Very disappointed in management and customer service. We placed an order online and got a confirmation email. 1 hour later, pizza still not here so we called Ramona’s. They didn’t have our order in their system. Claim online glitch was causing issues. Refused to offer discount. Spoke to manager, offered only 25% off order. As a manager myself, they should have given 50% off order. Because of the measly $20 Ramona’s refused to budge on, they lost a customer, got 1 out of 5 on google, and left a family hungry. Ever hear of a loss leader? Geez.

Unfortunately after ordering here for years, we won’t be back. Ordered and told 35 minutes for pick up, showed up at about 40 minutes, still not ready, told they will bring it out in 10-15 minutes. An hour later of waiting in the parking lot still no one came out. 1 hour and 45 minutes after ordering we asked for a refund to take our business elsewhere. I don’t think the pizza ever even got made. No apology. Nothing. Poor, poor service you guys. We were loyal customers but no more. Super unfortunate because your pizza is hands down the best in town, too.

This family run pizza joint can be gruff service but the pizza is great and much better value for your money than many other places in town. Get the Ramonas special. It's piled super high. Ask about their deals - they often won't volunteer it.

I have never left a review before..This is the first place that has actually inspired me too. since the first day I ever tried Ramona's pizza I have never been disappointed. It is different. Too the amount of toppings they lather the pizza with too the qaulity of the ingredients they must make these pizzas with some sort of extra love because I have eaten pizza from here for 3 days in a row lmfao. Not only is it a great eat but they're staff are very friendly. I only had too ever once during a rush hour when it was really busy.. and it was about an hour which they warned me ahead of time..but I had to say the wait was worth it like always ????????????

The pizza, donair, and fries are all good, but it seems like almost every other time we order something goes wrong. Once before they had ran out of an ingredient and we had to alter our order (I can't recall what it was, it wasn't pizza). Which happens sometimes but with tonight's order I was told they don't actually stock anchovies regularly yet have it as an option because they sometimes have them. It was the same person for both those instances and she was disappointed both times. Once the food was delivered about an hour later than the estimated delivery, which I know is an estimate but that's way off when the estimate already says more than an hour wait in the first place. Another time they forgot the sauce on a donair and on the recent order they put the wrong sauce on the pizza (in both instances I checked our order to make sure I didn't make the mistake). When they forgot the donair sauce I contacted them through their feedback form but never got a response. It's good food but the little things add up. Not sure if it's worth it when we may end up disappointed in one way or another like this. Edit: Gave them another shot and yet again they made a mistake. The pizza was good but they forgot the donair from the order. It took nearly half an hour for the driver to go back and get it. It was warm so I suspect they made it then or remade it if they just forgot to give it to the driver. It's always something. I basically give up. It's not worth the roulette of how someone will be disappointed.

I ordered 2 med pizzas at 4:55 pm said to pick up at 5:31 when I showed up they tell me that they are going to be another 15-20 minutes this is the second time this has happened I had stopped coming over a year ago thought I would try them out again well I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks the service is horrible as well they can't keep up with the high volumes of food orders they also can't follow directions wrong food orders all the time won't be back looks like it's little Ava's pizzas from now on

Made two orders on same call and they delivered only one of them! Then delivered the other 45 minutes later and it was cold! Called and complained to get it reimbursed they offered me a free pizza next time and it'll be on my file. I call back a week later and had to deal with 10 minutes of staff confusion to even confirm my free pizza! This place is horrible but let me get to the best part. On they're second attempt to make it up to me it took an hour and a half only to get a small pizza in return when it was supposed to be large! And then they tried charging me 8 bucks for 2 drinks and then ask for a tip and their debit machine has a surcharge. This place is the most garbage pizza place I've ever dealt with

Ordered 3 pizzas for the family. Waited 20 minutes after it was scheduled to arrive before calling. She says our order just went out. We live 5 minutes away. We wait another 20 minutes before calling again. She says the order actually isn’t on its way because it was never made. Thankfully they were kind enough to offer to charge us full price and wait another 45 minutes. We had to decline the generous offer, as it was now already past the kids bedtime. Literally never going back. Good luck staying open with service like that.

The pizza is always great here however the service is just plain awful! I ordered my food online right at 11 am. The website told me it would be ready at around 11:37 am. I show up 10 minutes after and had to wait 10 minutes before a waitress acknowledged me. I told her it was a simple pickup but she said that there wasn't an order. She later finds it only to realize that it wasn't fully processed. This lead to me waiting around an additional 30 MINUTES. It wasn't just me though, there were numerous people behind me getting frustrated because they were in the exact situation as me. Then they still charge me full price for my food after they wasted my time. It's a shame the service is so poor here. I won't be coming back.

I use to order there at least 2 times a week the new location would constantly screw up my order I would get the godfather pizza which would constantly change in flavour. Donair with both sauces I asked for came with absolutely nothing but the meat the woman I have to deal at new location seems like she's drunk. And got extremely lippy with me when I politely told her my same order 5 times. I would give 0 stars but I will always have a place in my heart for them. They just need to work out some staff issues. Oh and during pick up at new location staff arguing while I waited wasn't cool either chef had a piss poor attitude

We ordered the lady forgot what we ordered 4 times then 30 minutes later forgot we even ordered and had to check again to see if she even put the order in..... 1hr later we finally get are pizza..... please fix the service issue pizza tastes great but customers shouldn't have to make sure 5 Times that the pizza is actually ordered right.

Pizza dough was soggy, thin and very undercooked, and our Wings had literally been cooked to death we couldn't even eat them. We have always been a fan of Ramona’s pizza until our experience last time. We decided to try the new location in Railtown and Dine In. Our service and atmosphere was great! But the pizza was mediocre at best. The pepperoni has changed, it was greasy and tastes cheap. Also, the crust tastes like it has changed as well? It was tasteless and bland and what I would expect for a $15 pizza from Dominoes, but certainly not the quality we have come to expect from Ramonas. Disappointing for sure but we will definitely give it another try before we call it quits.

They screw you on the deals unless you pick up. Their sizes are one smaller than the standard. A medium is a small. Plus they charge delivery and expect a tip. Rip off! To bad it taste good.

Tried calling to place an order for pick up, call got answered and immediately placed on hold without any notice then got hung up on. Tried calling again same thing. Decided to go in and place the order and come back and pick it up. As soon as I told the girl what kind of pizza I wanted she left and put it in as if it was completed no questions asked. I asked about their deal for the free medium pizza when you order a large pizza for take out and was told that's only for phone orders and explained that I tried calling but got hung up on. She apologized because they were busy but the special apparently doesnt apply when you order for pick up in store. Was told my order would be 20 minutes. Came back in 30, was told it would be another 5. Waited 20. Then she told me the girl went outside and she doesnt know why. Came back with my pizza and refunded me half the price. Pizza was good, second star because she tried to make it right in the end.

We ordered a Canadian pizza as well as a BBQ chicken with No cheese (because of a dairy allergy). This wasn't a problem when we first started ordering from Ramona's but lately it's always wrong! Our last order (today June 14th) we waited 1h30 (reasonable we were warned) and again wrong order. We had to wait another hour for a pizza that, arrived cold, was sloppily made and clearly thrown around, but no cheese so yay. This never was a problem before and we don't know what changed but we will not be reordering. Edit if you eat cheese the place is great obviously but for special diets no so much. Giving 2 stars because of the repeated mistakes.

Normally I love this place. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service we received last night. For delivery we ordered 3 pizzas, a lasagna & chicken bites. We made it VERY clear there was a shrimp allergy & somehow it still showed up with shrimp. Not a huge deal but we called back to rectify the problem, 3 people later the problem was still not solved. We were just argued with and ended up having to just throw it out. Pretty piss poor customer service.

Ordered pizza today, and got it on time, but i will say for 50 bucks, it sure wasn't worth it, both pizza's i ordered looked like they were droppped, i am not normally one to complain but this was bad. We have ordered from them before and they usually are good...but i have found recently that they are high priced for not so great pizza anymore, and now this...i don't like to pay 50 bucks for a pizza that has been dropped, and missing half of it's toppings. I have been ordering from Ramona's for years! The last 3 pizzas I've ordered, the crust has been paper thin with no sauce. I specifically asked for more sauce this time because of the previous two not having sauce. Once again, practically no sauce! I know the occasional accident can happen so didn't call the first two times. This time I called and spoke to owner who said the pizza had lots of sauce. Next time ask for more. I did! Super disappointed and will be ordering somewhere else for a while before I try again.

Down town location has been good. but north end has screw up all of my orders. The last time I didn’t eat ether pizza brought it into them and ordered wings instead all they would offer after taking both pizzas back was a 20% discount because I refused to eat their pizza anymore. I live a block from this location and refuse to set foot in the door again.. staff is down right rude and lazy.

Upon calling I was told and hour wait at least for a replacement to be delivered. Had to come back down and now waiting 15 mins and finally someone asked if I've been helped. The food, it's amazing, we've only ever done take out and typically pizza as they offer gluten free. But over four times now we've asked for extra pizza sauce, and this last time we said lots of pizza sauce and still you can barely see it under the toppings. We even asked to be charged for it to make sure they did it this time. So for that reason, I only gave them a three, the pizza could be so much better with some actual sauce.

Absolutely excellent pizza. Among the best in Alberta. Does a roaring takeout business. There is on site seating. Service sucks really bad. Waitresses intentionally avoid looking at you for fear u might ask them to do something. The pizza however is good enough to be worth overlooking the crappy service. Just be pushy and don't tip.

But owner seems honest and wanted to make it right... All I wanted was A steak Sandwich with steamed veges and to have someone serve me for once.. I dont think I ask for much.... Perhaps if the people in the back showed the energy the waitress and the owner did I would have went back in. But walking through the door excited to try out The New Ramona's the older lady looked right at me and back down not even A hello... luckily the server did greet me and did her job well. I had The Godfather and it was phenomenal. Wait time for food to deliver was an hour, ordered on Tuesday around 8pm. presentation of pizza was okay. it seemed they were in a hurry. I ordered chicken wings as well and it was nothing special. But when I tasted their pizza, it was just......WOW! No wonder they are busy. It was worth a wait. Cheese, dough, sauce, toppings were all fresh and there was generous amount of ingredients on pizza. We had no idea. It's served with fries here, as is the norm in AB, but we had Greek salads instead which were also good. I ordered a pep, mush and grn pepper pizza large and got the second one free, a ham and pepperoni. I was pleasantly surprised, best pizza I've had in Grande Prairie!!!!

Best Pizza In GP! I have walked to the downtown location and enjoyed the great pizza. I have ordered the pizza and been told it would be an hour wait maybe more. It was at the door in 40 minutes, hot and delicious, I would have waited a couple hours because it is the best quality pizza in the city! Keep up the great service, it is really appreciated.

Wish I could say pizza was great, but we waited 2 hours for delivery. Phoned to ask what were it was and they hadn't even started the order. To top it off the lady on the phone was laughing and giggling with a colleague. Didn't care about our order or apologize for the wait. Canceled order and ordered Papa John's. They were here in 20 min.

Stopped in to order and wait for takeout. Absolutely scrumptious pizza made and served up by fantastic staff!!! Courteous, polite and quick!!! Roaring business on a Saturday night at 06:00 PM the phone never stopped ringing and the delivery boys hauling stacks of pizza!!! Service with a smile!!! Had a beer while I waiting for my takeout and watched the hockey game!!! 10 Stars for this business!! Talked to a gentleman while I waited-The mother started this business 30 years ago and boys run it now. Outstanding boys!

Got the keto pizza... fair warning it is sloppy and messy. I wouldn't even really call it a pizza. It was more of a fondue with pizza toppings in it.. but I really enjoyed it. Cheese and alfredo sauce were really good.

Awful. Didn't appreciate how careless the staff were. First they were a half hour late, then I got my food and something was clearly done to it that was unbelievable. The staff and management didn't care at all when I called in and told them. I usually would never right a review especially in a negative aspect but this can't go unnoticed and should be stopped immediately. No one should have to pay for gross food cooked by people who dont care at all

Food is always amazing however the service at the new location along resources is absolutely atrocious. Was told a half hour wait for food arrived on time to pickup and waiting an additional hour for food. Management that was on staff couldn’t be bothered by the poor customer service and nothing was offered to help make up for the unnecessary wait. Will not support this location again. Save your time.

It’s a shame the pizza here is so good. I called and Ordered at 630 pm. I was told it would be 45 minutes. At 745pm, I called to find out if they had forgotten about me and if my order was coming. I was told the delivery man left 20 minutes ago (I live 1.9 km from the restaurant and google says it’s a 7 minute drive). At 8:03 my pizza finally arrived and it was “warm” at best. It’s a good thing there pizzas good cold. It’s sad this is the service you get. It could be such a wonderful restaurant as there food is excellent but service very poor.

So good! I was visiting family in Grande Prairie and they said I couldn't leave without having Ramona's pizza! So glad I did! I ordered the pick-up special, getting a medium paradise chicken pizza and a large donair pizza! Amazing! -i actually brought the leftovers back all the way to Kelowna! Would highly recommend. Next time I am in GP, I will order from here again and try different pizzas.

The food is quite good but the parking is atrocious at the Resources Road location and they are definitely not prepared to handle high volume takeout. Tonight we called in an order and were told to come in 40 mins. We arrived and find out that we need to wait another 40-45 mins. The last time we did takeout from this location we had a similar experience. If waiting a few hours for pizza isn't your thing, I'd recommend one of the many other local pizza places.

Very disappointing experience. We ordered pizza and wings. We’re quoted 40 minutes to be delivered. After 1.5 hours we called, and were told our pizza had left a while ago to be delivered. After 2 hours we called again and were told there was no record of our order and that it was never made. Just then the delivery man showed up with our cold pizza and wings. We were given a 20% discount with no apologies and snappy staff member on the phone. Should have been a free meal when it’s that late, cold and we were lied to. Very poor customer service.

The pizza was incredible but what was even better was the customer service! I am from out of town and this place was recommended by an employee of mine. Note: Don't use the maps app on your iPhone to find this place, because it takes you in the opposite direction. I drove around for about half an hour trying to find it before I decided to call the restaurant to explain I was lost. The gentleman that answered the phone was incredibly helpful. He stayed on the phone with me for 15 minutes and guided me to their location. He went above and beyond for me. As someone who has worked in customer service for over a decade I was impressed! I am extremely appreciative of his efforts and patience. Highly recommend this establishment. Go for the pizza, stay for the fantastic service.

Order from their online order and after 1hr past the estimated delivery time I called the store to ask where my order was the girl said the order was on it's way. Waited an additional 1hr. Called back again spoke to a manager and apparently the order never actually went through, even though we had an order confirmation number. He was willing to put a credit on our account but honestly after the service from this evening it will be a long while before I am willing to order from here again which sucks because is is amazing pizza.

Bland, overpriced, and poor service The pastas are actually flavourless, the other menu items weren’t much better. The meat sauce was genuinely so bland that it makes you wonder if you’re supposed to season it yourself with the condiments on the table. They’re pretty excessive with cheese though, almost to compensate for the lack of other flavours. The nacho chips were weirdly thick and limp, almost stale despite having just come out of the oven? Our waitress would come back fairly often to ask us how we were doing but forget to actually do the things we asked for. She said she would bring a jug of water and then never did, when we asked her again, she forgot again and again until we were ready to leave. Kinda funny that she went through the motions of waiting but not coming through with it. Maybe she was just too busy chatting with the weird man at the bar who occasionally goes in and out of the kitchen to remember our requests. Also, we had gotten there for happy hour but the waitress said it was over, but another table had asked for happy hour prices and their waitress was way more accommodating to their request, even telling them “just say this and I can do it, don’t worry”... differential treatment ... Generally wouldn’t recommend this place.

Stopped by and ordered and payed. Was told an hour for delivery+ a charge for delivery, that's fine, they were super busy. It was a little more than an hour, fine. The pizza was hot. I opened the boxes, the taco pizza had none of the add-ons, just a beef and onion pizza. I called, the woman was not polite, no sorry, just that that stuff comes on the side, with a tone that it was somehow my fault. She said she would send it out, I asked if she could catch the driver, and he could come back with it. He obviously didn't have it to begin with as it took 25 minutes for it, I had decided to start eating it about 5 minutes before it arrived, thinking they must have figured it wasn't worth it. The pizza is fine, but they have an attitude that they are the only game in town. Seems like more often than not orders are not correct from anywhere, at least the "lowend" places have the courtesy to apologize and try to make it right. The pizza is expensive and the service poor.

I really enjoy their pizza it is one of my favorites in town. I like how they have cauliflower crust and honestly that is the best alternative for gluten free. The reason it is not 5 stars is because when I picked it up it was cold. Easy fix just put it in the oven and still tasted good. I also like how they don't skimp out on the toppings.
