Went in to buy sake in January. Male employee tagged onto me like a shadow. I asked him to leave me alone and to allow myself and my fiance to look around. We were not dressed suspicious or shabby yet this employee decided to continue to stick to us like glue. He then decided to bring up random facts about alcohol we were not even interested in. When I asked what he recommended for sake, he said he didnt know as they do not tend to sell much of it. He pointed at the biggest bottle and said that it was likely a good one. I left with my fiance as he was making us uncomfortable. Unfortunately we were unable to find sake at other locations so we came back to buy the bottle that was reccomend. When we got it home, we opened it and found that it smelled and tasted like rotten eggs. The date on the back stated 2018. It likely spoiled. We will not be coming back anytime soon.

Their selection of beer, wine and hard liquor is very good, and they often have unique and unexpected brands. Their prices are slightly above normal but this is offset by their very good selection and very friendly, knowledgeable staff. I came in to buy some beer and asked the manager if he would tell me about the different types of whisky even though I wasn’t buying any right now, and he still talked to me for 20 minutes. Higher prices, better quality and service.
