To All Gujjus - If you are vegetarian and deciding to go there, I would say " REHAV DO NA JAVAY". We ordered vegetarian dish - PANEER MASALA & DAL MAKHNI and taste of these CURRIES were not as we've expected and awful.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT VISIT/EAT HERE..! Horrendous experience! Pathetic taste! We had ordered Spring rolls, paneer masala, daal makhni and garlic naan’s. Spring rolls and naans were the only things edible options! Spring rolls i am assuming were frozen one’s which were fried and given! Because i am sure as hell that they cannot make that in house! Paneer Masala - was like tasteless tomato soup, with chilli and rubber like paneer and some onions and green bell peppers! Daal Makhni - Again, very soupy and bland! Didn’t taste fresh as well! My friends kid did not even eat 1 bite! Had to do with spring rolls for him! Not recommended at all! It took us ~2 hours to get in and out! ????????????!!!

Last evening we went into this restaurant with a lot of expectations as the place looked and smelt nice. Was hugely disappointed. To start off we ordered mango lassi and samosa. Mango lassi was good. Samosa was decent. Then we ordered chicken curry, chicken korma, and palak paneer. And God, how awful the taste was. The two chicken dishes were tasteless and bland. But the worst was the palak paneer. It was absolutely inedible. None of the three dishes had any flavor, any texture, and absolutely no taste. The palak paneer tasted like it was made with fish oil. So disgusting. I don't recommend this place at all. Possibly the worst Indian food I have had at any restaurant till date. Don't go there! By the way, giving credit where it's due, the staff and hospitality was quite nice. No complaints about that.

Food was incredibly satisfying! Good portion. Ordered the Paneer Tiki Masala with naan bread and side of jasmine rice. Server was prompt, friendly, and attentive. It looked like they were 1 server short, as he was serving the entire 10+ tables. But he didn’t act stressed and was very welcoming! Would definitely recommend.

Great to have this variety in far away Jasper, everything we ordered was ok, the appetizers were average - no variety in the pakoras and four pieces only, Papdi chaat was ordinary. The paneer tikka was nice as were the naan and jeera rice, decent quick service and ambience but the food didn’t stand out

While I can't speak to the dine-in experience, the staff were friendly, the service was quick - my order was ready in about 20 minutes - and, most importantly, the food was excellent! Rich and well-spiced, with a perfect amount of heat, and just done to perfection. The online ordering experience was smooth, picking up was easy, and their COVID protocol was solid. Not only would I go again, but I would absolutely recommend it.

It was 21th april looking for a place to eat indian food. We got this restaurant. Front guy was really nice. I forgot his name. Only thing we did not like was when we asked for vege biryani & they don’t have any way to make it. I would recommend you to please have vegetarian biryani or either vegetarian pulao. It’s a tourist place should have some basic items in the menu. Restaurant is nice… food was very good. Will recommend it to my friends in future visit to Jasper …????

These guys refused to serve food in their open hours ‘ coz they didn’t have enough staff. Reason the guy at reception gave was ‘they didn’t expect these many people. I see it as a lack of proper management. Even if they were unusually busy, which I don’t think so was the case based on number of ppl I saw ‘they can convince people to place simple/small orders as opposed to telling no and sending customers away.

Unfortunately due to covid the restaurant is closed for dine in, however that didn't stop them from dishing up some of the best butter chicken I've ever had. I've had a lot. I'm no beginner when it comes to Indian food. Call me surprised too because I wouldn't have expected it from a touristy town like Jasper. Anyway we had the Korma, Paneer, butter chicken and naan. Sat in the hotel room and enjoyed away. Also I have to say their mango lassi is outstanding. Very happy and will be back!!

The amazing quality of food, the extensive Indian choices on the menu is something that is hard to find in Jasper. Ordered their veggie samosas which were absolutely delicious. The Bhindi masala and Chicken Korma was amazing too, the Bhindi masala is definitely a must-have at Agni. We hope to order again soon!

Worst Indian food you can have, no taste/masala at all. It’s all bland, we ordered Paneer, Dal Tadka. Dal was all liquid like the ones you eat when you are sick. Paneer was just rubber. Air Conditioning was off/not working. For the record we visited on the Canada Day. I have had food from this place in 2019 as well, that time was fine but it’s the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER this time. Service is also really poor, just to get the cheque it took 10/15 minutes

Ordered food here and for $12.95, it was one of the most worth it Chana Masala that I had. Their portions were so generous and I’m pleased about that. Partner that up with a couple of garlic naan and you’ll have one fantastic dinner. Great food!

We ordered paneer and chunna masala and they were both way to oily. Also, the take out containers were awful and were leaking out the bottom. This stained my car seat. I was disappointed overall and they should definitely get better containers since the only option is take out at the moment

I and my wife were in Jasper for few days. We tried Agni Bistro as another indian restaurant was closed from M-T. Due to Covid their dining is closed, however you can have take-out and there are few tables outside where you cannhave your food. The taste is delicious! By far the best Indian restaurant among the ones in Jasper, Edmonton and Banff. The food is reasonably priced and their service is top notch. They patiently listened to all our food allergies/ specific needs and gave us good advice on what to order. Personally I like the concept of having thai food in the same place, opened up a lot of options for everyone. Bonus: they allow dogs in their outdoor under roof seating ( we had a tough time finding a dog friendly place in jasper) The only thing I didn't like was their vegetable pakora was just onion pakora.

So this is about today's takeaway order of butter chicken and paneer tikka masala where butter chicken was hell tasteless and paneer was too oily and to be very honest i have never had such worst food in entire canada except today. Especially the expectation for butter chicken was high but it was just a pinch of chicken with a lot sugar in it!!!!! Daal and paneer masala gravy was straight up watery..and felt like it was frozen and warmed up before giving it to us...daal makhni had no flavor..forget about makkhan. Rice had no salt at all.. if you're absolutely hungry then you can eat this As a last option. I'll give it 3/10 because Naan was half decent...would not recommend ???? 3/10!

The food and service deserve four stars. However, I felt that the prices were a bit high. I ordered the chicken korma, which should have been served with rice, but I had to order it on the side, which itself is ridiculous because korma should automatically come with rice, furthermore, it cost me $4, rice is inexpensive and there's no reason to charge someone that much for something that should have been served with the meal. Also, ask for a slice of lemon for the water to cover up the over powering taste of chlorine. Considering the menu prices, I would expect fresh water that doesn't taste like it was piped in from a swimming pool.

Just had food today from Agni after a year it was mind blowing. Really like the consistent taste, quality and quantity of culinary diversity provided by Agni it’s really tremendous. For town like jasper it’s really a great value for money and I proud to have Agni as Asian bistro in jasper town to fulfill all Asian authentic palette and mouthwatering taste. They do started sushi as well which is really quite up to the mark. I will highly recommend to visit Agni while you are in Jasper town.

Went here after seeing the reviews. We had ordered Chicken tikka masala, spring roll, paneer tikka masala, daal tadka, garlic naan, roti and jeera rice. The food lacked flavour and tasted o.k. Nothing special and nothing like indian food. The food wasn't spicy at all and all our items felt that they lacked salt. The food is probably more catered towards western crowd. The ambience of the restaurant and the service is good. If you don't like spicy food then this restaurant might be a good choice else try something else.

Went to this restaurant today food was good but seems like they were understaffed only 2 people taking care of all the orders and restaurant was fully packed, very poor service and quantity of food served was very little for the amount we paid, we were 4 adults with 5 year old and 1year toddler(sleeping) still they charged us 15% gratuities for a group of six a total ripoff.

I was not expecting to find such good Indian food in the middle of Jasper. If you’re craving Indian food, this will definitely feed your cravings. The Garlic Naan was one of the best I’ve had in any Indian place. All the gravies were excellent as well. If you’re looking for Halal options, this place does serve it. The only thing not Halal are the Asian dishes (Thai and Chinese).

Good for takeout. They make a good Lamb Rogan Josh and Dal Tadka, pairs well with Jasmine Rice. Or their Lamb Kababs, though the quantity of said kababs is less for the price charged. They also have Kingfisher beer, great to wash down one’s meal. If staying around Jasper and looking to stay in for the evening, this presents a good takeout option (if one is willing to pick up one’s meal during the day before heading back).

Ordered Kung Pao, Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic naan. My husband said it was the best Kung Pao he's ever tasted and my Chicken Tikka Masala was absolutely amazing. The garlic naan was perfect, crispy, not greasy and so tasty. The menu has a great selection of different cuisines. We may even return tonight as we leave Jasper tomorrow and I just can't wait to eat here again. Polite and friendly service (dine in currently not available due to COVID). Efficient and accurate order. We shall be back and we will for sure recommend you.

A strong 4.2 star as nothing is perfect. Excellent food/quality with decent portion at a cheap price. It took us 25min to get our food but we didnt preorder. We also got there at 1800h. So it is pretty much on our fault. Just a bit too much salt in the chicken korma. I guess some people love it that way. Otherwise the pad thai was excellent. You want to go there.

Little gem in Jasper . I went in with very minimum expectation but I was surprised at how good everything was and how everything tasted quite authentic . We ordered daal makhni, garlic naan and lamb kebab and everything was very flavorful and well cooked . Food service is fast and staff is super friendly. It would be unfair for anyone to give a less star because they charged for rice , because we learned that charging for a side of rice is very standard throughout Alberta region restaurants. Only sad thing was I saw a photo of Falooda advertised on yelp and on their entrance sign but unfortunately they do not serve that . Rest everything else was very satisfactory .

I honestly did not expect such amazing Indian food in Jasper. Always going back to this place for delicious Indian food. We ordered garlic naan, raita, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala , dal makhni and aloo gobhi. Honestly, this wad the best aloo gobhi I have had in any Indian restaurant. The garlic naan was soo tasty that you can eat that on its own. Butter chicken was simply amazing amazing and so did the other dishes. Defintely recommend this place.

THIS IS NOT INDIAN FOOD. If you are looking for overpriced food that is "cooked" by heating ready-to-eat packets, then this is the place for you. The service was terribly slow (even when they were not that busy). If you must have Indian food, order yellow daal as it was the only good thing.

Food is unique,We loved the appetizers specially chicken Tikka I never had chicken Tikka like that in my life amazing thats all i can say for now about the main course had a lamb shank with crispy garlic naan was too good and flavorful.if you go Agni bistro you must try mango kulfi with gulabjamun sounds little funny but great combination love it.specially wana tel you guys if you looking for halal food here is the place to go.

Great selection of Indian and Thai curries, and lots of options for vegetarians. The staff working there over the August long weekend were absolute champs as a small number of them were juggling the phone and walk-up orders (for take-out and delivery only) while packing up dishes to go. We ended up receiving a wrong dish in our order, and they corrected the mistake, free of charge, in mere minutes. The food was delicious and I appreciate the protocols they have put in place to keep staff and customers safe at this time. I'll definitely head back as their Dal Tadka can't be beat!

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai. Overall, very disappointing! Do not recommend! Pros: - free delivery Cons: - Delivery takes over 2 hours (website said 45 minutes) - Food is cold and bland (asked for it extra spicy, was not spicy at all!) - Comes in a cardboard container which sticks to the food…..so the bottom layer is garbage unless you want to to eat noodles coated in cardboard.

Food is absolutely great here but was disappointed to see all the kitchen staff without face masks. Was there to pick up my food and noticed these kitchen staff laughing and talking while standing right in front of the food counter. It’s disgusting cuz some of their saliva drops could fall directly in the food. In these times everybody especially the food service must be extra careful.

Hopeless food. Poor services No cleaning at all. Cashier (attendant) is only person who is cleaning tables with dirty cloth , he cleaned the table after that pack food without cleaning his hands. The cloth he used to clean tables is very dirty. I must say health and safety must audit this location

Yesterday I ordered food, it was my life's worst food I've ordered butter chicken and dal with some chapati's (which I couldn't even bite because it was too hard and it felt like it was stale from a long time), I ate little bit and got sick. I wasted my time and money. Please don't go to this resturant.

My wife and I were looking for some take out after a day of wandering about and taking in the sights. It seemed personally to be strange that there was an Indian restaurant with Thai/Chinese/Japanese dishes on it but the menu was clearly laid out and we settled on a few items. The Kung Pao Chicken was good but I felt that it was not spicy enough for me and a little on the sweet side. The Palak Paneer was very good as was the Aloo Gobi. Good Value and the quality was on point with the price.

Amazing staff and great food. Were able to make the butter chicken gluten and dairy free for my daughter, They even let us switch tables before our order came in!!... I do recommend the Lamb Shank Masala with rice.. spicy curry with a slight crunch of fried onions... with an accompaniment of fragrant Basmati rice...IT was succulent and well marinated. Loved it even though I do not prefer lamb. Servers were very attentive and accomodating... High marks on all fronts...

First time We had dine in after that we ordered two three times for take out every time before order I told about the previous experience and they promise you ,that you won't have this problem next time.This is my last time I ordered my food and salad too they charged and didn't give the salad. So I phoned them to inform I didn't received that salad they said we are super busy didn't apologize and I don't have time argue with you and she hanged up on me I won't go there in future and requesting you all not to go there . If you have eat their pls take stainless steel teeth because their rotis are super hard pls avoid this place....

Wish there was option of 0 star . Went in for dinner with family, wished had just eaten somewhere else instead. High priced , low quantity and it doesnt taste like indian food at all. Ordered papdi chaat but it was more like potato chaat with sprinkle of papdi on top . No salt in the food at all and no taste. Never going back again for sure.

They have a separate vegan menu with a good number of options on it. We had the fritters, samosas and green Thai curry. I would highly recommend them! There are many non-vegan options as well if you are going with friends/family.
