Amazing wine selection offered by an extremely knowledgeable and passionate owner. They offer great flights that change periodically and offer new experiences and explore different regions, varietals, or let the dealer choose! Beautifully curated food selections complete the experience. Great little bites, cheese boards, and charcuterie trays (try the truffle popcorn!) Very cool layout with intimate out group seating.

Went here over the weekend and it was such a lovely experience. The staff is knowledgeable but not pretentious and the setting is both intimate and casual. The prices were also amazing! This place is such a hidden gem.

Went here yesterday with a few friends and it was such a fun & eye opening experience. The staff is so knowledgable and perfectly descriptive when explaining each wine, it really made me gain a new love for wine! The food was great as well and the ambiance was super moody and relaxing. Definitely coming back here again!

What a super great spot for tasting and eating. The wine selections by the glass are excellent. And the food is delish. Casual atmosphere, yet the design and decor are extremely refined and high-end (a designer's dream spot). I'll be making my way back to this spot, too hard to resist :)

Had a fantastic time last Friday night at Buyers & Cellars! We were a group of 8, socially distance as 2 groups of 4 guests seated in front of the beautiful kitchen, the back space is stunning! Curtis' product knowledge and story telling behind each of the wines we tried was so thoughtful and appreciated! Chef made to order the popcorn and anchovies, loved his tshirt! We had a wonderful time, and will be returning - highly recommend this very affordable experience!

Our new favourite place in Ottawa. My girlfriend and I went last Saturday night. We sat around the wine tasting bar, and Amanda, our amazing bartender walked us through about 10 different wines. It was like going on a European adventure! We also had a stunning charcuterie board and delicious nuts. If you’re looking for a unique and curated experience for date night, or a client meeting, this is the spot. I almost don’t want to leave a review because I don’t want anyone else to know about this absolute gem! Best part is, if you like a wine you sampled, you can buy a bottle to bring home - at retail price! Can’t wait to go back.

I'm here regularly because I absolutely love it - I'd give it 6 stars if I could. I can't recommend it enough, and there so much to love about the place. The wines are unique and delicious, and the tasting experience is so much fun - and you can learn lots about what you like in a wine if you don't already know. Curtis and Amanda are both awesome and reeeeeally know their stuff. Plus, they sell the wines at retail prices so you can take some home. The place looks extremely high end (wow to the designer) but your bill will always be shockingly reasonable. Try out the food too - it's all made locally or in house and it's delicious (I recommend the charcuterie and the truffle popcorn). I love that they have wines you can't find anywhere else, especially from the more unique regions like Croatia or Jordan. Try this place out - you won't regret it. Perfect for a celebratory drink, catch up with a friend, or a date.

Come and explore wines you will not see at LCBO! learn about them from friendly and knowledgeable staff - real sommeliers - in a relaxed and stylish tasting room. You can even enjoy some tasty nibbles - I’ve heard the charcuterie is quite good! This place is definitely 10/10!

I've been to Buyers and Cellars multiple times now and every time I look forward to coming back! The selection of wines is fantastic. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and courteous. Good food as well. If you want to know more about wine or just love to drink it, this is the spot. My favourite place in Ottawa!

This place is highly highly recommended for those who love wine (or for those who want to explore wine)!! When we first entered, the vibe of the place was modern, decorated beautifully. There were some attention to detail where they used a wine dispensing machine and even provided unscented soaps in the washrooms so that the scents do not distract from the wines we were drinking. Pretty much everything was clean. Staff on site wore a mask at all times and sanitizers were available at every other seats. And to minimize contact with other guests there, the washrooms were split between us and the other group. Now, the selection of wine was just incredible. So many options to choose from. There were some wine from very unique and uncommon places which was very appealing. Curtis, the sommelier, was extremely knowledgeable about the wines. The service he, and the chef, provided us with was exceptional where they both made sure that we had a great experience during our stay. Couldn't have asked for more. In fact, Curtis pulled up photos of the actual wineries that produced the wines we drank which was quite captivating, making the experience more enjoyable. The food was excellent as well. We ordered the charcuterie board for 2 and cheese board for 2. It was all very delightful and paired well with the variety of wines that we tried. Personally, their homemade Cumberland sauce and the pickled veggies went very well with a lot of the meats and cheeses on the boards. Delicious! Clearly, everything about this place is phenomenal. We will definitely be back to try more!

Had a birthday dinner here tonight and tried a ton of wine samples & flights. Went with 4 friends and we all loved it and were saying how much we look forward to going back again. Curtis answered all our wine questions and gave us great background to each sample. Some very unique wines are carried here that you won't find at the LCBO. The chef, Chris, whipped us up some delicious charcuterie plates and tapas style eats. It was more then a meal, it was a social experience. Highly recommend.

Casually and effortlessly guiding you on a thoughtful and personal journey, tasting wines from familiar destinations but unique wineries you definitely won't find at your LCBO or Winerack. Prices are very reasonable for a flight or charcuterie board. Perfect for a local night out. It's an experience that's hard to top anywhere else in Ottawa! It was definitely a challenge not leaving with more bottles of wine!

One of the best experiences i've had during COVID. A different kind of experience, that is very affordable. Amanda was super helpful and knowledgeable, without any pretention, in guiding us through the different types of wines and flavors. We paired with some cheeses and dip which was awesome and changed the flavor profile. We brought home a few souvenirs that we really enjoyed tasting. One of the best nights my wife and I have had in a while - will definitely be going back soon. Even if you're not a "wine person", you won't regret giving this place a shot- its just really fun.

We celebrated our 25th wedding Anniversary in style . We had an amazing time sampling wines from around the world. Food was delicious and atmosphere was luxurious but comfortable. There is no need to go to the LCBO anymore when you can shop at Buyers and Cellars . Shop local!

Found our new go-to date night spot! Went this past weekend and loved every bit of it. The place is beautiful, spacious, super clean, and the staff treated us exceptionally well. Learned lots about a nice spread of wine after working our way through a couple taster flights and then picking out a selection of others that looked enticing. Amanda was super knowledgeable and helped to make the education part more fun. Wines were absolutely delicious. The bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. Took us 1.5 years to get there after Covid canceled our original plans but it was well worth the wait! All the precautions are taken to ensure a safe visit and make you feel comfortable. Definitely not waiting 1.5 years to go back! Thank you for helping to make our long overdue date one of the best we’ve ever had ????

We had a wonderful evening at Buyers and Cellars, with the chance to enjoy a wide variety of interesting, uncommon, and tasty wines under the curation of the very knowledgable (and highly personable) Amanda Ramsay. The charcuterie platters, bacon wrapped dates, olives and bean dip were scrumptious and would have been worth coming for on their own - kudos to chef Chris Archer. To round out the evening we brought home a bottle of one of the wines we tried. This business is a great concept and one which I hope finds much success. We will certainly be back.

Curtis took excellent care of us. We ordered Dealer's Choice flights - they were thoughtfully crafted to our individual tastes with some gentle boundary-pushing that absolutely paid off. I enjoyed expanding my palate and we even went home with 5 different bottles. The small plates we ordered paired beautifully with the wines that were selected for us. We'll be back!
