Awesome vibe in the restaurant but even better food! Let me first start by saying that the waitstaff were multilingual and even had English menus. Even though the menu is not that large there are many flavors to choose from! I chose the 3 course meal with chicken wings for my appetizer ( with all three sauces/flavors on the side since I wanted to taste them before choosing my main course flavor), half rack of ribs + breast for the main course and for dessert, Chomeur Pudding. The chicken, wings and breast were so flavorful and tender with either flavor of choice you won't go wrong, unless you don't like spicy then you probably want to avoid the Piri Piri (South African/ Portuguese inspired) flavor. The ribs were amazing as well. The finally the dessert...OMG...My taste buds have never been so overjoyed as a junk food junkie this cake was enough for two but I devoured it almost alone and I definitely need to try that again. When I got ready to leave I was completely and miserably full but over the moon satisfied. I wanted to know who was back there cooking this stuff... that's just how far in disbelief I was at this explosion of flavor for each course of my meal. Another restaurant that I could eat at every day and 5 stars is not enough!

The food was ok. Ordered a club sandwich which was just ok. Pretty skimpy on the bacon and the French fries were cold. Not a big fan of the sauce which seemed watery to me. Overall I found it costly for what I got. Other places like Benny's and Scores are a lot better. Perhaps just this location though.

I was so hungry, went to pick up two boxes and came home to find out that the order was not complete. Called to complain about it. The person that I spoke with said that they will have my order delivered to my house. 30 mins later (at 8:15pm) James called and said that all his drivers are out and he will have it delivered when they get back and said that he doesn't know when they will be back. I basically paid for something that I never got. He said he'll have his boss call me to see if she could reimburse me for the missing meal. Did not apologize or take the initiative to give a proper customer service. Unbelievable! Would definitely not return to this place.

I went to this St-hubert on a tuesday at noon. Although there was not a lot of clients, it took a long time to get service and our food. However, the food was hot and tasty. I do recommend the chicken poutine and the ribs which are a sure bet. i love their classic coleslaw which you can get an infinite amount. good lunch options.

Hey! They renovated the restaurant! Well we walked in at 7pm and there was no sign anywhere to wait ro be seated but we still stood there waiting for anyone to acknowledge us...at least 5 waitresses passed us by without a single look, then the hostess came to seat us but put us in a secluded area away from anyone even though I specifically asked to be seated amongst the crowd. Then she acted very annoyed that I made her seat us elsewhere. Then the wait started for a waitress to come take our order but no one did for at least 10 minutes. No glass of water, nothing. Someone then said "it won't be long" and ran away even though I was asking her a question. Disorganized. It's not because they are understaffed because there must have been 6 waitresses working the half empty restaurant. 3 tables around us were full of dirty plates and no pne seemed in a hurry ro clean up any of it. The new decor is very bleak. Lots of black and gray which is the colour of indifference like the staff. They closed the kitchen wall where we used to be able to see the cooks, they need to hide the mess that they do in there. But the mess in the dinning room is exposed for all to see. Never again. I rather eat elsewhere. Which is what we finally did. (This is my previous review) Now Swiss Chalet owned (Cara), St-hubert is a family place, not a trendy hipster restaurant. Don't expect anything more than a 3 star experience if you have no kids or under the age of 30. If you have been coming here for the last 40 years, it will make you warm and fuzzy inside when they ask you if you want the traditional or the creamy... This location has definitely changed for the better since I've worked here 30 years ago. The renovations a decade or more ago has definitely given it a better feel and look. There is a very nice bar area and closed "Sailing" room where you can host private gatherings. The booths are comfortable, the restaurant is clean and comfy, with lots of space and natural light coming from their front windows facing St-Charles blvd. The staff is friendly and if you are a regular, they can even guess what you will order in advance! Not the best place to get a juicy steak (their Angus cut is too thin and dry) but a good rotisserie to bring the whole family, even the very small ones will be able to enjoy at the kids "playground", a tiny Ronald McDonald type of area specifically designed to kill time before they eat. This is not a high expectations restaurant. This is a good, fast, decently priced restaurant serving family food with a bar and playroom (which are separate). The chicken pies and ribs and pudding chômeur are some of my family's favorites. My favorite is dipping everything in their BBQ sauce.

Worst service. Ordered club sandwich. Took beyond even the 45 minutes their website projected, and they are five minutes away. The sandwich I received had next to no chicken in it and the bread was burnt. Called them back about it, and they said they'd send another one. Ten or fifteen minutes later their manager calls and asks again if I'd like them to send another sandwich. I said the other employee already told me they would. He reconfirmed that they were going to send the sandwich. I asked if it would take long, as it was getting late. He said they had a driver around, so they would send the replacement sandwich soon. It is now almost another hour later and no sandwich has arrived. I give up on this place. Will never order again. Order from Rotisserie Et Grillades Lachine, if you want a good club and fast service.

This is cream de la cream, the epitome of chicken cooked to perfect in a new and improved facelift that does this understated place some serious justice. This restaurant has progressed from its fast food looks into a bonafide veteran looking cafe/bar styling with Mason jar light fixtures to add some moody lighting theme found in places with some class. Their piri-piri chicken has just the right touch of spiciness that adds flavour to the ever classic chicken leg I always get for a long time. They also updated their service tools in some full automated touch screen ipad like displays that send custom orders straight to the kitchen. Service is fast and without a single blemish in their pursuit to excellence. Great music and clean contemporary washrooms. Highly recommended! Viva la St. Hubert!

Their gravy was the real highlight here. It tasted so good with the chicken and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was really flavourful. Their coleslaw was rich and creamy, something I loved as well. The mixed platter included sweet potato fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, and chicken wings. Everything was served hot and crunchy. The burger was incredibly flavourful. The seasoned chicken was contrasted by the creamy coleslaw. I really enjoyed it.

Oh my God, it's so salty. I went to have a late dinner and chose to have the 2 legs meal. The chicken was slightly overcook and dry. My girlfriend had a rice and noodle soup with the mixed appetizers plate. The ribs were almost charcoal but the rest was fine. In general, the soup was the most salty food I ever ate but the rest of the meal was almost very salty. The waitress was very nice though.

Anticipated a great meal. That was accomplished. The low rating is because of the complete fail to monitor and adjust incoming guests to seat them in the order they took their reservation. Very disappointed in the host reception and the 75 minute wait when initially told 20 minutes and watched 4 or 5 tables get seated ahead of us. St Hubert's, you can do better.

I'm a long-time fan of St-Hubert....first visit to this location. There's no playroom for kids as with other locations. The service was lacking a bit, we had to keep asking for the things we ordered (such as the coleslaw.- I mean that's a St-Hub staple, no?) And the food was OK...seemed a little salty. My office Team (7) and myself went out for Lunch at this restaurant today, 22JUN2017. We arrived at 12:10PM and were seated. We ordered from the MIDI-Express menu, and waited a full 45 minutes, STILL NO FOOD!!! Our General manager had to leave and go back to our office as our Lunch hour finished at 1:00PM. We that remained asked for our orders to be boxed up & they still hadn't brought it out by 1:15PM. We spoke to the manager who didn't seem to care. She stated that it was our fault for switching our order to take out, as that takes longer, and that they were backed up at drive-through. We left with no Lunch, no service. We have ordered St-Hubert for a lot of our company Lunches and Dinners and never received such HORRIBLE and uncaring service!!!

Went there for 4 chicken burgers, these sandwiches are really BIG, worth their money, although you are expected to pay a bit on the higher end (four combo meal sandwiches with coleslaw on the side set me back $74 including 15% tip, so be prepared). It was my second time eating from St-Hubert and I can highly recommend going for their chicken burger sandwich, they even put a bit of their delicious coleslaw in the sandwich too! I went to the restaurant in Lachine for a take out order yesterday. The cashier told me it would take 10 to 15 minutes to get my 2 1/4 chicken dinners. 45 minutes later I was still waiting for my order and no one clued in that we were standing there for 45 minutes. Apparently the boxes were stuck in the conveyer. People who came in to eat in the restaurant were leaving before I got my order. The only thing they offered us was 2 free desserts. On top of it we had ordered mashed potatoes with a chicken breast and got a leg with fries. I am very dissatisfied with the service. They took our receipt to take it to the back to make new dinners and not only messed up our order but didn't give me back me receipt. It was order #431.

A very nice restaurant, well maintained and cleaned and excellent service from the staff for a large party. The coleslaw is good and is constantly replaced which was a good thing because of the food. I had eaten chicken the previous two nights so wanted something different. I went with the half rack of ribs with fries. The fries were excellent and came in a generous but not excessive portion. The ribs however were well cooked and very tender, they could have used more sauce but that's not my concern - they were tiny. The half rack was about the size of my palm and given the bone to meat ratio not worth the price at all. Very disappointing. So go for the chicken but forget the ribs.

Nicest st hubert’s I’ve been to. They have a separate bar section that is really quite fancy. The food - one of my favourite. The staff were great and fast and the setup is nice for noise travel. There’s also a huge parking lot so no need to worry about parking.

For all the fantastic fair priced restaurants in Montreal, I would only catch myself here again if nothing else is open or close by. Sure, the service is good, the restaurants are clean, but they've gotten so expensive in relation to the level of quality. Look around there's better BBQ places all over, better and cheaper. One of my favorite go to family restaurant since I was a kid. Perfect place to hang with friends for beers and wings while watching one of the games on their many big screen TVs. Something between the fast food and restaurant, St-Hubert offers a descent food for the price. Good place for a quick bite of a roasted chicken and a pint of beer (only recently I noticed other beers then Bud or Molson Canadian). I always hated their desserts (a lot of people loves their brownies though) while I personally love their home made gravy.

For a Chinese ordering food in a Saguenay hotel on Good Friday night, it should be difficult. However this St Hubert handled it with ease. Staff tried their best to help me with my order, Generous portion of whole chicken, crispy with strong aroma, clean and flavorful coleslaw, and four big hot sauce cans. This restaurant just satisfied me same as some great 5star restaurants had - Great execution in a whole package. Appreciated. One of the best St Hubert chain locations!

The agent only said that he would contact someone from Lachine and request that we be called back. After all these difficulties with my order, all I am offered is simply to give me a $ 5 credit applicable on a future order. With an additional expiration date. . The food was okay but my gosh the service was painfully slow. We arrived at the site just before 5:00 and left at near 8:30. Even as a group of 20-ish people, there were large groups that arrived about 1 hour (perhaps even more) after us and left before us. I think this was probably the lengthiest dinner meal I ever had. There were lengthy waits between meal courses and a lengthy mix-up with the receipts.

Had a really bad experience with this place. I reserved online on a Wednesday. I received a confirmation number for my reservation, making me believe that my table was booked for that Friday. I also received a reminder about my reservation on Thursday. So you can imagine my surprise when the restaurant called me the day of my reservation, at 12:30, to let me know that they were fully booked for that night! I asked the lady how was that possible since I had my confirmation number. She told me that the internet booking system, which is used by many restaurants in the area, was not reliable. I told her that I used that same system before to book at other restaurants and I never had any issues with my reservations. She told me that they only looked at the online reservation Friday before lunch (remember, I had booked 2 days prior) and that this is when they realized they didn't have a table available for our group of 8. And then she had the guts to tell me that I should have called! Like, really lady??? Why is the restaurant even giving the option of booking online if they don't plan to honour the reservation? And you know what the worst part is? That lady didn't even seem to care (Why would she? They were fully booked for that night after all....). Didn't try too much accommodate us, and NEVER apologized for this screw up. So I let her know that I was really disappointed by this poor service, and that I was not impressed that I now had to find another place for my group of 8 people. She replied that there should be plenty of restaurants that could accommodate us (last minute, on a Friday afternoon, for the evening...yeah right). Clap. Clap. Clap. (this is me slow clapping to her champion remark). So all in all, if this is the way they treat their clients, I prefer taking my business elsewhere. And I would recommend you do the same. PS: I had to give a rating of 1 star because unfortunately, Google didn't let me put 0 star....

We bought four parcels of chicken... they gave us 2 regular size chicken and two trays of very small tiny chicken.. and we asked for rice and they gave us fries..not too happy with what they did with our food..

The food here is good, but the service not so much. I arrived at noon and waited a whole half hour for the entrées. The ribs on one of the plates were warm and dry, unlike they are advertised throughout the menu. I would recommend going to another location if you really want to go to a St-Hubert because the music is loud, obnoxious and just isn't what it was before renovations last year

Although we go more to the one in Gatineau than Hull, this is definitely not a bad place to go. Food and service has always been good at this location also.

Good service , nice staff ..Except for manager , I have observed him do nothing but scold employees. Real lack of leadership , as a customer I am not supposed to see this type of behavior. It is causing employees to be shop talking. Nobody in the restaurant seems to be complaining about service but this man is behaving inappropriately towards his staff. The food is good , the show is pathetic by this man is pathetic. Whoever at St Hubert is in charge of training needs to guide this man with where and when to debrief staff. In front of customers is totally unacceptable

Terrible front desk service - rude, ignorant and very uninformed on how they are listed online. Had it not been for our waitress and the food itself - I would have given this restaurant a 1 star rating. The initial experience ruined the start of our night out as a family -truly disappointed.

If you are into chicken :) this has several options for you to try. I would stick to the breaded chicken fillets and chicken wings as they are tasty. Strangely enough their signature chicken combo is for me too plain and virtually tasteless.

I was intrigued at the waitresses ability to flip from french to english between tables. We felt welcomed right away and our cups were never empty. The food was great! We were only in Quebec for a few hours and I am definitely glad that we chose St Hubert as our lunch destination... everyone had chicken (pot pie, on a salad, with ribs, in soup) and all four of us were silent throughout the meal. YUM.

This St. Hubert location is excellent! My companions and I had an incredible experience. The shared appetizers were amazing, and the service was one of the best resturant experiences I've had in a long time. As well, a must-have is their Apple Delight dessert.
