After nosing wines for the past 26 yrs, it is such a pleasure to be in a family run winery hosted by one the owners! He was genuine and enlightening. We especially loved playing the guessing game when nosing his oaked and unoaked Chardonnays! Since 2001 we have visited 95% of the wineries and Hubb Creeks Pinot Noir is now at the top of our favourites list.

Of the 8 vineyards/wineries we visited in Prince Edward County Hubbs Creek was one of our favourite. We visited Karlo Estates across the road right before walking over to Hubbs and we much preferred Hubbs. It was small (definitely not for bus tours or bachelorette parties) and the owner was super friendly. There were only 5 kinds of wine versus the 10+ at Karlo and the small variety at Hubbs was much better. It’s really a case of quality of quantity.

John welcomed us at the winery after the harvest of 2015 during our trip to Prince Edward County. It might be 2016 (memories get confused haha). He was very welcoming we enjoyed talking with him on the front porch of the winery. We bought a few bottles of the Pinot Noir 2013. I opened one these bottle last night and it aged beautifully. Fantastic wine! Thank you very much.

What a beautiful visit. Came in for a tasting over the weekend and was so pleased. The pinot noir and gris we tried were fabulous. Hospitality from the owner made the visit so much more intimate. This is a "must visit" if you're in the County!

My friend and I loved Hubbs Creek! The owners and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The Rose was delicious and refreshing- I purchased two bottles to take home. Cute barnyard style building with nice patio chairs outside so you can enjoy your wine in the sun. Will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to others visiting the county!

This is a great family run winery indeed ... a beautiful country drive in Prince Edward County area ,... the people are great and friendly and the wine is spectacular,... well worth to visit and not far from Wellington Ontario ... just a perfect vacation spot... definitely will visit again.
