Amazing experience eating and drinking here. Awesome patio, helpful staff, and delicious food and drinks. I would reccomend the Roasted Vegetable Sandwich and then get the queso dip to dip your HOMEMADE CHIPS THAT COME WITH IT AHH. YUM.

This place was great. I stopped in recently on a drive through to Vancouver and it was a super nice location with a great interior and lots of patio space. The sandwiches were tasty and the beer was fantastic. I bought a glass so I can be reminded of them when I drink beer at home in Kamloops.

Great beers, especially the Beergarita is a nice summer touch. However we found the kitchen inconsistencies a bit frustrating. It's important to note their weekly menu is different from the weekend menu, and even then many of the menu items are not actually available. Being vegetarian, the only choices we're cheese buns, feta and spinach rolls. They were sold out of the flatbread (which was delicious last time we had it) so it makes it hard to plan for snacks, etc when the menu is in a constant state of flux. Otherwise, we enjoyed the beers and service has been good overall.

Great selection of brews. The Colour of Pomegranates, my pick of the evening, was enjoyed while visiting with family under the shade of the covered deck while the gents enjoyed the chocolate mint stout. The flatbread and meat & cheese plate were delicious our server was great. We will return again soon.

We were very excited to go to mountain view unfortunately covid lock Down caught us and the patio was not open until Friday. We took.some beer to go however the first blood is awesome. Will be back when we.can.

We stopped by to have some food and drinks on our way back to Vancouver. The patio is dog-friendly, so we brought our pup out. The staff was very considerate, they brought out some water for our dog on their own accord. Very grateful for that. We tried the beergarita, a sour. It was quite pleasant, not too sour which was nice. Food took a while to get to us but the crunch taco and beef dip was delicious. Overall a great place to spend the evening out on the patio.

I have been to Mountain View a couple of times now and I am in love! Great tasty beer and cider options! I have yet to try food but I will 100% be back to do so. The pretzels look amazing and I really like how they have more food options then most breweries. The staff is super kind, helpful, and friendly. Love the atmosphere and the open windows into the brewing area. Definitely recommend!

November 2021, mudslide closed all Highways leaving Hope. These fine people along with everyone else I met in hope made the 4 day stay very enjoyable. Great Beer & pretzels. Even offered Free Soup and showers to us people stranded. Thank you very much! See you next time through......

I was really looking forward to visiting here since it opened. I've enjoyed my visits to other craft breweries and was hoping for the same experience. A few drinks, some good food, a great ambiance. Sadly our first visit was when Covid first hit and was very lack luster. Half the tables were empty yet we couldn't get a seat due to "reservations". Granted, I was there at the very start of Covid but I know you weren't at capacity at that point in time. Half empty room turning people away at the door isn't a good start. I did cut you some slack though by coming back. I thought, new bar owners, maybe don't really understand first come first serve makes more money and my genuine want to try it out made me try again. My second experience was far worse. There was no designated line up. it was basically a free for all once I was inside. People walked in front of me in the "line up" and ordered even though I was standing there waiting my turn. There was definitely no social distancing happening. People were wandering all over the place and standing a couple of feet away from me because there were no servers to take orders and there was no clear "the line up starts here and wait your turn" signs or markings. I don't mind a cafeteria setting when I'm in a cafeteria but I wasn't in a cafeteria. Unimpressive. I finally placed my order and asked if I could run a tab because I had planned on spending some money in your fine establishment but that was axed real quick. I was told I had to leave my credit card behind the bar!!! WHAT IS UP WITH THAT!!!! How very 70's/80's of you and I'm pretty sure THAT goes against your agreement with all of the credit cards companies that you accept. Needless to say my credit card stayed in my wallet, we finished our drinks and left.

A nice space. Their IPA and Dark Side of Town are both good. Some guest taps and the food is reasonably priced snacks with interesting specials. The service is excellent.

We ate here a couple weeks ago and we are *still* talking about how delicious the pulled pork sandwich was. And it was just the perfect size, with some Kettle Chips for crunch. Yum. Yum. Yum. This will likely be my new favourite place to stop for lunch when travelling along highway 1.

This place was our savour in the middle of the night. We were able to order a charcuterie board after last call. Tried a bunch of yummy beer. The board had pickled onions and asparagus, which was fairly unique and tasty. The service was great!

The First Blood Orange - Imperial Wheat Ale on its own is worth a stop (on your way to the coast or the interior) -let alone everything else the beautiful town of Hope has to offer.

An amazing new addition to Hope. A brew pub with excellent beer, tasty snacks, and a dog friendly patio. They deliver your beer in a mini "Japanoid" truck made to look like a fire dept. emergency vehicle. And you might consider your beer exactly that! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our visit so much! The cheese and meat board was high quality delicious products! I’d add fruit/berries to it to make it perfect for my liking. I loved pomegranate raspberry beer so much and brought a 4-pack home. My husband got First blood orange, it’s so different and good! Their dog friendly patio is very cute, the space inside looked cool too! A must stop in Hope.

Not a bad place. Wish they would have their tap list online. Otherwise their beers were pretty good. The chocolate mint was nice and their dark side was pretty good. We also went here for their Yorkies special. Very yummy. Didn't take a picture as we are it too fast. Lol.

This place is a must-visit when in Hope. Great food and drinks with friendly staff. The Everything Pretzel was amazing ! We had to stop ourselves from ordering more. Looking forward to coming back again for another meal or snack.

Stopped here on our way though and was not disappointed. I had the Rice Lager which was top notch and others in my group had a variety of the other beers. Everyone especially enjoyed the beergarita. The beer was good enough for me to ask our local beer store to look into stocking some at their location. The food was also excellent, our group had some pretzels, pulled pork and the veggie and beef taco crunch. Everything was fantastic and the staff were great. Highly recommended.

West coast brewery tour continues…..out for a run today from NVancouver in +35C heat so our our top down run to Merritt we decided to hit Hope BC. Discovered this oasis and like always, beer on a hot day can’t be missed ????. Interesting fun fact…..back in 2018 I lived in the travelodge next door for almost a year for work….at that time there was no brewery! Got to say…..if there was, it would have been dangerous ????.

This is more of a suggestion than a review. Don't have 'please wait to be seated' signs when its a bar service only and you have to seat yourself ....and place numbers on your tables so when the customer does place an order, the server knows where to deliver it. Other than that, we enjoyed our time here.

My friend and I went for a pint and were pleasantly surprised by the incredible food. We both had the pulled pork which was perfectly seasoned topped with crunchy cabbage and nestled in a super fresh homemade bun. We both highly recommend it. And the beer was pretty great too!

we make a point of stopping here after every trip to manning park (or any time we’re coming through hope). the owners have clearly put a ton of love into this place and the gender inclusive bathrooms are a favourite of mine. the pretzels are amazing but the beer is even better. has the awesome craft brewery vibe and the branding is all on point and fun. super happy to finally have somewhere on the drive! vegan options too.

They did well during covid. Organized and good employees who are friendly and don't overreact to people and policy. Nice clean place, and very good beers. Would recommend if in Hope. Parking was plentiful.

Travelled two hours with a full table and they were out of most food options including their special by 7pm on a Saturday. We were so hungry and disappointed. Not a single apology or anything to try and make sure we still enjoyed our time. Beer was okay, but not worth the drive, not a single person came to make sure everything was okay. They had many opportunities to make things better and they just didn’t care. (Changed my Review to one star after their comment) As you can see still no apology for the service or quality just “sorry to hear it” and just a list of excuses, of course blaming covid (although other facilities seem to be managing just fine with their busyness) and no value in our time WE spent traveling to try and support their operations.

Loved the flights, food after our hike up the Hope Lookout! Drove from Chilliwack and we will be back. Filled up fast on a Saturday morning and loved, loved the free fizzy water. Needed after our hike. Great place and not far from the Whack! Good beers, of course!

Not really understanding the less than stellar reviews of our newest business. For example - you should NOT BE TRAVELLING two hours for food and then claim to be disappointed. Stay home, for Pete's sake! We love Mountainview Brewing Co. The space is amazing, especially if you know what was there before. The food was excellent, and the staff is warm, knowledgable and attentive. No complaints here.

Was stranded in Hope during the great mudslides/floods. Apart from good beer, they provided hot soup, a warm place to hang out, and great hospitality. I will definitely make it a point to stop by this gem every time I go that way into the Interior!

Great space and good service. We ordered a few things from the menu. Grilled cheese was very tasty and pretzels were good too but the 21 dollar cheese board was sad to say the least. Wasn’t good quality and nothing but a couple bites and crackers that seemed to be refrigerated but shouldn’t have been. Was okay don’t know if I would go back.

Had an amazing time at Mountain View Brewing ! We were fortunate to get in for their live music with no cover charge !!! and enjoy some delicious cold brews and yummy food ! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait for the next time.
