their own personal taste. Jasper is a vacation spot and not a formal town and to discriminate is not only costing you business, but is highly insulting to those who are just trying to relax and enjoy a vacation and a meal. You want a “higher class” clientele? Start by refraining from smarmy replies to past customers. It’s a bad look and you have made a 5 star business into a 3.5 behind many lesser restaurants. Get smart and try to substitute a smile and kindness for your personal judgment and you’ll be the go to place in Jasper.

We decided to eat here after a chilly day exploring the surrounding areas of Jasper. I am celiac and find it challenging to find something gluten free to eat in Jasper that isn't automatically gluten free (ie., a salad). Their website indicates that they can make almost everything on the menu gluten free, so we gave it a go! We both had the 3 course meal for $39 (I believe it's a winter special) and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the Smoked Salmon Carpaccio to start; it came with 2 slices of gluten free bread, delicous smoked salmon (a good portion), and the red chili jelly was delicious! It could be enough for 2-3 people, but I enjoyed it all to myself For the main course, I got the Siciliana - made with corn noodles. It was also a delicious plate, and had a very generous amount of ingredients in the dish. For dessert, I got to enjoy the Turtle Cheescake, drizzled with chocolate syrup and a dollop of whipped cream. I dont get to enjoy dessert often when we are out, and this was so yummy! In addition to our great meal, we took advantage of the cocktails on the special menu - also well done and would recommend. Our waitress, Peggy, was very warm and we had great service all night. I would HIGHLY recommend this place as a gluten free option in Jasper. If we had more time visiting, we would have likely ate here nightly. It seems that they understand what celiac is, and take measures to reduce your risk of eating out, which is something I greatly appreciate.

Loved this place, have absolutely no complaints. It was a last minute choice, they were able to seat us immediately, even though it was packed. Had the calamari which was cooked perfectly as well as the chicken Parm, and cannelloni. As you can see, the chicken Parm was so good it didn't survive for the photo. The cannelloni was top shelf as well. Highly recommend this cozy Italian restaurant ???? prices seemed fair for a true authentic Italian restaurant!

My wife ordered a Gluten Free chicken alfredo meal. It was basically inedible, you could clearly see pools of oil throughout the dish. At first we thought she was feeling ill due to cross contamination but no it was just the excessive butter. Thankfully the server didn't charge us for the meal and my wife wasn't glutened. My meal, the game burger was quite good though.

I’ve read some of the reviews posted here and am puzzled why anyone would give a negative review of this place. I read the one about the family who was annoyed because their father couldn’t wear his muscle shirt in the restaurant. Then I thought to myself, why would I take fine dining advice from a guy who would even enter a fine dining establishment with that type of attire? Don’t listen to the haters; this place is good!

The view is beautiful and I would've given a better review had our server not been so rude and presumptuous. We stopped in for drinks on the patio while we were shopping and meandering through Jasper. It took about 10mins for him to even come over with a menu, which we were not greeted politely. Once he took our drink order he removed the menus so we couldn't order food if we wanted to. Our drinks took another 15 mins to get to us. When my travel companion went in to use the bathroom she couldn't find the washroom, so she asked. The reply she got was "can't you see the sign?" Which was very small and on the other side of the restaurant, so no she couldn't. Once finished our drinks we were not asked if we wanted another or any food, he simply just brought us our bill presuming we wouldn't spend any more money or time here. I've worked in the culinary industry for 15 years and know how I should be treated and you should never judge a book by its cover. We were on vacation and would've spent much more money and time here had we not been treated so poorly. Instead we will never return to this establishment and will not recommend it to anyone. You should rid yourself of this very rude man he's costing you money.

I'm very disappointed with my visit to this establishment last night. My wife and I have been to Cassios half a dozen times as we live fairly close and use to reccomend it too everyone visiting Jasper. Last night we were sharing the appetizer bread (The cheese loaf with a bunch of spices) and there was CERAMIC in it. Even after I told the waitress that she broke a tooth and we had the glass right there no one really seemed to acknowledge the huge issue. The manager never came around to address the issue or to see if she was alright. All they did was bring out a new loaf. I was livid but I let it go for the time being because I was visiting a family member I hadn't seen in 15 years. This use to be one of our favourite restaurants. I wouldn't have written this post if someone acted like a human being and acted surprised that there was CERAMIC in the food or if the manager came up and explained that something broke and she was sorry. I'm just super disappointed from our experience yesterday.

Our waitress was great and very polite. Food is definitely not Italian standard. The sauce was very watery, so disappointing. Anyways, it was very frustrating for such expensive restaurant. I recently had my wedding at Cassio’s and Mike and Anna made sure everything was absolutely perfect! I ate there several times beforehand and the food and service were always impeccable. Mike and Anna were so accommodating and helped make my wedding day stress free. The food, service, wine and decor the day of was incredible. I couldn’t be happier with having chose Cassio’s for my wedding venue!

The service was attentive and great. The food was pretty good although I'm rarely impressed by Italian food (just a personal preference). The wine was great and there was a decent selection covering most major wine regions. My main issue was the lack of vegetarian options that didn't involve removing shrimp from existing dishes. It would be great if Cassios could do a vegetarian spaghetti dish, a vegetarian risotto dish and a vegetarian ravioli dish. It would be simple and easy to implement.

The creme brûlée was the best I ever had. Try that one! However very expensive for some chicken on top of noodles. The noodles were heavy and the chicken and veal tastes processed at best. I doubt they are, but it's the worst I've had. For half the price Old Spaghetti factory offers way better, plus a soup and ice cream. The staff was alright but hurried, slow, and inconsistent ( like we had 4 different waiters)

Staff and owner are pretty righteous. Turning away paying customers based on a small party is a bad look… I would also like to add that there is no guaranteed monetary incentive here. I would give 5 stars but only to our waitress . The food wasn’t very good . Pasta was dry . Waitress offered us more sauce and we hadn’t even said anything . She obviously noticed . Older outdated restaurant inside didn’t expect a dress code . 30+ degree day outside and apparently no tank tops allowed for MEN Only as women had them on inside . My husband had to wear my daughters cardigan sweater or we would of had to leave . Yet ladies it was appropriate. He took it off finally after we were almost done out meal because our daughter was cold . We got glares non stop from the older lady with a bob haircut from behind the bar . She seemed to be on a bit of a power trip She made our waitress come over to our table to remind him of the no tank top code . This place sees themselves a lot higher in class than it truly is . Food and decore was not appealing . Won’t be back

Big no. Food is overpriced and menu does not represent accurately what the dish will have. I ordered pescatore which was linguine with fish and mussels in wine sauce.... well it was tomato sauce!!!! This is a really good Italian restaurant. I had my doubts when I saw the reviews. After eating at this establishment, I disagree with the reviews and believe this restaurant should get an average of 4 stars. For 3 course meal for $30 (restrictions may apply where you have to pay additional $2-4 depending on the dish) that is a steal. I ordered the mussels, Ossobuco and dessert (Sorry, I forgot what I ordered). Then we have two pasta dish to share. All the dishes tasted really good and that I wanted to get more bread to mop up the sauce in the mussels. This shows it is really good. The chefs did an outstanding job in preparing the food. My party's dish they ordered was good when I had a small taste. The service was excellent. Waitress was kind, friendly and helpful.

Great authentic Italian food and service.

Good food but very very expensive, most restaurants in jasper are expensive sure but, charging 7 dollars for sharing a dish is excessive. The decor is cozy and make the place authentic. The most enjoyable part of this restaurant is the free “zoo” in the basement after you eat your food it really puts into perspective the sizes of some of the animals in the area and it made the visit worth the time.

Great ambience... this restaurant is much bigger inside than it looks from outside... and beautiful decor. Very pleasant inside. The service was wonderful, quick and professional. We had the chicken alfredo, which was wonderful. We also tried the schnitzel... flavor was good, but I found mine, tonight, a little dry. I probably just ordered "the wrong thing", or it was a bad night. Everything else we had was very good. I would recommend Cassios Italian restaurant.

My wife and I, along with our 10 month old daughter decided on Italian our first night in Jasper. We were met and seated almost instantly. The entire staff's consideration and thoughtfulness was impeccable. The appetizers, mains and desserts were phenomenal and we cannot remember a better dining experience. 12 out of 10 and 6 stars. The wildlife exhibit in the basement was the cherry on top of a perfect cake! Thank you cassios!

We were bit early and were the first ones in the restaurant. The servers were very friendly and helpful and offered to track down a booster seat for our infant. The food was absolutely delicious. We will be back.

We walked in and it was at least 40 minutes to closing and i did not even get to ask anything. The lady made it clear "we are closing" and walked away :( so zero customer service.

Love love love the coffee here. I was surprised more people weren't coming in for the coffee. It's their Cassio brand roast. Cali eggs benny was ok, avocado was not ripe and kind of awful, but the coffee made it a great experience.

Went went to Cassios for dinner during our stay in Jasper and really enjoyed it! The service was great and the food was delicious. It was a bit loud inside the restaurant but we had a large table near us, so as is expected. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant when staying in Jasper.

So we went to here for dinner tonight. And for the most part it was phenomenal. Everything was clean. Staff was friendly and very attentive and on the spot with everything. My only complaint is The Pre-cooked penne. It was pre cooked and was either microwaved or thrown in hot water for a short time and served. It was very AL Dente. You would think for a place that makes you take your hat off “which is a Common Italian practice”. You would think the owner would be Authentic Italian in cooking fresh pasta noodles. Now as for the Bolognese sauce, it was perfect! The wife had the flatbread and she quite enjoyed it and so did I. If you’re looking for a good pasta dish, head on down here.

Went for supper, stood in line for seating. Only to be told they have a dress code. If your wearing a tank top they refuse service. Only to walkout and see three others without sleeves. Nowhere on the website does it say dress code policy. Very upsetting to be turned away service for a tourist.

Very poor service. The restaurant was empty, the staff gave each other looks, before showing us a seat and also with cranky faces. The food was not tasty at all, we were not yet finished, the staff told us that i will bring the bill. It was a pitty, that such a poor service in a touristic place. Don’t recommend it to anyone

Food very poor quality for price. Gourmet burger should be called frozen patty gourmet burger. Only good item was calamari. Would not recommend this restaurant for takeout at this time in history.

Ordered a Mojito and got a gross bright green premixed drink which had the weirdest taste ever. I didn't end up drinking it at all, and our waitress and owner/manager who came to bill us ignored this. We have also ordered one of their seafood pastas and felt sick after. Service is friendly, and views from the restaurant are pretty. However go somewhere else if you want better quality food and drink.

Great authentic Italian dishes! We had mussels and clams to start in a tomato sauce, they were to die for! The servers were so polite and was always there to refill your water/drinks! Good prices on their dishes, but their drinks on the other hand... $12 for a ceaser.. way over priced for me! Will definitely return but will watch what I order to drink... oh did I mention you have a beautiful view of the mountains?? :)

We are currently staying at the Whistlers Inn on vacation from Calgary. We were looking for brunch places with baileys and coffee, so when we entered the restaurant and were inquiring about whether they served Baileys and coffee. The waitress on staff Friday, September 29th, around 10:20 am was rude and offensive. She asked where we were from and since we were from Alberta, she started lecturing us on the liquor laws that “we should know”(which by the way brunch places in calgary do serve liquor at 10am). We would have stayed otherwise but since she was so rude we left. Wouldn’t recommend going for breakfast and having to be served by her.

Food was prepared quickly and was plenty rich. The bread was soft and just the right amount of garlic for my taste. Had the chicken Alfredo and butternut penne and they were outstanding. The penne were a little heavy on the oil, but the flavor was there. We will have to try other items and report as time goes on.

We came in tonight on family day weekend and we really enjoyed our time here. Our server, Patti, was fantastic! She had really great suggestions. We let her steer our dining experience and she did an amazing job, all her recommendations were perfect. We were very impressed. We are not local, but we plan to come back next time we are in town. Food was good , but the hostess which appears to be owner of the restaurant is very rude. After we received our enormous portion of food and could not finish she was completely insulted. Basically kicked us out of the Restaurant. Just put the bill on our table and walked away. Her ego is more important then making customers (WHO ARE BUYING FOOD FROM HER) happy. Would not recommend anyone going here. It appears I am not the only one who has experienced this first hand.

We stopped here for dinner on our last night in Jasper. The food is amazing. Our server was also amazing - she made several recommendations (which we took) and everything was delicious. The restaurant is cozy and something we didn’t expect. We were lucky and snagged a table right before the rush started but I would highly recommend making a reservation instead of winging it like we did because within 20 minutes there was an hour long wait. I would definitely go back to Cassios the next time we’re in Jasper.

First time here and will be back!! Was greeted at the door by a very friendly, well dressed woman. Upon sitting and reading over the menu we noticed it was a family run business. The same woman came over and I asked if by chance if she was the family . She was, this is the owner and what a friendly woman she is. The waitress was wonderful as well. Our meals were hot and delicious. Even tho we were full we read the dessert menu and we just had to try. All homemade and very yummy. Several times Anna would come over to see how things were and tpwatow the end she gave us her business card. We come thru town a few times a year and we will be back for another delicious meal and great service.

Honestly this place was where we felt the most appreciated for our business in Jasper. When we told them it was our 12 year anniversary they went above and beyond! We got a lovely table, the food was amazing, best carbonara I've ever had. Service was 5 stars! Well done guys! Thank you for making our anniversary so special.

We eloped in Jasper and went with our little group of guests to Cassios for dinner and I cant thank them enough. They accommodated us really well and Tricia was amazing, super friendly and helpful, the food was really delicious and the appetizers portions were huge!!! Everyone loved it! We had a great time and we'll be back again!!
