Food was really good the place is nice however our waitress needs some training..I can't tell you how many times she reached across our plate with her arms she was taking stuff away we were not even done with..we addressed it with her and she could have cared less.. Next time I hope the waitress is different and just by not doing that she could get an exceptional tip All around nice place!

Made our order at 5:38 pm for pickup through Skip, and said it would be 20 minutes. Left and did a couple stops got there to pickup for 6:02. Twice they came out with someone else’s order and asked the name again. Proceeded to show our order and the name it’s through and from Skip. I was told it was “almost” done, well I didn’t get our order and leave the restaurant by 6:30, while having several other people come to pickup their orders. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again, that much of a pain just for burgers an fries

Nice place, good atmosphere and great service. I was there for a company function, our waitress was awesome. She was on top of things from serving and getting our orders. Food was okay, nothing impressive. We had all the appies, wings were phenomenal, delicious spinach dip, nachos could use a lot more cheese and toppings, tempura shrimp seems like it came out of a box, delicious deep fried pickles, crispy cauliflower florets. Check this place out for something new. Heard they had some pretty good beaver tails!

First time here and will be the last. The 6oz steak was more like a 4 oz steak. The peppers were barely cooked in the bowl I had and the server had zero personality and wasn’t very friendly. Based on the service alone- I wouldn’t come back.

Great fresh food, awesome super friendly servers, fantastic local owners. Kid friendly have cartoons playing on a few TV's to keeps kids entertained, nice simple kids menu. Sports and other shows on other TV's. Plus lounge side for the adults very seperate from the family side and a nice outdoor patio area. Highly recommend the old trapper. Not a chain restaurant.

Food looks amazing, service was okay, and the boneless hot wings were great. I am a huge ahi tuna poke bowl fan and have tried almost all places in GP who make this dish and unfortunately, got sick after eating this here. My bf who I was with also didn't feel the best after as he had tried my dish as well. I wasn't able to use my GC I bought online as I didn't know I had to get it printed so I will try here one more time (probably something different) and see if anything changes. There were good points about this place so I hope I will have a much better experience next time.

Bad food , bad service. the food tastes like it's been pre cooked, refrigerated and then re heated. The meat especially. Dry, tasteless. Waitress had no idea what her job was. The nicest way I can put it .

Update - service and food has much improved since my original post. Nachos and other appies were tried and were delicious Tasteless food. Had a spicy burger (jalapenos, spicy sauce and jalapeno cheese) - it was not spicy and if I hadn't looked I would have swore there was no jalapenos. Tries the potato soup - tasted like it was rehydrated powered soup. Would not go back. Update - service and food has much improved since my original post. Nachos and other appies were tried and were delicious

Staffs were friendly and interactive. Food was good. Tried their wings on Wednesday which was on special. Alfredo pasta was disappointing as the sauce was separated. Their burgers are pretty good.

Great food for the price we had 7 people and the bill was under $180 with tip. Mind you we had no alcohol. The server was very pleasant. I recommend this restaurant we will visit it again on wing night next time.

I've been there several times now, when i crave a burger. The burgers are very good and filling. The fries appear to be store bought but tasty. I enjoy the beavertail, but for anyone from the ottawa region its not as good as the original. But with that being said its still very good. The wings are the best in town right now imo.

Great waitresses. The Alfredo didn't have much flavor, so the girl told the cook and they are changing it to get it back great again. So pleased with how they handled that. Husband loved his steak and potatoes. The apple crumble was delicious. You don't get much shrimp for appetizers, and Spinach dip was fantastic. Will be back again????

Great staff, great food, nice trendy environment, decent prices, good selection of beer. Choice of pub or restaurant environment, both are nice, we chose pub and felt very safe with the table spacing and distinct arrows on floor for bathroom use during these crazy covid times. My only recommendation is to replace the spray bottle hand sanitizer at the front welcome desk to a self dispensing unit in the foyer.

Good food and service. Best tasting burgers around. Super cold draught beer. Tuna bowl is also good with tons of fresh ingredients. Good place to bring kids too with it being a restaurant on one side and lounge on the other. The only thing I would change is a better sign outside. Its really hard to see from the road.

What a fantastic experience here. The owners Christine and Darren are long term business owners in the Grande Prairie Area They are both very interactive with the customers. The Food, Prices and Portions are the Best in Grande Prairie and the Quality of service from our waitress Alexis was outstanding!! Definitely coming back here it's my new favorite place. Terrible service and the food was horrible. Our server in the lounge was very rude and and acted like we were bothering her. Hubby had the fish and chips, he couldn't finish the fish because it tasted so bad. I had a wrap, it was like eating Wendy's....very subpar.... Was looking forward to checking this place out because of all the good reviews....will never go back....Don't waste your money. Another restaurant that's going to die in that spot, unfortunately....

Really impressed with this spot! Went for the 2nd time tonight. Waitress was excellent, as was the food! Steak was very tender and sides were hot and fresh. Table of 4 and we were all very happy with our dinner!

Unfortunately had a bad experience. Ordered a 10oz steak which was the quite expensive and not on par with the other steak places in town. Pub quality steak at best, had a hair on it so I ate my salad while I waited for the waitress. I ate a long blonde hair in my Caesar salad which I had to pull out of my mouth. Lost my appetite after that. Service was average at best as well.

Wonderful atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, and good prices. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and loved it. Best restaurant burger I've had in while, he enjoyed his fish and chips. Our server was wonderful, always made sure we were good, and friendly and bright. I would definitely recommend coming here. We will be returning.
