The interior is clean and well decorated. Lots of seating divided up between bar, chairs and booths. Lots of TVs and games (arcade, billiards). Menu is big and priced fairly. The service is very friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. The food is the real star. Legit home cooking, scratch made items. Large portions, hot and delicious. Highly recommend for a pub/grill style atmosphere.

The pizza here is fantastic. The kids don't agree but they aren't buying. The old greek guy (?) who makes the pizza comes out to talk to you while your waiting. Just a super friendly nice older gentleman Cmon...you don't get that anywhere these days. Not genuine like this.Pretty awesome

This family run restaurant and pub are two gems in the Grande Prairie area. The food is excellent, I love the daily specials and homemade soup they change daily. I have been here a few times, and have never disappointed, the service and food is excellent. I will be back and recommend anyone going here as you will not be disappointed!

Real burger patties, friendly staff, took a while on skip the dishes and in restaurant so I am going to believe its because they use real ingredients. :p fairly clean although outdated. Family friendly. Moderately priced. Has never been overly busy when I have gone. Resturaunt and lounge seating options available. Karaoke nights available. Dumplings good, burger good, fries good, gravy a little grainy like (too much thickener maybe) and thick but alright flavor. Overall good enough.

Unreal food & great service. This place is welcoming and they always know their regulars. Perfect place to grab a drink, an appy and play a game of pool. I would highly recommend checking it out, it is a hidden gem in Grande Prairie!

Awesome environment and delicious food! I have been in both the majors homestyle restaurant and connecting Tractor Jacks pub, you can tell they understand what it means to be a family run buisness who appreciates making homemade delicious food! The bar is a great place to hang out, they have a nice open area to play pool, free shuffle board, and open mic night on Fridays and karaoke on Saturdays. The huge Sunday brunch buffet they throw is awesome and they go all out! They have waffles, crepes, prime rib, crab legs, so much food! The owner Rob is always around, friendly and interacting with customers. Good place to eat and will be coming again.

My experience here was interesting. The atmosphere is a little bit dated. We went on a Saturday night and they weren't even playing the hockey game in the restaurant side of the place. The wait for our food was also notably long and it was difficult to justify a tip. However, when our food did come out of the kitchen it was incredibly good. Very large portions combined with rich quality made for a very good meal.

Was starting to feel a little impatient after my (yummy) appetizer (chicken noodle soup) before my entree came out.. But turns out the wait was needed to make room. Came out plentiful in size, I have a huge appetite and couldnt finish it all. The hot turkey sandwich was incredible, I'd recommend that to anyone. My friend had the pierogies and kooby which was also large in portion and delicious. Will be back!

I went to this bar/restaurant for the first time last week after my friend recommended I try it. I have been in GP for a few months now, but this was my first time coming to this spot in the paradise inn. It is a hidden gem! The menu is great and has so many options for everyone. The service was also excellent and quick. I had the hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, and it was so good. They also had homemade pie, so I will definitely be back and trying that. Overall I had a great experience and am excited to try even more of the menu options.

Last night I we with a few friends. We order the spindip which was extremely garlicky. My friend order the chicken strips and fries. Neither had an flavouring. Then another order the poutine. The fries within the poutine were over cooked and again no flavouring added. The gravy was bland as well. Otherwise our server was great and the drinks were great but definitely won’t eat there again.

Definitely the best place in the whole entire city to get poutine it's a huge portion there's so much cheese so much flavor it's amazing don't even bother with anything else on the menu. But when you get it you have to ask for the regular smaller fries. the bigger fries are good but they're not awesome like the small fries. Also if you go on Wednesday you can get it half price so a $12 poutine is now $6 talk about awesome!!!

Got take out ordered (Skip the Dishes). We got a large meats pizza and a large donair pizza. They came delivered hot and HUGE! The pizza's are made in house with fresh ingredients and you can tell.Had group of 11 .had mix of apps and entries. Everything was done good and no complaints. Would go back again when in town for sure

If there is one place you haven't tried yet, but you want to try: I recommend Tractor Jack's! Sunday brunches have the greatest variety out of everywhere in town. Wings are great! Good variety too. Burgers are one of the best in town (in my opinion.) Staff is friendly, but sometimes the service is a little slow (very hit and miss; that's why they lost a star. But the staff is extremely friendly.)

well ill say this the pizza is good . that being said they answer the phone as if it is the other majors homestyle by the prairie mall and not tractorjacks like they did the last I called the mashed potatoes are not delicous they taste like they were made with sour milk and ranch dressing I can't even pin point what's in them to make them taste like that. i also ordered two orders of white meat and one with extra didn't get any white turkey meat and definitely didn't get extra although had no problem charging for it needless to say 60 bucks for what I ordered was way over priced for a sub par meal also ordered it as a turkey dinner which they agreed and it's actually a hot turkey sandwich not the samething so i guess partially my fault calling the wrong number but won't be making that mistake twice .

Went to TJ's and ordered the supremo burger. Came out sizzling hot and the owner "Roberto" came out to chat and ask me how it was, found out he was the one that made it for me! Delicious burger and totally awesome home fries! Get the gravy, its worth it;) I loved the cool decore and the friendly service.

I've been going to the Majors on the north end for some time now. I've known there was another in the Paradise Inn for some time now but have never checked it out till lunchtime today. I brought my 3yr old son with me and ordered him fries and gravy and I had the grilled ham and cheese sandwich with tomato. I was interested to see what it looked like. My mother had worked at the north end Majors restraint years ago and I've met Ron and Bob before. When I sat down to order they were quick to stand out. And at one point Ron brought out fresh homemade bread. Mmmmm it was delicious. Not only was the food great but I could see the family atmosphere at work and just felt comfortable. I heard there's karaoke there some nights so I'm eager to light up the microphone there. Great place I'd say.

Got the fish n chips fish was good, but it was more like fish sticks n super burnt fries i find the cooks are too lazy alot of the time to cook like their menu actually describes, service is good but i had to use the mens room a little sooner than if it were McDonalds, im only going to this place for drinks and if a friend pays for my food

Dont know how anybody could come up with a review without saying absolute perfection! Ive come here 10 times minimum for the last couple years there pasta sauce is the richest ive ever have. I could go on and on about the food here but it would write a book on perfection. ill try to leave it short and sweet the food is the best restaurant ive had EVER had 15 years from across canada. The serving size is enormous, filling coming from a guy that has a huge appetite dont bother buying appys even if your hungry always a bad decision on my part. The price is point is amazing theres a reason ive come 10+ times coming from a hotel way down the rd that has a restaurant its because this place is amazing. Wish they would franchise so i could have it at home. Surly gods gift to the world. Staff is the most important to this operation always make you feel at home 100% family run operation. Period.
